The name, reputation and history speaks louder than the food! It's just a tradition to go to Angie's to clean the sink. The food is really good, but let's be honest, you mostly go because it's a Logan staple!

My husband and I walked in shortly after 9am on a Saturday. The place looked packed, but we were seated immediately. Light others have said standard diner food, which was exactly what we wanted. Eggs were cooked perfect and the staff was very attentive. We were just looking for a place to eat & leave as we had some place to be by 10am. We were in, served, ate, and paid within 35 minutes. Overall, good experience would come back.

After a day of driving, all I wanted was a big salad, but wasn't sure I would find one on a Sunday evening in Logan. I picked Angie's because it was nearby, and hoped I could order something besides typical diner food. Wow! This place had what everybody was craving, whether that was breakfast food for dinner (delicious omelet stuffed with veggies and cheese, with perfect hash browns), sweets (fresh milkshakes and pie) or my big plate of salad. I had Southwestern, which usually comes with chicken (all of the dinner salads come with meat), but I requested meatless which they were happy to do. It came loaded with fresh, red tomato slices and perfectly ripe avocado, as well as corn and beans and a tasty chipotle ranch dressing. Service was fast and super friendly, all of the food came quickly, and prices were reasonable.

We ended up going here for lunch because my husband pulled up the fantastic reviews on the amazing cinnamon roll that they have. It really is as good as it looks. It is very big so make sure you split it with someone. The staff is very nice and we will more than likely return. I had the patty melt and it was alright. The hamburger was kind of dry. Other than that we really liked the home town diner atmosphere

The food was okay. It used to be better a long time ago, but has gone downhill. Why don't they make there own biscuits anymore? The store bought ones taste awful. I would rather spend more money on something way better at herms.

We went to USU back in '91-'93. Whenever our parents visited, we went to Angie's. Now we come back and visit Cache Valley & friends every few years and go to Angie's. The food is just simply GOOD (well tasty and filling more than healthy - ha). Like many have said before their scones are great. Don't miss them - esp. with honey butter. As we say at home, onolicisous!

Had to stop because of the name.....oh yeah and SCONES! First off the service was exceptional. ..Kylie (the oldest) was super! All the staff was very attentive. The prices are reasonable. Try the bacon....it's thick, smokey and cooked how ever you like. They also make a pretty mean gravy...needed a little salt but still good flavor. All the food coming out looked wonderful. A definite must try if in Logan or passing through.....and there is a Smiths market right next door if you're towing.

Awesome little diner. Big portions, friendly waiters, delicious homestyle food, it's as good as a diner is gonna get. I ordered the "broasted" chicken which was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, very good. My wife ordered the California burger and it was delicious as well. If you're in Logan, you have to try this classic place.

***This review deals with breakfast only*** This is, indeed, where the locals eat. The wait on Saturday mornings will definitely give you the hunger pangs, so go early. If, however, you gave the night before the good college try, I recommend going to Cafe Ibis and getting yourself a cup of coffee to hold you over until you have bested the line. Two things are a safe bet when ordering breakfast at Angie's: the Early Bird Special; and the scone. Put them together and even the mightiest of morning grumpiness can't stand a chance. The hash-browns are good and crispy, the eggs cooked to perfection, and the toast (always rye for me) comes out perfect every time. The scone is enough to put you into deep-fried shock, so be prepared to share it with your fellow breakfast-goers. The staff is fast and efficient, and you will not be waiting for too long. **** Pro tip: If you want to best the line in the morning, you can sit at the bar. It is a good option for one to two people, but never any more than that.

Really great friendly service. Lively family restaurant full of fun :-) You can get delicious chicken and even the famous kitchen sink for dessert :-)

Just had the chicken Arizona and it was outstanding. Started with the Homemade chicken soup which was pouring over the cup it was such a large portion with big chunks of chicken carrots and celery and great noodles. The soup was served with an excellent warm dinner roll. The homemade mashed potatoes were indeed homemade and fantastic. It also came with a choice of carrots or broccoli. I chose the carrots and they were prepared with butter and brown sugar and were very tasteful. Finished off with coconut cream pie which was equally as good as everything else. My waitress Jenny was a real sweetheart. If I lived here I would weigh 800 pounds because I would eat here often. Don't miss this gem. The menu is huge and the broasted chicken looked incredible.

This is my daughters and mine go to spot for breakfast and lunch. The price is just right and excellent food. The waitresses are always exceptionally nice. Be prepared to wait for maybe thirty min of you go on weekend for breakfast, game day or the morning after game day. This is truly where the locals, Aggies and aggie fans eat. Burgers are wonderful and pancakes delicious. I love the coffee ;)

Service was fast and constant, even so far as a Coffee and Water server, Food was plentiful with good taste. However there was no way food comes out that QUICK, so what is obvious is the food is pre-cooked and reheated, except for my meal was flat out cold, sent back, this place could be great, spare the microwave, and no big deal about the sunday/sinday customers, you can actually catch them praying over their food in a clandestine fashion, really whats the big deal, one more try in a few weeks. IT was on Friday the 17th about 10:30 am

Angie's is my favorite place to eat in Logan. After four years of college, I've tried a lot of restaurants, and this place is the best in my opinion. Food and service is always great. It's got classic diner food with some vegetarian options thrown in that make it perfect for any group. It's always packed, no matter the time of day, so you may have to wait for a table, especially on the weekend.

Received a message from the owners that state the food is not prepackaged....I ask you, how can anyone make all the chicken strips completely uniformed? This is an impossibility unless they have a cutter that prepares all the chicken the same. The food was bland, both times I ate there. Additionally, when you have rude wait staff the last thing you want to do is send your food back. Not enjoying the food at Angie's does not equal me not enjoying the town of Logan. I live here for a reason. I do enjoy Logan. I do not enjoy Angie's. Just because it's on Main does not give it the official mascot title.

They have a couple things I can eat, and it's a good place to go when you're with company who is used to bland, standard, American food. I give them two stars for being decent.. and adding a star because they have added a bunch of gluten free options and are trying to be able to cater to the GF folks too. Also, they serve a Thanksgiving dinner for free, to everyone, every year. I've never been, but I think it's fantastic for them to care about the community!

Fast service, adequate food, poor sanitation. On Sunday the place is surrounded by pickups and full of the local rednecks. Every other day it's a decent place to get a good breakfast. I do like the service. Fast, efficient, no frills.

Angie's is a decent family-style diner in the middle of downtown Logan, UT. Inside is similar to the seating and service style of what you would find in a Denny's or JB's restaurant. The wait staff is always very friendly and ready to please. Non and non-strict LDS locals enjoy this place for being open on Sundays - Good to note if you are visiting from out of town and wondering why the entire town locks down on Sunday. Food is always tasty and they have a good variety of diner options on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hamburgers and chicken finger dishes are great. There can be a long wait depending on the time of day you show up (Saturday mornings can be awful). If you have a sweet tooth and / or a bunch of kids with you, it is always fun to "Clean the sink" at Angie's. The sink being a miniature sink full of about 10 scoops of ice cream, nuts, bananas. chocolate and strawberry topping. It is much bigger than it looks and if you and yours can manage to finish it, the staff will cheer and present you with a bumper sticker for your car so that all can know that you 'cleaned the sink at Angie's'.

Best hot chocolate in Utah - served very chocolatey in a big root beer float mug with thick homemade whipped cream. It looked like a root beer float. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. My country skillet was perfection - crunchy chicken fried steak, crispy potatoes and flavorful gravy. To boot, inexpensive.

Great breakfast food. It is no surprise that its a local favorite. I love their light portion of the menu. The portion size is much smaller and the price is adjusted accordingly. You can easily enjoy a great breakfast meal for under $5.

Angie's Restaurant is a small town diner-style restaurant with lots of comfy booths and counter seating. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of restaurants open in Logan on Sundays and Angie's is one of the few that is open. For breakfast I ordered my traditional two eggs over easy with hash browns and bacon. It was good, but nothing special. My bacon was fatty and honestly kind of gross. It had an unusual taste, as if it had been cooked in something weird... Not sure what the flavor was, but it was not good. My hash browns featured an unwelcome addition, an eight inch brown hair... It didn't really gross me out, but it's never great to find that sort of thing in your food... When I told our waitress about the hair she offered to replace my order, but we'd already waited so long for our food that I didn't want to wait even more. So I just ate what I had. To say sorry our waitress ended up giving me one of their homemade cinnamon rolls. Finally, to add further insult to an already disappointing meal, my toast was not hot and the butter hadn't melted as a consequence. My Dad and my wife were also disappointed with their breakfasts. Maybe we just visited Angie's on a bad deal. Maybe. But the food was pretty bad and I won't be going back anytime soon.

Just passing thru town and stopped here for breakfast. Lots of people waiting. 10:30 on a Saturday am. I expected a wait. Brian, the host, watches for people when they walk in and with his booming voice says "how many in ur party!?" Made me feel good amidst the chaos there's "Johnny on the spot" acknowledging us and making u feel welcome and taking charge. Good first impression, imo. Got sat, Nettie took our order. Eggs bacon and hash browns. Hard to screw up this standard breakfast, and they didn't. Good eggs, some of the BEST bacon I've ever had, hash browns were a little greasy, but serviceable. Coffee sucked. Maybe I got a bad brew but it was pretty thin. Brown water, basically. Service was good. Nettie never ckd back with us except to drop the ck. she seemed slammed so i didn't mind too much. She was sweet and having been a waitress back in the day, I could see the "weeds" look in her eyes. Lol. Oh.... One more thing. I ordered a side of fruit and got a while damn cantaloupe!!! Delicious!!

Always great!!! Really, this is where the locals eat. Excellent breakfast - but the lunches and dinners are great too! Specials every day. Never had anything here I didn't like.

Watery coffee, sticky benches, under cooked/raw potatoes, soggy bread (how did it get soggy before I started to eat?), and other reasons made this place not one that I would recommend. For those of you that are visiting Utah/Logan, stay away. No matter how great the service may be, don't do it. Yes, the price is reasonable and the service is provided by eager teenagers that need some extra bucks, it's not worth the room in your stomach.

After making several trips to Angie's, I finally feel ready to write a review. I wanted to wait, because Angie's does it all -- breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and over-the-top desserts. While I've only had dinner and dessert here so far, I feel like I finally have a pretty good idea of the scope of this place. Most recently we came on a Sunday evening. The front room was fairly busy, but we were banished to the nearly deserted back room. The climate in the back was highly comparable to a tundra and after the only other table left, there wasn't much to do in the way of people watching, but the restaurant was clean and the service was good. My friend ordered a craisin chicken salad and I got chicken tenders. Our meals both came with dinner rolls and mine came with a really good chicken noodle soup. My friend's salad was large and he said that he liked it. While the meal was nothing to write home about, it was pretty enjoyable. In the past I've ordered Angie's milkshakes, which are huge and awesome. The best thing about Angie's are it's hours and days of operation and the large menu. Everyone can get what they want and leave happy. The food is good, not great, but Angie's is definitely a solid choice for the locals.

Disappointing. Way talked up for just greasy diner food you can get anywhere. We ordered one of thier appatizers, and it was just battered and fried greasey food. Gave me the worst stomach ache. Then we just got dessert, and they said "GIANT milkshakes" so we expected some huge milkshakes. They were just average. Average in taste, average in size, everything about this place is just average. I would much rather go to Village Inn than go here. Its cheaper there and they food is only moderatly better. I felt that their sizes of things were miss leading. At least what we ordered I was very dissapointing and average.

Angie's handled an 18-person group with ease. It took a usual amount of time to deliver the food. I had the chicken supreme and mostly everyone else ordered breakfast for dinner. Nobody in our group had a complaint about the food or service. For a visitor, it was what we hoped for.

I had the ground beef steak dinner with mashed potatoes, brown gravy and a vegetable. The dinner was excellent but the soup and salad left a lot to be desired. The salad was good and fresh but the Thousand Island dressing was the run-of-the-mill dressing that taste the same as the cheap stuff you can buy in the grocery store. Very oily and no creaminess. At least it was edible but I can't say the same about the New England clam chowder. it was awful and tasted of raw flour, no taste of milk or cream which is called for in every recipe I've ever seen or made. If they called that soup Clam Chowder on the coast, they would be tarred and feathered. Of course I've never found good clam chowder soup in inland Utah. But thankfully, the main dish was great. I do love their breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy.

I am in love with their scone and honey butter. Mind you, it's a Utah scone aka fry bread so if you're looking for a real scone, you're going to be disappointed. I knew what I was in for and I waited anxiously. It came out on a big plate and well, it was the size of an entire plate and I won't ever complain about that. I tore a piece off, scooped up a little bit of butter and my mouth was in for a treat. Yum. I insisted my friends do the same and the second it hit their tongues, both of their eyes opened wide with delight. The honey butter is so incredibly smooth and sweet. Wow. The scone itself is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I tried their breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese, and ham. Side of hashbrowns. Also fairly tasty. The ham was very thinly sliced which I like. I also tasted their biscuits and gravy off of a friend's plate and it was also pretty good. The biscuits were soft and buttery. It wasn't the most amazing meal I've ever had but it was good quality. Big portions and cheap prices help too. I would say food was 3.5 stars but the service was great. Our cute pregnant waitress was lovely and so sweet. That bumped it up to 4 stars for me.

Very good food and service. They have an extra extra large cinnamon roll that looks really good and could feed everyone at your table. I would definitely go again

  • Bridget E.

I want to go right now just for that scone! I usually get their chicken fried steak dinner and share with my kids because the food is so good and the portions are large. The only slightly negative thing I would say is the scrambled eggs are kinda mushy but I am a scrambled egg lover and might be a bit picky. Aside from that it is a great choice and my 5 year old constantly begs to go here. He seems to think it is a crime to drive by this place without stopping... Oh and the bathrooms are really clean (nice when you have little kids to clean up), the staff has always been awesome even when they are super busy, and the wait is short even when they are packed.

    (4)
  • Walter J.

We wanted a nice down to earth meal, and we got it! The food the table twice as fast as we expected even though the place was full. Staff was knowledgable and efficient. We loved everything we ate.

    (5)
  • Dave M.

Love it! Love the staff! Love the fact that even though it is usually crowded the wait is never long due to their everybody turn around on tables. Also love that they never leave you with an effort drink for very long. As a side note don't forget to as about their kitchen sink.

  • Daisy G.

I came here with a local family that just raved about the place. I was not impressed. Maybe it's because I come from a city with exceptional restaurants and I'm a vegetarian but the food was of average quality. I ordered a veggie scramble. Though the quantity was enormous (if you're into a lot of food) the quality was not. I had to dump salsa (canned) on my scramble to make it taste like anything. The positive thing I must say is that the crew that works there do take care of you. They were constantly checking in on us to see if we needed refills, etc. so, if you want to get a lot of food, regardless of taste then this is your place.

  • Kyle K.

"Where the locals eat" Is probably a good way to put it, by the time 8 AM rolls around this place is packed! But we made it in early, and service was fast and plentiful as our coffee never went empty. And oh boy the coffee, I could rant and rave all day about it, their coffee is so good you don't even need creamer! Just a little sugar will do. Now let's get to the food. I had the special where you go and pick your own sides with a main dish, I chose the chicken fried streak since I have a soft spot for it, and it was really good compared to some places I've been, add that with a side of biscuits and gravy that actually had real sausage in it, and didn't taste like pre-powdered garbage.. Well I can tell you I was pretty happy. There's also a specialty here for their pies and cheesecakes, and from what I tasted in the crust of the apple pie, yes it does taste home made, and very delicious. I went ahead and ordered the cheesecake myself, and I can still taste the excellent top layer that has a sour in a good way taste, to the thick and rich second main layer. The graham cracker crust was a little much for me, but otherwise its a definite winner. All I can say is, come early, try out your old favorite or something new, and leave happy.

My personal favorite breakfast spot in town. Quality food, great service, and perhaps most importantly, good prices. If you are feeling like splurging on a fancier meal with bad service, you could go to herms, but angies is much more dependable.

Those are some pretty tiny 2-person booths ... made me feel pretty close and personal with my food. The lighting throughout the diner is fluorescent lighting and it looks horrible. The carpet could use some cleaning as well. Service was good ... but my main course was brought out just moments after my salad was brought out. Needless to say, it had to wait till I was done. Chicken fried steak was good ... the roll was border line soggy. It might be where the locals eat, but as an out of towner, I'd find someplace else.

If you ever wanted a Best Western continental breakfast but didn't want to spend a night in a motel, then Angie's is for you. Featuring the best sub-Denny's food in Logan, you'll get the following: -Powdered scrambled eggs (even if you think you're getting real eggs) -A depressing atmosphere that gives you a firsthand look at America's obesity epidemic and addiction to cheap filler food -Edible food that'll leave you saying, "That was okay." Angie's isn't that bad, but it's not that good. An ok place for mediocre food.

Went here for Saturday morning breakfast. The joint was busy. There was a line for a table but plenty of room at the "bar". Was served by a very friendly and helpful waitress. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time. Had a very tasty omelet and a warm blueberry muffin. Everything was excellent and the wait staff kept my coffee cup full (A+). Price was reasonable for breakfast. All the great reviews this place has on yelp are true. Would absolutely come back here again.

If you're looking for an upscale/hipsterific diner this probably isn't the place for you. If you want to enjoy a cup of coffee next to Farmer Joe and his buddies, Angie's is where you want to go. The food is so-so. I usually get a burger or sandwich, which is normally decent. My wife usually sticks to their breakfast food (she enjoys the multi-grain pancakes). Despite OK food, the atmosphere is comfortable (ask to be seated by a window). They're usually very quick about seating and serving you, and the servers are very proactive. I enjoy Angie's for the service, more so than the food. Though I've never tried one, I've heard good things about the cinnamon rolls.

Food: Good. What you'd expect from a small-town diner. A wide variety of menu items.... soups, salads, fries, breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, southern food, desserts. For special occasions, instead of doing a cake, they have a jumbo-sized cinnamon roll! Price: Very reasonable. Atmosphere: Nothing spectacular... kind of like a Dennys, but with a small-town, everybody-knows-everybody feel. Service is decent. Often crowded, especially on nights and weekends. Overall: Wouldn't please any arrogant "foodie" types, but a consistently good choice for family dining.

We were in Logan to attend the Utah Festival and ate at this restaurant three times. The service is excellent! There are servers at your table constantly pouring water or coffee and a manager checking on you to ask about your meal. We ate breakfast twice here and the eggs were cooked perfectly. It's hard to find places that cook poached eggs and these were really good! At dinner one evening we tried the broasted chicken which was crispy, hot, and moist inside--for only $5.99, and that included potatoes and coleslaw! You can't beat the prices or the service anywhere!

Stopped here for breakfast while here on business. The place was quite busy for a Tues. morning. The staff was friendly and very prompt with our order. As far as the food goes I'd rank it with a Denny's or iHop.Just so so. I know our food was served as soon as it came up but it was only Luke warm?? Except my biscuit. Great service!

We wanted a nice down to earth meal, and we got it! The food the table twice as fast as we expected even though the place was full. Staff was knowledgable and efficient. We loved everything we ate.

  • Dave M.

Love it! Love the staff! Love the fact that even though it is usually crowded the wait is never long due to their everybody turn around on tables. Also love that they never leave you with an effort drink for very long. As a side note don't forget to as about their kitchen sink.

The reason Angie's is where the local's eat is the great service and the food that tastes like home cooking.

The locals were certainly there as they say... "where the locals eat". The front room has some character, the back room where we sat was more of a big open banquet room. The service was great, Tyfanie was friendly & attentive while Eden kept the coffee cups full. The hostess, Kaitlynn, was the least friendly of the bunch but as I was only cashing out she didn't have too much of an impact on our visit. As far as the food goes, it was classic diner food. I had an Italian sausage omelet with hash browns and gluten-free toast. My companion had the special, a Mediterranean Benedict. The hash browns were golden crispy, such a rarity that I ate them all. The omelet was tasty, large enough to bring half home, and when I told Tyfanie I didn't want any bread she went to the next level inquiring if it was because of the gluten, then offering the gluten-free bread. The Benedict had crispy English muffins, artichoke hearts, green chili peppers topped with a well made sauce. If you are expecting fine dining...you'll be disappointed but if you are expecting a diner experience that's what you'll get and will definitely go back for more. Good diner food and great service, a long trek from the Salt Lake Valley just for breakfast but if you are anywhere in the area worth the stop.

Angie's is definitely the "local" place to eat. When I was a kid I had a not-so-good experience at Angie's but I think they have made some sanitary improvements over the years and it's really good now. Their salads are the best! Its not "world-class cuisine" but it's really good diner food. Not to mention the prices are great!

my wife and I are regular customers at Angie's,the chicken fried steak and eggs was the best I ever ate,my wife loves the house salad because they put beets on it.we have eaten several different meals and all of them were wonderful, please don't listen to the bad reviews try it for yourself.the staff is wonderful, good prices and food comes quickly.

We went for brunch on a Sunday and it was packed which surprised me since Utah is predominantly LDS, though the service was very good, we were seated quickly, and the portions were generous for the price. The veg blackbean burger was mediocre and their "English chips" only share with true chips that they are made from potato (yes, I've been to England numerous times). Their broccoli omelet was very good, but the skillet we ordered was terrible. The homefries were unseasoned and the onion was undercooked and pepper overcooked, though it still came out cold in places. Apparently "it's where the locals eat," so we will stick to eating where people have tastebuds.

Food is incredibly hearty. Good quality, and very consistent. The original owner of this store still manages it daily and oversees everything. Generally waitresses are good. This owner refuses to hire any male waiters, not that it matters to me, but it does seem a bit odd and sexist. They've refused us entrance once at 9:45PM, 15 mins before they start to officially close, however this is frusturating as their registered business hours are until 10:00 PM, meaning their front door is to be unlocked until then. All in all, I'd still go back there.

This place is just full of history. I love getting breakfast here, and when you have a group of friends together, nothing beats cleaning the sink. I always want to make a stop here when I'm in town. Love it.

Great service, always busy, lots of food, kind of like an upscale American basics restauarant. Ate here about six times and kept getting mild stomach cramps - think it's the oils they use. (Used to olive oil, not cannola). But I would eat here again and the chicken-fried steak was probably the best I've ever had.

My first experience at Angie's was mostly by accident. A couple years ago, I went back to Logan for a class reunion. A few friends arrived the same day I did, and we decided to meet for some coffee and eats. One friend suggested Angie's ("where Sambo's used to be") because his sister-in-law worked there. I said, "if they have coffee, then it's good enough for me." I got some eggs & bacon/sausage combo, and also got the biscuits & gravy, thinking it would be a couple tiny biscuits with a little drizzle of gravy - like most places would serve. I was pleasantly surprised to receive biscuits & gravy that was almost a meal in itself - and it was probably the best I ever had. The waitstaff has always been nice, and the coffee never got empty - but they also left us alone. Helpful and attentive, but without being pushy or annoying. Whenever I go back to Logan now, I always make sure to go back for those biscuits & gravy. In fact, I am getting hungry for them right now!

Comfort food. Period. No frills and no disappointments. Very attentive staff. Always busy...but I never fell rushed or ignored. Their motto is "Where the Locals Eat"...and they take pride in being dependable and down home. Very reasonable prices. Great for families.

Ah - the double barrell breakfast is a hearty feast indeed. This is a fun local diner spot. No gourmet small portions in this restaurant. Just friendly folks and large portions. I often get the 'light portions' menu for a full meal without the overkill on volume. Great desserts - love their pies. I think they make them on-site. Yum.

I believe that in life we should all be judged according to, and only according to, how honestly we represent ourselves to others. So, for example, if you saw my profile on Match.com , say, and I represented that I was the spitting image of Orlando Bloom, but then showed up to our date looking like Steve Buscemi... Well, then you'd have a right to complain, yeah? On the other hand, if I went to great lengths to properly represent that Steve and I are twins, and I labeled my profile in all CAPS as "sexy ugly" as I think somebody once described Steve Buscemi, and you showed up to our date, took one look at me, and was somehow disappointed by my looks, well, then you'd have only yourself to blame, right? Well, restaurants should be judged by the same criteria. Angie's represents itself to be "Where the locals eat." And Angie's is 100% honest and truthful. Angie's isn't trying to be an upscale steak house. Nor does it pretend to provide elegent dining. Nor is it trying to convince you to come in for its foie gras and 1996 Ducru-Beaucaillou Bordeaux. Angie's tells it like it is. If you want good, affordable, and incredibly tasty diner fare - and HUGE portions of it too - then go to Angie's. Some reviews I've seen, and I'm not naming any names (and I mean you, Bevan E., sir) seem to be disappointed with Angie's. (I hope you actually take this as kind of fun, tongue-in-cheek poking, Bevan. I actually mean this to be kind of funny - I DEFINITELY DO NOT INTEND THIS TO BE OFFENSIVE OR ANYTHING. Just, you know, poking fun at you.) But, why? What is it about Angie's that doesn't make you happy? My fiancee and I went this morning. She had the Belgian Waffles with blueberries and sausage and eggs - and the sausage links were fantastic. I had the 8oz. steak and eggs. The steak was great breakfast steak, heavy on the in-your-face flavor - which is precisely what you want when it's 1pm, and you're still trying to get over the 5 beers you had last night. And the hash browns were note-worthy in that they were cooked just right - not too crisp and not mushy either. Our waitress was AWESOME. In spite of running around with her hair on fire, due to the huge crowd, she always had time to make funny jokes at the other waitstaff and at the patrons. At one point, she even sniped at one guy sitting at the counter, "You better not do that! Or else I might kiss you!" So, in the end, I'm not comparing Angie's to the dining I've had at the 4 Seasons or at French Laundry (once upon a time I had a really great corporate expense account). I'm comparing Angie's to Denny's and IHOP and all the other breakfast joints around. And for what it is, Angie's is hands down, without question, far, far, far superior to 95% of breakfast joints out there. My fiancee and I left with smiles on our faces this morning. What more could you ask for?

My hubby and I took a weekend getaway to logan, I found Angie thru this website; and it wasn't a disappointment. We liked it so much we came twice! Once for lunch/breakfast and dinner. Although, the dinner wasn't all that. This is definitely a awesome breakfast place. I had the chocolate chip pancakes! My hubby ordered the 2 eggs/hasbrown 2 sausage patties with rye toast and we really enjoyed it! I didn't give it 5 stars because, I'm one of those ppl who REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY need to be impressed....the wait wasn't a wait at all less then 5 minutes for the first and none at all the second. HAPPY EATING!

Went here for dinner w/ Nathan after skiing @ Beaver Mountain. It was good to have a Denny's like restaurant without the kitschy, chain-restaurant atmosphere. The country-fried steak was massive, and you definitely get your money's worth at Angie's.

Looks pretty much like a chain inside this greasy spoon, the breakfast was fine but nothing to write home about, biscuits really left a lot to be desired, tasted like they were warmed in a microwave. Portions are big enough for 2 (or even 3). Fine, but I was disappointed given the other good reviews.

    (3)
  • Morgan E.

Angie's is a local institution. A cheap greasy spoon that serves large quantities of food for a low price. It's also one of the few breakfast places open in Logan on Sunday, so it is often pretty busy then. Their turnover rate is pretty high, so even if the waiting area is full when you arrive, it's rarely more than a 10 minute wait.

Not my favorite food, but the servers are pretty friendly.

This is a solid eatery! I recommend over the other chain breakfast places. Large menu so there is something for everyone!

Not a good sight when I see them pulling there biscuits out of a box pre made! There hash browns were good. This place is over rated. There slogan of "Where the locals eat". They must not get out much!

Yum.

It's where the locals eat...It's a Logan, Utah establishment...If you don't get it then don't go...Once again - It's where the locals eat...

We tried this place out because the parking lot was always full! Now we know why. Good diner food at great prices. Loved there apple pie. Can't go wrong visiting this place.

Went here for dinner w/ Nathan after skiing @ Beaver Mountain. It was good to have a Denny's like restaurant without the kitschy, chain-restaurant atmosphere. The country-fried steak was massive, and you definitely get your money's worth at Angie's.

My biggest regret from my college years in Logan is that I put off trying Angie's for way too long. It's "where the locals eat" for a reason. The variety of food is excellent as is the quality.
