For it's purpose I give my experience 5 stars. Usually I feel guilty pigging out on fried tenders, but these chicken tenders were lightly breaded and juicy! Add some thin waffle sweet potato fries and oooooohhh wee!! The music added a great vibe too

I just found this place today and I have to say that I am more than impressed. This is a hidden gem located at the back of an office Park on the south side of beltway 8. The place was so packed it was impossible to find a seat so remember to get there early, or you can call in advance for takeout so you don't have to wait in line. The staff here was exceedingly friendly and made me feel right at home as soon as I walked in. As for the food it was cheap delicious and the portions were large, the sweet potato waffle fries are to die for and the chicken was fresh and hot.. If you like honey mustard you will have to try there's, you can really taste actual honey! I really wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars. They deserve it.

One of my favorite places for lunch. Chicken is always great, salads are plentiful. It's easy to get my coworkers to agree to this place.

Super Chicken is awesome. I work nearby, and my coworkers kept telling me about how great the food was. I went in, and was immediately hooked. The fried chicken is moist without being greasy. I have yet to have anything there that was not absolutely delicious. We've even started catering lunches from them for meetings. Don't be turned off by the location. It's definitely worth a try, and you're certain to be back for more. Oh, and get the sweet potato waffle fries - they're great!

Super Chicken has two locations to choose from: a new location in Tomball and the one we visited just off the North Sam Houston Parkway. I had heard great things about Super Chicken and was pleasantly surprised at what I found there. I was expecting an older establishment with loud fryers and an outdated décor - the norm for some of the best chicken spots in Houston. Not here, this place was spotless! The whole ambiance is cheerful and inviting. Everyone is extremely welcoming with smiles from ear-to- ear - the perfect place to visit if you are having a bad day. Upbeat music was playing and a good crowd was there although it was after 1pm. The Greenspoint location closes at 2pm, but the Tomball location is open until 9pm weekdays and 10pm on weekends. I absolutely love chicken in every way imaginable, so when I heard about Super Chicken, I got pretty excited. I decided to try specialty just about every way they could serve it to me! Right from the jump, I like the fact that you can head straight up to the register and order yourself, making it a great spot to have lunch and still get back to work on time. There's a large seating area in-house, so we ordered a couple of Blackberry Teas and did just that. First up, we got two salads to share for a bit of a variety. With my passion for blue cheese, the natural choice was the Super Salad: sliced chicken, wonderful blue cheese, toasted almonds, dried cranberries, tomato, red onion and carrots over mixed lettuces. The chicken is amazing with so many flavors accenting each other that I can't stop eating it. Whatever it is that they season it with, all I can say is the end result is - wow! I can see it's going to be hard to save room for our other entrees! No, definitely not your average chicken shack, this is gourmet with the superior ingredients you would expect to find in a fine dining restaurant! When I saw the famous Chicken Salad Salad on the menu I had to do a double-take. That's right, Chicken Salad Salad. I thought it was a misprint, but no, that's the name. This tasty, yet healthy, dish consists of a shredded chicken breast with a l'il mayo, sliced grapes and toasted almonds over mixed lettuces served with garlic toast points. Another great killer salad! Yes, the salads here are an impressive alternative to the chicken tenders Super Chicken is noted for. Now, for the signature Chicken Tenders I have been hearing so much about. We got 4 Tenders, but you can get more or less depending on your appetite. As you can see in the photography, they are quite large; so, two tenders with fries and slaw are plenty for lunch. The chicken tenders were made exactly how they should be: made to order from the actual tenderloin and seasoned with a perfectly blended combination of herbs and spices. So many places these days just cut breasts up or, even worse, use pre-made frozen products. Not here. Super Chicken takes great pride in the chicken they use and the result is chicken that is more than just good, it's insane! I love homemade sauces so I tried every one. My favorite was the spicy ketchup I dipped my fries in. We also had Super Sauce Ranch, BBQ, and Buffalo Sweet Chili. All were exceptional. For sides, we had the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and the Texas Slaw: a palate-pleasing mixture of cabbage, cilantro, and jalapeño chiles. Both were wonderful, as you can imagine. We ordered 3 sandwiches to get the full spectrum of the menu. The Buffalo Po Boy was a hit: crispy chicken tenders, creamy Buffalo Sauce, Cheddar cheese, Cajun Mayo, lettuce, tomato, and pickled jalapenos. The Buffalo Sauce was as good as any I have ever tasted and meshed perfectly with the flavors of the other ingredients. The Grilled Chicken Bacon Melt, as you may have guessed, was built with grilled chicken and sliced bacon and topped with sautéed onions, Havarti cheese, mayo, and sliced pepperoncini chiles. Finally, we sampled the Opa Chicken Salad Sandwich made with shredded chicken breast, a l'il Mayo, Feta cheese, Kalamata olives and Greek herbs, Romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, and cucumber served on wholesome wheat bread. Of the 3 sandwiches, I wish could say I had a favorite, but they were all so good! The variety here is perfect. I could easily eat here every day; a different choice every day of the week and then the next week... repeat! The only thing that bums me out about this Super Chicken location is that they close at 2pm, which makes it difficult for me to enjoy lunch here as my headquarters is on the other side of town. Fortunately, the Tomball location stays open much later and with a menu this good, I fully expect to see Super Chicken in every part of the city soon. Fingers crossed!

Been coming to Super Chicken for two years now and it dawned on me I've never reviewed the best kept little secret in the greenspoints area, The Chicken tenders are to die for. The Famous Chicken Salad is great if I was on death row I would definitely Make it one of my last meal options.

SC is like a local Raising Cane's. Sandwiches are 'aite' but what you really want are the chicken strips which are crunchy, juicy, and come out piping hot. Do yourself a favor and limit yourself to three. It'll generally be more than enough. Regarding sides: Regular fries are thin (think shoe strings). The broccoli salad is worth the upgrade, but I'd pass on the sweet potato fries. Go before 11:30, because it gets packed for lunch.

I was talked into trying this place out for lunch (usually I pack a lunch from home) and I fear it may have started an addiction. I had the chicken tenders and sweet potato waffle fries with honey mustard and horseradish sauce. I was so happy eating this lunch. The chicken tenders were so juicy and fresh and delicious.... I was tempted to get another order to go, but restrained myself. I will definitely be back. I might even stock up for the freezer for the days they are closed....

Had the 3pc chicken with Parmesan fries for lunch...chicken is good , fries nothing special... Overall it's pretty good

This place is one of the better options in the area if you're looking for a non-corporate fast food lunch. Outside of Greenspoint, I would call this place average. My sweet potato fries were too salty the 2x I've been here so far. The chicken tenders were okay, but not crispy. They give you a lot of sauce options, which is a plus. Without a soft drink, you'll spend around $7 to $9 for lunch, a little on the high side for the portions you get.

  • Justin J.

Fantastic for lunch. Chicken tenders is lightly breaded and fried to just right. So the meat is very juicy and tender. Their fries are thinner than usual and very crispy. However, their chicken tender sizes are a crab shoot, so a 4 piece basket could mean feeling good or falling asleep at your desk.

Who knew chicken could be this good? You need to try this place if you are in this area. It's not just "good for Greenspoint", it's just plain good. Enthusiastic owner, quick service, reasonable prices, and very tasty chicken. Had the tenders with sweet potato waffle fries and some iced green tea, along with two of the dipping sauces. Clearly growing popularity, there was a broad mix of local blue and white collar workers checking it out, quite busy by noon.

I've ate here about 3 times. The first two times were pretty good. The fires were good, the chicken was really good. The 3rd time my order was really bad. My fries were terrible(dirty oil, not sure). My sandwich was dry. The bread was soggy. The place was packed, maybe just bad luck. I dont eat here often because I think the prices are too high for what you get. The food was so bad the last time I dont think I will be going back again.

Great place for lunch... Food was excellent. Some good selections to choose from. I had the special for the day (BBQ chicken sandwich) One of the better chicken sandwiches I've had in some time. Place smelled awesome as soon as you walked in. Highly recommend.

Super Chicken is an oasis among the restaraunt barren Greenspoint area. The tenders and salads are the best. This place is a definite stop on our "regular" lunch list.

This is a great lunch spot. The owner is Super Nice and seems like just a great guy. One of the cashier ladies is a Super Hoot - makes u smile no matter how your day is going. The herb fries and noodle soap are good. If they had just plain mustard for the sandwich (they only have the fancy stuff) I would have given it 5 stars.

  • Daniel O.

I had the chicken salad sandwich with the broccoli salad upgrade. It was average,IMHO Clean place and friendly employees. I will try the strips next time.

  • John F.

They should call this pretty good chicken. The chicken is good... Not amazing, but they have some pretty good dipping sauces to go with it. There is not much else to eat in the area so if you are reading this you may as well dine here.

  • Noneya L.

I don't know where they are getting their stars but it is not 4 stars. Solid 2. Below average chicken strips ... Reminds me of chik Fila . Sauces were non memorable and most of all over priced. 4 strips of small chicken and old garlic fries for $10.00

I don't know what on earth they're doing, or who sold their soul to the Devil, but this is the best french fry i've ever put in my mouth. Kudos to super chicken!

Great chicken all around. Very impressed, don't let the shopping center it is in fool you. This place is clean, well decorated, great atmosphere and great food. Hope this place catches on in Houston, a local chain of these would be nice.

Ain't No Thang But A Chicken Wang. It was Outkast that said that on a song from their 1st and classic album, "southernplayalisticadillacmuzik". Well it's more like chicken tenders at Super Chicken. Just like most of the good places to eat at this part of Houston, it's in a divey looking strip mall and the only restaurant in this place. You'll have to pull all the way in otherwise you wouldn't know Super Chicken was here. I've had their sandwiches before but not enough chicken in it. 4 piece tenders is good enough lunch for me. Tender, not too crispy, and juicy. The staff here are nice and friendly too.

  • Amy K.

Get the chicken fingers and regular fries. Skip the melts (they first brought out my sandwich with no cheese and then when I asked for it they literally just put a slice of cheddar on top and brought it back) and the sweet potato fries.

    (5)
  • Eric F.

Very solid. I echo the praise of the chicken tenders and the sweet potato fries. Think Cane's or even Layne's if you're familiar with them.

This place is kind of hidden in a shady shopping center. I happen to work nearby and go here about once a week. I almost always get mine to go. They do have plenty of seating but usually I go alone so I prefer take out. Almost always when I get here I am greeted with a smile by every single employee that sees me. The way this place works is you have to go up to the counter and order what you want from the menus. Once you order they give you a number and bring your food to your table. I always get the 3 chicken strips combo. It comes with fries and coleslaw. Trust me the chicken strips are pretty big so you won't need to order anymore than 3. The combo not including a drink is around $9.50. The chicken strips are always huge, fresh and delicious. They don't just use a lot of batter to make them look big they are big. They have daily specials and a pretty good size menu. But I believe the only meat choice is chicken. Eating lunch here will cost you around $10-$12 depending on if you get a drink. Not bad but I can't spend that everyday.

I had a training class down the street from this place and had to check it out based on reviews. I was intrigued that this place had such good reviews for being in a run down shopping center with a run down strip club. To my surprise it was great! I have visited this place multiple times since and even brought out of town family to it since I think their Chicken Tenders are better than Canes. Although my family members thought I was full of BS, they agreed me with me after they tired their Chicken Tenders.

Open only for lunch M-F this places serves primarily chicken tenders along with other sandwiches and sides. The tenders were very good. Big and juicy and flavorful. I also went with the sweet potato waffle fries and they very good also. Counter service was quick and efficient. The manager was greeting patrons as they walked in. They also have a deli next door that offers other good foods. Good place to come eat lunch. The restaurant was clean and bright. There was ample parking.

Great quality chicken, super-friendly staff, and reasonable prices. How can you beat that? I've heard that this place is amazing and tried it for myself. Had their 3 piece chicken strips and waffle sweet potato fries and they were out of this world! The portions are huge and still manage to make their food very tasty. You honestly cannot get any better then that. P.S. There is a new location on Tomball Parkway too!! YAY!!

Don't let the 3 stars scare you away. Super Chicken does a good job. -Their chicken is tasty -They offer a variety of tasty sauces with their chicken. -They also offer a variety of fries (regular, olive oil/Garlic, and sweet potato -Prices are quite reasonable -The location is not the greatest but it's a good place to go to if you live or work near the Greenspoint area. -Great for lunch. Very fast and very courteous

I would have never came to this place if it wasn't for friends at work. The outside of the building looks desolate and ghetto. It especially doesn't help that there is a run down strip club in the same parking lot. It turns out that Super Chicken is actually super and the inside isn't ghetto. I would compare this place to a Raising Cane's or Chic-Fil-A. The chicken tenders were super juicy and tender. They went really well with their signature super sauce (which is like Cane's sauce). For extra cost, you can substitute your regular fries with... wait for it... SWEET POTATO WAFFLE FRIES! Very delicious, especially if you love sweet potato fries AND waffle fries. The only thing I would watch out for is the extra costs they sneak you into getting. If you order a basket, they do not tell you drinks are extra or sweet potato fries are extra. They simple ask "what kind of drink do you want?" or "do you want waffle fries?". I think it's very good marketing to train their cashiers to ask that. Overall I'll come back here again. The food is good and I want to try their steak fingers.

Brought the wife here for a quick lunch. She had the avocado, bacon, and ranch (ABR) chicken tacos; and I had the chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. Wife l-o-v-e-d her ABR chicken tacos, and I can't give the proper praise for my meal...other than its the reason I keep on coming back.

  • Laura H.

Love this place. ..their sweet potato fries are nice and crispy, food is done fresh, love their Greek salad, there's usually a lot of people but it's worth the wait. . I call in before picking up my food

    (5)
  • Grace K.

The chicken tenders and the chicken salad sandwich (very peppery and oversalted, but still reasonably good) are pretty good. The chicken tenders are super big chunks of chicken breast, and the chicken salad is made of really big pieces of shredded chicken. I LOVE fries, and unfortunately the fries are not really up to par. The regular fries just seem really oily, like they were fried at a low temp, or maybe just drizzled with extra oil after being fried (haha i hope not), and the sweet potato fries have been nearly burned, or at least way over-fried, all 3 times i've had them (and also overly oily).

This is a very cozy place to have a great meal. Very crispy tender chicken strips and juicy as well. Very fresh. The whole staff is very friendly.

  • Natasha L.

This place looks sketchy from the outside, but it's better once you get inside. The food is weird. I got a chicken salad, and it's was a lump of the chicken salad you find on a sandwich placed on top of lettuce.

  • Oh Fabela ..

I was starving yesterday and unfortunately there is nothing around my job other than Taco Bell and McDonald's and I was NOT craving that! I did a quick Google search and came across this place. I went the boring route and ordered a salad but it was da bomb! The sssshicken was grilled and seasoned just the way I like it ! Can't wait to go back and try something else! Oh and the employees were super nice and friendly. AND a big plus: the place was clean! I'm definitely going back.

  • John N.

I'm stingy about giving out 5 stars but this place won me over. 1) The chicken is really good. Like, really good. I've had both the strips and a chicken salad salad. 2) It's fast. Despite being very busy we got our food within minutes. 3) I'm a bit of an iced tea fanatic and sometimes this makes or breaks a place. Both their regular black and green iced tea were fresh and really good. 4) This is what won me over to give it 5 stars: the staff's friendliness and service. They went out of their way to be accommodating. The manager (possibly owner?) even found time to go around table to table asking how everything was, despite its being very busy. Don't usually find that unless you're in a fancy restaurant. Just go once and you'll see what I mean. Highly recommend.

This place is a hidden treasure in Greenspoint area. The chinken fingures are moist and excellent tasting with 2 choices of sauce. The herb fries with parseman cheese are to die for...highly recomended!

Super tasty. Staff is amazing & friendly and the chicken is so fresh. This place looks very clean and the service is fast. I loved it! Sweet potato fries are delicious.

  • John F.

Absolutely great chicken tenders and sides (I had the slaw and garlic fries). Their chicken is cut from the tenderloin and never frozen. Each tender was served hot, very tender and juicy. Their dipping sauce is also made fresh. I didn't have a salad, but from what I saw, a lot of people had ordered them and they looked very generous and fresh (they also have a house dressing that seemed popular). Like everyone has mentioned here, the employees and the owner (Joesph) are very friendly. There was always a good crowd, but service is fast and they are always cleaning and tidying up continuously. To finish off your meal what better way then a home made chocolate chip cookie (also made on premises and half off between 1-2). Your won't be disappointed.

OMG. Can you put a Super Chicken near the Medical Center? Pretty please?! Started coming here after the recommendation of a client. I was hesitant, I've been let down by most other Greenspoint area restaurants, but so glad I gave it a try. I think it's literally my favorite chicken, ever. Three piece tenders only $6.99. Not to mention my love of the fries, the herb and cheese fries, only $1.99, so delicious. It's almost better that Super Chicken is on the other side of town. I would be very afraid I would eat those fries every day. The only down side is the soda, tastes kinda funky. I believe that's the norm for the area since I have never had good soda anywhere in Greenspoint.

  • Karen S.

Great find nestled at the end of a shopping strip. Don't let the area decide your stopping to try this gem tucked back in the corner. The place is open Monday-Friday between 10:30-2:00 only, but it was packed! They have several chicken selections; tenders, soup and salad. We selected the chicken noodle soup and the tenders. While the cost was more than a chain restaurant, I would expect it for a sit down style restaurant. Also, the servings are much larger than a chain, so consider that when ordering. We could have settled for a 3 piece tender basket. The food was brought at different times; soup first and several minutes later the chicken. This was odd, but my kids didn't seem to mind. The soup was full of breast meat, celery, carrots and egg noodles. The broth was very flavorful and reminded me of a homemade soup. The chicken was served up piping hot and crispy! The fries were not as fresh, but I wish they were as the sweet potato fries were very good warm; can't imagine how much better they would have been fresh. Pros: quick service, very attentive staff, decent prices, many sauce choices and large portions. Cons: would like to see a Cajun version of the chicken, have all diners served at same time (in one party), and fries should be hot and crispy. I would definitely come back to this restaurant!

Such a solid salad. Awesome Grilled Chicken and great veggies. Its so hard to find a filling salad here in this town that feels fresh and healthy as well. I can't wait to take my friends there. The owner gave me a homemade woopie pie. That was my first and I'm sold! Can't wait to go back when I'm not on a diet. Waffle fries. I see you.

The food is great. I had the buffalo grilled chicken and bacon melt yesterday. I have also had the chicken tenders with a good selection of sauces. On Fridays they have awesome steak fingers with white gravy. Food is served quickly and it is fresh.

I met my boyfriend here for a mid work day quick lunch. After scouring "The Yelp" for places that fit within the "no shellfish, no cajun, no mexican, no red meat" guidelines I was given I found that the universally loved yard bird was a safe bet. With 4 1/2 stars in accumulative reviews, I buckled my seat belt and barreled down the freeway to get me some chx. By the time I got there (which was only about 10 min after my lunch date), he was already seated with our food. I was astonished at size of the sammich that laid before me. I wanted something a little healthier so requested the Famous Chicken Salad Sandwich, because I know that loads of mayo is great for my thighs, and he opted for the Chicken Bacon Melt. I wasn't thrilled at first with the chicken salad. It seemed to be lackluster compared to the beast that my date was eating. I got back to work with left overs and found myself throughout the day sneaking in the break room to stuff my face with that sandwich. I think after letting is sit for a little while the chicken salad softened the bread making it a chewy, crunchy, sweet and savory combination. It was superb. During lunch we also had some of their chicken strips and garlic fries. The chicken was perfect, well, the breading really. The fries were thin cut and salty with pieces of minced garlic. I'm drooling. Ideal lunch location: Strip center parking, re-arrangeable tables for small to large groups, speedy quick line and free self dispensing refills. I think I may need to set up another mid work day quick lunch very soon.

I read the reviews on this place and wanted to like it. Isn't that what everyone says? Of course I really wanted a good experience each of the 2 times I dropped in. I love finding little gems like this place. It actually reminds me of the place from "Breaking Bad" a very nondescript Chicken restaurant that does not stick out in the strip center and you really have to look to find it. The manager could be the head of some drug cartel. Kidding of course. However twice I have ordered the chicken and it seems a bit rubbery. I learned on "Bar rescue" this sometimes occurs when they use frozen chicken. Maybe I watch too much TV. On another note, I like the sweet potato fries waffle style but they just did not make up for the Chewy Chicken. Did I mention the people were really nice and helpful? Still got to go with two stars. I might consider going back because the options in this area are limited. If so I reserve the right to amend and add/subtract a star. Also I heard the salads are good but can't say for sure.

Delicious chicken strips. Well seasoned. The sweet potato waffle fries were impressive. The chicken and the fries were both delicious dipped in the house sauce. Friendly staff. Great place to go for lunch

With a name like "Super Chicken" who could resist? I was intrigued by the name and the high rating on yelp, so I ventured here on a Friday with my brother and a couple of co-workers. The unassuming shop is easy to miss in a rundown strip center that is off the beaten path. The austere interior is a stark contrast to its competitors Zaxby's and Raisin' Cane's. The ordering process is easy and they get through the long lines in record time. The slowest part in the process is waiting in line. The food came out lightning quick; although, my sweet potato waffle fries were room temperature. They obviously adhere to the ready-to-eat model rather than the just-in-time model; however, the food was still delicious. The chicken strips were crispy and incredibly moist. I can't comment on the consistency of production, but on that day the chicken strips were perfection. They were the best chicken strips that I've had in recent memory. The price point is dead on and they offer far more sauces than either Cane's or Zaxby's. I'm glad that this delicious chicken is only 15 minutes away from work. It's close enough to quell the cravings that are sure to come, but far enough away that my waistline shouldn't suffer too much.

I had their chicken tenders and they were great! Not like normal fried chicken tenders, their batter was unique and produced a crunchy but not caked on texture. Their fries were also good and they have many variations. Will definitely put this on my "regular" list.

I think I found me a new lunch spot for work!! Anyone working around the Greenspoint area knows that your options for lunch is very limited to a few places to eat with the majority of them being your typical fast food establishments.... I'm always looking for new places for lunch while I'm work and today I happen to stumble upon Super Chicken! I placed an order over the phone on the way there and when I arrived it was ready for me so I was in and out and on my way back to the office! I ordered the famous chicken salad sandwich w/ sweet potato fries since the lady who answered the phone said that's one of the most popular items on the menu... The chicken salad had toasted almonds and grapes and the bread tasted fresh even with the 10 minute drive back to work! The sweet potato fries were also DELISH!! Great place for lunch and with the limited options that I have here for lunch I would definitely go back!!

Delicious! I am so glad I found this place on Yelp! Thanks Yelpers! The owner was really nice and explained the menu/concept/what was popular/etc. I will definitely be back. Their freshly made chicken strips are superb. The herbs and spices used make your mouth want to do the happy dance. This place for lunch gets a 5 star rating. I've had the chicken strip po boy many times and it's hard for me to try anything else.

Awesome juicy delicious chicken tenders. Can't believe I found this place on the north side of Houston. The waffle sweet potato fries are the best fries you can ever eat.

Wow! Just a little sandwich shop..right?! Let me say that the people working there were so nice and easy to convo with! My daughter and I went here on my day off to try them out! I had their big seller, Buffalo Chicken Melt! Which is shredded chicken in a hot wing type sauce covered with melted cheese and I think it has pepperoncin peppers and tomatoes as well, all served on a french bread type sub! Wow..so good!! They have a few choices of how you want your fries with that, sea salt, garlic or herb and cheese! This place was a little difficult to find, we made many loops on the Beltway lol. Only down side..it's only open Mon-Fri 1030 to 2pm, so if you've got time to head that way for lunch..I highly recommend it!

The chicken is no doubt amazing. Not exactly a innovative concept, but the execution is worthy of a mention here on the interweb. I'm all for the little guy in business. Mr. Chicken is a hands on guy with good people skills and always makes sure the customers are happy. I have to knock off one star for only one reason. The coleslaw. Not that it is bad. Oh no, quite the opposite. In fact, probably the best I've had. My issue is with the portion offered. It's container is already inadequate in size, but for crying out loud fill the thing up. Cabbage has to be the cheapest veggie out there, pound for pound, so why skimp here? I consistently get a half scoop of cole slaw which only leaves me wanting more. I've even foregone the fries for a double portion which was in a slightly larger shot glass partially filled. Is this some kind of sales tactic? If so, well played Mr Chicken, well played indeed. I'll be back for sure.

I would say for this area it is pretty incredible. My associates and I are here once a week. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. On top of the awesome food, the owner is always there and always provides a friendly face and excellent customer service. This place is definitely a Win!

4 piece chicken tenders with herb and cheese fries. The oner is SUPER friendly. I could definitely feel his passion for his business from him and his employees. I walked in, ordered at the counter and waited a max of 5 minutes in the comfy chairs by the drink machine before I was on my way. The location was easy to find - literally right across the freeway from my job. Parking was a breeze.

Wow, definitely impressed with this place, especially considering it's in the Greenspoint area. Went in here with lowered expectations given the lack of quality restaurants in the neighborhood, but was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself is very clean and well kept, and the service is friendly and quick. Tried the chicken po-boy, the sweet potato fries, and the garlic fries. Especially LOVED the garlic fries. This place is sure to become one of my lunchtime staples.

Food is ok-- it's all chicken. Atmosphere is crowded, loud and dingy. Personally I would prefer it look cleaner.

It is very tough to find consistent food in the Greenspoint area of town. Super Chicken is not just consistent, but also very good. They have a variety of options so that you can eat healthy here as well. The chicken is cooked great and has an amazing flavor. Plus the super sauce with sweet potato fries is awesome.

The chicken fingers here are big, moist and tender. Try the broccoli salad with bacon. It is an awesome side dish! Super Chicken is superior to any of the national chains. I plan to visit regularly! David W.

Had the PoBoy chicken strip with awesome sweet potato waffle fries. The homemade cookies were a great finisher. Great service service, owner came around, he was extremely nice.

So let me start out by saying I love chicken. When I was a vegetarian, chicken was the one meat I missed the most, and now the protein I always order when I go out. Burgers and bacon are fine, but nothing brings me back to being a kid quite like chicken tenders or bbq chicken does. I was visiting some family in Houston last week and my cousin took me to Super Chicken. I live in LA where things like mayonnaise and fried chicken are four letter words, but I was on vacation so phrases like "gluten free" and "steamed kale" were not in my vocabulary. Super Chicken is clean and comfortable inside, and I really like the way they decorated the walls with framed pictures. We ordered our food and then sat down. The staff was all very friendly and accommodating and made sure my cousin's one year old had a child seat right away. Anytime I write a review, I always give huge points for customer service, because without it a business will not thrive. Our food came quickly and OMIGOD, it was awesome! I had the best chicken salad ever and the portions were HUGE. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but in LA 5 dollars will get you a tiny chicken breast with a sprinkle of salt and that is supposed to be normal. The amount of chicken they gave me so so massive I had to take half of it home for later. My cousin got the chicken tenders and the batter and spices were great! Not too thick or overly cooked. I also got a mountain of sweet potato fries which were better than any I get back home. The food was delicious and the customer service perfect. An A in my book, now if only we had one in LA!

Hidden gem for lunch in the area! The staff is courteous, the owner SUPER (hehehe) friendly, and the place is clean and inviting. Don't judge it by the outside or you may not go in. I've been several times now with co-workers, and only once were my chicken strips not fried to perfection. Everyone I went with on that day said the same thing sooooo maybe a new cook? Someone in training? Who knows! But the sauces are great, sweet potato fries are AMAZING and I will definitely be back. Super Chicken... who knew!

I have to say driving up to this place I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of it. I love it when I'm completely wrong about things like this. Ordered the grilled chicken bacon melt with the broccoli salad on the side and it was all super delicious. The mixture of raisins, bacon and almonds in the broccoli salad was perfect with the sweet and crunchy and the sandwich was absolutely amazing. Very glad I decided to make a visit here!

Food is great. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere is great. Very friendly staff. Can't go wrong with the tenders or chicken salad sandwich. Not a fan of the salads.

Heard about this place from another coworker. It's in an awkward, very hidden location in a strip mall. The area isn't in the best part of town, but we are talking about Greenspoint, so as long as you go during daylight, you should be good. Speaking of daylight, they're only open from 10:30 to 2:00 and rightly so. They cater to the working professionals in the area. Smart move for a newly established restaurant in this economy. I went with a few coworkers. Two of us had the chicken tenders with herb and chese fries with the Super Sauce. The super sauce wasn't overly impressive but did provide a nice flavor instead of the basic ranch/honey mustard/bbq sauce/ketchup routine. The chicken was excellent - the strips were of good quality with no random chewy pieces. Very juicy with a nice light crust. My fingers didn't feel greasy, nor did I leave in need of a bath. The fries were tasty as well, though they haven't quite mastered the cheese/herb combo sticking to them. What I did like about the fries is that they too weren't greasy, but light and crispy. The other two had sandwiches which looked divine. Good portion sizes for the price. The garlic fries need a bit more finesse (pressed garlic over fries? Zzzz....I like the concept but not the execution). The owner/manager was fully visible at all times, greeting people, offering refills and picking up/delivering food. He gave us a sample of their chocolate chip cookies which were better than Subway's typical boring cookies. They tasted fresh made from scratch. Our cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu; she even offered recommendations. The place itself is tiny and bare, but when you're in a hurry during the busy day you aren't interested in too much fluff. We liked the background music (Adele) and the place was very clean. Overall I'd say this restaurant was very good. We will definitely be back and hope they survive the economy. For something so new, the typical kinks weren't a big issue; I'm looking forward to seeing it grow and change.

I work just across the tollroad and have been to Super Chicken twice now. Chicken Strips are hot, fresh, crispy, juicy....delicious. I've tried the sweet potato fries & garlic fries, both divine. Super Sauce is exceptional. I don't eat the slaw, but my co-workers eat mine for me, so it must be yummy. Broccoli Salad is so good. Green Tea & Sodas are self-serve and they also have cans available for purchase. Large, absorbent napkins!! This is important to me, lol. Some areas that could use improvement - they only give you one sauce, you will need at least 2 for a 3 piece meal. My friend only got one for her 4 piece meal, and had to request an additional from the waitress, which was subsequently forgotten. They out these really thin paper liners in the plastic basket, which get destroyed when using your knife & fork. Lastly, their straws are too thin & hard to drink out of when you need a big gulp! The owner is very visible and always there. Service can be kinda spotty during the lunch rush, but food is on point and the price is right. The place is clean, don't let the surrounding strip center deter you--go there!

Let me just start out by saying that i'm not even a big fan of chicken strips...Well, I wasn't. Until now, that is. A co-worker of mine came back from Super Chicken one day and it smelled so freaking delicious and it looked even better. So, of course, the next day I had to go. It's a cute little place. The line was crazy long but went by super fast. They call you up to the register by how many are in your party. Customer service is awesome. Big plus. Wait isn't long at all (if you're ordering to go, like I did) and like another yelper mentioned, they do play a good mix of music. I have been three times now (in a matter of 2 weeks...FOR SHAME) and I have only ever ordered the chicken strips. I keep telling myself I'm going to order a sandwich but when I get up to the register I just. can't. do it. Perhaps one of these days when i'm feeling crazy I will. Until then i'll keep enjoying my tenders with buffalo and creamy horseradish sauce and sweet potato waffle fries. Damn good.
