Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

This place was better than I had anticipated. I travel abroad often, and I've been to CiCi's Pizza as well as others similar. I must say this is top notch. Other pizza buffets may have more options, but the quality here is far superior. Highly recommend this place, and the "Spud-licious" baked potato pizza is fantastic. Salad bar is fresh and delicious, and pastas as heated to order with a plethora of sauces to choose from. And, if you go between 2-4 during the week it's happy hour, and a bit cheaper. Check it out!

It's okay....the pizza seems old and the roasted red pepper sauce was gross!! The price is pretty decent though and it's family friendly.

The price is amazing you can't go wrong, especially when you have an unlimited pasta, salad, and pizza bar! Reason I gave it 3 stars because the pizza was okay every time I went to get some pizza it was never fresh it's been sitting there for a while. Other than that There's quite a variety for everyone's taste and the dessert pizzas are yummy!

Oh man! All you can eat pizza! My husband compared it to a cici's but better. I enjoyed all their types of pizza, the cheese was Soooooooooo good. The dessert pizza was delicious too. The atmosphere was friendly, it was obvious this place is good due to the line out the door around 5 pm. We arrived a little after 4pm. Also sign up for their txts offers, you can get a good deal for the buffet...definitely a yummy place to stuff your face with pizza. Oh they had gluten free options too..

Great pizza and pasta buffet on a family budget. They also have gluten free pasta at no extra charge and reasonably priced gluten free pizza. The place does get busy sometimes but you can't beat the value. Keep an eye out for great coupon deals in the Hometown Values and mailers.

Just moved to Utah from Maine, decided to try pizza pie cafe, place was pretty packed, Good notes: They gave me a military discount for which I'm greatful. Pizza I ate was hot, and good Soda /ice machine served small pieces of ice, and had Pepsi products. Service was good as well. Price was very affordable Bad notes: Not really bad, but nothing to distinguish it from other pizza buffet type places.

Good place for kids, not for single guys without kids. Loud, disorganized and full of kids without manners. I had been in the one in north ogden, clearfield and now bountiful. It's like the McDonalds version of Pizza. I guess I have to go anytime but 12 or 6.

The only pizza buffet for 50 miles in any direction. Are you listening CiCi's?? (This place is MUCH better than CiCi's) This both a pro and a con. It is good because the pizza buffet itself has a great choice of different pies (BBQ Chicken, Alfredo, 3 Meat, etc.) which also include yummy dessert pizzas such as cookie dough and oreo. They also have a smallish but overall tasty salad bar and a pasta bar with 8 or so types of pasta and 6 different sauces. The bad thing however, is that they are the only show in town and with no competition, this place gets packed. Often. Good for business but the table wait times and cleanliness, etc. suffer. That being said, the food is actually quite good and better than you would expect from a buffet style restaurant. Their sausage marinara and bolognese sauce at the pasta bar are exceptionally good. This is a great place for family dinners and no one will leave hungry. If you sign up for their texts to your phone, they send out daily or weekly price specials which is almost necessary for a family outing ($5.99 or so compared to their regular prices which are $8.95 for adults and a bit less for children)

Good pizza, nice pasta selection and a loaded salad bar. Go here for the value times and the buffet is only $6. They also put out text messages in their text club to often have the buffet at 5.55 or 5.99. They have a pizza of the month (it's usually a dessert one). They also have a group room that you can use for free

Very good. Go in hungry leave with satisfaction or guilt. I and there is a lot of room for a wheelchair but bring a friend to help A+++

This is a good place to eat with a large group. There are enough different types of choices that everyone will be satisfied. The best part is that one does not need to choose paste or pizza. You can have both along with a great salad. My favorite thing was the Oreo pizza, it sounds really weird but it is AMAZING!!!! The reason I am giving it three stars is because of how unkept the buffet line is. This is mostly due to how crowded the restruant is all the time. I believe that if the staff could manage their sections better this would not be such an issue. I would have given them a four stars, after all it is great food!!!! UPDATE- went back several weeks later based on management saying that they would work on keeping the buffet line clean. I have to say had medium expectations, and it was justified. Husband and I arrived and every table in the Restruant was dirty with the exception of two. Twenty minutes later, tables were still dirty and I had to let someone know in the kitchen that customers were bussing their own tables, because they had already paid. Needless to say this time around I could not even enjoy my dinner due to sitting next to other peoples filth for so long. At this point I will not go back, i gave this place more times for redemption then I do other restaurants. SO SAD I will just need to learn to make my own big salad

I had heard such good things about this place so I was excited to try it out. I'm pretty sure I over-hyped it in my mind. The line was a mess, it's not organized very well for an extremely busy time. And the pizza just wasn't as good as I was hoping, it was way too sweet. I was really hoping for more from this place, but sadly I was disappointed.

Went here for lunch, because I had a coupon. I tried the Pepperoni pizza, the pumpkin dessert pizza, cheese stick and salad. They were all good. Didn't try the pasta. I was too full.

Decent food for a decent price! I love the buffet style here. Not only pizza but pasta and salad too! Had a family Christmas party there as well and everything was really smooth! Only qualm was that the party room was a little smaller than most other venues!
