Not a good McDonalds. The biscuits were so hard and the drive thru took forever. My family said this was the worst McDonalds they've have ever eaten.

After reading the reviews, we wanted to let people know when the 1st reviewer from 2006 wrote how terrible this place is THAT NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN 8 YEARS!! This is the slowest, dirtiest McDonald's we've ever been in. If you walk in the the place and notice that every table is dirty, floors filthy then you can only imagine what the kitchen looks like! We've had such slow/rude service that Hubby's called the manager TWICE but they don't care at all. Today they were out of Coke! That's right. Coke!! WTH?? We manage a motel here in town and we actually steer customers away from this place and right on over to Big Al's @ The Junction, which is right next door. Good food. Good service. Good prices & great sweet potato fries. Skip McDonalds entirely and head to Big Al's. If I could give this review no stars I would, but unfortunately, you have to give at least one. They don't even deserve this star!

The manager is a complete witch! I stopped by there to order a quick lunch which turned into a 20 min wait for chicken nuggets & a large drink. While waiting inside for my food I noticed that the staff workers messed up on an order & the customer asked for the additional mcflurry & the manager (short plump lady in a blue shirt w/ a heavy colored contour) shouted "I HATE WHEN PPL DEMAND FREE FOOD!!" When obviously it was her employees small mistake. & she continued to give other customers dirty looks. She definitely needs to lighten up & be nicer to her customers, her attitude was absolutely ridiculous!

I really hate it when you order a fillet of fish and the buns are not evenly matched up. When they are like this, the buns get stuck in that position because the cheese melts them together. This place does it even worse than that because they slop in a whole extra bunch of tartar sauce. Makes for a messy and unappetizing meal. Based on the other reviews, it seems like pretty standard fare at this place. Plus, the tables were filthy and I had to clean them myself. If you are ever in Kanab, I suggest you try the Subway down the road as an alternative. I tried to go there first; but it was way too crowded. Now I know why.

My family & I were traveling thru Kanab on our way to Lake Powell. We stopped to grab a quick bite for breakfast. (I would have never stopped, but had kids in the car and we were in a hurry) We went through the drive-thru ordered everything fine. Until, we reached the pick-up window. The manager was VERY RUDE !! She said to us "did you get your stuff or not" for being a manager she had a pretty crappy attitude. Will NEVER go there again.

  • Syl M.

Reading previous reviews I got curious... I had no problems here. Got my coffees in under 5 minutes.

  • Caitlin B.

Worst Mickey Ds ever! This is probably the only one that shouldn't be considered fast food cause they are so effing slow! I was in the drive thru for 15 minutes the other day for a damn drink! I watched the car behind me leave. Also some of the staff is very rude!

    (1)
  • Robin G.

Took 10 minutes to get a cold cup of coffee. And got yelled at by the staff. Don't come here.

  • Pauline M.

they sheisted us a hash brown. uuuuuu mcdonalds, and we really weren't about to turn back after getting back on the road home. they were also slower than normal. the food is always the same, mcdonalized but what else can you do when there is no reception on your phone and all you have in the area is some shady looking pizza buffet and something you recognize. lol, i better look up that pizza place now that i have reception, i'll get angry if it's actually rated well.

  • Brandon P.

This is possibly the worst establishment I have ever visited. Key-word 'VISITED' I did not order any food & I am currently sitting on the toilet in their disgusting bathroom smelling their disgusting food and looking at their disgusting floors. Go here if you want to feel better about how messy your house is

    (1)
  • Brandi C.

No. Do not go here if you are hungry, or even just wanting what could pass for any kind of normal service. Just keep driving, and find yourself another option. ANY other option. I had the misfortune of visiting this McDonald's twice on my recent trip to Kanab. The first time, we went through the drive-through to get 2 coffees, and while we were worried we'd be late for a meeting because things went so slowly, otherwise things were fine, if a bit strange (the guy handed us our coffees...and then just disappeared for a minute or so, before remembering that he should come back and actually get MONEY from us for them). Ok... The second time, my husband and I went into the building, and that was a HUGE mistake. As we exited our car, I saw a dead mouse in the parking lot - gross. Really makes me question the cleanliness of the establishment, although after a 15 minute wait for 2 coffees and a single breakfast sandwich, I began to think that maybe the poor mouse had actually starved to death waiting for his order. The service was poor, at best. The guy at the front counter kept taking order after order, not filling any of them, and then wandering around aimlessly as the people waiting got increasingly irate. One woman asked for her money back and he whined "there are only 2 of us up here"! Meanwhile, the drive-through orders were being processed, but no one up front was being served. When we finally got our order (again, a 15 minute wait for 2 coffees and a breakfast sandwich), it was wrong. Big surprise there. I will have to be truly desperate to ever visit this McDonald's again.

  • Scott F.

After a long day of driving, all we wanted to do was check into our hotel and get some food. When I pulled in to the parking lot at 9:30pm, the workers were all sitting in the dining room, obviously just waiting to close, and one of the workers CLEARLY mouthed "f@$# you" at me as I was heading toward the drive through. I was pretty sure if I actually ordered that someone was going to spit in my burger, so I headed down the street to subway instead. The boys working at Subway were very nice, and even though they had cleaned everything up, they assured me it was no trouble to make a sandwich. Go to Subway instead!

  • Chandler M.

Worst McDonalds ever. Went here several times while staying in town for a week. Only because it's the only place open late. Slowest service ever! Inside is dirty, filthy bathroom. Outside, the drive thru line is long because it takes forever for them to even say hi may I help you. And the speaker barely works I was yelling at it. Food quality is average, but the coffee tastes funny. And in the morning, good luck. The door says hey open at 6, but they were still closed at 630 on a Saturday morning.

    (1)
  • Veronica H.

My crew and I stopped by here two days in a row for some quick breakfast. First time we remembered to ask for napkins and ketchup. I had a egg white mcmuffin and all was well. The second day the cashier had the audacity to say they had ran out of McGriddles. How does McD's run out of McGriddles? Blasphemy! So we ordered another egg mcmuffin, drove off with no ketchup or napkins. Shouldn't the standard be if you order some food at McDonald's this will include ketchup and napkins?

    (1)
  • Dawn P.

Worst McDonald's ever. Ridiculously slow drive thru even at 9:30 am. They got the order wrong; when we went inside to fix, got really bad attitude. Cook rolled her eyes and manager said, "You know how it is," then turned and scowled at me. So bad it was like a joke. Wish we'd checked yelp first.

    (1)
  • K H.

This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to, and I've been here many times. The workers are slow and incompetent and the store is frequently dirty. Big Als is the burger place next door and if you go there you'll get your food faster and it's much better. It's also clean.

    (1)
  • Bryan D.

High volume store and their staff is incompetent and can't get an order right. I understand that McDonald's is known for that but this store is especially bad. I would hit another place in town.

    (1)
  • Rick K.

Fast food is not here, granted it was 12:30 pm but we Waited 20 minutes for 2 spicy chicken, fish sandwhich and chicken nuggets kid meal yes it was lunch time but the other group who ordered just at the same time got their food which was a burger, fish sandwhich and a spicy chicken and they were almost done eating when they called number 261 when our number was 251 I went to see what was going on all the manager would say was we are working on it and you're next she jst kept repeating that even after they called 262 n 263 the manager is very rude and crew was very disorganized so because of the Rude manager I won't return to this McDonalds again.

  • Geoff R.

We were passing through Kanab and needed to stop for some lunch so we stopped here. Let me just say, this place is a train wreck! Food and trash all over the floors. Food and trash all over the tables. Flies everywhere. A huge line and only one cashier taking orders (to her credit she was polite and seemed to be trying her best to keep up). And the icing on the cake? The supervisor guy was sneezing into his hands and then handling food. Wow...barf.

    (1)
  • Michael S.

We ate here twice, the service was fast both times, and the food was the same as at any other McDonald's.

    (5)
  • Mark H.

I walked out of here two mornings in a row because the service is so awful. The morning managers are lazy and can't be bothered to help out the poor front counter staff or kitchen when things back up. In my mind, a blue shirt does not give you a free pass. If you need to make sandwiches, make sandwiches, if you need to take orders, take orders -- don't just stand there with a disinterested look on your face.
