Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Literally one of the most asinine experiences in a restaurant in Moab. The "servers" are bratty emo teenagers who are inexplicably rude and inconsiderate. A poor European family just got beaten down for not speaking exquisite English by a server. No wonder America is stereotyped as ignorant assholes. My husband had to get up four times to remind them we were there and were waiting for food. 55 minutes after we placed our order and after I finished my gluten free cardboard pizza the cheese sticks still hadn't arrived. Horrible evening. If you want a pleasant night out with good food DO NOT GO HERE. You'll have a better time at the gas station next door.

The first time ordering, our order came incomplete with only a receipt to sign; no credit card slip. Was assured they would cover the cost of the missed items, which they delivered later. LIED Tonight, I placed an order at 530, it is now 700 and no delivery. No one is answering the phone, yet my credit card has already been charged. A HORRIBLY RAN ESTABLISHMENT!!!?

Horrible service, rude staff, long waits. This is the worst pizza hut I've ever been to. The only positive is you wont want to shell out a tip to the wait staff.

It's as if the employees didn't even TRY!! I ordered online, and thought what I ordered was not complicated in any way...the driver showed up (nothing against him, he was very kind), and after he leaves I realized my 2L soda has been forgotten and also one entire topping from my pizza has been omitted. Not to mention I ordered a large and it did was the saddest looking pizza ever. I will be supporting Paradox Pizza and other local businesses who offer quality in the future. I will never be back here.

Terrible service. I called about 10 times to place an order and no one answered. I finally order online. I went to pick it up and the employees have decided to close the doors an hour early. After banging on the doors to get the employees attention, they mentioned that they had to close their doors early because of a "dough shortage". I would suggest firing their manager because I am pretty sure this was her idea.

Excellent if you like cardboard pizza. The two young gals helping out at the counter and seating guests need a lot more training and oversight. We were desperate so we got what we got.

I felt compelled to write a review after viewing all the negative comments here. We were out of towners looking for a warm meal after a long hike to the delicate arch. We left feeling full and happy. Is this the best pizza we've had? Not by a long shot. But is this one of the best pizza huts we've been to? Yes! Both the service and food were excellent, by the standards of fast food.

About once every couple of years I get talked into going to Pizza Hut by my kids or grandkids. From now on I will definately decline. The waitress (Mary)saw us come in, made eye contact and smiled and then proceeded to go get the carpet sweeper and clean, then arrange silverware on the tables, then stop to chat with one of the three tables that were there, then walk over and adjust the shades, then put the carpet sweeper away, THEN come seat us while exclaiming "I didn't see you come in and I am sooooo busy" She didn't bring any menus but walked up to the table with her pad open and asked us what we wanted. I told her a menu would be nice, and she actually rolled her eyes at me and once again told me how busy she was and pointed out that we weren't the only ones in the place. Yes, Mary, I knew that, but we are your fourth table, you really weren't THAT busy. It was then that I noticed there were two other servers on staff. Once she grumpily took our order, she brought drinks and plopped them on the table, not even trying to put on an air of service. She brought the wings about 15 minutes later and asked if we needed anything. I told her yes, we could use some napkins, which got me another eye roll and when she brought them, she sort of chucked them on the table and walked off. After bringing the pizza we never saw her again. I had to get silverware from another table, and we never got a refill on drinks and no water. There is also no music in the place, but you can pay for internet juke box which cost $1 per song and the speakers are so bad you cannot hear the music. There are two other really good pizza places in town. There is NO reason to get a greasy, crappy pizza AND be treated rudely at Pizza Hut. The sad thing is, I believe Mary is the manager or assistant manager. As a long time Moab resident I warn you off this place. Try Paradox Pizza or Zax. FAR better food than Pizza Hut and you will definately get better service.

We just arrived home last night (San Francisco bay area) after a 3,400 mile motorcycle trip that included the Moab area. We left Colorado Springs this past Sunday morning after participating in Saturday's annual Fallen Firefighter ceremony at the National Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs. We expected to stay Sunday night in Moab. After a long day of riding, it became apparent that no hotel rooms were available in or near Moab. We found a place along the Colorado River about 10 miles out of town that we could park the motorcycles and bed down for the night (without camping gear). Pizza for dinner after a long day seemed a great idea. Bikes were parked, "camp" setup and stomachs growling. We had very limited cell service, but managed to get a phone call to Betty at Pizza Hut. She was amazingly helpful and patient with the five or six dropped calls as I tried to get her the pizza order and delivery location. Betty comfirmed that they would deliver us pizza to our camp miles up Highway 128. The delivery arrived 45 minutes later as promised just as we were getting ready to reenact the Donner Party! Thank you Betty and the rest of the crew - you were awesome!!!

We had a terrible experience at this Pizza Hut. Went there after hiking up to Delicate Arch and back with 7 and 8 year old kids. They were starving and were excited to get pizza. We went in and it took 20 forever to get our order and drinks. We had to go find the waitress to get refills several times because it took almost 2 hours for our food to come out. When I finally asked what was happening with the food because my kids were starving they caught an attitude about it. The food quality was usual pizza hut stuff but the order was wrong. We didn't send it back because the kids were going to eat the left over from the abandon non-bused table next to us I didn't feed them at that point. We did get comped a couple drinks for the wait but honestly I will never ever ever ever go back to this Pizza Hut. I hope the National HQ checks out this location one day.. The reviews on google places were terrible also.

After a long day of touring the Canyonlands N.P., we were in a mood to have Pizza. We thought Pizza Hut would be good. We ordered a Large Supreme Pizza with thin crust. The crust was baked hard like bricks. When dropped on the plates they made a ringing sound (yes it was that hard). Service was decent. Pizza arrived a little later than the 15 minutes promised.

Ya know how some places just run by default THIS is a prime example of the same You don't keep people waiting for their order 45 minutes after ordering because you would much rather deal with the phone-in's first. Also you don't come back and tell 'em we ran out of food at that point in space & time. And when you finally serve 'em whatever was left in your kitchen you don't bring out something totally different from what was promised to them It'll be a long time before I forgive myself for venturing into this dump after a fun filled day of off-roading

This is a restaurant style Pizza Hut. The service in this place is lax. I placed a to-go order which came very fast. The reason I wouldn't recommend this place is from what I could tell this place is very dirty and run down. They don't keep the kitchen and front counter clean/presentable. This includes a bin on the floor where they keep dishes(possible health code violation).

It's a plain ol' Pizza Hut, near the camping sites of Moab in Utah. Old style, like from the '70s, and great atmosphere. Not more I can say..

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
