Kneaders takes something as simple as fresh baked breads and pastries and parlays them in to some pretty damned good food. Several kinds of bread can be made in to great sandwiches, panini, or served along side homemade soups and salads. Add some good sides like coleslaw, pasta salad, or other goodness and you get a great meal. This isn't McKneaders. You won't find a dollar menu or cheap food. You're going to pay $8ish for a sandwich and another $2-$3 to combo it up with those sides I mentioned. Great news is the food is quality. Real, carved turkey, fresh bread, ripe avocado, special sauces, and from-scratch items make it worth every penny. The sandwiches are big. The only downfall to this is you don't leave a lot of room for dessert! Different bread puddings, pastries, and cookies lure you in to the "oh my gosh I'm full but reeeeaaaalllllyyy need a cookie" mentality. One of my personal selling points here is fresh brewed iced tea. They rotate flavors which gives me something added to look forward to.

I was really frustrated with this place the other morning. Came here for some breakfast and a coffee shortly after they opened (7 am). While we were choosing what we wanted to eat, the manager was at the front counter refunding money for a ruined order (this should have been our first clue). The 2 stars are specifically for the decor and service. The service was friendly (especially considering it was 7 am) and the decor is fitting for a cute bakery. The food: Egg and cheese breakfast sandwich: no sauce AT ALL. Literally egg, a tiny price of cheese on a HALF A SANDWICH....they really do not even bother to give you a whole sandwich. The bread was dried out and crumbly and the egg had absolutely no seasoning. I could have made this sandwich at home for 1/4 of the price and it would've tasted 10x better! Coffee: We ordered a latte with no foam and a mocha with 2 shots.....what we got: a latte with half a cup of foam and a hot chocolate with no coffee whatsoever. I will not be back. Very frustrated.

I'm going to start this off by saying I'm a huge fan of kneaders. Admittedly I only really order one thing and that is the French toast. I eat large quantities of food and since its unlimited I LOVE it. It's not just the quantity that is great but the quality. The bread is thick and delicious. I believe it has cinnamon and other things in the bread, so basically it's starting out better than most people's French toast. Then there's the syrup. It's not even fair to call it syrup! It's a delicious Carmel-esque sauce and my goodness it makes me never want to have traditional syrup on pancakes or French toast ever again. The service even on a busy day is polite and prompt. I highly recommend Kneaders to anybody except those with a gluten intolerance.

Every time I went in, multiple times the food has been consistently good! Lunch gets crazy packed and it is a little expensive but here we go.. French toast. BEYOND AMAZING! I like how they serve it with fresh strawberries! Breads. Every. Single. One. I've tried was delicious! This rosemary one I tried I even gave as a gift! Chicken pesto panini. I was semi disappointed. The "pesto" was 4-5 whole basil leaves, the chicken was so-so but perfectly toasted The turkey Avocado bacon sandwich. Dear gosh that thing was a hefty serving of harmony! Overall, a solid 4. It'd be a 5 if they made it a little more affordable for us college kids!

First off, great personal service from Cody who did a remarkable job in assisting me in creating a gift basket. When you first enter this medium sized business you are immediatly hit with a cacophny of smells that will soon have you ordering more delicous pastry items than you originally intented to. Their display of pastries and breads are well lit and very clean. The line can be pretty long depending on the time you arrive but there are a few samples available of their brieds and pastrys that you can munch on to help past the time. I had the chocolate and banana breads and they were very good. I will update this when I have had more of their items. Their seating area is nice and open so if you feel like having a good cup of joe or tea with a pastry, this would be a great place

Service was great and friendly. The cashier was very helpful abot what was in the different salads. We all 3 got our sandwhiches and/or salads very quickly. I had the Chicken ala Mondo salad...boyfriend had a BLT I believe and our friend had a french dip. The salad was amazing! I think that that will be my new go to salad there. Great atmosphere and great food! What more could you ask for?

You only have so many chews in your lifetime. Do not waste any of them at Kneaders. I called for takeout on my way through Ogden to avoid the lunch crush. Me: "Do you offer a 1/2 sandwich & soup option? If so, what are your soups?" Kneadrone: "Yes. Yes we do. Soups are 1,2,3,4,5 ..." [stay tuned, it doesn't matter] Me: "I'd like a 1/2 tuna salad and soup, please." Kneadrone: "Ooooh, that's one of our SIGNATURE SANDWICHES! It only comes as a whole." Me: "Yeah, you wouldn't want to sign only your first name." Kneadrone: "Huh?" Me: "I'll just have the sandwich." And O! what a sandwich it was. For $7 you too can have this item lovingly dropped from a great height into a to-go container. You will get nothing else, and when you open it up you will discover that you actually received much much less. Please observe the "green" semi-lettuce and the goldfish-thin layer of tuna salad that is in absolutely no danger of spilling over the edge. My advice to Kneaders: You should probably use an alias when serving up this signature "food."

I' be eaten at kneaders in Layton and loved it, but the ogden location has been disappointing to say the least. The last 3 times visiting, I received something wrong in my order either something left out or the wrong sandwich. Also, these expensive sandwiches have about one small piece of meat dead center in the middle of the bread with about an inch of bread with nothing all the way around. If I order a turkey sandwich I want turkey on it, but the biggest ingredient that covers most of the bread is that one slice of tomato. It would be nice if they would fix the problems, but I've complained before and come back to exactly the same issues. So, if you want to go to kneaders, hit the one in Layton instead.

Always a good sign when you arrive for lunch and the line is out the door. I can see why too. Hot soup, delicious sandwiches, and many other healthy options. Will definitely be back, multiple times, this week.

Gave the place another try for breakfast since we were right there, and what a transformation... the breakfast sandwich, which I had on white bread (untoasted per my special request) was full to overflowing. The egg just had a little soft yoke left in it, which I LOVE! The manager solved a service problem (that I will not rehash here since it has already been addressed) quickly and professionally. Nicely done.

Great location and a warm atmosphere! The employees were polite and helpful, even while we took a long time to decide what we wanted. I got the chicken noodle soup and a key lime tart, both of which were delicious! My boyfriend got a chicken pesto panini, strawberry cheesecake, and a caramel frappé. His food was great, however, the frappe was underwhelming. It was unexpectedly bland, and had almost no flavor. Nonetheless, we will be returning to Kneader's very soon!

First time at Kneaders and most likely my last. As I stood in line waiting to order my meal the display case was full of very delicious looking cakes and pastries. The inside of the restaurant is very well done and clean. I decided to order a Ruben sandwich and this ended up be a mistake. I also ordered a bowl of Tomato Bisque, and the meal came with some potato chips. I only waited a short time after ordering and the meal was brought to my table. At first glance every thing looked great and I was excited to dig in. I started off with the soup, had to add a little salt & pepper as it was a little bland but not bad. As I ate the soup I started feeling weird pieces of some thing unchewable. Not sure what it was but it didn't sit well with me so I moved on to the Reuben. This sandwich was huge, and had some really dark brown rye bread just the way I like it. I took my first bite and everything went sour from that point. The sauerkraut was about and inch thick and all piled up in the middle of the sandwich. I took the sandwich apart and found the sandwich was completely center loaded with about an inch of empty bread all the way around it. I was able to find 2 pieces of thinly sliced meat and one melted slice of cheese that may have covered half the sandwich. Was never able to find any sauce. This was by far the worst Ruben sandwich I have ever eaten. I normally give places a second chance but between the soup and sandwich I think I will always be able to get better food else where. To bad I really thought this place would have been better.

Fast dinner. Very nice mushroom brie soup and a fruit tart. The fruit tart oddly didn't have much fruit on it. The soup was delicious. $7 for a soup and a pastry.

Loved this place. Traveling from out of town and it is great to have a place with healthy options and delicious food. If you're easily tempted by pastries close your eyes near the register or prepare to buy some!

I went on a Kneaders binge for quite a few months.. that is the only place I wanted to go out to eat!! I love their sandwiches so much! A favorite is the Turkey Bacon Avocado on a croissant. Their soups are ALL delicious. Their desserts are overpriced (around $4 for a single serving), but they are rich and filling. If we feel like having a little treat, we will get one and share it. Its a more expensive Sandwich/Bread store. It's kind of like Old Grist Mill meets The Quilted Bear. lol. Kind of a wierd explanation.. but I love it!! Food is amazing!

I thought I would wait a bit for the "Newness" to wear off to give this place a try. Parking is awful but the place itself was cute. We ordered a pastrami sandwich and I was not impressed at all. It was lacking flavor, hardly any meat and all we tasted was the bread. For the price I paid, it wasn't worth it. I did though give it a second try and got the Turkey sandwich which was much better and very filling but notice that they put onions on both sandwiches and I'm not an onion fan. For what it's worth, better off going to Subway for a bigger sandwich at a smaller price.

They are new, so I cant judge the service too harshly, they were busy and learning the systems and getting a rhythm down. But... MAN.. we waited 15 minutes for a cinnamon roll, cookie, and tart... all already made, all they needed to do was grab them out of the case. The cinnamon roll was stale, the tart was more filling than anything else, but the cookie was delicious. My kids were happy and felt spoiled, but those three items cost us almost $10. Its a novelty. I would rather go to Toppers Bakery across town and spend $10 on an entire BOX of treats- yeah, toppers is a bit gross looking and its full of boxes in the lobby (compared to Kneaders "basket area" what the what is that?!) but frankly, Kneaders is over-hyped from what I've tasted and seen, and not worth the lines and cost. Maybe once construction is done in the area and it isnt such a hassle to get in and out, and its not so novel and busy, I'll give it another shot.

I really love me some Kneaders. I really do. I love their bread, I love their sandwiches, I love their soups, I love their salads, I love their pastries (chocolate croissant, yum!). I love everything about Kneaders. Every Kneaders that I've ever been to has been excellent... That being said, a new Kneaders has just beeen built in Ogden. Tried to go there today but it's too new. There were at least a million people. Good for Kneaders. I'm glad for them. BUT... Whose bright idea was it to build a parking lot on the south side of the building when the only entrance to the building is on the north side? The parking situation is just absolutely insane! And leaving the lot you're only permitted to turn right???? WTH?? It's in the middle of the freakin' block... why can't people turn left? I grew up right there, Washington is NEVER so busy that you can't make a left turn out of a business there. Kneaders, your restaurants are 5 stars. The one star here is for your ridiculous parking lot in Ogden.

2nd time eating at a Kneaders. I think this place is overrated. The food is fine, but not that spectacular. All I ever heard was that I HAD to try kneaders because it was so good. So I've tried it. No big deal! And I feel a bit over priced for what you get!

I decided to give this Kneaders another try. Here is my updated review. 1. They have updated the parking lot situation and it is now much easier to get in and out of the parking lot five stars for that. 2. The place was pretty busy again today but far more efficient the line moved fast and my food came out in a hurry. 3. The food was tastier this time around. Being a sucker for focaccia I ordered the FAMOUS | TURKEY BACON AVOCADO ON FOCACCIA $7.99 Slow roasted hand pulled turkey, bacon, kneaders sauce, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, salt & pepper, avocado. This sandwich is huge and packed with fresh roasted turkey breast I was okay with the price this time as I can get two lunches out this one meal. For my special treat I had the chocolate croissant It was not the freshest but still very yummy! I like to think that they made these updates due to constructive criticism from yelpers like us, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!
