Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

Being close to work this Jamba Juice location is a frequent stop when I need a pick-me-up or want a cool treat. I've been a fan of Jamba Juice for many years and they just keep getting better. I really love their new All Fruit Smoothies! These new smoothies are all fruit, with no added juice or ice cream and seem healthier than some of their others. Jamba Juice = Yummy!

This place is my primary smoothie location, since they are located at convenience spot that I passed by on weekdays. I especially enjoy their protein shakes after my gym days, since the fruit taste overpowers that strong bad after-taste from the protein powders. Usually I replace a meal with the shake to balance out the fruit sugar intake. The place seems clean enough on regular basis. Service depends on the time you visit, directly proportional to how busy they are... Overall, I would pick their protein shake over the generic ones I get from local gyms.

This place is a classic! I would go here all the time when they first opened. So now when I get a Jamba, it's both a nice little treat and a trip down memory lane. I'm impressed they have been around so long with minimal changes. Better than a Slurpee and healthier than ice cream! My favorite flavor is Carribean Passion.

I love Jamba Juice, but this location is a joke! The only reason I went there was because I was starving and thought it would be fast. I mean I make smoothies every morning and it takes me 1-2 min tops! Well nobody there knew what they were doing. My acai bowl took over 20 min after I ordered, I didn't see anyone making it forever and that was even after there was no one ahead of me! I mean how long does it take to make an acai bowl? Just make a smoothie mix and throw on banana, granola, berries?!? How hard is that. Oh and there were 6 people working. None of which were doing anything! I think there should be a warning that if you get an acai bowl it will take a LONG time (over 20 min)! People behind me got their smoothie before me, if I would have known that I would have gotten a smoothie.

It's Jamba. You've been to one, you've been to most. It's pretty standard and a good place to go with people because nobody hates smoothies, and unlike going to the not-so-on-the-ball Starbucks around the corner, there is no religion that discourages the consumption of fruit and ice. Since my office is a quick walk from Jamba, we have a tradition of having a "Thirsty Thursday" here every week for our sales team. The staff is patient and considerate, and I can definitely say that unlike my not-so-trusty Starbucks around the corner, I've never had an order or group order have any mess ups from here. The oatmeal is also really on point here and I love the texture of a good steel-cut oatmeal bowl, and you can choose your toppings for it as well. If you want any of the pastry type of foods, I definitely suggest the cheddar tomato twist toasted because it's pretty amazing.

Great location and for some reason there is always good people watching. I think Jamba Corp needs to do a better job of unfucking the menu. It has become a jumbled mess of bullshit. You don't have to Starbucks the juice world. Chipotle is a great example of keeping it simple.

I'm here at jamba, 25 minutes after I walked in the door. There were 6 people ahead of me in line when I walked in. I just barely ordered, 25 minutes later. I asked them to open another register...it is broken. Once I ordered and was ready to pay, I handed her a $50 bill, which she wouldn't accept. I then gave her a credit card. The last time I checked, a $50 bill is pure cash. Nothing better. And they won't accept it? I freaking hate this location. It has always been poorly managed and a nightmare to frequent. My order just came up. 33 minutes later. What a joke. This location is the worst.

I contacted Jamba Juice on their website and shared with them my opinion about this location. I specifically mentioned that the music is always too loud and that they don't fill my drink to the brim. The responded by letter and stated that they would make immediate changes. They also provided me with a gift card good for one free drink. I went back and it was much better. The music was low and the staff seemed like they were more sharp. They gave me a full drink and as usual, it tasted GREAT.

This location was one of the first. We still call it Zuka. Been going here for years. Consistency is an issue but never so much so that we've never gone back (please excuse the double negative). Went here this morning. Got the same three flavors we always get. Runny as hell, all were filled about 1" or more from the top. Flavor was good but really concentrated. The manager was super animated and cordial. It was a bit over the top but whatever. He was saying something to the customer before me about Jamba not marketing chocolate smoothies to children and carcinogens. The customer said something like, "What? There are carcinogens in your smoothies?" He responded along the lines of chocolate=carcinogens but no, we don't put carcinogens in our smoothies, we're a health food store. We were both confused. I was with my 10-year-old. She has a science fair project due Wednesday and we are swabbing six different objects and culturing the bacterial to determine which object has the most germs. Money is one of the items and I asked the manager who had blended our smoothies to take my sterile swab and really dig it in between the bills in his till so we could swab that onto the petri dish in my daughter's hand. He responded that he wasn't allowed to open the till on request. I retorted that as a manager, certainly he had discretion and that it was unlikely a ruse to rob him as I was with my 10-year-old, had just used my reward points for a $3 credit and had paid with my credit card. We were the only ones in the store at that point. He honored my request in a begrudging, half-assed effort. We repeated the exercise elsewhere as I doubt his effort would have amounted to anything at all. Even my daughter was annoyed. Perhaps I was the one that was way out there. The whole experience made me wish I had gone to the Sandy or Draper location. The guy was odd and it all felt a little "off." I dunno...

I bought 2 jamba's today and they were medium sized drinks and they were filled up about 80% of the way, I asked the guy at the register and he didn't seem to think anything was wrong. If I'm going to pay almost $6 for a drink I would like it full. Not happy.

WORST JAMBA JUICE LOCATION EVER! Every time I come here and ask for the secret menu I get told its secret so I can't see it but I can go online... EVERY and I mean EVERY Jamba Juice I've been to in both Utah county and salt lake county provide me a laminated secret menu when I ask. The employees at this location are down right obnoxious and rude and his is the 3rd time this location did this hence why I'm writing this review

I've been going to jamba juice for a very long time. They've raised the prices and their service it terrible. 5 employees were working when we went, there were a lot of people waiting and only 2 making the smoothies. So it was a little frustrating.

Normally, I have a good experience at Jamba Juice, but tonight I am seething. I took my son for a smoothie, and we got in line to order. We were 3rd in line. Suddenly a dance troop of teen girls, about 20, came in the store and stood at the back trying to decide what to order. A store employee, a teenager whose name rhymes with Boy, comes up to the front to open a new register. He looks directly at my son and I, but doesn't greet us or beckon us forward. I figured he needed to do something to unlock the register, so I waited until we got to the front of our line and ordered. All of a sudden a bunch of teen dancers approached the counter, having decided what to order, and "Boy" was Johnny on the spot, calling them over to his now open register. I realized that he deliberately withheld serving us because he didn't want to risk the chance that the pretty girls would queue in the other line. Very irritating. When our order came up, the girl pushed my Acai bowl over to me, but made no effort to serve my son. She seemed unaware that the order contained two items. Disorganized and poorly trained. Come on Jamba, you are better than this.

I've been here a few times out of convenience and only was happy with my service once. The first visit was fast, as it should be since there was no one in there at almost 10pm. Second and third visit were busier, but lacked the polite, energetic service Jamba Juice is supposed to give. (I know, I worked there for 3 years) My smoothies were a little watery instead of making them thicker like I had asked since it wasn't so great during the previous visit. I would come here again only if I was craving it, but otherwise, I'll be buying my blender during the next road show and getting my ingredients to match the old school recipes drilled in my brain.

Jamba Juice is delicious, always fresh with the perfect consistency (not just ice). My favorites are Aloha Pineapple, White Gummy and Pink Star. The Midvale location stopped serving the Tomato bread twist which was my favorite.

Service was horrible. I got a nasty smoothly and they wouldn't remake it. It's 6$. Come on. They had to look up my order and know exactly how much and when and what was on the order. Then couldn't find it. Normally I like the mango mantra. But not worth the staff there.

came in to get an orange dream machine because i know ive got some points i could use for a deal. i stood there at the counter for probably two minutes while 3 workers just chatted like i wasnt there... then when i order i tell her i have a rewards thing and she says the thing is down on her register but it works on the other one.... yet she wouldnt ring me up on the other one when it would have saved me like 3 bucks.... annoying. then the phone was ringing and no one even answered it and the one girl that took my order says she hears it all the time....

Confession time: I loves me a good Jamba Juice. Yes, there or more unique and interesting, even exotic places to get a quick, cool sip. But it's hard to stray from the semi-liquid fruity goodness that Jamba serves up. This location is in the Family Centre on Fort Union and Union Park, up above in the Wal-Mart/Bed Bath & Beyond section of the shopping center. Plenty o parking, etc. As a note to myself, I like the Caribbean Passion flavor. I always forget what to order and half the time end up ordering something that's good but not my fave. Now I can just check this review and read what I like. See? Yelp is useful to others AND to yourself! Clean store, nice employees. Annoying that they started offering "boosts" a few years ago. What in the high huggity ho is a boost? Don't be treading on my fruit smoothie with powders and ground up weeds! This falls more under the category of "side note" than "complaint," because it's easy enough to just say no to the boost offer. The probably sell other things besides smoothies, but I have no idea. I'm there for one reason: pure, unadulterated, un-boosted smoothies.

I have been going to Jamba Juice for years, it is a favorite for me for my afternoon sweet tooth. I have notice that lately the music is much better and the staff is always smiling and greet you when you enter. A friend brought me one today...good surprise. Thanks Randy at Zoomlossmitigation.

while I like jamba juice as a franchise, this is the worst location I've been to. a labrythine traffic jam to get to thanks to, and within the store, the ambient music is up so loud, I had to keep repeating, nearly yelling, so they could get my name and order.

Just like any Jamba Juice, they offer some of the best Smoothies around. The associates here are top notch and I love call in my small order and drive in and out. This place is great for breakfast and offers granola bars and oatmeal for breakfast. My favorite Smoothie is called the Orange Dream Machine. its a creamy Orange concoction!

My husband & I live right down the street from this Jamba Juice but have only been here a couple times. The smoothies are always made perfectly, and the last time they made the wrong drink by accident and let us keep both. Knocked off a few stars because the last time we went there the female worker had her boyfriend in the back with her and seemed to be having an argument with him. She did not crack a smile once, even with customers there, and she was not helpful to the other employees at all in making our drinks. Not a good look, especially for Jamba Juice who is known for their upbeat high-spirited workers.
