Some of the best pizza in the valley! The owners treat you like family. Worth the drive every time!
We ordered pizza for Ken Garff Hyundai and it was awesome. The bread is soft and not greasy. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The prices are very reasonable and we plan on ordering Pizza from Marija's again.
The food was okay--nothing great. The staff was very nice, and the atmosphere was clean and simple. Worth a try if you live nearby.

Great food and huge proportions. Located in an industrial park just off Center St and 700 West in North Salt Lake.
Great breakfast place. Try the scones - very good
It looks like it going to be a bad place, but don't let that fool you. We have never hand anything bad there. We have only gone there for breakfast. Sometimes the service can be a little slow. Portions are good size.

Sunshine consistently cranks out great food from a small kitchen which is why there is often a line and wait, but service is excellent, servers are great. Sunshine is a total find for those of us who know why these places are worth the wait. So HEY... McGrumpy-heads Meg B and Jason H, your one-two star reviews are opposite the experiences we've had over 75 visits. Look around, this is a small restaurant and if you're not ready to order or your party is not there, I'd be rude to you too. You're slowing up the rest of us to get to the good stuff. And Meg... your mean server comment, snotty and middle age. Really? I think need a hug. The rest of know Sunshine is a gem.
Kicking breakfasts Sammies look awesome too but I can't escape the breakfast menu... Hot cakes eggs bacon and coffee under 10 bucks, ad an omelet and a pop for the grand and still be out for 25 +tip...
Great simple food. Delicious. Very amenable to adjustments to the menu. I wanted no cheese and they were able to accommodate. Kinda noisy but overall great atmosphere. Small. Get there early.

Excellent value choices if you do not want to spend too much money. Quality is superior to Del Taco in my opinion. Fresh ingredients, professional staff, and clean dining room. Could smell a bit of chlorine coming in, not over powering. Then I could smell food! :-) We like this location to others in Salt Lake County.
I LOVE TACO TIME!!!! I love this location I just have a whole lot of love in general!!! This location is awesome! They are super friendly and always fast. The inside is always clean and the condiment station is always full. I do go through the drive thru more often then going in and I can 100 percent say that It's the quickest Taco Time drive in I have been to. They so far have never messed up my order and I'm hoping that does not change :) I love me a crisp bean burrito. You seriously have to try one if you never have. Upgrade your tots to the stuff mexi fries. It will change your life!!!
Love this place! We can come here and eat for $10 and leave satisfied! I grew up with taco time in California when I was a kid but then they all closed up, I was really bummed. So when we moved to Utah and saw we had one less then a mile from our house I was happy! The food is just as good as I remember, thank goodness!

This is a great place to get a sandwich in NSL. They use fresh ingredients and everything is made from scratch. It can get pricey, 9 or 10 bucks for a half sandwich, chips, and drink. However their sandwiches are BIG and a half usually works for me.
Great sandwich! A little pricey for me (but I am pretty cheap... Haha.) service is always fantastic, lines get a little long around noon so try and go a little early. Oh man I almost forgot... The deviled eggs are AMAZING!!!!
Great sandwiches always fresh, nice people. A bit of an odd way of ordering if your not used to ordering on the note pad. I really like the kitchen sink, I wish they opened early for a breakfast sandwiches. Can get crowded at lunch time so go early.

I saw on Google that they claim it's closed. Not true!! They are putting in a drive thru. The food is good and the service is good as well. I will say a though I have enjoyed several dishes I wish I breakfast burritos had more of everything besides potato and mixing the eggs before placing on the grill would allow that beautiful yellow color and not that random mix of non mixed eggs. I have enjoyed the chimichanga and the enchiladas as well as the breakfast menu and my family had enjoyed much more. Fix the eggs and potato ration and u would be almost perfect!!
I love the family that runs this, they're happy and give good service. We work nearby, so we're there a few times a month. I stick with the texano burrito, which is good, and affordable. I haven't ventured very far in the menu, but the texano is a winner!
Meh. Not bad, but not great. "Traditional Mexican Food" in the sense that there is nothing exceptional about it. The only thing keeping the food from being too bland was the high amount of salt I could taste in the otherwise flavorless shredded beef. Salsa selection was weak, too. Usually you can make up for average Mexican food with some great salsa, but not here.

Best Burger

I decided to be cool and go local instead of going to Wendy's right beside it. Had their signature burger combo, and it was great. The mushrooms tasted great, and the burger was great too. Their fries were a bit over cooked, but nice size and crunch. Customer service through the drive-thru was nice and chill. Loved that they had the sign saying that your food gets made when you order it, so at least you know you'll wait a bit to get your "made-on-the-spot" burger. Thanks for the heads up. I liked that.
I have been coming here since I was in high school at Woods Cross High and it never disappointed. It is a family-run joint with excellent quality. I live in Arizona now but I never miss a chance to swing by when I'm in town. Get the Best Burger and have them add pastrami on it - it's money. Obviously you're in Utah, but the fry sauce here is better than your average mix :) I'd give it 5 stars, but the appearance and cleanliness could be better as well as their amount of beverage choices.
Been going here for years and always a great stop! Typically get the bacon cheeseburger combo. Really like the fries here and their fry sauce is delicious. They also have a really good chicken teriyaki sandwich. Ice cream cones and shakes are also good. Great local spot.

Papa John’s Pizza

North Salt Lake, 84054
Reviews:
I just finished my pizza. It was good but pretty standard for mid-grade chain pizza. I enjoy ordering double sauce, makes all the difference. However I still can't get the bad taste out my mouth. Not of the pizza mind you but the scenario I got pulled in to. The young gal that wrung me up for the pizza and 2 liter and then I asked her to add an extra 20oz diet pepsi. Which she did. And thanked me for coming in. But she didn't get the drinks for me. The fridge was right there, so I thought it was up to me to get the drinks. As I'm getting them a large older employee (possibly the mngr.) awkwardly stands in front of me. I beg his pardon and point out I'm getting my drinks. He checks the tag on my box and naturally only sees the original order, not the diet pepsi. He leads me to the register and tells me that they didn't bill me. I kept telling him it was a second purchase not on the tag (I declined a receipt, and the gal was then working in the back now). He's insistent I haven't been billed asks for the $1.60. I tell him, "sir, I promise I paid for this." He finally looks it up in the register, apologizes and sends me on my way. Long story short, in this day and age the smart move would be to risk the $1.60 he might have lost if I was a 30+ man desperate for an easy Pepsi fix, to save the customer satisfaction he loses if he is wrong. Me leaving in a grumpy mood was far more expensive. It takes reprogramming of the staff and leadership but it's worth it to help sales. Nice enough store but should reevaluate priorities. I hope this helps.
Not this location... Papa Johns can be hit and miss anywhere. My experience here was definitely a miss. Ordered a spinach alfredo and a chicken cordon bleu, normally some very good pizzas. But from the NSL location, I was very much underwhelmed. Very skimpy on toppings and sauce. Crust was closer to being burnt than just right. Cheese also seemed to be closer to burnt. A couple of those big bubbles in the pizza. Dough was paper thin. Not happy at all. I won't give it 1-star because there wasn't anything egregious or flagrant. But they were not good pizzas.
These guys are the best. About a year ago, I had been ordering from the Bountiful Domino's and they were just completely rude to me. So I checked out this place and sure enough, they are really nice, really quick, and just a great place. I like the online ordering process, quite literally can order a pizza and include the tip in less than 4 min. Even more, they once were backed up and got my order out about an hour late...they sent me a coupon for a free pizza! Could you ask for better service from a pizza joint? Love ya guys!

This place is the best Mexican food in north salt lake, bountiful, and woods cross. My go to at this place is the chicken fajitas. For $10.50 you get an insane amount of food. Enough for two people or just one really hungry me. And most importantly the food is delicious. This is no doubt my go to Mexican spot. The service is really great at this place as well. The place was closing early tonight because of a state holiday but they stayed open an extra ten minutes so I could get my food. Just really cool local folks. The price, service, and food are all five start. If you are in the area it's worth visiting. Great place.
Love local Mexican food with lots of cheese and sauce covering everything. My hubby likes the burrito wrapped in bacon. He thinks their horchata is some of the best he has ever had. I like to try new things every time I go. So far I've liked almost everything. Not a fan of kids meals.
This is our new favorite place! The food was awesome and the staff was amazing! I was hesitant to try it because it looks pretty tacky from the outside, but thanks to the great reviews on yelp we decided to give it a try. I want to make a quick note that for now the yelp map places it in the wrong location, the address is right, but the map apparently can't figure that out. The inside is also a bit lacking in atmosphere, but they quickly make up for it with their delicious fresh chips and salsa. The chips are made from scratch every day, and the salsa has a more fresh taste to it than what you normally get out of a saucy salsa. Or waitress who was also the owner was very delightful, nice to our 6 month old twins, and was having a lively conversation with my wife who speaks Spanish as well. My wife went simple with a taco combo, one carne asada and one chicken, i was very tempted to get their bacon wrapped and deep fried chimichanga (BACON WRAPPED! HAVE I DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN?) But my wife lovingly reminded me that I'm trying to avoid too many fried things, so I opted for the quesadilla trio which came with 2 quarters each of chicken, carne asada, and carnitas (my personal favorite). The portions were not outstanding, but still generous and certainly filling, and the presentation was typical. I'll say that I personally did not love the beans, though I did still like them, and my wife loved them, but even with the delicious hand made corn or flour tortillas the real star was the amazingly seasoned, moist and scrumtiously tender meats! The chicken and beef were just delicious, the seasonings were more like a fajita taste than the typical boring salt and pepper, and they were well cooked and very tender. Now for the carnitas... I am a huge fan of a good carnitas, I'm not talking cafe Rio sweet port (which I also love) but a good, juicy, fatty, classically seasoned slow roasted and then broiled to crispy perfection carnitas! These guys have it down PAT, it was all of the above and more, it both melted in your mouth and crunched in your teeth at the same time, and quickly won its place as my favorite carnitas no questions asked! I will be back again and again for this stuff, hopefully I can convince them to let me sub this in the bacon wrapped chimichanga next time... Overall I would say that Nacho House even with its witty name as side, has jumped up to my favorite Mexican restaurant in UT, don't get me wrong I've still got mad love for a certain colored iguana, and a particular solo constellation taqueria, but based on my experience today this little strip mall cantina has taken the cake!

Apollo Burger

590 E 1100 N
North Salt Lake, 84054
Reviews:
Had the Golden Burger, basically the pastrami hamburger on Texas toast. It was perfect. Well...could've used more fry sauce but that's a personal preference. Cost was $5.48 with tax, less than a Crown Burger. Pastrami was a lot more moist than a crown burger. Big sandwich. Didn't feel sick or sluggish afterward. I think the crown burger has a stronger seasoning of some kind...which gives it more of a signature flavor and it arguably tastes better on the first few bites, but then starts to be a little too much by the time you finish and there is an aftertaste. Apollo was more mild in that sense. Crown burger is good but it's a little overpowering if you eat it all by itself. So you need fries and a drink to balance it out. Apollo wasn't that way. Didn't try anything else, but the Golden Burger was very good. Maybe 4 or 4.5 stars but I'm rounding up because there wasn't any hype to this place and it over delivered, and perhaps there's been a management change since the older reviews which proclaim horror and misery.
I like Apollo Burger. I am not saying it's the best but it's alright. I usually come here and order the Junior Cheeseburger combo ($5). I appreciate the fact that they serve a very consistent charbroiled burger at such an inexpensive price. Good luck going to crown burger and paying the same. I would not compare this place to Crown Burger because each has their own take on the Pastrami burger and both are completely different in taste. I recommend that you come here when it's not lunch hour or dinner time to appreciate a decent burger. I lived in the midwest for a while and would crave charbroiled burgers. There were none of these type of burger joints in town. With that in mind - I would take Apollo any day of the week to satisfy my burger fix.
Hmmm...I have driven by several times and always thought about trying this place. It was jusf okay. Service was fine and the food was ehhhh....okay. I wouldn't be missing anything if I had just kept driving by. On a positive note, my daughter enjoyed thed corn dog and fries on the kids menu.
