If you are a Carbavoire then this is your spot. The bread is so delicious with a plethora of samples. I seriously had about 6 full slices samples. Almost not enough room to eat my giant sandwich. The staff was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding their baking recipes. I was even offered a personal recipe from one of the staff members to help with my baking. The sandwiches are very tasty. Thats all i can say. Good stuff. I love to eat and this place is certainly somewhere that i will be visiting frequently.

The apricot bread (special of the day) was so warm, moist, and fresh. The workers were generous and chipper as well! This is my first time in Ogden, and I'm so glad I stumbled across this place.

Great harvest makes the best bread. They also make really good oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls I am particularly fond of their pumpkin and chocolate chip bread.

Rating this based off of one thing: The Raspberry scones! One of the most delicious breakfast/treat/pastry you can find. I bring these to work a lot, and every time my co-workers ask where they can buy these because they are their favorite. Wait till you can heat them up. Put them up in the microwave for 19 seconds and it's perfection.

THis place is so delicious. I wish I could eat here everyday. The bread is so wonderful. Great for lunch time. Sandwiches and soup are awesome. Service is great. The whole loaves of bread are a bit pricey, but worth the extra cost.

I know that some people really love this place, but I don't share their view. I mean, it's okay but not a five-star worthy establishment in my opinion. Maybe I don't like bread enough. Not a particularly wide selection of sandwich options and though my turkey club was decent, that's all it was. Staff was friendly enough. Just didn't dig it.

Samples of fresh bread with butter and honey. YUM! What a solid sandwich shop with a really funky atmosphere and incredible bread. I had the veggie sandwich, which had just the right mixture of flavors and veggies. Plus, it came with what were essentially healthy Doritoe guacamole chips (or that's what they looked and tasted like to me). Just a warning, I had a slice of free bread and could only make it through half my sandwich. You have the option of ordering a half or a whole. I'd go with the half unless you want to keep it for later!

mmm delicious bread! something about the smell of baking bread is just so intoxicating. walking down 25th street in ogden i cant help but pop into harvest bread for a slice of fresh baked bread with yummy home made butter ( only 50 cents a heaping slice of bread!) ill often get it with soup which is always amazing. its a pretty small space but if it is nice out you can sit outside. they also make their own granola and cookies and have baking kits too!

Definitely stop at Great Harvest wherever you find one! Ogden has a couple, Sugarhouse, Sandy and all the Farmer's Markets during the summer. Any bread you try you will love. The downtown Ogden location is lovely and has wi-fi. Only problem is it is closed on the Sabbath. I know, I should be used to that by now. Whatever you do, do NOT try the cinnamon rolls. Just thinking about them adds 5 pounds. Yum.

I've been in to this location twice in the past week. The store is decorated really cute! My only concerns are that the employees are not very friendly. They don't seem to want to help or answer questions. It might be because the girl working the counter didn't understand English very well? They did offer me a slice of bread, but after watching them handle dirty cash with their hands and then touch the bread I lost my appetite. Since when don't employees wash their hands after handling money? And why don't they use pick up tissues or gloves when they handle the bread that customers are going to eat? Yuck! I love GH bread but I'm leary of this location because of the way they handle their finished products.

I just wish I could bring their bread home. Seriously, it was really awesome bakery and the best. I was offered a free sample as I'm a true foreigner in town....what a generous cut! Almost enough for a breakfast! Butter and honey were nice touch. Tea was organic and price was only $2. Wow. This is what we are missing in many American cities, tue downtown feeling with small bakery shop to have a nice breakfast outdoor while enjoying a morning paper. I would come back there in a heartbeat.

I usually bake my own bread, but sometimes I run out of time. I'd never thought of going here until I needed something for a brunch meeting and just had no time to make it. What a great experience. I've been to other GHBC's in the past, so I thought I knew what to expect, but this location surpassed my expectations. The staff was cheerful and upbeat in spite of the fact the day was a scorcher (and the store was very hot) and they were slammed busy. The place is small, it was hot, and I really expected someone in line to be ornery under those conditions, but the clerk was a pro at making sure everyone felt like they were the most important person she'd waited on that day. Cordial greetings and generous samples keep everyone happy. The breads were quite good, but the scones I got were even better. I've since been back for lunch, and the veggie sandwich is delicious.

This place's delicious baking scents fill downtown in the morning. How can you NOT grab a gigantor slice of bread in the morning for .50 cents... Seriously.. cinnamon burst bread.. honey wheat.. ohm.nom. Even the soups and other meals they make. Delicious grains. Need I say more?

I usually go to the Great Harvest in North Ogden but I go to this one from time to time. I love their specialty breads and muffins! They only offer one type of muffin each day but I only eat one so it is nice to be forced to try new things. They have several different kind of desserts it is hard to choose just one.The people that work here are very friendly and I have noticed when they are hiring it says you have to love to sing and your will occasionally hear them break out in song. I have yet to try the sandwiches but they do offer them.

Great bakery items. Great place to grab a sandwich. It is also connected to a cool book store/toy store/kids store/art store. Great place to go.
