Just an average sandwich place. Very very fast delivery service. If you decide to order something make sure you try the Salt and Vinegar chips or Jalapeno chips. OMG yummy but very salty so drink lots of water. As far as the sandwiches themselves, they are very average but it is better than most fast food like service. IMO.

Disappointing to say the least. Delivery is a joke. You're telling me it takes over an hour to deliver two sandwiches to a house only 1/4 of a mile from your location? After 45 minutes I finally called and was told the driver left 25 minutes prior and our stop was supposedly first on his list... so what was your employee doing all that time if not dropping off orders? On to the food. The fact that I would actually prefer subway sandwiches over the food at this place should tell you everything you need to know. The bread is rubbery and flavorless, veggies and toppings were sparse. You would think that ordering a veggie sandwich you would actually receive some veggies, but nope, not at this place. I got maybe 2 tomato slices and 3 cucumber slices and the avocado spread was no where to be seen. What a let down. First and last time I'll ever be getting food from this place.

5 days in a row! I'm hooked... They aren't kidding about how fast they deliver. Keep up the good work. Il be back sooner than later.

If Subway and a New York Deli had a baby, they would have a son named Jimmy John. The bread, the meat, and the cheese are all top quality. The Italian Nightclub is great and the J.J. Gargantuan is a sandwich made for Hercules. The quick service and freaky fast delivery make this chain a cut above the rest.

If you're looking for a bland, uninspsired and completely non-unique sandwich, then Jimmy John's is the place for you. Every sandwich I've tried there has been the same: A Mayo-bomb on an enriched Wonder Bread bun.

I think that they're great for a fast food place. Lightning quick, great suggestions, and the employees are generally so happy the seem like they might break out in song and dance at any second

Fresh and good food, ridiculously fast service, and a good value. Summary: the best $5 sandwich around. Location: a little hidden but convenient, just west of Bucca di Beppo on the northeast corner of 9th and Fort Union. The Bread: Having spent a couple years in France, I appreciate a good baguette. And while Jimmy John's bread isn't the greatest thing I've ever had in my life, it's a delicious baguette-style white bread that far exceeds anything I've had from Subway or the like. The Sandwich: You can get a $4.25 or a $5.25 sandwich. I got the larger ($5.25) one and was thoroughly satisfied. Good meat, good cheese, good fresh veggies, and good seasonings. The Service: Holy smokes. They hadn't finished running my credit card yet and one of the cooks was handing me my sandwich. "Freaky fast" is right! That makes a huge difference for me when I need to grab a quick lunch and get back to work. Extras: I didn't see all they had, but the cookies are ok. Nothing to brag about, but a decent fix for your sweet tooth. Fountain drinks are Coke products. Bottom line: don't expect an out-of-this-world-great experience (like some people make Jimmy John's out to be), and you'll be delighted. I'm sure you won't regret trying out Jimmy John's, and if you're like me, you'll definitely be going back. I'm giving it 5 stars not because it's the best sandwich I've ever tasted, but because it IS the best bang-for-your-buck sandwich I've found in the Sandy / Midvale area.

Jimmy John's offers submarine style sandwiches prepared quickly and served fast. They are one of the few places beyond standard fast food that you can be in-and-out of in 5 minutes. They make the sandwiches FAST! We order from Jimmy John's sometimes for work and I've enjoyed their sandwiches. If ordering out they have box lunches with chips and a cookie which are a good value. I also like that they deliver.

Jimmy John's (or JJ's, as I refer to it) is the best sandwich shop in Utah. The best things about JJ's: 1. They live up to the "So fast, you'll freak!" motto. My sandwich is usually made and ready to go by the time I've finished paying. 2. The bread. I don't know if they put crack in that bread or what, but it's. So. Good. It's french bread, I think. I should also note that the salt & vinegar chips are the best I've ever had. 3. The prices are good. The sandwiches are 8", so it's a little more expensive than say, Subway. Oh yeah, also because it's BETTER. 4. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. Any time I've taken someone new to JJ's, the staff is happy to explain the menu highlights. I went to JJ's all the time in Cincinnati, so I was happy to see that they expanded to Utah. The things I've listed above have been true both in Ohio and Utah. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I have been to Jimmy John's several times in the past and have always been impressed with their speed and the quality of the food. You get a great sandwich for a good price faster than you can get a meal anywhere else. This particular visit I was especially impressed with the staff there. I was in on a Saturday at lunch time. It was particularly busy but there was a bit of a rush when I came in. I watched as everyone else who ordered received their sandwich and then as the crew started to clean and catch their breath for the next rush. I asked if perhaps my sandwich had fallen through the cracks somewhere and without hesitation they started making one for me. I don't know if it got forgotten or picked up by someone else or what happened but they didn't care, they just dealt with it, fast. Perhaps the most impressive and meaningful part of the whole business was that every single person behind that counter apologized to me personally. I'm not kidding, every one of them. The shift manager offered me a cookie for the inconvenience which I declined. I was delighted that everyone was so friendly and eager to correct the mistake to ensure I was taken care of. Even with the mix-up, I was still in and out of there faster than I would have been anywhere else. I was very impressed with the crew here and the service they provided. This particular location is a bit out of my way but I will be sure to make a point to return to this location again.

I would strongly suggest ordering #7-#17 don't go with the 1-6 unless you want a small subway style sandwich. Also the wheat bread is great!

Today I went in thinking I'd probably grab a sandwich and a drink, the craving just barely edged out a volcano nachos & baja blast from taco bell; I was greeted with a special treatment by the manager who told all his staff they needed to remember who I was because he sees me come in almost every day he works. He called me their best customer (not "you're our best customer" but to the staff after pointing out I usually go for 2 sandwiches: "this is your best customer.") I hadn't been in for a while due to being very busy, so being remembered from my prior frequent patronage was unexpected. I viewed it as mainly a management strategy to reinforce their customer focused ideals. He said my sandwiches would be on him today. This showed me that it wasn't one specific manager driving their ship with this outward focus but a core part of the Jimmy John's recipe. I have to say I wasn't surprised all in all by this treatment. I was already a loyal JJs enthusiast for the reasons driving this event. There's no bigger mistake a business can make than missing the opportunity to over-acknowledge & appreciate a very loyal customer.

Just a so-so sandwich, but they deliver and when I'm super busy at work, it's great. Sandwiches consistent, good bread, love the BBQ chips. When you order online you have the option of customizing the sandwich and also requesting mustard and/or mayo packets. The should take the condiment option off the website since I never get them. How hard is it to remember them?

Service with a smile. They have the magic of happy service. Reminded me of Amy's Ice Cream in Austin, TX. That right blend of hip and happy. Good job, guys.

Fast sandwiches made on a soft french roll. I usually order turkey and avocado which is balanced and has a good ratio of fillings.

Jimmy John's will not deliver to my house so I thought I would go to the Midvale location. I ordered a slim tuna fish and wanted to add lettuce and the guy said no.... That changes it to a sub ( higher price with all the add ons)...I just wanted a small amount of lettuce. Employees that follow rules to a T need to realize customers will go elsewhere. Like me!

I debated 1 vs 2 stars for this place. I have had better subs at Subway. These subs are just bland in my opinion. It is meat, some have cheese, and maybe lettuce. There are much better soup and sandwich shops in the community. I have actually dreamed about sandwiches ... true confession ... but Jimmy John's is not that sandwich. My main problem with this Midvale location is that they will not deliver on the west side of State Street. I get having limits on delivery areas, but Midvale is not that big of a city and they will not deliver to the west side, an extra minute out of their way. So not only was this place surprisingly bland, it was overwhelmingly not customer service friendly. West side Midvale, there is a Subway much closer than this joint by the Winco. Go there and get a sandy with as many veggies as your heart desires.

Is it full of flavor and completely craveworthy? Nah. Is it super cheap and an incredible value? Nope. Is it right there in Midvale and sometimes convenient? Ding-ding-ding. So truth be told, I actually prefer it pretty heavily over some of the other chain sandwich shops. And when I'm in the mood for a chain sub shop (usually the convenience mood, as it was picked up today during a "work on the house" Saturday) then I like grabbing a handheld lunch. But I'm in that mood less and less these days. Still, this place is pretty convenient not far from the Union Park exit of I-215. There are other sandwich shops around, but you'll know exactly what you're getting when you step into this JJs.

09.02.10 first delivery ever for me can it get any better than, "i'm really hungry, still in my pjs because i'm sick, and don't want to go out to get anything...jimmy john's delivery!!!" they're like a great relationship that just gets better and better the more you get to know them. thanks for making the first college football game of the season so delicious!
