My first taste was amazing! The meal consisted of a well seasoned chicken breast, quinoa, tomato bisque, and squash. I suggest ordering EXACTLY what I ordered.

Service was great. We both ordered Eden's Best Salad with Chicken (half), it was very fresh and very good and plenty to eat. They also served warm rolls that were very good.

Amazing food, best salmon I've ever had. The service was a little slow but good otherwise. They gave us free dessert to make up for the slow service. A little pricey, but not outrageous.

This restaurant has now moved to downtown Ogden with a new owner. I am not sure if the chef is the same. We were there last week, Nov 2014, and were not overly impressed. I'll give them a little slack since they had only been open a few weeks and hope they can turn it around. I had the Fish-n-Chips with a starter of Calamari. The fish was breaded and all three pieces were the same size and shape. They looked fresh from a frozen fish box. So did the Calamari. The chips were shoestring potatoes. The others in our group were not impressed either. The atmosphere was nice, but it looked the same as when it was a Cajun place.

First came here on a Monday but but it was closed (hours on door said it was open) so came here on a Wednesday. It was actually great food, great view. The steak was very well cooked and had great flavor. I had trouble getting a refill of my ice tea, but other than that, it was great

I tried the restaurant during restaurant week. We went for lunch & I had chicken wings & beef brisket. I was happy with the food, it was yummy. My friend said she liked her nachos & rice bowl as well. The server was friendly & helpful, but he forgot to refill my water at all. I really liked the environment. We brought our children, but if I go back I probably wouldn't bring them. The children's menu was more expensive than most places for what you get (mostly because the kids drink was not included, it cost $3 in addition to the meal) and the use of glass drink-ware and the table only seating was a little cramped for child diners.

Nice sit-down dining spot here with great service. Great for large parties or events. Probably best eatery in the area if you're skiing/boarding at Powder Mountain. They even have a big-screen projector in which you can watch a game. It was freezing outside, and felt so warm and cozy inside. I tried the 1/2 lb prime rib which was pretty tasty. They had a special mardi gras buffet for $30 that I should've done instead cause my brother did that and loved everything from the fried catfish, fried shrimps, grilled steaks, etc.

Less than average food quality ... Extremely over priced $165.00 for salmon and 2 small crab legs and mashed potatoes for 2! I about fell over..

had a pretty great meal there, prime rib & halibut special. halibut was perfect and the pr was said to be the last cut available but still was pretty good. I've had my share of p.rib all over the west and they cook theirs in the smoker which was different but pretty good.

A decent wine list, a nice selection of steaks, soups and salads and a nice experience for this little ski town. We had a wonderful server and a good time.

I ordered the 1/2 pound "Gourmet" burger with bleu cheese cooked medium for $9. What I received was a thin disk of rubbery, overdone "meat" that had been cooked to a uniform shade of gray. I couldn't decide if what I was served was a Kirkland-brand Costco hamburger patty or something worse, but it certainly fell well short of "Gourmet". Overall, it just left me feeling bad that some animal had to die in order to be processed into something so sad and inedible. You're probably not going to find any other restaurants in the vicinity of Eden that aren't owned by the same people who own Harley and Bucks, so my advice is to get a microwave burrito from the Mavericks mini-mart down the road and save your money. To their credit, the servers were friendly and attentive.

This is by far the coolest and tastiest fine dining in all of Eden & Ogden. Coolest because they have updated a beautiful historic general store into a modern and cozy dining experience. There is a ton of antique furniture scattered around but my favorite is the "new" Frigidaire next to the bar. I want one for my own fantasy kitchen with the same peekaboo doors, mirrored panels, and old school lever handles. Tastiest because you don't even have to walk in to know that the meat is gonna be good. There's a smoker out back and as our server informed us, the brisket and ribs are smoked for something obscene like 10 hours, and the rib eye is marinated for 3 days straight. Wow. The maple butter that comes with the bread is delicious, really whets the appetite. My half a portion of Eden's Best salad was hefty and probably the best spinach salad I've ever had (lots of fresh bacon, cranberries, blue cheese). Half of our party had the smoked meats (brisket & ribs), and half of us had their Southwestern specialties (fajitas, fish tacos, mmmm). All of us were in seventh heaven and there was some serious doggybagging and food coma-ing. Great specials too like Thursday nights are $2 local microbrews with the King Crab dinners. Tuesdays are Local's Nights. Wish we could have stayed longer!! Fantastic wine list (both by the glass and bottle) and even one organic microbrew (Wildflower)! One very important note: Reservations are practically mandatory. We tried getting in on Saturday evening and they stopped taking newcomers at 7:30pm. Obviously a testament to their deliciousness and not uppity-ness, lol.

Harley and Bucks have recently moved to Ogden . I went to the old location many times . I have been to the new location twice since they moved . The service has always been an issue . And both times was no different . It took about 10 minutes for the waitress to show up and then they only do the least they have to do . Take your order bring food and bill . Most of the food is good .I do like the BBQ , Steaks and Short Ribs . But the Lobster mac and cheese is horrible . Just overcooked salad shells with cream sauce and some small bits of what's supposed to be lobster . Also for what you pay a salad should be included with the dinners . They pay for parking but don't let you know until after you have already paid . So better luck next time . We tried to get a gift card . And no one knew hoe to do it . Finally one person could do it but was complaining that it was just to much work for them . I only go there if someone else really wants to try it .

Nice view great service. Unfortunately the food wasn't quite up to par. I've been here twice. Once for brunch, which was AMAZING, but 2nd time for dinner was a bust. My halibut was over cooked and dry. I'd be willing to go back again for dinner...maybe try something else. ***I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK FOR BRUNCH

I've been to Harley and bucks many times, and I feel confident that I can provide a decent review for this restaurant. When I entered the restaurant, I was grreeted with a great atmosphere and live music. The restaurant gave us bread which looked delicious, but was actually really mediocre. I ordered a burger and 8 chicken wings. The service was fine and all of our food came out relatively fast. The chicken wings ere pretty standard, but had a sauce that I wasn't a fan of. The bleu cheese dressing was fine, and overall I enjoyed the wings. My hamburger came out and looked pretty good. However, the fries were cold and the hamburger has less than satisfactory meat. The best part of the whole restaurant was probably the fact that the bathroom had a motion sensing garbage can. Harley and bucks is pretty mediocre, but is the best non Mexican food option in the valley.

Causal atmosphere, very tasty, good company. Even tried a jalepeno beer. Very interesting.

Three of us ate and drank for $67. Coming from park city where you can't get a fart in a glass for under $100, we were happy. We were greeted with smiles and jokes all around (asked if we wanted to sit on the patio in a blizzard) We'd go back without hesitation. Service 5 stars. Atmosphere 4 stars. Food 4 stars. This place is a-ok if you're in the area.

I have a friend who has a vacation home in Eden and Harley and Bucks is walking distance. I have been here for dinner and it was decent. This time we stopped by for just drinks and one of our friends was talking about trying to cook us biscuits and gravy the next day for breakfast. The manager overheard and offered to include it on the next days brunch menu if we came. So the next day we came. We had excellent service and the choices were plentiful and delicious. Something for everyone. We had a table full of picky eaters and we all left happy and satisfied. The manager also held true to his word. The most awesome biscuits and gravy ever!!!

Saved this spot all week for Crab night, that they advertise. We went at 7:30 since the guys did the powder cat skiing that day in Park City. We got there only to find out they were all out of Crab. That is the only reason we came to this place, for the crab. It was a big disappointment, if you want the crab either go early or call and make sure they still have some. The food that we ended up with was just ok. Service staff is good, and friendly Price is good

We had a free voucher to come here, which is the way we found out about it. It has a lovely atmosphere but the food left more to be wanting. The bread was ok, but the sweet butter (honey butter?) was a nice touch. We started with the tomato/mozzarella salad which was pretty delicious. I always love this dish, though and it's really hard to screw up sliced heirloom tomatoes layered with whole milk mozzarella and lightly doused in balsamic vinegar. At $9, it's a bit steep, but I think at an establishment like this, it's expected. For the entrees, I had the lobster ($33, wanted to get full use out of that voucher!) and my bf had the NY strip ($27). The lobster was kind of meh. As in, parts of it were inedible and chewy. It was not as delightful as I was expecting. Especially b/c I had to keep spitting out pieces into my napkin. Yuck! My bf's steak, however, was pretty good with it's red wine dipping sauce. It came with fries and something else that I can't remember. I had the loaded baked potato and fresh broccoli. Both were all right. I had a glass of the "marques" Spanish red wine since they only had a few wines by the glass. It was pretty good. And my bf's amber beer was delicious. I'd come back here, but obviously get something else to eat. The food was pretty hit and miss, so if you come here, I'd order something safe and not have high expectations. Also we came on a Sat. night and did not need reservations at all. It was busy (b/c our waitress kept trying to fly away when we wanted to order) but not too bad. The attire varied, but was mostly pretty casual.

Pro's: Awesome French Onion Soup, Awesome views off the deck in the fall at sunset, Great Wine Selection, Ambiance Con's: Long Haul from Salt Lake I've had the grilled Ahi Tuna (twice) and the Kona Rib Eye (once). I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna and will have it in the future. The French Onion Soup is awesome. Definitely a top five for the soup. The wine list is overwhelming. The wine manager came out and helped my group select a couple of wines and they were solid choices. Service is solid. Ambiance is nice, with a lodge feel, big ceilings, and a nice bar. I've never had to wait to be seated, but I'm there during the week, M-Th nights. If you are lucky enough to be in the area in the fall on a nice day, sit out on the deck for sunset. The tree's colors on the mountain are a patch work of reds, yellows, oranges and green. Great place for a romantic date or a business dinner.

Love this place when I'm in Ogden valley to ski. The updated, beautiful historic general store is now a modern and cozy dining space. Great spot to relax apre ski.

My only complaint is the rolls were really crunchy on the inside and outside, not the good kind of crunchy, more like they had been under a heat lamp for an hour. I ordered the Monday special which was a burger of choice, fries, and 4 wings. Burger was cooked well, tasted great, and the bun was perfect. The fries were the best I've ever had. They were crunchy on the outside and the flavor of them was awesome. I'd go back just to order a big plate of fries. I'm dreaming about then right now. My wife ordered a salad and she said it was good. The atmosphere was cool. It is very well decorated and the seats and tables are nice. They did a really good job in that area. Our total bill was about 25 bucks for my wife and I and that was for the the low end stuff. You can easily spend 20 to 25 bucks a person if you get an appetizer, steak, or dessert. Service was ok, nothing special. I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars if you could give half a star. I'll probably go back and try something else.

Not the type of place you get a craving for. More like the place you get bored of eating the food less than a 1/4 of the way through.

*One star for service and one for atmosphere* Was so excited about trying a new place for Easter brunch. The menu advertised looked fantastic. Arrived at the joint and loved the atmosphere and mellow live music. My fiance and I were seated and proceeded to the buffet brunch area....no eggs...advertised "made-to-order" omelets....nothing.....advertised shrimp and sushi....they ran out of shrimp! (if you're going to advertise brunch from 10AM-2PM, have enough food). Food that should be kept hot was room temp/cold. Food that should have been kept cold, like ceviche and salads, were room temp/warm! We paid over $80 for 2 people, what we got was worth, at most, $15. There was so much potential but they need to get their act together when it comes to brunch. We were given a $15 coupon (gee, thanks) so we are willing to give it another shot for lunch or dinner....

Love this place. Dine like an adult in a trendy atmosphere with reasonable prices. We have never been disappointed in our experience here. The food is always delicious. The short ribs are fantastic! Not a bunch of free range children running around like all of the big chains in the area. Great parking.

Similar to a good looking car that doesn't ride well. For Ogden the decor looks quiant and rustic. The food marginal at best. The bread that was served , after a few minutes was crusty and hard like it was microwaved or not fresh. Ate a few dinners, so it wasn't a one stop opinion. Just ok food on fancy flatware plus temperature Lukewarm. Lastly, server didn't know if ribs were beef or pork on their WEEKLY rib special. Nuff said

Don't go for Sunday brunch! I'm not sure whether to start with the overpriced bloody mary's ($8) or the 'buffet' style brunch. The buffet was made to order, but everything we ordered tasted bland and needed seasoning. Seconds were not ordered. The salad that was actually 'buffet' style was a selection of costco cookies, fruit, and a vegetable tray, etc. Oh, and at $20 a person it was nowhere near worth your time or money. can i give a 0 star rating?

One of the worst meals I've ever had! I ordered chicken my husband ordered prime rib. I could have done better at home with a microwave. No sear on the chicken. It was rubbery and tasted horrible! I only had one bite. No crust on my husband's prime rib and no au jus. Don't waste your time and money, go anywhere else. With so many great resturaunts in ogden, this one needs to move on and let one with real cooks take its place.

I stopped by for lunch for a business meeting at 1130 and the door was locked. They were supposed to open at 11, fortunately someone saw us and unlocked the doors. I visited this place several times at their old location in Eden and I'd have to say it's a different atmosphere. I had the nachos for lunch and they were really good, then ordered the club for the meal. The club was average. I wouldn't say great just average... I gave three stars because there was nothing special or great. It's a place that I would like to see on a weekend night to see what the ambience is like, but not a place I'd go out of my way for a meal.

First time diner during Ogden Restaurant Week. Cute place for dinner! The food was fresh. I loved the dessert (scare canyon snowball) and the caprese stack was tasty. I wasn't as enthralled with the fish tacos, but they weren't bad. I'm glad to have visited and felt that the servers did a lovely job despite being pretty slammed.

We had a friends birthday here a couple months ago and the service was miserable. It took 45min to get our drinks, the ribeye was small and over-cooked, two orders were completely wrong and no one was checking in on us even though the restaurant was empty. We also got charged double for drinks. Also, there were so many items crossed out on the menu and the prices on our bill did not match what was printed on the menu. Needless to say the hefty bill did not match up to the food or the service. They must have left the good stuff in Eden. I will not be returning and I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Well, they claim to serve oysters on half shell. There menu states: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. What it doesn't say: not at lunch time, nor when the customers are willing to shuck them their selfies. After waiting at the front door to be seated. 3 tables worth of guest, just waiting, to be seated. And then told by server: " no we are only serving them, tonight for the holiday". Good business practice of any restaurant, if it's on your menu, (unless not cooked yet).... Serve it. Sad to loose customers that eat out 6+ times a month. Decor, cheap. Servers unorganized. Dark. Maybe a second chance, but I would have to be hard up for a return visit here:(

Entree and service were fine. The rest needed work. Harley and Bucks is a restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The service was fine. Everyone at my table found their entrees to be good. A couple of people were quite complimentary of their entrees. My criticism lies with the appetizers and sides. They were sub par at full price. You pay the prices H&B charges (not unreasonable, but not bar and grill prices either) but get Denny's quality. My calamari (spears, not traditional) seemed to be out of a bag. They were not very good. I was really disappointed. My side salad had refrigerated tomatoes and Mexican blend cheese out of a bag. If they would dress it up with freshly shaved hard white cheese and not refrigerate the tomatoes, it would have felt like quality. Finally, I'm pretty sure the crouton in my French onion soup was just a piece of untoasted bread. It is the little things that make a great restaurant. That show the owner and chef really care. Harley & Bucks is close, but misses the mark.

This was a first visit for us. Despite all the other questionable reviews, we decided to give it a shot. We made reservations, showed up early, but they didn't have our reservation written down. A group of two informs of us on a walk-in was told it would be a 30min wait. We were asked to wait while they "adjusted tables". We sat and waited until 6:40 while other people were sat in front of us. There was a group of four guys who were waiting before us. They grumbled a few times about how long they had to wait. Ultimately we left for another restaurant after waiting 20min+. We are foodies who have been to many restaurants and I'm not sure we will make it back to this one.

Well here is my story. I set a reservation online for Valentine's Day. I called a few days later to confirm reservation. When we arrive on the 14th everything was fine. Except they "forgot" to tell us it was a set menu and that their usual menu wasn't available. Wouldn't be a problem except all but one was seafood and the group we were with don't do seafood. I was really looking forward to their food but instead had to leave and find somewhere else (we didnt). Ended up ruining the holiday. Thanks guys...

Food was decent (smoked prime rib - it was pretty darn good but the Au Jus could have had some more flavor), but the server (Tom) and overall customer service (Natalie) was fantastic. I'll be going back to try everything else on the menu!
