A Logan staple. Delicious sandwiches, very fair prices, personable workers, awesome place. Definitely would come back.

Logan's Heroes. It's great, as long as you don't bring it home for breakfast the next day. Let me elaborate. The sandwiches are quite yummy. I recommend just the classic Turkey and Pastrami, you can ask for certain condiments NOT to be on it. It's slightly backwards from your typical "What would you like on it?" The owner is a classy fella too. He is fun, hardworking, and funny too. We like him, he's a dang gem. Back to the sandwiches. They really did taste great; however, they are LARGE and in CHARGE. I took half home and when I went to finish it the next morning, it was soaked in the oil from the sandwich. My bread was sopping wet--eeee dee dee--which does not make for the best texture. It took a while to get our food. Usually only the owner is working though, and I can tell he feels rushed all the time. So, just cut him a little slack and enjoy the moment. TIPS & TRICKS: * Make friends with the owner, he is funny and knows what makes a sandwich good.

Great place for a sandwich. Simple menu, great staff, quick, friendly, and reasonably priced. Make sure to bring cash and parking can be a little hard during peak hours. I usually order a sandwich but this time decided to try the gyro. Great decision! Of the many places I've been to and ordered a gyro, I would rate Logans Heroes right about in the middle. The sandwiches are decent - not my number one choice for a sub but somewhere I enjoy coming a few times a year. The owner of this place is an awesome guy who adds a little extra to the experience. I enjoy supporting him. Check out my pics before you order.

Stopped in on our way to Bear Lake and it was absolutely worth it. I got the hot turkey and beef with all of the toppings! Service was great...very friendly. They are all foot longs so come hungry. Only downside is the cash only, which I actually had today.

Great heroes with a friendly staff. The spicy Italian was just that but not overpowering. These are big heroes and the gyro is also great with home made tzadziki.

Logan's Heroes makes possibly the best subs in Utah. I can't speak for elsewhere but honestly it's the best I've had anywhere. Whenever I drive through Logan, stopping here for a spicy Italian is mandatory. I really love the ingredients used. The bread has a firm crumbly crust. Absolutely love it. Remember to bring cash.

This place is awesome. Had the spicy Italian and it was super tastey. Really comfortable atmosphere. Great local place.

The go-to in Logan for a sandwich. I'm a sandwich person. Great place. Can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. The reason it only gets 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is the refusal to take credit cards. SRSLY?

  • Marklar L.

Hole in the wall joint that is SOOO YUMMY! Friendly staff, yummy food. I'm truly impressed with the flavors/the breads. Just make sure you take cash, cards not accepted.

Overrated. The food was ok but it wasn't worth the hassle. They don't take credit cards (seriously?). The guy making the sandwiched leered at my wife the entire time we were in there. If you want an ok sandwich, take cash and get it to go.

It's really good but make sure you take napkins. I had the Super Hero it was awesome. I would go again....

AMAZING! I read reviews where people raved about this place and I didn't understand how a sandwich shop could be that good. Now I do. Everything I've had is seriously amazing. I miss it every day and hope to make it to Logan soon to have another great sub. Only down side is that they only take cash. Make sure you have some!

I've been going to Logan's heroes for over 25 years. The place is an institution in Logan. I almost always order the "Spicy Italian" even though the owner gives me flack for it from time to time. My other favorite is the "Rodger's Special". The owner, Hommed (not sure in the spelling) is amazing. I moved away for 5 years and when I came back he knew exactly who I was and my family, the whole bit. Bonus Points: If you like spicy ask for jalapeños (not on the regular list) and he'll put on diced fresh ones. Amazing! Grab some cash and go there now!

I got the vegetarian sub (cheese and veggies), and it was delicious. High quality ingredients. The owner is super friendly. I'll be back!

Definitely good value for the money! I got the sandwich with all the fixins and it was more than enough. They're fast, too!

I wouldn't know how the food is. The first time I was going to try it they were not open yet. I got there at 11:20 am on a Wednesday and the signage on the door said they were open at 11:00 am. Oh well from other reviews the food seems like it would have been good, but I rarely carry cash and that seems the only way to pay. Probably won't be back.

This is the best sandwich place in Logan. Every time I come here I'm reminded how good the food is and kick myself for constantly wasting money at Subway. The sandwiches here are so filling! They load them with meat and vegetables yet it costs about the same as Subway. My only gripe is that they don't accept credit cards. I rarely carry cash on me so usually end up going somewhere that does take card.

  • AJ V.

My sub was amazing! Logan Hero and Spicy Italian are my suggestions, no credit cards is a little bit of an inconvenience but I would much rather spend my money here than a subway or Jimmy John's!

Don't judge a book by it's cover !!!!This place may look run down but the I side is hopping. We had a party of 11 and all the sand witches were made with in 15 minutes. Don't expect a small subway sandwiches. These heroes are filling! The prices is reasonable and fit for a low budget lunch. I will defiantly be coming back to this place!!! Mmmm mmm mmm

If you're only passing through or are native to Logan, this is the place for a sub. The staff is delightful, and really embodies the local sandwich shop feel. I always get the Spicy Italian. Yes, cash only. While I totally understand that not a lot of us carry cash nowadays (myself included). I wouldn't have it any other way. There's something about paying cash for a handmade sub, that makes the experience that much better. Subway takes card, but they in no way compare to the tastes here. You can't go wrong with this place, just grab some cash before you go.

Went here this afternoon when I finally had some cash in my pocket. I can understand why they only accept cash, but I don't carry it very often, if at all. Heard good things about the gyro, so I ordered one. The tzatziki sauce was plentiful and delicious, and the pita bread was perfect. The meat...was good, but not what I expected. It was a couple of thin patties, lamb I presume. I didn't know what it was because it didn't say. And I don't care, I'm not a pretentious ass who won't eat something because I don't know what it is. But the whole gyro package was great, I would order it again. The price was decent I thought, $5.50 after tax. Next time I go I'll try a regular sandwich, but I will be back again. Get some cash in your wallet and head on down. The owner has some sort of accent, couldn't really understand anything he said. But he was very, very nice. Asked if it was good and hoped to see me again.

Great sandwich. I will most definitely go there again. The decor is out of date, and it only accepts cash or check. But the sandwich is good, the ingredients are fresh and the owner is a nice, friendly man.

Great place to go eat. Beef pastrami was awesome. Bread was very fresh. Great pricing on their menu. Very friendly staff. The owner is a very nice man. They only take cash or checks so plan accordingly. There was 3 of us and we all ate for a total of 23.00, with chips and a drink. Thats a great deal. Would go again.

We sometimes drive up to Logan just to get one of his subs. I just like the turkey but I've heard the hero is good and the gyro. Logan tradition not to be missed! Owner is super nice and interesting to talk to also!

The first star goes straight to the staff. They are great, particularly the owner. The sandwiches are also pretty good. Lots of meat, and plenty of topping options. I love the seasoning he sprinkles on at the end. If there's anything you don't like, tell the owner, or else he'll assume you want everything -- and give you lots of it!

Amazing food, but they dont take credit cards which can be surprising. Haha. Wonderful subs!!

  • Steez P.

Subs are huge and for a decent price. The owner introduced himself to me the first time I came in and has remembered me ever since. The dude rocks along with his employees.

Who the hell doesn't take debit/credit? With square and other similar services around there really is no excuse. They made me feel like the idiot when I admitted that I only carry plastic. I've heard this place is good, but I guess I'll never find out since I won't be giving it a second chance.

Best sandwiches and friendliest service! We love Hamid! The place is small and you can only pay cash or check but it's worth it

  • She-Wolves ..

Dope sandwiches, even doper sandwich maker. Seriously though, the owner is the shiz. Super funny foreign guy who makes you want to just keep coming back for more of that grub and chatter. Be prepared for a little extra sodium in your diet and a register that doesn't accept plastic. Bring cash.

14 years ago I went to college in Logan and I've been thinking about these subs ever since. Today, I got to go back and the place is EXACTLY as it's always been; outstanding!!! I'm a vegetarian and Ahmet (the owner) makes the best veggie sub I've had anywhere in the country.

Super value, great unique sandwiches. The staff is great and friendly. Only accepts cash as an FYI

  • Sam C.

Oh. My. Goodness. Huge sandwiches!! I had the pastrami (which was delicious) and was absolutely satisfied. Doesn't have a side selection, but you won't need it. These things are big, and served fast. P.S. On the door, it says no Cards... In plain sight.

Been eating there twice a week since I moved here three years ago. The owner and assistants are friendly and professional, they seem to enjoy their jobs and make the best sub sandwiches that I have ever had. Way better bargain than subway in size and in quality of ingrediants. If the wait bothers you, just phone ten minutes ahead, No wait for me ever.

Staff was very rude when we didn't have cash to pay. We were told to use our credit/debit cards and head up the street to an ATM, to pay a $3 fee using the ATM, and then come back and buy sandwiches with Cash. The store owner has a vindetta against card companies, and refuses to pay the 3% + $0.25 per transaction, or to use Square for card processing. Because of his avoidance of 3% fees, he tells his customers to go pay $3 fee for a $6 sandwich. Really? You want us to pay 50% fees so you don't have to pay 3% fee? I enjoy local businesses, but I choose not to carry cash, and now I choose not to eat at Logan's Heroes anymore after they were rude with us. They asked us "Does it look like we can afford to pay 3%?" 3% is measly money when compared to the amount of money they are unable to take in because they limit their demographic immediately to only people with sufficient amounts of cash. Again, why don't you just accept a 3% fee in the place of a higher number of transactions and increased bottom line? If you want to Get more money, you have to do bigger numbers.

PROS: The taste. YUM. He has this special dill spice he puts on the sandwiches that makes them taste amazing! If you like a flat sandwich with meat and cheese only and no veggies, STAY AWAY. He puts wedges (wedges!) of tomatoes, and tons of yellow peppers on the sand-o's! CONS: Don't come here in a hurry. Food takes a while because usually there's just one guy behind the counter and manning the register. Also- only accepts cash. No cards.

I love the sandwiches here, they are always good. Cash only can present a problem if you are a card carrier like myself.

Everytime I go to Logan I have to eat here, this is by far the best sub place in Logan, it survived the chains that haven't survived and the food is just good. Oh, and I sandwich = 3 meals., if you get the Ara's Hero you could probably eat for a week of the meat alone in it. The wait is long, but the food definitely worth the wait, besides, you get Amid (sp?)'s stories and conversation while you wait.

This place has the best sandwiches in Logan by far. The owner is always there and is very friendly. Only accepts cash though.

Great sandwiches, fresh bread delivered every morning. Really good ingredients and big portions. Be ready to be full if you eat an entire sandwich. A dollar or two more than Subway but the best sandwich place around!

  • Bevan E.

Food is good, but I can't believe how long it takes them to turn orders around. I've been in at least five times and you have to wait awhile.

  • Minda H.

Can't beat em for a local sandwich shop! Try any of their deli subs -there's a special seasoning blend that makes them really stand out from the chain shops. And if you are feeling ethnic, get a gyro it will be the best you ever had. Go on! Support local business and get hooked on their generous, tasty sandwiches.
