Good chinese food in ogden. I especially am a fan of the fried rice and pepper salt pork chops (although sometimes over salted). Id definitely recommend this place

Just ordered food from the dragon, I ordered the usual general tso's chicken and it was sweet and sour chicken, everytime I go into the dragon the chicken changes it never stays the same, this is the reason I rarely go there and I doubt I'll be going back thanks for the sick food

I came here recently and tried a bunch of different plates off their menu. I have no Idea what everyone is talking about but this was NOT good at all. Maybe I was spoiled with plenty of good Chinese food in Chicago but I came here with high hopes based on the reviews and ended up tossing out 40+ dollars of Chinese take out when I got home. If you actually know what Chinese food is supposed to taste like, much like how it does in San Fran or Chicago or New York, then do not go here.

i've been to hong kong a few times. this place is a gold mine! The vegetables are always crunchy and fresh. The food is freshly made and piping hot when served. The lunch special comes with your choice of soup and an eggroll. The dishes are never salty. Ambience is ok, but the food - taste and quality - excellent!!!

It's hard to find a good Chinese place; read the reviews on Yelp and decided to drive all the way from Layton to give it a try. We were not disappointed, I ordered a take out and the service was very fast. The food was very good, especially the fried rice. I think we have found our go to Chinese take out place!

My fiance and I were both hungry and thought lets take a look around online and see if we can find a good Chinese place to eat at. We read the reviews on yelp and noticed that there were quite a few 4 and 5 star reviews and a few 1 stars and thought why not and headed out to go eat there. The lunch special prices seemed reasonable ($5.50) so we ordered a dragon special (the special of the restaurant) as a lunch special. After delivering our soup the waitress stated that unfortunately they do not offer the dragon special as a lunch special only dinner even though it had a listed price for a lunch special on their specials menu. Not wanting to be fickle over a few dollars we said go ahead and give us the dinner special. When it arrived it looked just like the picture. Upon trying it however it was very bland with hardly any seasonings or sauce. We both tried a bite of everything and the only thing that was even remotely okay was the egg-roll. I have never sent anything back before and after conferring with my fiance we decided we would let the waitress know. When the waitress walked by again we politely informed her that everything was bland and we didn't like it and we wanted to send it back and either get something else or a refund even offering to pay for what we actually did eat (the egg-roll and the starting soup). She then said she would go get the cook and we explained the same thing to her when she arrived. They stated that we would have to pay for it because they "are just going to have to throw out just like us". Never once was an apology given for the inadequate food. We then asked for something else to which she said that we would have to pay for that item too and there was no exchanges. After debating about it for a few minutes with the rude cook/manager we agreed to just pay for it and leave. I will not be returning. The Scoop and Go fast food Chinese food tastes better than this. Save your money and go somewhere else. Poor food can be fixed poor customer service is inexcusable.

This place was awesome. I just had lunch. The spicy chicken and the hot and sour soup were fresh, hot, and delicious. Very inexpensive for the quality and speed. I'll be back for sure.

We've been to every Chinese Restaurant from Brigham city to Salt Lake and The Dragon has the best Chinese food! The hot and sour soup is magic. If anyone in the family is sick with a cold we place an order to go and within a few hours we're better. The won tons are amazing and the tangerine chicken is the right blend of heat/spice and flavor. Bit of a hole in the wall but the food is fantastic and the staff are always friendly, professional, and fast.

We came with a group of 20 for a family dinner and the service was great. Food was AMAZING and the dinner comes with enough on the plates to feed 2 people. I'll be enjoying our leftovers tomorrow. Egg drop soup was the best I've ever had and the wontons were delicious too.

The Dragon is by far my family's favorite Chinese is Ogden! The owners are really Chinese and they are very nice. The restaurant itself is quite old but they keep it clean. They offer your standard Chinese fare and the prices are good.

Good food, great prices, cute little restaurant. The service is beautiful and really makes this place special. The staff is just as nice as can be and very attentive. They knew right off that we were first timers and asked how we found them. We totally confounded the poor woman by telling her we read reviews on the internet. Overall, it was a really nice meal.

I am not a huge fan of chinese food, but this place is very good. We went in to order to go. It was ready within 15 minutes. The prices was very low and they were open to explaining more about the menu. I would definitely eat here again.

Enter the Dragon. (Note: I am actually eating leftovers while writing this review.) I maintain that no cuisine has suffered such a loss in translation as Chinese food. Perhaps, in the due course of their inevitably becoming our overlords, something resembling the actual food made in Chinese kitchens may become the norm. Until then, if you find yourself in Ogden and you desire the thirst inducing, two-day leftovering, bowel-clenching, corn starchy sheen of Americanized Chinese food, your best choice is The Dragon, located right at Five Points next to Ben Lomond Lanes. I don't think I've ever stayed in the restaurant to eat, but I've taken food away perhaps a dozen times. The regularity of my ordering is alarming and perhaps even diagnosable by both mental and medical health care practitioners. - Their Singapore style chow fun noodles tie the whole room together. - The Hot Braised Green Bean Minced Pork is found under "chef's suggestions" and has found a special place in my heart (adjacent to an arterial blockage). - Tangerine chicken. Yes, that's correct, of all the breaded fried glazed chicken nuggets from which to choose, it is the undisputed champ. Delectably loaded with bits of citrus rind, chiles, and the brilliant texture treasures that are fried wonton skins. *Always eat leftover TC cold.* The proprietors are really nice humans, and they now do dim sum on weekends. Also, there's a seasonal tax prep business located in a room just past the waiting/cash register area. For some reason, I love this.

So yummy and inexpensive!! I think the most expensive lunch is $5.50? And that comes with all the normal stuff... Entree, fried rice, soup and egg roll. So glad I found this place! AND they have lettuce wraps!!

This is the best Chinese I have had in a very long time. We usually get the house lo-main pon pon chicken and raspberry ice tea. Very yummy. And they are very nice people there.

I've been going here for a while now and they have some of the best chinese food in the area. Their seafood soup I sometimes go there just for that if I'm not feeling something too heavy. I would recommend their shrimp ball with black bean sauce and their house chow fun! So so good! The service is pretty prompt and the prices are not bad!

I've brought friends and family in from SF and Hawaii, and they loved it. I love everything I've had on the menu thus far.

Pretty decent Chinese food. Nothing spectacular but nothing awful. If you're craving Chinese a little better than panda express, this is a good choice in Ogden.

Our favorite place! We choose them over delivery 90% of the time. Staff is always friendly and food is always flavorful and fresh. Have and would recommend to anyone. Extremely clean and open on Sunday. *my daughter has a peanut allergy and they're always extremely cautious and considerate*

Gramps was in the mood for Chinese pork noodles so I loaded up Yelp and found a place in the area that had it on the menu. We went mid-afternoon so the place was pretty empty. The restaurant was clean and and the food was pretty good. While we were there, you could see the staff hand rolling the egg rolls. The menu is pretty extensive and can be found online. I'm guessing Grandpa will be wanting to come back to this place since pork noodles are one of his favorite foods.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
