I love their hot ham and cheese sandwich on the sourdough roll! The quality of all of the ingredients... The ham, the Swiss cheese, and the bread is of primo quality and everything so fresh. But order your sandwich in the combo; the fries are done perfectly. Then, of course, grab any of their tasty donuts to take with you for dessert.

It's a donut shop. Not sure what people are expecting, with complaints about the new display cases, etc.... Their plain glazed are the best. Im pretty picky about donuts, and these are my favorite in this area (sorry Krispy kremes-- you're only good when you're hot). The sugar donuts are amazing too. Love their breakfast croissants and most sandwiches. Decent smoothies. Haven't tried their coffee-- more of a tea girl. They do sell out very early, especially the plain glazed. That should tell you something. They try and keep their stock don't have a bunch of leftover donuts at the end of the day, but if they do have leftovers, they sell donuts at a reduced price at the end of the day. Anyway if you're looking for a fun treat and maybe a salad croissant sandwich or smoothie, give it a try.

Went here later in the day a while back and ended up with dry donuts. Decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again today. I do not even want to ask my husband what he paid for these, but even getting them in the morning the donuts were way way way to dense and still dry. My husband even tried to steam one to make it a little more moist and still it was dry. Sad cause we occasionally like to get donuts but I guess it won't happen here :'(

excellent doughnuts. large in size, so if you cant handle it, then sharing is caring. very nice service, a very neat spot to eat. and their doughnuts have a unique shape to match their store logo, pretty neat.

I love this coffee shop. They have great coffee/donuts/sandwiches and atmosphere. The staff is always nice and there's always a table available. They even have a drive-thru if you're in a rush! I just wish they were open on Sundays.

The roy location runs out quickly. At 930 am the case was half full. Or half empty lol. The coffees are huge and a great price. The kids love the selection. Cute little shop.

I've had their donuts a few times, they've been alright. But I paid $10 for a dozen donuts this morning that were clearly a day old, dried out and stale. I wont be going back. Spend an extra 10 minutes and drive to Tasty's in Kaysville instead.

Prices are overwhelming. Really out of the way having to turn in on a pretty busy street. But the crumb doughnut is to die for which is funny because it'll probably kill you if you have more than one. Takes about 10 min to get a sandwhich during lunch time when there is almost nobody here. But I just can't get past the prices on the underwhelming food.

Very tasty turkey avocado hot sandwich and onion rings. We also ordered a dozen donuts, all of which are very good. After reading the negative reviews about service, I was definitely pleasantly surprised with our experience. Very friendly, and quick, with good suggestions on what donuts to try. We'll definitely be coming back.

Fritters the size of small pizza's? Yes, please! Literally, when I was in the hospital after having a baby, I called my sister & begged her to bring me an enormous raspberry fritter from Madbrook. The prospect of getting to indulge in a: crispy on the outside, doughy in the inside; fritter got me through labor. I haven't had a craving that extreme in a long time. And I don't even want to know the calorie count a donut that size contains... Fortunately, Madbrook does (more diet friendly) sandwiches too. Their hot turkey and avocado sandwich is delish! Fresh avocado slices, warm carving board turkey, and fluffy sandwich buns. What's not to like?! Their fries are above average quality; and their sodas are a good size. For lunch, Madbrook is a real contender. Especially for the area. The drive-thru window is an added convenience. The only reason I'm not making this a 5 star review, is because they're constantly running out of donuts! And I'm not taking about simply being out of just maple bars, or their signature triangle glazed donuts... I mean it gets to the point that there's nary a donut to be found, in the entire store! No donut holes either. I guess it just proves how good the donuts are. But it is frustrating, for a donut-lover, like me.

Madbrook has delicious sandwiches. I love the turkey sandwich, and their doughnuts are great too. Interesting triangle shaped doughnuts. The staff on the other hand I have never once been super impressed with. It's usually a teenage girl that acts as if serving you is a gigantic hassle in their life. This keeps me away from Madbrook for the most part, but every now and then I get a craving for it and I deal with the terrible attitudes of the employees.

This place tries. It really does. I've been here a handful of times, and have tried their doughnuts, sandwiches, and coffee. I'll be blunt though--the only reason I go now is for a doughnut to go. The service is inconsistent. The sandwiches are sub par, and it's hard to say anything good about the coffee with other great competitors nearby. The simple iced coffee I ordered last time was an unidentifiable milky mixture. The interior was better before. They've done some renovations since I was last there (maybe still in the process) but it's empty and honestly just too big for the business they do. The open ceiling echoes and is almost reminiscent of a cafeteria. That being said, these guys know how to make a good doughnut. It's unique and always tastes good. Crispy and fluffy all at the same time. Definitely don't skip this place, but don't linger either. Just grab a famous triangle doughnut and enjoy.

Every time I come here they're either closed early or out of donuts! What kind establishment is this?! I just want a donut! Is it too much to ask for? I guess I'm gonna go to Dunkin Donuts for now on! Bad business if you ask me!

Good food and polite staff! The place is modern and cool looking. The prices aren't the best. Sandwiches are great and so are the donuts but they are not a good combination.

Madbrook has great subs (esp. the club) The donuts are excellent, when you can get them, come early, they sell out fast!

I had Madbrook's do a department lunch for me of around 100 people. We were on a budget and could not find a place that could give us a basic meal within out budget. I called Madbrooks and we had a hard time getting the price to add up to our budget. We added sandwiches, chips drinks and donuts. They were friendly and professional and the food and donuts were delicious. I am now in the process of using them for another big luncheon.

Great donuts and fritters, not so great lobby and dining area. I won't be staying the next time I come. Every table needed to be wiped down and the floor could stand for a good sweep. I could see the streaks on the floor from the mop from the last time it was 'cleaned'. There were no other customers there when we came in and an employee came out to through away her lunch, but not a single person to clean. I was pretty disgusted.

I have been to Madbrook's dozens of time and bought probably 50 dozen donuts from the in the last 2 years. Lately they have "updated" their shop and have taken away their traditional trays of donuts visible to all as you walk in with some large ugly counter with donuts displayed in a stupid looking trophy case. I have been OK (would could I do about it anyway) to get a decent donut for my customers. Today I went in and walked out with 2 dozen donuts and a ham egg bagel. I took the donuts to my customer and I sample 2 and we all thought they were sub par. Small dough was strange and had a funny almost burnt taste. The Bagel which I ate driving to my customer was not the usual hot moist sandwich, it was not hot and the bagel not moist and packaged lunch meat as the Ham That with the in personable and traditionally slow service has dropped Madbrook's from my to go place. People (like me) liked the chalk board, open donut case and cute personable girls behind the counter and being able to tip within the receipt. The new look and product. NO Thank you

They have a great variety of donuts and are as good as Krispy Kreme, in my opinion. The size to price ratio is great. The crumb donuts are the best!

I went in this morning at 7:30am and there was nobody behind the counter. After a few minutes, a girl came out from the back and asked rudely, "what do you want!". I told her what I wanted. The entire time that she was getting my box ready, she basically had her nose turned up and making weird noises, like she was being bothered. The charge of $3.00 for a huge APPLE fritter is ridiculous when there are NO APPLES to be found. All it is, is a big blob of dough baked with glaze on them. The fritter's I'm used to have apples and cinnamon in them. Furthermore, my boyfriend said that they tasted like dish soap. Oh and don't bother leaving a negative comment on their FB page, 'cause they will delete it.

The donuts are so good that if you don't go early they'll be out of the good ones and all they'll have left is jelly-filled. The trademark triangle donuts are not only aesthetically rad, but they are easier for my kids to eat than round ones. Also, go for lunch...their sandwiches are fantastic. The only complaint I have is that they charge for avocado and only give you a little.

This donut place used to be on my list of favs but not anymore. The donuts are a lot smaller than they used to be. The boy at the counter said they got a new donut cutter; they are about 1\4 to 1/3 smaller than they used to be. I used to cut them in half. They should have lowered the price. I asked the boy if anyone has complained and He said "No, people comment but no one has complained". I think that's customers way of complaining, but that's just my opinion of course. I got coffee the other morning too. OMG!!!! I have not had that bad of coffee in a longtime. It was juke warm and no flavor. I will not be back.

Great donuts and sandwiches, but service can be slow and inconsistent. The turkey avocado hot sandwich is great!

Doughnuts are very good, sandwiches are good. SLOW! Frequently they run out of products by lunch time. Very young staff, not always efficient.

I love Madbrook, their donuts are some of the best I have ever had.

Winner of the poorest service EVER!!!!!!! I have never been treated so poorly. They weren't mean in a calculated way. Just completely oblivious to their surroundings. They helped customers behind me numerous times. Even AFTER acknowledging my existence and apologizing for skipping me previously. Horrible horrible service!!!!!!!

We went there for the first time and got some donut holes (blueberry), and honestly we had ONE berry total for the six holes, add to that, there was NO blueberry taste! We were totally disappointed. I also got a maple bar and it was just okay. Nothing to write home about. Very, very disappointed.

Its a nice shop inside, tinted cement floors, spotless restrooms, nice modern colors and slick and clean. AND free WiFi, nice! It would be a great place to hang, wifi and have a donut & cuppa. Friendly guy at the counter, helpful. The place sells sandwiches, coffees, chai and even has a salad bar. The glass cases held a good variety of donuts even at 4pm. Donuts are a bit pricey.. but the donuts are enough for two. This review is only for donuts, not for the other menu items. The glazed donut hole was very good.. I would def return for glazed, but the boston creme was just not quite for me. very rich and just bigger than the average donut, couldn't finish. Have a look at the fritters, they are truly something to marvel... I was impressed but I did not indulge. HUGE. I would def return for a glazed. Oh, drive in window too. Convenient.

Best donuts in the area. I hate that they are not open on Sunday mornings. You got to go early or they maybe out of the triangles, which are the best! I have never eaten there I always pick up and take it to go.

I had a combo meal with a cup of soup and 6" sandwich [includes large drink] for just under $7. It was clean, and relatively quiet. Additionally, there is free wifi and large plasma televisions [on mute] in the establishment. It's a bit out of the way for most, but a nice change from "generica". I will be back. Oh yeah, and they serve good donuts, too [as their name indicates]. The raised donuts are in the shape of a triangle! Check it out!

I have had their doughnuts and they are delicious. They are large and cheap also. The environment is neat and welcoming, the employees helpful and nice. They also have sandwiches and such. I highly recommend this shop.

Best donut shop around. They buy these for work every weds morning and they are great and HUGE!

They have insane fritters. The small ones are the size of your head. The large ones are obscene. They are quite delicious. I got one of the large ones for a friend who loves fritters and dared him to finish it. It took him the whole day, but he managed. Decent coffee, soups and sandwiches, too.
