Food was great, customer service could be better. You work at a great place with happy healthy food. You shouldn't have a sour puss on when taking orders. Be happy and smiling and excited. Could be worse... You could be working at McDonald's. It's wonderful that your napkins are 90% recycled, that doesn't make the biodegradable. (See picture)

Even though it's American, it's a great burrito. I love that all their ingredients come from sustainable resources and that they support local farmers. That's enough to get me to come! Not only that, but I always get the black beans and brown rice. Which shows they healthier options available and support eh bettering of society...loll The only complaint I would have is for them to portion things out cause you could def. make 2 meals out a chipotle burrito. Other than that, they always have great food Tip: if you get the veggie option, avocado is free!

Don't typically like fast food but I crave their sofritas bowl, and it's the healthiest and tastiest fast food out there.

They served me raw steak. I know what rare is, I'm fat and I cook, and they tried to pass it off as such but it was frozen in the middle and crunchy on the outside. It was like a salmonella M&M. I was told that's how they cook it all the time, but i don't remember getting a frozen raw chunk of meat last time.

The only thing I hate about coming to Chipotle is that I can never decide which awesome item to get!! The ingredients are always fresh. I love the crisp and ice cold pico de gallo. Best you can get. I especially love it when the fat guy is making the burritos because homeboy gives ALOT of carnitas! Next time you order a burrito, ask for a quesaritto! You won't be disappointed.

I found this restaraunt when I lived in Las Vegas and was ecstatic that they opened up here in my home state. For a few years now they have been wonderful and I loved the food so much, but the last few trips have not been worth my drive. The burritos are no longer tightly rolled as they once were and the staff are just not as friendly. The food is still delicious, just not sure it is worth my drive to the east side of the valley any longer, maybe if they opened up a few more locaitons closer to me, say in Taylorsville or something, I may be willing to give it more stars, especially if the staff is friendly.

Yu-hum! One can never go wrong with GMO free, organic food that tastes great!! The various options are awesome, especially for vegetarians. Only four stars this time because the corn salsa was waaaaay too spicy compared to other Chipotle locations we've had previously. We will. Go back, though....happily!

Our favorite go to restaurant. The burritos are large and not full of crap. All the ingredients are fresh and easily customizable.

Chipotle is hard to do wrong. Each individual location would have to do something up and above the norm to earn a higher score for me. I'm talking exceptional customer service, experience, and food. Unfortunately this location didn't hit all the marks. Food was fine, but the rice was under cooked. Staff was fine. Nothing to speak of. Would return, but it's not something I would recommend to a visiting friend.

Who doesn't like Chipotle? Even if they were owned by McDonalds from 16 to 400 stores and then sold for a billion dollars, I still feel like its a nice restaurant serving high quality, edible fare that is responsibly sourced (for a giant food machine). The pork barbacoa burrito is my favorite.

Big fan of this place. Yeah, yeah, I know that it's owned by McDonald's. But who cares when your food is always fresh and delicious. Hard to screw up the limited items served here, but that's the point. Always great guac too. Fresh, quick, tasty, and affordable to boot.

Ah, the McDonalds of "Mexican" food! You would think that title would belong to Taco Bell due to the ubiquity of both yet Chipotle actually TASTES like McDonalds. Seriously it's like fast-food déjà vu...you know you're in Chipotle, you're know you're eating "Mexican" (ha! I can't even type that with a straight face)...but you get this overwhelming feeling like the burrito should be surrounded by Big Macs and Golden Arches. That's not to say it doesn't taste okay, it does; but it feels mass-produced. It's thrown together and all edible. Sometimes tasty even. (And I like that they offer black beans and brown rice, so that ups it to 3 stars.) But every time I eat there I get this overwhelming feeling to look over my shoulder for a crazy, red-headed clown...

It's just too bad that the Chicken is Way too Spicy For little ones it was a waste of money buying a Lunch my Grandchild didn't eat In fact it was a bit Spicy for my taste too First Time for that And the Veggies we Very Salt

Chipotle always does well for a fast-order experience, and this location is no exception. I've been here a handful of times now, and I've been happy every time. I love the steak and chicken options here, and would recommend a steak burrito or a chicken bowl any day of the week! I love knowing that the food here is raised in a more organic and fresh way than most other restaurants out there. I think that the service here is really great! They keep the tables and floors clean even with how busy it gets during lunch. The people who work the line are always patient and friendly, and everyone seems like they enjoy working here.

Chipotle is always good and filling! The only reason I'm not giving them five stars is that the music was way too loud, I felt like I should have had a stiff drink in front of me instead of a burrito bowl. Are you a bar or restaurant? Pick your music volume based upon what you are. Anyway... The tables were dirty too. If the food wasn't as good as it is, this would be a 2 or 3. They get the 4 for guacamole goodness.

After eating here two times, it's time to review. Chipotle is good, but I can't help but crave greatness when I eat this type of food. So therefore, if you're craving an awesome burrito or Mexican food with fresh ingredients, I reccomend driving another mile east to LoneStar Taqueria. It's literally right up the road. It's a local shop and not a large chain. Same sized portions and price. I will say, the service at Chipotle has always been great. The steak burrito has been my choice so far. The lightly salted tortilla chips have a hint of lime and are great with the fresh salsa. All in all, it's a large food chain, partially owned and helped started by McDonalds. I don't eat McDonalds. So I feel like I should pass on this place and save the stomach space for something authentic and less "fast food".

Let me start by saying I love love love chipotle's steak burrito Bol. This place is better than FreeBirds works burrito, however, the cilantro lime rice and and steak aren't as good as it used to be. The steak is very chewy and the rice doesn't seem to have much flavor to it as it did before. I added extra lemon to mine. Coming here is a bit of a drive for me and it used to be worth it. The bagged chips also have too much salt. I have to scrape most of it off before I can eat it with my Bol. Still a great place, but I won't make the drive as often.

Very disappointed. I got the chicken bowl, which tasted good, but it was barely full. There was almost no rice, plus they charged me extra for lettuce and guacamole. I ended up paying 11.30 $ without drink. I would have been better off going to Cafe Rio where I always take home leftovers.

I've been wanting try chipotle for some time now. So today I was driving by and figured why not. I'd have to say that's it's fast and easy to get your food. I got the steak burrito and it was very good, had great flavor. It really hit the spot. My only complaint about it was the steak was a little gristly. Other then that it was awesome. I look forward to trying more things.

Well, I guess by now everyone has tried Chipotle. I will focus on what you can do here to prevent from ordering a 1500 calorie meal. The food portions here can get out of control and many of these fat burritos can pack in the calories. Here a few tips to cutting the lbs. -Skip the burrito and go with the bowl. The bread is heavy with fat and gluten. -No bean or rice - Babys got back because of it. -Pass or the sour cream -Add the fajita vegis for flavor. -Guac is a 1.80 up charge but a healthier choice that cheese and sour cream.

Chipotle is delicious. It's always fast, fresh and tasty. Since the menu isn't that extensive, I've tried almost the entire menu, my favorite being the veggie or pork bowls. The chips and guac are delicious! The only thing I don't like about Chipotle (this location and every other location I've been to) is the water dispenser is always really slow, the restaurant is a little too cold and the pinto beans are cooked in bacon - and really taste like bacon (black beans are better anyway). Besides that, I love Chipotle, you never wait long and it's always clean.

This is your classic quick Mexican food place. This isn't traditional Mexican food, but it does have good flavor. You will be full after eating here.

There are a lot of different Mexican grill chains in the valley but Chipotle is definitely my favorite. The ingredients are always fresh, the service is always quick, and the prices are very reasonable. I also love the company's stand to offer more local ingredients and avoiding factory farmed meats. Love, love, love Chipotle!

First of all I am so thrilled to have a place that uses range animals and gmo free veggies! And it is worth it! So delicious! The employees here are so friendly and nice and have always taken such good care of my order and greeted me with a smile. I love the carnitas burrito with extra pico and sour cream :)

Consistently slow service. The slowest location I have been to. Unfortunately the only thing keeping me coming back is the food. If you place an online order be sure to double check everything, they have forgotten our chips 3 times.

  • Jorge M.

Food is ok, a bit pricey, but what else do you expect from range free food. The costumer service is horrid we were basically yelled at for not being able to hear the food server, because she was whispering. Also that is not sour cream it is crema fresca.....

Since being diagnosed with celiac disease I was ecstatic to learn everything on their menu except for the flour tortillas is gluten-free.

Is it a requirement that employees not know how to fold a burrito? I've only ever gotten one from this location that didn't implode.

I am usually excited about a trip to Chipolte. This time not so much. First off I go in and wait quietly for about 5 mins. I am treated by a nice young man who asks what I will have. My mother is with me as we'll and she places an order at the same time. The gentleman in front is getting a rather large to-go order. The second lady working the food line snaps at the guy in front to "hurry up" she has a line. I get to her and she, as quick as possible asks what I want. I said please add some sour cream, cheese and hot salsa. She then "slaps" on barely any of the three. My bowl was so bare I could see probably 25% of the bottom of the bowl. She was too concerned about pushing people through. I asked if she could at least add a tad more sour cream, and she rudely says, this time yes next time it will be an extra. We sit down with these pathetic looking bowls and it gets worse. A child being carried by his father throws up all over the floor...a huge area right next to our table. In fact some splatters on my shoes. The father went over and advised an employee. Knowing what has happened does anyone come over? 15 mins later, after We have moved someone comes over and starts cleaning. On our way out, you could still see vomit n the floor. Terrible service tonight, and this lady on the line was just terrible, the worst part is, she seemed to be in charge.

I just went here for lunch today with the 2yr old I watch. I thought the food was good but was disappointed with the fact that I wasn't asked if it was to go or to stay so it was hard to cut my burrito on the aluminum foil which kept ripping as we sat down at a table to eat. Also, they didn't give me the kids quesadilla I ordered and when I went back up they gave me just a cheese quesadilla with no beans which I asked for. This was the first time I went to a chipotle restaurant and seemed that they wanted to rush us through. I work part-time at a cafe with the same set-up and I know customers don't appreciate being rushed through, especially when it's their first time and the customer explains it's their first time. I'm not sure if I would go back.

This Chipotle restaurant is just down the street from my work and a frequent stop during lunch hour. The food is consistently good and the staff is always very friendly. I particularly like the barbacoa burrito with pinto beans, rice, and cheese. My girlfriend really likes their chicken burritos. For two lovers of Mexican food Chipotle doesn't disappointment.

Right across the way from Cafe Rio and I'd rather go here. I admit they can be a little stingy on the portions sometimes (as far as meat) but the staff is super friendly. I always get a chicken burrito bowl with a bunch of fix-ins. Satisfies my cravings every time.

  • Jay T.

Fast, friendly service. It's a restaurant chain, but It cleans up nice. Burritos are the size of my face and the hot sauce is actually spicy enough to my liking. It's across the street from a Cafe Rio, but I choose Chipotle every time because I think that Cafe Rio is overhyped, especially in Utah. I love that they have outdoor seating. The parking lot is sometimes difficult to maneuver but it ain't no thang.

My salad only had a sprinkle of lettuce. The barbacoa had much to be desired. Nothing special.

Chipotle is a great burrito for sure. I always do a chicken and barbacoa mix, black beans (i mean really who gets the other kind of beans, i mean really?) tomato, corn salsa, lettuce, cheese, a little of their HOT sause and that's it. I also like to throw a little tobasco smoked on there. Normally for a Chipotle i would go a full 5, but this location seems to get skimpier on the insides of my burrito. the rice the meat everything it seems like they are always trying to get away with less unless you catch them and ask. but i will return to Chipotles across this great nation because they have a pretty good thing going on.

I had the Barbacoa Burrito it has a little kick to it. I really liked it and it was stuffed. My wife had the chicken and said it was a little dry. We tried a piece of steak and it was tender and full of flavor. They serve good food that is fresh and it's a good price. Not a fancy place. The chips where quite salty and they had really good fresh Guacamole. They charge 1.80 for guacamole and it's fresh so being a addict I suppose it's worth it.

Hmmm...I'm not sure if it's just me...or Chipotle has really changed since the last time I had it. Since I came armed with a buy one, get one free coupon, I decided to get two burrito bowls. One with steak and one with barbacoa. Again, it could just be me...but this Chipotle seemed to be really skimpy. Like whatever was supposed to go in the bowl, they put in a less than normal amount. Less lettuce. Usually, I get lettuce overflowing the bowl. This time, it was way under the level of the bowl. Less meat. I think on the steak, there were only a few pieces left in the serving bowl. They gave me the rest and moved my bowl onward, even though I'm pretty sure there's supposed to be more. They were skimpy on the salsa, on the sour cream, on the cheese. (Actually, you can see this in one of the photos, where there's LOTS of empty space left in the bowl.) At the end of it all, I had two very underwhelming burrito bowls, which I am simply not accustomed to. I am accustomed to stuff flowing out (this is partially why Chipotle is so famous, methinks), and this time, it just didn't deliver. Oh, and the staff was less than friendly as well. Usually, if you tell them something, they gladly comply. So I told the guy to put in more lettuce. He put in an extra leaf! Maybe I'll just try another location next time...to see if it's just me or Chipotle really has changed.

I go here *ALL THE TIME* and never have a problem. I remember a lot of the staff so that is a good sign- if they retain their workers it is probably a good place to work (as well as eat). I mostly go to chipotle because there are vegan options (most recently the addition of sofritas, delicious pablano braised tofu crumbles...). I am so lucky to live next to such a nice chipotle. The location has always, ALWAYS been clean and staffed with polite employees. I can't say enough positive things about this location. Whoever manages this place should get promoted.

Not trying to be all things to all people, Chipotle sticks to a small menu--choose an entree, select a meat, and add a few toppings to suit your desire. Don't let the lack of variety disappoint you, because everything is certainly fresh and very flavorful (I think the barbacoa is to DIE for). I don't buy into the whole free range/organic/holier-than-thou mantra, but you can't argue with the taste.

    (4)
  • Matt H.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Went to try the gluten free menu and they knew what they needed to do to ensure everything was gluten free. That is refreshing. The food is average. Yes it is tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. I do go back because I like my Mexican and it is not Taco Bell. Ok maybe I have a secret crush on Chipotle.

Chicken Burrito Bowl is the way to go after a day of snowboarding. I do notice that you have to ask for "a lil more" as they don't do the heaping scoops like the east coast does. No reason to deduct a star, just need to have more east coasters in so with more repetitive " a lil mores" it'll become habit.

Best Mexican chain. Better than Cafe Rio.

So we decided to go to dinner and Chipotle has a burrito bowl option that is easily converted to a healthy primal meal. Eliminate beans and rice and add more grilled veggies and guacamole and you have a great meal. However when we got there, at least twenty people in line. Five or six were ordering and they were all hanging over the top of the spit shield and talking into the food. I turned and walked out. Never to return. They have to deal with that, people spitting into the food. You know that no matter what someone has looked over their spit shield and slobbered into your order. Yuck.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
