Wasn't impressed with this restaurant. No host/hostess to guide traffic. Had to wait for seating and no one came to help us. The selections were horrid because they couldn't replenish fast enough. The restaurant was overly full and the associates kept letting people in and there were no seatings available. I wouldn't eat here again. This restaurant needs to re-evaluate their seating policy and crowd control.

This place is ok. Pricing is good. Food is decent. They have a nice salad bar. Not as much variety as you should expect after all this is a buffet. Adequate number of desert choices. They have cotton candy and a white chocolate fountain.

Have always loved golden corral. The "server" was great she was constantly picking up our dishes and asking if we needed a refill on our drinks. Only think i wasn't happy about was the fajita chicken, the seasoning was good but the chicken was a little chewy.

It is what it is. The 4 stars comes from getting to the buffet 4 minutes before it closed, but still getting great service and smiling employees. The food is pretty good. I'm sure if we came during regular hours, we could had fresh steaks done to order, and pretty much everything hot a fresh. Instead we just had stuff hot, but not fresh. Still, you can't beat soft serve chocolate ice cream cones at the end of the meal.

I am on the road 45 out of 52 weeks a year and go to Golden Corrals at least 3 times a week to get a meal to go, usually a salad and meats since I'm usually on a low carb diet. I can honestly say that this is by far the worst Golden Corral that I have visited. So what I am saying is in comparison to all the other Golden Corral's that I have experienced across the country. Very, very limited selection, poor presentation (very often the item is down to the last 20%), and tasteless food. At the other GCs, I usually get a salad and steak. The two times that I got a steak here, it was full of fat and grissle. I have seen it before they cook it, and it is obvious that they buy very inferior cuts of beef. I am not expecting an Outback steak, but this is by far the worst cuts of beef that I have ever tried. I still go there just for a salad and hoping things will improve. Going on 4 months, I have been there probably 50 times now. I would never eat in and pay full price.at this place.

the dessert bar is its best feature. That said nothing besides the cheddar biscuits were any good. In fact I got home and vomited up my dinner. I then felt brtter . This has never happened to me and I really didn't eat too much. Go to Chuckarama much better food.

This place was an absolute zoo on Thanksgiving. I have to give them props on holding it together, though. They seemed amply prepared as a line going out the door was only about a 30 minute wait and the service was never once lacking despite the hordes of useless eaters. None of the food items ever ran dry and most of it was better than average buffet food.

I've been here about 5 times in the last 2 months and everything has been excellent. Cleanliness, food freshness, service, and variety have impressed me each time.

I visited recently while visiting my son and, frankly, not much had changed since the last time I was here. Is this a good or bad thing? I'm not super picky about the food I eat and since I typically have a few kids in tow, eating at a buffet with tons of variety is usually a good option. This location was relatively clean by family buffet standards and the food had pretty good flavors. My only gripes were that the cheese sauce for the broccoli/baked potato was dried with a gross film on top, and although I think the steak bar is a good option, the cuts of meat were pretty damned fatty - almost to the point of being inedible. Decent food at a great price. I was able to feed 3 kids and 7 adults for less than $100 (that's not gonna happen in Honolulu).

Food is good like most Golden Corrals. We went to this specific location because I had bought a groupon, which they didn't want to honor what it said on it. The reason why I give them 3 stars, is because of their bad costumer service and very stinky restrooms which are very close to the dining area and you can smell very strong sewer smell.

This Golden Corral is one of the worst ever. The staff were very rude. The food was not hot and it looked OLD. I was there for more then an hour and the same food when I came in was still there. The people up front don't pay attention to you, they are on there phones or making fun of the customers. I had to wait more then 15 mins for my new drink. The waitress seemed to not like her job and was very rude. I would never come back and waste my money on this place again. There are better buffets out there with more food and friendlier people.

great service, great food. The meatloaf was really tasty, so was the volcano cake. There was a man going around to tables making balloon swords and poodles for kids. Definitely will be returning!

I went there for the weekend breakfast buffet. This place was too congested and tables were very close to each other. The juice was really bland and tested like some cheap flavored stuff. It wasn't even cold and I couldn't find the ice dispenser anywhere. I had to wait around 10 mins before the cook making the omelettes were ready to take my order. The bacon and French toast tasted good but they were cold. I saw our waitress only once.Overall I'm disappointed with this place and I will most likely not go there again.

If you enjoy "porking up" this place may be for you. It is not for me. My dining partner and I had never been to the Golden Corral. Enticed by the advertisements on TV, we decided to give it a try. Tonight, we wanted value for our money and the choice was here or Chuck-a-Rama. We were greeted by young students from a local high school doing a fund raising activity that wanted to take our beverage order. Okay. Then we were met by the cashier who had us prepay fro our meal similar to that other buffet restaurant. No problem with the exception that we were charged extra for the beverage. Then we were asked if we wanted to add a "Tip" onto the bill for our server? I really don't care to prepay a TIP. The mood was set. So we sat down, got our bearings and then grazed through the unattractive display of food selections. We choose to first try the entrée (main course) area. I had heard about the steaks and thought, great, give it a try. To be fair, the already cooked pieces of meat were well done. I could come back later for a medium prepared piece. All in all the meat was favorable but it had been marinated in some rather hot sauce and the meat was full of fat. The pieces of meat were all on the fatty side, the pork, etc. The exception was the chicken. We ate and returned for a second try of things. My dining partner was staring at his second plate in disgust and barley had another taste. He later told me that this was the worst meal he had ever experienced. The "other" buffet place has nothing to fear with Golden Corral. The food preparation at the corral was barely okay, the display haphazard and unappetizing and overall quality and section poor. Enough to say I am sorry we tried the place. We would prefer to spend double what we did and the corral and have a much better dining experience elsewhere. I was trying to give this place no stars but the system would not allow it. So now you know my real opinion

I thought that golden corral in midvale would be better than orem but no better. The food tasted old and stale. Orems store didnt smell good . There is a bad odor where the entrance to the kitchen area. I have not been back since. Very disappointed with both midvale and orem locations. Golden corrals these 2 locations, there you have it, quantity not quality.

I really wanted to give more stars. Really, I did. But my conscious can't live with it. If someone were to approach me on the street and say, "Hey--you're the guy who gave (4? 5?) stars to Golden Corral, right?" I just wouldn't feel right. But those are three enthusiastic stars up there. If you want a solid AYCE buffet experience in a convenient location, then this is your bread and butter. This location, just off of 7200 South near 700 East, is pretty convenient there in the middle of the valley. It's relatively clean, it's well-staffed by people who don't especially care to be there, but with a few who really take the job seriously, and it's got plenty of parking and seating. The food? Well, it's buffet food. Some winners (Bourbon St. Chicken, yam casserole), some losers (a few of the wing varieties right now for "Wing Fest," mac and cheese), a few surprises (chocolate fountain, cotton candy, scoop ice cream), and some perennial favorites (cut meats, soft serve ice cream). That's the whole point--there's something there for everyone. Everyone can get something that they like. If you add a beverage it's an additional $2, but they're pretty swift on the refills. Don't fill up on drinks, though. That's how they getcha. Also, a quick word about meal planning: Don't come here on holidays. Or busy times. Or times when it might be packed with kids (graduation day, family events), unless you like things messy. Kids tend to go bucknutty at buffets and the ice cream and chocolate fountain will be a mess. It will be extremely loud, and you'll be tripping over running kids if you're not careful. For families, that means you'll be right at home. But if you want to avoid that, know before you go.

Sorry Golden Corral.... I dont remember this place having junk food. Sorry for being brutaly honest!!! I have not eaten at a Golden Corral for many years and I fondly remember the bread. The bread was OK. The food, I can't even remember any of it. I am a dessert person and I was so let down. They were all frozen desserts that probably was on sale at the local grocery market half price. Regardless if the price is right for all you can eat. The food was AWFUL..

This is probably the best American buffet I've been too. I usually always went Hometown Buffet. The servers were attentive. The salad bar was awesome. So many options! I wish we had this where I live. The hot food was great. They also have a station where they cook what you order on the spot. I had Shrimps with Lemon Piccata sauce. They had steak seared to perfection! My sister's steak was med rare just the way she loved it. They have a chocolate fountain with assorted goodies for you to dip in. Everything was good. Also, some of their desserts were sugar free or no sugar added, which is a total PLUS! I love their pizza.. it was hot, crispy on the bottom and cheesy! yuuuuuum. My sister also played the claw machine and won a Betty Boop doll! awesome.. would come back again.
