The store is welcoming with relaxing couches and feet rests. The staff is incredibly friendly. My spouse and I always feel relaxed when we visit - so we come often! The store is incredibly clean. Even the other guests who come have so far been friendly. Oh, I almost forgot, they happen to serve yogurt, cookies, and flavored drinks. Ask for Brooke, she'll dazzle you with a refreshing Lime Rickey.
Your average, super colorful trendy frozen yogurt joint. Totally delicious, but lacks originality. I scored it a 5 because of convenience factor, as it is less than a mile from my house.
This is our favorite yogurt place. A little in the pricey side but worth it. Their yogurt is creamier than their competitors. They keep their shop clean and neat. We are always created with a welcoming hello and smile. We like the buy ten get one free punch cards. Makes the price not seem so bad. We are customers for life. Keep up the great work. Oh and we'd love to see more franchises open. However, it is still work the drive. :)

Authentic Mexican food in a fast food environment. This is no taco bell but way better.
My go to is a breakfast burrito. I don't have a lot of experience with the regular dinner burritos because I like their breakfast burrito so much. I love the eggs and potatoes with meat and cheese! Their tortillas are delicious, except for when they grill them a little too long and they get burned black spots. I really like their hot sauces here, and their Horchata is tasty!

We have eaten here several times. Their gyros are pretty good and I enjoy the salad and rice. One thing that gets me is the price - typically $10 for a plate dinner? I just got one meal for takeout and it just seemed steep for what it was. When I am eating low-carb I like to order just the meat skewers. The meat typically has a good flavor but occasionally it will be overcooked and a little dried out. The interior is basic but spacious. It usually is empty and a little hot and it feels a little dirty in there. I would probably eat here more often if they would lower the prices, but usually the quality of the food isn't on par with the menu prices. (In my opinion that is)
They've been closed for renovations and said they'd be open on January 6, it's the 8th and they're still not open! I WANT SOME BC CHICKEN. will someone inform me why their doors are still closed? I'm pregnant. And this isn't sitting well with my hormones.
Such a great place their food is so yummy, I love their gyro plate! Their rice and potatoes are so delicious.

Bun Basket N Bakery

Reviews:
This place is great. The food is awesome and there's something for everyone. Sandwiches, soups, breadsticks, stuffed breadsticks (similar to a high quality and filling pizza pocket), sweet rolls, cookies, eclairs. Everything homemade and tastes fresh and delicious. My favorite is to get the half sandwich and Salad with a sweet roll and a bottle of IBC. It's in a little area that contains a craft boutique, as well as a privately owned toy store right across the street. A great little community area for your whole family. I highly recommend taking the leisurely drive up to this place and enjoying your time. It's always relatively busy so you know it's good.
Bun Basket is the only dining establishment in all of Fruit Heights. I think it's the reason that it remains busy. It doesn't have much in the way of competition. The set-up is counter-style service. You line up and walk past a the glass pastry case, fill out a paper form (if you want to order a sandwich), and pay at the cash register. Seating is not plentiful, and neither are the pastry selections. Usually, the choices are cookies, and sweet rolls. You have nowhere near the choices a: Panera, Kneaders, or Paradise Bakery offer. Their sandwiches are average. Their salads aren't too creative. And their soups taste like they've been reconstituted from a powder. If your a person that likes carbs, their savory rolls (ie- bread dough filled with different cheeses, meats, or vegetables) are actually pretty good. If you order anything that takes preparation you will encounter a bit of a wait. But, the one thing that keeps me going back, and that earned them three stars (according to me); rather than two... Are the homemade bread loaves you can purchase and take home. The light honey wheat is my favorite. It's not too dense. But not too light, that it easily falls apart, either. It's perfect for making sandwiches. If I want a soup/sandwich/salad lunch, or if my sweet tooth needs to be satisfied; Bun Basket will not be my first choice. But you will see me in there buying bread, on occasion.
Service is horrible. Each time we have gone in there, employees do not greet you and they act like they hate their job. Each time I've let it go, but it happens every single time. I am going to make up for all those occasions now, I'm not returning to this store.

Taco Time

170 N. Main Street
Kaysville, 84037
Reviews:
How is it that this Taco Time has so few reviews? The Kaysville Taco Time is clean, fantastic staff and the food is yummy. The staff at this location is the kindest one you will find. I do not know what kind if training they do, but they are wonderful. I wish other fast food restaurants had staff like they do here. The food is yummy, it is Taco Time. What sets this location apart is it's staff, the fun decor, the cleanliness of the restaurant and how family friendly it is. They have an area with blocks for the younger kids so you can enjoy your food while the kids play. If you order a kids meal have your little go look for the stuffed toy Nemo. When they find it and after they have eaten what you deem enough they can go to the counter and tell one if the staff where Nemo was hiding. They will be rewarded with a small treat, usually the fantastic Mexi Ice! It is funny how a great environment makes your meal better. The drive through is just as great. The staff is kind and helpful and patient. This is wonderful as my daughter likes to change her mind as we are ordering! Last evening we arrived thinking they were open later. Mind you we were 10 minutes after closing time, but a recent trip to Subway on Gentile 5 minutes after closing where everything was still set up ended up with us being turned away at 7:05, the menu board was dark. I turned to my daughter to ask if there was something else she would like. Then the lady inside said,"Welcome to Taco Time, may I take your order?" Who does that? Most places would turn you away. I appreciate that they took our order, as it was the only thing my daughter wanted and was not happy about us being late. I know it is fast food and if you ate like me you do not expect much in service. Try this location. You will drive the extra time just for the service. I enjoy Taco Time's food, but I will even stop in here for a drink.
Don't you love it when you're pleasantly surprised?! At this Taco Time the prices are high, for a fast-food joint. But the food is good. I had a sweet pork burrito that was heavy on the pork, filling, & fresh. My churro was delicious too. Shockingly, I would have given Taco Time 5 stars. There are two reasons I detracted a star. First, their drive-thru menu board is ridiculously convoluted & hard to read. Second, as I mentioned before, the prices are not on par with other fast food restaurants. But neither of those will be keep me away. I'll go back to this pleasant surprise.
Staff is very friendly, food was as expected for Taco Time, the decor is off the charts colorful. We liked the fresh salsa bar off to the side that we don't see at most Taco Time's. Clean bathrooms with colorfully painted artsy mirrors.

This Dylan's employees are so rude and called me a liar because they messed up my order. I ordered a combo meal, kids meal and a salad for my family. They handed me my large cup for my combo and said they'd bring out my food in a bit. They brought out the kids meal and salad and when I mentioned the hamburger combo meal the lady who took my order said oh ya I'll go get it. I heard the manager in the back yell at her and say it wasn't on the order and so the lady came back and called me an idiot and I never order it. I explained she handed me the cup for the combo and she said I was dumb and never ordered it. I asked for the manager who said I never ordered it, I said okay I'm willing to pay for the combo but your employees shouldn't be treating customers that way. It clearly was her fault and the manager did not want to fix the issue. Avoid this location all the employees and the manager treat their guest badly.
We thought the food was pretty good. No complaints. There was one thing I hated about it though. It's "All Country Music, All the Time." When I asked about it, I was told that the management refuses to play any other kind of music because, and I'm paraphrasing here, : Country music is good, wholesome family music. Huh???? What with all the themes about cheating lovers and such, how is that wholesome? And family music? Maybe if your family is the Beverly Hillbillies, it's good family music. Otherwise, something like mainstream pop music is likely a lot more popular and family-oriented and wholesome. I won't go back just because of the music which frankly just grates on my nerves.
Wanted an ice cream and we were in the area and saw this little gem! They had a sign advertising pumpkin shakes! My hubby and I shared a large shake (super glad we shared because it was huge)! It was wonderful! I had never had a pumpkin flavored shake before but I'm totally craving that one again! It was creamy, smooth and tasted like pumpkin pie! The best thing ever!!!! I didn't try the food here but next time I'm in the area..you better bet because I'm going back!

McDonald’s

Reviews:
The service and food quality is up and down right now. Some staff are great, others aren't. I have had more negative experiences lately than positive. Wait times are awful and the workers don't listen. Navigating the drive through is tricky because they want a certain traffic flow when entering the drive through and nobody follows. Everyone goes in the do not enter signs. The new traffic light does not help things much either. I am going to wait for better consistent staff if I care to come back here.
They're conveniently located. And during the colder months I like to take advantage of their play place, with my kids. It's always clean. And McDonald's is carrying much more healthy options. I've had several problems with accuracy to my order, when I use their drive thru. But when dining in the dining room, there doesn't seem to be a problem.
This McDonalds is attached to a gas station so it makes the drive through and parking a bit tricky. They have added another drive through lane which was much needed and it helped a lot. They have a nice play land for the kiddos. Recently when we have gone to get ice cream, their machine is broken. It is broken so much that I end up going to Dylans down the road. They

Big Daddy’s Pizza

Horrible, terrible, and every other similar adjective. If the poor quality wasn't bad enough, our entire family got sick the next morning from this rotten pizza. We purchased two 5 dollar cheese and pepperoni's and in the first bite knew it was poor quality. Stay away it's not even better than the cheapest store bought frozen pizza's. Just walk up the east end of the parking lot to the next building and go to David's Pizza it's much better.
Big Daddys was a Big Disappointment. Always wanting to support local but this was not even worth supporting if it was my own fathers joint. Food was enough to keep me from ever going back, but the owners belittling of one of his min-wage sign twirlers made it clear I would never step foot in there again. Big Daddys lacks love for people and love for making good food. I have had better pizza from scout fundraisers, better wings from the frozen food section, and better atmosphere at the city dump!
It's really hard to screw up pizza to the point that my husband doesn't like it but Big Daddy's did it. It was so bad its hard to describe how bad it was. Part of the problem is that they make the pizza and then put it in a warmer thing until some sucker comes along and buys it so it's dried out and super nasty by the time you get it home. Pizza Hut is just 2 blocks away and their pizza's are only $10 and it's soooooooo much better.

Winger’s

Kaysville, 84037
Reviews:
I really want to like this place but each time I come away under-impressed. I've been there at lest a half dozen times and I'm not sure what it is. The decor is fine, the staff seems to be helpful and friendly and the food is OK. Last night we stopped in for a light dinner. I was craving fish tacos and my wife wanted a grilled chicken breast salad. She didn't find what she wanted on the menu, but they happily accommodated her request and brought her a 5oz grilled chicken breast on the top of their house side salad. She said she left still hungry, and the chicken was OK. For the price they charged, it wasn't much food. However, I thought it was nice of them to fill a special request. I had the Mahi-Mahi tacos. There were two small tacos. They were tasty, and I sat there wanting one more. Normally this item comes with a pile of chips and some salsa, but I wanted to skip the chips on this visit so I had them replace the chips with a side salad. Now, here is the funny part. Instead of re-plating the tacos on a small plate, they brought out these two small tacos on a huge plate. I almost laughed out loud. Who is in the kitchen thinking they plated my dinner correctly? It just showed that someone didn't know better or simply didn't care. So, if they don't care about plating, what else don't they care about? Now, this wasn't a huge deal, but it is part of the mediocre experience at Winger's in Kaysville. I give it about 2 1/2 stars, but since that isn't a choice, I'll round up and give them the benefit of the doubt. Suggestions: Rethink the fish tacos. You don't need a pile of corn chips with corn tortillas. Put three tacos on a plate, and add an interesting side dish that complements the tacos. Maybe some black beans across a bed of rice with a slice of avocado as a garnish? Tell the staff to be more fun and smile more. Part of the problem with the ambiance is the lighting. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the overhead lighting is too bright and you need lighting at each table. I'm no expert on lighting, but there are those that are. Have someone come in and give you an evaluation. You are in the same price range as establishments that have taken it up a notch. You need to as well. If people are going out for the evening, they won't come to Wingers because there is nothing to do in Kaysville after you get done with dinner. They will either head to Layton or Farmington for dinner and a movie. So, you need to give them a reason to stay in their home town and eat. There is a dearth of good places to eat in Kaysville. All you need to to is make some small improvements and you can easily beat most of the rest of the places in town.
Bad food. Bad service. How they stay in business is a mystery. My burger tasted like it had been cooked on a grill that hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Gross.
I remembered from high school that Wingers was an alright place to grab a fast meal during lunch, and since I hadn't been there since then, I thought I'd go. What was kind of strange at first was when I walked in, no one was at the reception. They were all in the back by the kitchen doors talking. They knew I was there, yet did nothing to acknowledge it. The lady, who ended up being my waitress, came and sat me down at one of there booths. She was very nice and friendly. Now I don't like to criticize the people who work in the restaurant business, because I did my time and people can be cruel. But my only thing I would say is that when she took my order, it was so long before I actually got my food. I thought it was weird, since there were only two other booths with people in them. The food was alright. I had the sticky fingers, since thats what they're known for. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything amazing either. Will I go back? Probably not, unless a group of friends peer pressured me into it.
