So I have been going to Buzzbrews for a few years now. I think my first visit was actually New Years 2008 or 2007. I'll be honest, I love love love diners. But I will try to sum up the ins and outs of this place ***INS*** They have really good breakfast which can be hard to find. I am so not a Waffle House, Denny's , IHOP girl--I like it a little less commercial, a half-cut above MickeyDs and a lot more home-made tasting. Might I recommend the french connection or the banana pancakes.. They are always open...this is a huge plus for me. I can be a night owl and I hate limiting my late night options to greasy bar food or tummy feels funny fast food FREE Wi-Fi...nuff said (none of that 'hotspot' mess just bring in your laptop already) Desserts are pretty darn good...I find myself in a fix for that Chocolate Kuhlua bundt cake. The carrot cake and italian are good too. Love love love their fries..unfortunatlely only the Lemmon Ave location has them now...the 75 one has been out of a fryer for a while now Pretty good menu overall...I am so stuck on my fav dish (french connection served egg white omlet syle with a side of honey wheat toast--hello!!!!!!) I should probably experiment around but why mess with a good thing The food is not greasy at all and it seems a little healthier with the FRUIT, black beans, veggie options, soups and the like (totally noted) GOOD ATMOSPHERE if you are looking for something really low-key and laid back with a nice rotation of music ***OUTS *** Service can be very inconsistent! Sometimes you got smiling faces with a 'how-can-I-help-you' demeanor and at other times you have a 'whatchu want' look greeting you through a hollow hello. Hey I guess. It is what it is. I take my chances. NO ice cream to go with that darn delicious cake It does seem a bit pricey at times to be a diner TAX FREE NO MORE : ( (boo boo) NOTABLES: chorizo dip, hangover special, french connection, honey wheat toast, fish tacos, buzzburger deluxe, french fries (I think they have yet to replace their fryer so no fries)

We were looking for a good breakfast place near downtown. We struck gold on this one. I can only imagine the crowd at 2:30 am after the clubs are winding down at this 24 hour joint. A good variety of coffee and plenty of post alcohol comidas available. Not to mention the tight spaces and communal seating are perfect for continuing the evening with friends and strangers. For those of us that don't do that much anymore, the food was enough to draw 'em in for breakfast or brunch. I had the Amigas with chorizo, and my wife had the Hare Krishna crepe. Always a big fan of chorizo and spicy food, the Amigas was a perfect brunch dish for me. The black beans on the side sprinkled with feta were a nice accompaniment to the heart of the meal - eggs with chorizo, jalapeno and anaheim peppers, cheese and tortilla strips. Apply their YR YO (You Roll Your Own) instruction with the provided flour tortillas, and you have a great tex-mex breakfast. Although, I only had one bite, I would recommend the Hare Krishna crepe as well. It had a great sauce with avocado as the centerpiece. Delicious! Only wish it was closer to where we live so we'd have a chance to visit more often.

What a great retro-looking place. The soul food approach to breakfast food. I'm normally like omelettes, but definitely get the crêpes while you're there. You almost can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The orange juice is also pretty fresh. Definitely recommended for the post-hangover :)

The location is charming and inviting. I had the French Connection which was two crepes with chunky grilled chicken topped with spinach, and feta cheese over a house sauce. It was served with garlic potatoes they called "marbles" and toast. The portions are plenty. I recommend the mocha latte and the homemade lemonade. Service was friendly and fast.

So please don't hate me for this review since it's not for their famous breakfast dishes. I came for lunch and had the salmon spinach salad. It was a good salad with plenty of strawberries but the walnuts were crushed to the point they could have been mistaken for bread crumbs.

I went to Buzzbrew's on a friend's hardcore recommendation. The prices are a little higher than I expected, but I thought that was okay if the food was worth it. I ordered a standard breakfast and a Dr Pepper. It was mediocre. Their garlic potatoes are okay. I am a huge garlic fan, but these potatoes almost seemed TOO garlicky and that's a really difficult thing to use too much of for me. The service was mediocre. They weren't super busy (there were 2 other tables occupied, and one of the tables was one guy on a laptop and he'd clearly been there awhile) but the service was oddly slow. Drink cup would stay empty for 5 minutes before it was noticed. This was my only visit here, so it could've been an off day. We all have those. I'll probably try it again at some point in the future, simply because 24 hour eateries are limited around here. I just hope it lives up to the expectation set by other reviews here and my friend's recommendation.

This location gets minus 1 star compared to their sister location on Lemon Ave. due to their inside overcrowding and limited parking- and the other location serves alcohol! :) They can be moderately priced, but do run daily specials. This is an upscale Waffle House, if you will. A coffee house like Cafe Brazil. They have a very similar menu, with similar flavors, and being 24 hours is a definite plus for ending a night out drinking with breakfast with drunk friends. ;) You can Yelp here, as well!

been back twice since first review, service was way better even when packed, maybe the dude was having a crap night. This is now my 16 year old's new favorite restaurant.

Two words: Bluto Blast I recommend this place to anyone that loves a savory breakfast. This one will blow your mind. The location is a little awkward to get to seeing as it is connected to a little hotel but the food is incredible and the coffee too. Go and get the Bluto Blast. It is incredible. Friends love the Banana Nut Pancakes too.

Good ppl watching, good food, great coffee. The prevalence of skinny women in tight dresses and no cellulite in no way stops me from enjoying french toast or cheese covered whatever. Love this place.

Food was very good, lots of variety in the menu. Food tastes very fresh. Good coffee, and friendly service. Atmosphere is hole-in-the-wall-ish.

Just ate breakfast here yesterday and the food is pretty good. It depends on my mood what I decide to order but you can get eggs, bacon and toast usually goes well with their salsa. The french toast on their special bread is also delicious. the husband usually orders a Mr. C and he loves it. The potatoes tend to be a bit spicy so watch of! There are no mimosas at this location but there is BYOB. Love the coffee selection!

A friend and I had lunch today at noon and it was soooooo gooood! It's a tiny little place so a group of more than 4 isn't gonna work. We didn't have to wait but the waitress/hostess said we had just missed a big rush. We immediately got a table but had to ask for it to be wiped down. There were only 2 tables available. I had the Build Your Own Crepe (bacon, spinach, red onion, red bell pepper and monterey jack) - it comes with a fruit cup and toast. The crepe with the pablano cream sauce is AMAZING! Best fruit bowl ever - blackberries, strawberries, pineapple and only a tiny bit of melon. Most places give you a whole lot of cheap melons... Friend had the French Connection - it comes with garlic marbles and toast. His was really tasty too! We both had coffee and it was good...not that watery want-to-be-coffee at other diners. I had never heard of this place but so glad I tried it. Would definitely recommend to locals and visitors alike.

The Bluto and the Hangover special are my favorites here, going here at late nights will give you a wait for sure but it's worth the wait.

I like the food reasonably well here (what else can you get at 3am?) but they have the worst service I've ever experienced. I won't be going back there again!

Breakfast obsession. Consistent and delicious. I always get the salmon since I discovered it once and I lick the plate clean every time. But I also always eat everyone else's food here, so I can tell you that EVERYTHING is good. Also have Kombucha on tap, and I have a serious Kombucha love-affair, so me and Buzzbrews are pretty tight.

I am a fan. It is a small old school feeling diner type place, especially compared to their big location on Lemmon. The place feels somewhat like Cafe Brazil but with a little edgier feel. I like their "Mrs C" breakfast but there are lots of good options with mixes of breakfast goodness just depending on your preferences. It is a little funny that in order to go you park in the motel parking lot. I also love that it is open 24 hours. Even though Dallas keeps growing and growing there are surprisingly few places that are open late or open 24 hours. I also am a pretty big fan of their coffee. I like Starbucks but I like their coffee better. it is a little less acidic and I don't have to add so much cream. Buzzbrews is a good breakfast option (at any time of day or night)

Buzzbrew is one of the best breakfast spots around; if you're looking for that laid back and communal experience it's probably the best. This particular Buzz is really small. It's attached to a motel. So parking and seating can get very tight on those Saturday and Sunday morning when everybody is trying to get out and get breakfast. But the food and experience is so worth the small inconveniences. The wait staff has always been super friendly and most are pretty funny. They genuinely appear to be having a good time with what they are doing, unlike some places where you wonder why they even came to work. The coffee bar is the first place you notice, because everyone is going back and forth getting coffee. Yes, you have to get your own coffee, but that is part of what makes it Buzzbrew, it's that communal feeling thing, I love it. Plus, the coffee is some of the best around, seriously. But my favorite thing is the food!! OMG! When I come here I always build my own egg crepes...the sauce on the crepes is probably one of my favorites of any of the sauces I've had anyway. I usually go with something like black beans, smoked bacon, tomatoes, and jack cheese. And the other dish I really like is the Cobb salad, it has it all in there; grilled chicken, warm ham, eggs, etc. and a wonderful jalapeño ranch dressing on the side. It's Huge!! And if you follow my reviews, the one thing you know I love; "fresh" ingredients. And Buzzbrew is hands down tops in the use of fresh foods; makes the dishes taste so much better. Do yourself a favor and go and enjoy the people and the food! It's worth every minute.

Why haven't I gone here sooner?? Hello? This place is AMAZING! I was a little iffy at first because of the location and how small this place was and the fact it was next to a hotel. We walked in and this place is really tiny. Thankfully it wasn't packed when we got here. Our waiter answered all our questions. We started off with their chips and homemade salsa which was really good. The chips were really nice and hot with the perfectly seasoned salsa. As my meal, I ended up ordering the French connection which was amazing. It was two crepes stuffed with grilled chicken and veggies with their poblano cream sauce. It was so good but the garlic marbles that came with it was just okay. Someone at the table ordered the Mexibuzz and it was really good and flavorful. Even the black beans were really good. We ended our meal with a slice of the kahula bundt cake. It was really delicious and not dry at all. I can't wait to come back here and try other items off the menu.

Came with Yelpers Tiffany D., Michael D., Evan O. Decor: 3/5 -cute little diner -no restrooms?! WTF -open 24 hours! Service: 2.5/5 -average Food: 2/5 -Hare Krishna had too much cheese but you get a decent amount of food -French connection was great and flavorful. This is a great choice. -Carrot cake was bleh, I've had better. I only got this in an attempt to satiate my sweet tooth.

Nothing special about this place. Location is weirdly placed in the parking lot of a motel..Mediocre food, not that friendly of staff and the tejano music was blaring from the kitchen. :/ They did have a good selection of coffee.

Still going to IHOP to cure hangover hunger? Time to upgrade to Buzzbrews! This diner is amazing. The food is super fresh and they have a ton of vegetarian options! The French toast is excellent, as are the breakfast veggie migas. Really, I doubt you could go wrong with any of the dishes here. So good! Hint: this location is super tiny, so be prepare to wait for a seat or take your order to go!

Awesome coffee, amazing food. Great atmosphere (really tiny!). I try to go once a month and buy a pound of coffee when I leave. I recommend the Bluto crepe, however the Pit Grill Griddle Toast and the Pancakes are equally amazing.

I had high expectations based on the reviews but the service was HORRIBLE. It was peak service time but there were lots of open tables and plenty of servers. No one came by our table for 10 minutes then we ordered drinks and it took another 15 for a cappuccino and frozen drink. Our food came out after about 40 minutes because it was obvious he forgot to submit our ticket. My boyfriend and I are both in the service industry so we are understanding but this was an excessive disappointment. It was obvious our server could care less about anything. The food was a 6 out of 10. Not worth the trouble.

The first time I went to this buzzbrews the servers were polite and helpful. I love their hangover chicken soup. The next time I went last week I sat at a table for almost 20 min without so much as a hello, Ill be there in a minute, here is a menu or we're backed up I apologize. I watched as they all bussed tables and chatted away with people. I sat at a dirty table next to the server station waiting. I was well aware they saw me. Now, I work in the service industry so I was more than patient but when I had to get up and ask if I have a server or not after 19 min you are doing something terribly wrong. After I asked, the gentlemen gave me the most lackluster "oh'. Not "im sorry I didnt see you" or " wow, let me get on that right away. Just "oh" handed me a menu and pointed at a place I could sit. By this point I was outraged and told him this was unacceptable. He said "ok" and walked past me. I will not be returning to this location.

This place is unreal! I had the french connection. Let me first say in have never had a crepe before. It was beyond amazing! The perfect combination of flavors. For a place with such a large menu for I wasn't sure if their execution of dishes would be good...let me tell you....it is spot on!!! I like that the breakfast is served with a bit of fresh fruit. Good size portion too. FYI garlic marbles are actually sauteed potatoes with garlic ( I was unsure if it was actually garlic lol. I'm sure I would have liked it anyway.) The place is on a corner tucked in a hotel parking lot. Easy to miss. The place is far smaller then I anticipated...which makes it a bit cozier. Parking is limited too but.....its all worth it in the end. I usually don't go to places more then once....but I can tell you next time I'm in Dallas I'll be coming back here!!! BTW....they do have bathrooms but they are outside...but inside at the same time....you'll see.

Yum yum yum! We waited about 20 or so minutes for a 4 person table here a few Sundays ago and man, it is SO worth it. They always have a different coffee flavor I love and the food never disappoints. I got the Amigas this time and I'll probably switch back to my French Connection next time, but not because of anything wrong with my new dish. Servers are friendly and not over bearing which is something that can completely ruin a meal for me. Food comes out quickly and you will definitely be satisfied with the amount. I do recommend getting banana pancakes as a side dish to split with someone else as those are delicious as well.

So I am a huge fan of Buzzbrews on Lemmon, gave it 5 stars, so I was in the area & wanted to try this location off 75 & Fitz, BIG mistake. We actually ended up not staying for our meal. They do not have sweet potato fries here, YUP you heard that correct, NO sweet potato (other location has them) Very odd. They said they don't have a deep fryer & that's why. Hello there are other ways to cook a sweet potato ARG. I hated the ambiance here, way small & crowded & not relaxing or roomy at all like the Lemmon location. Music too loud on crackly speaker. big pet peeve. There's a cheapie motel 6 or whatever right behind it, just bad icky area, parking is insane, you just can't tell where your supposed to park! I think this place used to be a Waffle House, I get those vibes lol. Either way we ordered water & our food but told the waitress to cancel the order, we were headed to Lemmon location for more comfort & some damn sweet potato fries!!! I won't be back here, eveerrr

Me and my friends were looking for an IHOP late, very late on a Wednesday night. I swore up and down that my girlfriend would LOVE the Swedish pancakes with lingonberry sauce...but since there was NO IHOP in the immediate area, they mentioned this place. Buzzbrews...so I was totally game... I recently had a bad experience at Cafe Brazil, and this place immediately reminded me of that...the ambience and all. BUT, it was way better! Menu had alot of meatless dishes which I liked...ended up getting this scrambled egg-white crepe thing. It was yummy and it came with fresh fruit! No nasty potato like Cafe Brazil. And the service was excellent. I would come back here for sure! Three Words: NIGHT OWL MUNCHIES

Insomniac's dream: Full-service breakfast, full assortment of serve-yourself coffee and fresh grinds, wifi. Walked in, David gave me the low-down when I said I hadn't been in before and he handed over the wifi log-on. If it's 1am and I'm staring at the ceiling, I'm headin' down 75 to kill some time. Five-stars because we need many, many more places like this.

LOVE this place! Wide variety of interesting (and healthy!) foods - including cactus! Also lots of different types of coffee. Great environment, friendly waiters, open 24 hours, free wi-fi...what more do you want? Be sure not to miss the turn into the parking lot -- it's just before Buzzbrews. Otherwise you'll have to loop all the way back around since it's off a one-way service road.

This place is awesome. It's quirky, full of personality and a great little diner for late night eats. I've had many fun times here! The waiters/waitresses are always peppy, and they are very understanding of the (have-to-be-annoying) drunk folks that stroll in all hours of the night with huge appetites and off-the-wall requests. You would think that waiters/waitress would get slightly annoyed dealing with that, especially in the middle of the night, but they are as happy as ever and seem to LOVE their jobs! The food has always been good in my opinion, and I've never left this place hungry. Next time you are craving food at 3am, try out Buzzbrews! Good food and always entertaining. You won't be disappointed :)

Small place with HUGE flavor! BuzzBrews makes everything from scratch except the jelly and the bread. My wife had the Popeye crepes: red onion, fresh tomatoes, spinach, feta, cilantro, and poblano cream. I had the make-your-own omelet: feta, tomato, red peppers, and garlic pearls (new potatoes roasted in butter and garlic), jalapeños. Absolutely perfect. The jalepenos were so fresh my mouth was on fire - in a good way! Fresh coffee was awesome! Black magic blend rocks the house! They have a self-serve coffee bar with about 6 choices of different flavors. Was tempted to try the BuzzBrew, but that Black Magic, ahhh, so good. Even the water was good, a fact that is likely unappreciated if you are not living in Texas, where most of the water tastes like it was wrung from an old dish towel. The location on Central Expressway is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I was way more impressed on this visit. I had crepes instead of the omlette. It was much tastier. The sauce on the crepes made my head spin around it was soooo good. And they couldn't have put more meat in there if they'd had to. Seriously good stuff. The waiter was amazing. He was just the right amount of attentive. You know you get good service when you think to yourself...I could totally drink with this guy. This is definantly in need of a repeat...soon.

Definitely a better alternative to IHOP and Denny's and very on par with Cafe Brazil. We went late on a Tuesday night so the place was pretty empty. It had a nice atmosphere even though it's so tiny I could reach out and touch the people sitting next to us. The boyfriend ordered the Amigas plate (scrambled eggs with peppers and other stuff served with black beans and two floor tortillas). He usually never ever eats black beans but he LOVED these ones. The few bites I managed to steal from him where seasoned great and had a lot of flavour. I have to give Buzzbrews a lot of props for making beans that he actually enjoyed! We are definitely going to come back when it's filled with crazy late night party people. Sounds like amusement for hours.

The new location, at last. After driving by the new Buzzbrews on three different occasions, I finally found it. From Oak Lawn, head west on Lemmon Ave Drive past Monica's, drive past Wendy's Turn right on Herschel That's it on the right in the funky pink building. Park. The outside of the building will throw you off and you'll never find it, so don't even bother looking for Buzzbrews. Just follow my directions. The new location is much more spacious, shiny, and grunge-free on the inside. They even have a hostess stand. The employees are also a bit more polished looking, and there are cliche' portraits of famous musicians hanging in the walls. This is definitely the posher of the the two Buzzbrews, and I personally like my 24 hour eateries on the greasy spoon side. That aside, the waitstaff was really nice. The food was tasty too. I had the Hare Krishna, and it was topped with tomatoes and big fat avocado slices. I think the quality of the food at this location may be better here than the other Buzzbrews. I'm still mad a Buzzbrews for raising their prices; $8.50 is too much to spend on an omelet or chicken quesadillas, but I like having another late-night food option. I mean, after I spend $50 on Irish Car Bombs and Jager shots, what's another $8.50?

  • Jeannette A.

Buzzbrews is one of those diners that doesn't disappoint. If I'm in the area late night it's a must. I agree with another reviewer that the French Toast is off da hook! Their omelets are good as hell what more can u ask for?

  • Orlando V.

I love this place, yes it's a little expensive but i rather go here than Ihop. Their OJ is great and the Mean Black Bean and the Hare Krishna is great too. Small cozy location near the highway, so don't expect a over hyped Dallas view....All and all good breakfast. Enjoy it, I did.

I never write reviews so this one is worth reading. 4154 N Central Expy May 1st, 2011 9:00-9:15PM: Walk in, sat at the counter, order food and talk to a patron who was complaining about how long the food took to get there and how his steak was nearly raw. 9:30PM: 3rd non-kitchen employee (very small diner) comes in and begins work. Perhaps coming back from break or something. 10:30PM: (yes you read that right, my iphone kept me content, I was patient) Employee who walked in at 9:30PM now has food in front of her and eating on the other side of the counter. I very politely asked how much longer it'd be. Waiter yells across the diner and no one listens. Waiter then walks away. 10:32PM: Waiter comes back and says "He said once the chicken lays the egg they'll kill it and it'll be ready". I reply "But I didn't order chicken" and the waiter replies "Oh well" and walks away. 10:33PM: Took a second to absorb what I heard, I couldn't believe it. So I calmly walked out to go find somewhere else to eat. Their food might have been good, but I wouldn't know? I should be furious right now, but now I have a really bizarre story to tell and bigger things in my life to worry about. If you go there, I hope you get better service than I did. Not sure what the deal was, I'm just a clean cut working class like everyone else, not sure what they didn't like about me, I sat quietly. Good luck!

I would give the food 2-3 stars on a normal day... but due to an experience I will never go back. Ordered a breakfast menu item, eggs with avocado... the eggs were clearly cooked on the same surface that fish had been cooked on. (Fishy eggs... gross) The management was rude and made gave me a hard time while I asked to have the item removed from my ticket. Won't be going back, EVER. Even if it is a block away from my house.

My favorite breakfast spot in Dallas. I've been here (and the location on Lemmon) countless times, mostly after drunken debauchery at various places in Dallas...so I have a formula and I stick to it...95% of the time, I order the steak and eggs. They are nice enough to substitute sauteed spinach for the griddle tomatoes (since I hate tomatoes). Steak is always cooked to perfection and seasoned well, Or if I'm in the mood for breakfast breakfast, I order the build your own omelet. Eggs are fluffy and the omelet is full of yummy and fresh ingredients. For you fellow non-pork eaters, try the veggie sausage...it's delish! I've tried both the hazelnut and toasted almond lattes, which were awesome (but a little on the sweet side). I haven't tried the new Buzzbrews in Deep Ellum yet, but the food at this location is better than the one on Lemmon. Oh, and I'm not sure why people said there isn't a bathroom. A simple inquiry to someone who works there will tell you that there is. Go back out the entrance and enter the other door on the little patio. Relieve yourself. Wash your hands. Exit out the door and reenter the restaurant. Rinse and repeat.

My boss and I had a late flight into Dallas for a convention the next day and we were starving once we got to our hotel. Luckily right next door was a 24 hr diner. From the outside it doesnt look too impressive but the inside had a 60's rockabilly feel and the music matched the decor. We knew this place is known for their breakfast and assortments of coffee but we decided to order dinner items. I had the veggie quesadilla and my boss had the chicken chimmichuri. The first thing we noticed about the food was its vibrant colors! Bright red tortialla chips garnished the plate along with bright orange bell peppers, and lime green from the guacamole. We knew we were definelty in for a Tex-Mex treat. The food tasted deliciousand was very reasonably priced. I would recommed this place to be featured on the Food Network show-Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. A hidden gem in Dallas.

Healthy, and bursting with flavor. Coffee is good and, thankfully, they sell the beans. Californication crepes are delish and so are the pancakes. Service can be uneven teetering on surly and, though the occasional homeless loiters around the patio, pets are not allowed. "Ambiance" is definitely diner, free wifi is nice. This would likely be on our weekend breakfast spot rotation if they reversed the dogs on the patio decision, upgraded the bathrooms and improved the 'tudes of the wait staff.

I had the veggie veggie. Solid, filling meal and open on thanksgiving morning. Check out their menu. Vegetarian friendly. In Dallas, nonetheless. The place seemed like they had good coffee too. The building is pretty small, not for big parties.

Review on breakfast only. So here it is...I can not justify spending $28 before tip for two people to eat breakfast. Buzzbrews is on the same level as Cafe Brazil or Kerby Lane (if you have been to the Kerby in Austin). It's nothing special... So I order basically egg whites (which there is an upcharge for), bacon, and potatoes. The bf orders an omelet. We each get a coffee and I order an orange juice. In my mind, this is a $15 - $20 meal not $28 flippin dollars! Don't get me wrong, the food was decent and the service was good. But there is MUCH better breakfast food in Dallas for a lot cheaper!

So I'm staying at this little hotel on business and there's a funky diner in the parking lot.... it's not Dennys, it's Buzzbrews. And it's great. I don't say this lightly - Buzzbrews has excellent drip coffee. Really very good coffee. I'm kind of a snob when it comes to coffee - I've got an Aeropress, a hot pot and a digital thermometer for making bold yet bitter-free coffee at home. That a diner can produce such good coffee on a diner scale is most impressive. No cream needed here - it's just fine black. The food is pretty good too. The Bluto omelette was just the right size, with just the right kick of spicy, same with the potatoes. The unusual chipotle hot sauce they put on the tables is pretty dynamite too. I might have to stay at this dingy hotel more often, if only to get my coffee here.

This place definitely has its own unique character when it comes to decor. It's colorful, fun and entertaining to the eyes with the comics and illustrations everywhere. I so wanted to love this place, especially because of some of the reviews I've read, but my my experience here was unfortunate. I do like how it is one of the few 24 hour establishments..but....no thanks.. We came here in the weee hours of the morning after celebrating our Mavericks win the NBA Championship so it was definitely busy and full of crunk folks, but I didn't mind that at all...what went wrong was everything else... First, there was no one seat us, and when the server finally approached us, he just said "are y'all gonna sit down?" and leaves off to do something else ..ughhhh OK, where?...we'll just take a seat after you clean off that dirty a$s table! We finally sit down and we wait and wait...until the BF gets sick of waiting and walks up and gets our own menus..another 10-15 minutes go by and the server comes to take our order in a rushing and rude manner, and it takes another 35 minutes for our food to arrive...and immediately after the server places our plates down, he places the bill down too --Seriously? We've been waiting and waiting and now that our food is finally here, you want us out with the quickness? THIS IS ONE OF MY BIGGEST DINING PET PEEVES. Ughhhhhh! As for the food, I ordered the steak & eggs and the BF ordered pancakes with bacon & eggs. Both of our sunny-side up eggs were the only decent part of our meals, it was almost the perfect sunny-side up eggs...My steak, on the other hand, was pathetic as can be --it was more on the well-done side than the medium that I had ordered, and it was an extremely thin piece of steak considering the fact that they "ran out of steak" and I opted for the only choice of meat left, the ribeye. It definitely smelled funny and left a disturbing after-taste, as if the steak was left out too long before cooking... I tasted my bf's pancakes too and they were nothing special..I think IHOP has better pancakes than that... Overall, we were both extremely disappointed in both the food and especially the service. The server definitely rubbed me the wrong way right from the very beginning, and I can honestly say that I couldn't wait to leave the establishment with the quickness!! We would have done better going to IHOP or even to Jack in the Box next door!! P.S --and their $3/glass of OJ was not worth it.

There's something a little bit off about Buzzbrews. Not in a "milk about to go sour" way, but more in a "I think I got too much back on my tax return" way. When you first walk in, it feels a little overcrowded, noisy, and maybe a little bit dirty. However, the staff is friendly and attentive, seats you quickly, and you realize the noise is because there are, in fact, a lot of people in this tiny little space. I had the Simple Simon Says with avocado and my food came out quickly. The bacon was cooked to a perfect crisp, and the eggs were as I ordered them - over medium (most guys can't figure this one out). The coffee was excellent with bottomless cups. Even when I was finished eating and drinking the last cup of coffee I could contain, I found myself wanting to stay and didn't feel rushed by employees to leave. Overall, excellent local hit for diner/breakfast food. There are little things they could do to improve - the toast was made with boring bread, the jam was the consistency of really foul cough syrup (yet tasted like heaven), my long legs made sitting at the bar really awkward. Nonetheless, I'll be back again and bring friends.

Another brunch staple, though good at any time of day. This is one of those places that's easy to miss - it's kinda buried along Central Expressway, camped next to a motel. But don't let the outside fool ya - what awaits inside is divine. The coffee is great - if it wasn't, it'd be shameful for a coffee house, right (I'm looking at YOU, Starbucks!)? Service is always great, food is organic, largely local, and has that elusive combination of "comfort food" and "interesting twist" that so many places try for these days. From crepes to eggs to french toast, I've never had anything that wasn't awesome. Try the French Connection - you're welcome. They serve mimosas like this: a pitcher of orange juice, and a bottle of champagne. Mix your own, y'all. And coffee's just a few steps away. What's not to love?

Small facility, big taste. Awesome fresh squeezed lemonade (probably the best in town), delicious fresh squeezed OJ. Although the pancakes were dry and almost tasteless, the migas were friggin fantastic! The salsa that comes with them is a great accompaniment, unlike the watery stuff other places give you. Lots of coffee options with unlimited refills for only $2.50. Their specialty coffee drinks menu looked real good, though I didn't get a chance to try any of em. I'm lookin forward to the newer location (mainly cuz it seems more spacious).

So after a good night of watching the World Championship Dallas Mavericks destroy the Heats and having too much to drink aka celebrating time! Me and a buddy needed some greasy yet awesome breakfast food to sober us up, we decided to hit up Buzzbrews. I like the concept of a very tiny "diner" and everything looks pretty much affordable and they have every type of breakfast foods and surprisingly there was a huge options for veggies lovers. I got the chicken san miguel and it was a great thing to cure a night of celebrating too much, but nothing too special though. The service was good, although there was only one waitress working that night which is odd, but she did a great job. Overall I still think Cafe Brazil is better and Cafe Brazil has more appealing choices for me, but buzzbrews and Cafe Brazil beats Dennys and IHOP any day.

I'm a fan! This is the orginal Buzzbrews from what I heard. We ordered the bluto and bananna pancakes, both were delicious. Since the restaurant was small and I had the center isle table I learned quick to tuck in my elbows and watch out for big fat dudes that have big asses. When they bump into you, when your eating, especially with a knife in one of your hands it can be really interesting. Just sayin....so get a booth!

Ok, so i think the waitress may have been partaking in some laxed marijuana laws but being it was 1am and i was hungry this place didnt disappoint. Great egg sandwich and coffee to fill the belly. My wife had the migas and i finished what she left. Somewhat suspect area adjacent to a motel but worth it big time.

One of the best breakfast spots in town! Their oatmeal is fantastic (I think because its made with cream). It also comes with delicious cinnamon toast. Their crepes are also really good and savory and you have lots of options for vegetables. The Fitzhugh location is a fun weekend brunch spot and its always a good time to see the "next morning" breakfast dates where the girls are in their night club outfits from the night before and the guys are in their weekend wear. At least they took their date to delicious breakfast after a night at his place!

I happened upon this delectable food spot at around 10 pm the other night when I was starving! I'd missed dinner as I rushed from a late class to an even later workshop session. Boy, am I glad I did. It was somewhat unnerving trying to find it, though, because of the construction and lane diversions along the highway bordering it. Thankfully, when you get right up on the restaurant, there is a clear sign. So, you actually can't miss it. However, once you turn in to the parking lot, it gets slightly unnerving again. Namely, because it shares (??) the parking lot with the motel beside it. There are no clear signs saying which spaces belong to what facility. However, I figured I'd be in and out, and didn't stress it (or ask the staff what to do). Once inside, the diner is quite small, with tables really close together. However, it didn't feel toooo claustrophobic. A plus, however, was my profuse drooling as I walked by and stared with everyone's plates. The smell of coffee also made me quite happy -- though I didn't have any since it was so late at night ... I hate decaf too ... Anyway, upon being seated, I glanced over the menu, but ended up asking a couple of people around me what they thought was good. Unanimously, everyone suggested the "French Connection." Maaaaaan, I'm glad they did. Sooooooo good!! Who would have imagined a simple chicken crepe would be so tasty?? And, I don't think it was just my starvation talking. Definitely was worth the selection, especially when considering the garlic roasted potatoes that came with it. AND the yummy bread (sourdough??). Somehow, I forced myself to eat half of it and save the other half for breakfast. That was the fight of my life, but my tummy thanked me the next morning -- just as good reheated as the night before!

In town for the state fair. The desk clerk at our hotel suggested Buzzbrews Kitchen. (It's in the hotel parking lot) We were very pleasantly surprised. Husband had the fish tacos. They were very tasty. They came with excellent black beans and avocados. I had the Honey I'm home salad with porkchop and substituted raspberry vinaigrette. Best salad I've had in forever. Fresh ice tea. We split a slice of Italian cream cake. Also excellent. Our server was Drexel. He made great suggestions, and was very friendly. He's really an asset to this restaurant.

My favorite midnight eatery. After a long night at the clubs this is the best place to frequent. They have CREPES!! They have a GREAT selection for veggie hungry patrons. The place is a lil small when it gets crowded, but if you dont mind being elbow to elbow with your neighbor, you will enjoy the food. Btw, coffee selection is fun to choose from. Its self serve. Enjoy. ;))

What you need to know about BuzzBrews: - They are open 24/7 so no matter time day or night they are there to feed that hungry tummy. This makes this a great place for breakfast or a late night bite after a night of boozing it up. - The restaurant is small and seating is tight, so get ready to get close to your neighbors, cause chances are you will be close enough to hear their conversation. - Self serve coffee. I personally think this is genius. They have a wide variety of coffees to choose from. Just grab a cup, prep and pour. Go back to the coffee bar for refills. Also, if there is a certain brew that you just love you can by beans or grounds to take home. - Portion sizes are big. Plenty to fill you up and reasonably priced for the large amount of food you get. - The artwork on the walls is all done by local artists and is for sale. - My favorites are: the Breakfast Tortilla Wrap, the Griddle Toast and the Nopales.

Though it's out of the way, I prefer the Lemmon location. It may or may not be because they serve wine. I'll let you decide. If I'm there to eat and not crank out a paper while using the free wi-fi, I get the mean black bean crepes with chicken and avocado on top. ROCKIN'. My friends get other stuff, but the last time I got something besides my usual, I got the nachos and they had mint on them instead of cilantro. Easy enough mistake to make but EWWWWWWWWWW. The service is usually pretty great, but I'm not going to be writing sonnets about the coffee. I once asked for an iced coffee and got a pint glass with a few ice flecks floating in it... I expected more from a place called Buzzbrews. And yet, I know I'll be back.

There are few things in life, better to me than starting my day with a giant cup of delicious coffee and getting to listen to Parliament Funkadelic. Honestly, I had to reset my I-pod after having breakfast here the other morning in the hopes of recreating such a fantastic vibe. I chose from a vast array of coffees and was served with a giant cup a delicious latte that went well with my omelet that morning. The waiter service was prompt, but relaxed at the same time. (It fit perfectly with George playing int he background.) My omelet was good - it was very creamy...I can't for the life of me remember the name of it - but it lacked a little crunch. When I put it on my toast, it became perfect. My husband had an omelet with chorizo in it and it was very well seasoned. A good wake-me up breakfast. I can't wait to go here again!

While the food here has always been extraordinary, especially for what you expect from the atmosphere, the service this week has been atrocious! I was here on Tuesday and was ignored while the man working flirted with the two women in the booth near me. My drink sat empty until I was ready to leave and then when I was finely attended to, I was offered a to go cup. Today, I waited more than 5 minutes before I even saw a staff person in the restaurant. During that entire time, another woman's food was sitting in the window getting cold. Perhaps Quiznos is a better future choice.

Despite being walked in on while using the bathroom by a group of a least 5 questionably oriented gentleman I really enjoyed my time at Buzzbrews. 1:30am to 3am on an early Sunday morning to be exact. We arrived with a group of 6, I was not driving that night and was arguably drunk. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito, subbing black beans for the eggs. What arrived was an insane, out of this world, what dreams are made of breakfast. Fresh, tasty, plentiful! I chowed down like a gal just out of prison while taking in the bright colors and eclectic groups of tables around me. Vegetarian friendly and has a bar?! 2am, the waiter takes my wine. Boo TABC. Others' at the table ordered pancakes, waffles and an egg sandwich of sorts. All received smiles with mouthfuls of goodness and thumbs up between fork grabs. Buzzbrews, I will see you the next time I am in Dallas, and hopefully by then, I will either have mastered locking a door or perhaps you can look into the issue?

I tried this place this weekend for the first time... it was delicious! I had the Pit Grill Griddle Toast.... Oh Heaven... the two griddle toasts topped with powdered sugar, and real Vermont maple syrup was AMAZING!!!! My friend got the French Connection and it also was Amazing!! Can't wait to go back... I am still thinking about that real Vermont maple syrup!!!

Tired of the typical IHOP and Denny's after club fare, a friend of mine introduced me to the glorious BUZZBREWS. Much more than a typical diner, this place has fantastic food and an artsy atmosphere. Think Soho New York coffeehouse with an upper Manhattan kitchen. I highly recommend the Mean Black Bean.crepes. But anything you get here will make your mouth VERY happy.

This was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. I had these chicken crepes with avocado on top and some potatoes on the side...mmm....It was yummy. I was there at night, and got great service. A girl with a lot of colorful bracelets and pens was attentive and very friendly, and gave me the idea to add avocado to my dish, which was definitely the thing to do! I'll be back to have morning breakfast and try some of the more exotic coffee flavors.

I got "conned" into coming here by a luring lady friend wanting to grab a bite after the bars. I was AWESOMELY surprised! You ask one word to some it up, "indie". It's a nice decor, and even more fitting that it's next door to a motel to fit the bill. 3am (Wednesday night) it wasn't to busy. I asked what the soup of the day was, zucchini (broth). I was tempted to try it but I opt'ed for the typical egg sam'ich ($8). I definitely liked how they had chipoltle sauce on the table. I'm a spicy fanatic! Service was quick and simple. I struck a few random conversations with patrons at nearby tables. Instead of Cafe Brazil, you'll see me here next time :)

It's late night and the group of Texans I'm with are constantly saying, "Meet us at Buzzbrews"! I had no idea what they were saying or talking about. That wasn't until my friend drove up to this place and I realized it was a restaurant. A small, eccentric restaurant sitting off of 75 and Fitzhugh. I really liked how fast the servers were with getting everyone seated and attended to. Their menu had just about everything on it my heart would desire, but somehow I ended up ordering the Breakfast Tortilla Wrap. The wrap was ok, and to my surprise, the veggie sausage was the best part of it all. The Garlic Marbles as they call it (sautéed potatoes) were so fun to eat! They were a little spicy, but tasty. I didn't love the wrap, so I am hoping I will get a chance to come back here and try something else on their versatile menu. Until then, A-OK!

This used to be my joint back when I used to work close by. My favorite thing used to be what I believe is still called the mean black bean omelet. Okay if you have not had black beans in an omelet with cheese all up in that mix let me tell you it is delicious! I like that they get so creative with their dishes here. Everything has a fun spin to it. There are several locations to get your Buzzbrews grub on so go get some.

A 24-hour diner with "healthy", eclectic food options and good specialty coffee drinks--is this even possible?! It is at Buzzbrews! The place sends off more of a "Austin-hipster" vibe than "old school diner", despite what you'd gather from the decor. Even though I was here at dinnertime, it seems to be more of a breakfast/late night food spot. The menu certainly points in that direction. (There are so many good breakfast options that I think you can stick to that at any time of day.) My favorite thing about Buzzbrews is the wide selection of vegetarian options and unusual foods. For instance, this past visit, I got the Nopales (marinated cactus in an egg scramble with peppers, onions, and tomatoes with corn tortillas and black beans on the side). And having REAL Vermont maple syrup is a huge plus. Along the same "not your typical diner" line, Buzzbrews has a great selection of drip coffees (five to choose from each day) and espresso drinks. Even if you're not a coffee drinker, The Original Steamer is great. Perfect for warming up on a (relatively) cold winter day in Dallas. Other items that looked good include the Hare Krishna, Californication, and Mile High. On the negative side, I thought the drip coffee was a little pricy for a diner and parking can be a bit of a pain. To get the full experience, I'll need to come back after 2 a.m. sometime. I'm sure the clientele will change considerably!

I hit up Buzzbrews that day before the Superbowl, and it was either full of Highland Park-ers with cabin fever from the Dallas ice-pocalypse or with Superbowl attendees staying at the Best Western right next door. I couldn't tell which. In any case, how is it that such a great little spot is RIGHT off the highway and yet is still so easy to miss? I literally live just blocks away and yet it took me ages to notice it. Now that I've been there, I'm a big fan. I love the coffee bar with like eight different kinds of coffee. Of course, since it's bottomless you do end up paying $2.50 for this coffee bar and I ended up with a latte since it's the same cost, but if I was using their free wi-fi late at night, the bottomless would be a great deal. And ... their menu is great. Brunch food served 24 hours, creative dishes, and really well made. Their toast is really crispy, more like British fried bread, and their fruit cup actually has things in it other than cantelope (I hate cantelope-heavy fruit cups). It's a diner atmosphere and a cramped space, but it's fun. It's maybe a little pricey for such a laid-back place, but the food is good so I guess it's worth it.

Hey I was tired when I rolled in here after it taking forever to get to Dallas due to wildfires delaying traffic so I'm sure I wasn't in the best if moods and really wasn't up to the attempt at deciphering a menu that attempted to be hip & trendy with its food descriptions. Place wasnt crowded but the solo waitress wasn't the most attentive but as stated my attitude coulda been off putting. Anyway I went with a straight forward option on the menu, Filet Mignon, and dammit it was reasonably priced and surprisingly well prepared & tasty. All I can say is the food was good & you definitely need to give it a shot. Don't be put off by the fact that its in an old gas station and is so small you couldn't cuss a cat without getting hair in your mouth. All part of the ambiance & I do love tiny holes in the wall that know how to sling some hash & these folks know hash slinging.

A cool scruffy alt college feel prevades, and this translates into the service, which can or cannot be charming depending on your perspective. The food is generally good with a breakfast slant, and they offer plenty of vegetarian options, including veggie sausage. Expect people hanging out working on laptops, can get noisy, small space. The Best Western this this diner is attached to, should feel lucky to have such a cool association. Freeway views.

Great Place if you are looking for a 24 hour diner... many coffee choices but I dont drink coffee. Many vegetarian choices on the menu too! I highly recommend. It can fill up late night with the college crown coming home from a night out of drinking, so be aware when you go super late... But a great place for a easy Sunday morning...

This place is yummy. To be fair I think it's kind of awkwardly located, since it's sitting in a hotel's parking lot, but the food totally makes up for it. The decor looks sort of like and old diner and it has creepy paintings of celebrities on the walls and their menus look kind of Lichtenstein inspired, pretty cool. I like their logo a lot too. I had the Mean Black bean crepes and my husband had the Pit Grill Griddle Toast and both dishes were pretty amazing. My favorite were the French toast covered in yummy walnuts and powder sugar. Holly crap there are goooooood! I really appreciate the fact that they offer lots of vegetarian choices and their prices are pretty reasonable. The guy who helped us was super nice and he took great care of us. I would definitely go back again and again!

What a fun spot for late-night food! Even though it's set in the Best Western, Buzzbrews is the perfect spot for a quick bite of breakfast food in the wee hours of the morning. The food isn't incredibly special, but it fits the bill.

Visited Buzzbrews while in town for the Final Four. It was raining heavily outside that morning, and there was a leak in the ceiling dripping into a bucket in the middle of Buzzbrew's dining area. Maybe not such a great start? But aside from the rain and the coziness inside, the food and coffee were really good. Truly a dive but with excellent food! If I'm in town again I will return.

After a late night drinking my friend and I went to Deep Ellum to recover with copious amounts of food and coffee. Buzzbrews was our destination and it did not disappoint. The coffee buffet had a great selection of fresh, very flavorful coffee. If that's not enough, as it wasn't for me, your server will happily brew you something stronger from the espresso bar. I had one of the best cappuccinos EVER. My friend got the French Connection and loved it. I what I think was called the Hippie Miss Piggie, eggs stuffed and topped with slow cooked pulled pork and LOTS of other goodness. Absolutely delicious. Our waiter was outstanding as well. Incredible service.

I usually don't write a review for a place I've only been to once, but I must say - it was yummy! I had the Hippie Miss Piggie omelet for brunch and about 5 cups of coffee. The self-service coffee bar was the one of the smartest features - at least 5 different flavors and I tried each one. My favorite was the Texas Maple Pecan. Definitely going back for dinner and drinks.

Overall: Great small dive off 75 to pick up a quick but hearty and tasty breakfast. Most items have somewhat of a Tex Mex style. Atmosphere: Small dive next to Best Western. We went during a week day so it wasn't very crowded, but we can see this place being packed for weekend brunches and late at night after people are done partying. Food: We got Mr. C and Hippie Miss Piggie. Both had good flavor and had the right amount of kick. They were priced under $10 each.

Came here after a rowdy night of giant jenga and bloaty beer. I used to come here pretty often back in '09 when I worked up the highway and it was just as good as I remembered. Maybe even better?! Garlic marbles, the Bluto (crepe style), and an Italian soda and man, I was all full and happy for the rest of the night. The marbles were easily the best part. If you're a potato fan, throw down on these bad boys. Service was fantastic, music was even better. I love the decor. Bathrooms suck though. Someone totally puked in the ladies' and then clogged it up. I guess I should've told someone, but I don't know how to tell someone to fix their shitter in a nice way that doesn't make me feel awkward and guilty - what if they thought I did it?! Anyway, good portions, good prices. I fucking hate Cafe Brazil, so this is an excellent alternative, especially since the good bars are spittin' distance away. If this were in Ft Worth, I'd say go to Ol' South instead, but since it's not, go here. I don't know, I'm incoherent. What I'm trying to say is, I had a good experience here.

I literally just ate at Buzzbrews... 30 minutes ago for some birthday brunch. Haha. I'm this excited. I couldn't choose between the Banana Nut Pancakes and the Bluto, and the waiter said... get the Bluto. So I did. Once that plate hit our table, I smothered it in the chipotle hot sauce and ate til' there was nothing left. My mouth was on fire, my stomach was singing, and it was amazing. The mix of chorizo, bacon, and whatever else was in that thing was awesome. And everyone is right, their coffee is pretty darn good. And he let us take a cup to-go also. My friend got the Hare Krishna which was also f-in amazing. The feta totally makes the dish. Bluto me Buzzbrews!!! Thanks for a great start to my birthday!! :)

Hello Buzzbrews, sorry it took me a while, but now that we've met we can be friends! And, good ones at that. I went with a Bluto which is either an omelet or a crepe made with the aforementioned Mr. C, house chorizo concoction. Well, when it came down to it, I chose omelet on the basis that you get the breakfast potatoes (garlic marbles) with it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE me some fruit, which would have accompanied the crepe, but I freaking love me some breakfast potatoes more. I don't know why the love affair is so strong, but it is. We'll leave it at that. I was very pleased with my plate. The chorizo didn't have the scary red oil of death and it had a great flavor to it. The diced veggies and eggs were nicely cooked, I gobbled it down. The garlic marbles I liked, but expected more garlic taste. If you have garlic in the name, it should bring it. The toast was better than your average white sandwich bread, and the fruity jam on my plate was a yummy addition. My server Grace was friendly and attentive without being all up in my biz. Much appreciated. My one little quip though...the menu said that the taxes are included. Even went to say no pennies, dimes, or nickels...ok, fair enough. So why then on my bill did I have 1.65 of tax? Was this not included? I was confused.

This place made me eat my words almost literally. My ladty friend and I were visting the Dallas area from Austin for the holidays and the entire time we were there I realized it is next to impossible to find a place to eat local. Granted we were staying in the Frisco/Plano area and all there is out there are chain resturants. Austin is renowned for its local flavor of food so it is always a culture shock when I head to another city and I cannot find a hole in the wall or a family owned resturant. So before leaving a friend wanted to meet us for breakfast, and he recommended that we meet here. The entire time we are driving down 75 I am hungry and complaining about how I could never move back to the N. Dallas area because there is no good local food and how I really miss the Austin food scene. Well we pull up and the mural on the wall makes me smile and I begin to think maybe this place won't be terrible. We sit down at a booth and order our drinks and begin long conversation and totally forget about the menu. Our waiter is super nice and really patient when we ask him to come back a couple of times due to our inability to shut up long enough to read the menu. After laughing at the glossary to help you understand the menu we finally order our food. Our friend ordered the Banana Nut Pancakes, Girlfriend order the Egg Sandwich, and I ordered a Bluto Omlette. I was really skeptical to order something with chorizo but they completely nailed it. This was probably the best omlette I have had from a greasy spoon. I am sure the crepe version would be just as good. The egg sandwich that my girlfriend ordered was massive and delicious and just like mine came with a side of marble potatoes which had the right consistency and a really good spice. Also both came with a large slice of pineapple but I believe the fruit changes with the season. The banana nut pancakes were massive and looked good although I did not try them our friend had no complaints. Thank you Buzzbrews for showing me that there is some hope for the Dallas local food scene (at least the part we were staying in). And don't worry I will come back any time I am visiting.

Was looking for a decent breakfast at 4 am and found this place on yelp. Was blown away with the quality of food especially at this hour. The pepper crusted salmon was amazing.

Food is delicious, but service is just too slow! Took ~1 hr to get out eggs...BUT, the servers were friendly, chill and just a bit funny. The ambiance kind of sums up the whole experience. Slow, but delicious, funky but oh so Texan... In short, not bad for a weekend brunch! Mr C: **** Griddled toast: *** Coffee cake: ****** !!!!

When I first moved to Dallas, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A BAR! LMAO!! (BUZZ...BREW, you see why?!) Now that I know it's not, I love walking to Buzzbrews for lunch when I have enough time. I've been to the Lemmon location as well & it was great, too. The only thing I don't like is how long service takes (both locations). It's ALWAYS slow & if it's busy it's UBER slow!! So if you go, make sure you are not in a rush! This location is tiny & it can be hard to get seating. I do love the waitstaff here, though. They are very sweet. They have lunch specials all the time. All my friends love it & so did my mom when she visited. Dishes I love: banana walnut pancakes, stuffed crepes, poblano chicken sandwich, and avocado grilled cheese (not even close to your typical grilled cheese)!!! Drinks I love: Chai latte, baby!...or a flavored espresso latte :) Pluses: Open 24-hours & free Wi-Fi :) I also love how the place has personality!

I find that waaaaay too many yelpers cannot or do not even attempt to separate the overall quality of an establishment from their one experience there. It is possible for someone to have a bad time at great place and vice versa. For my one and only time at buzz brews I had at best a 3 star time but I could tell that the restaurant on it's own is a solid 4 star eatery. It was the bizarre parking situation, the difficulty in getting there when going south on 75 and the rushed crowd of customers that made me not have the best time but the great food, coffee, service and ambience spoke of a very good place to eat. Be warned parking here is strange and the turn in from the feeder road comes up quickly and is very easily missed. Basically you need to turn into the motel right next door to get there. There were no reassuring signs telling me it was okay for me to park in non 'reserved' spots at the motel but by process of elimination I parked there. I was really confused and kept making long blocks going back and forth before parking. Having this knowledge beforehand would have helped and it sure would be nice for them to put up some signs. After taking a leap of faith and parking I was rewarded with a delicious version of migas and excellent varieties of fresh brewed coffee. The service was good and the place had a cool energetic feel. This is a small place and it felt somewhat cramped but honestly it wasn't too bad. I was there when I wanted to linger so I felt a little rushed by the late morning holiday crowd but if I would have been on my way someplace the fast service would have been welcomed. The menu was eclectic and interesting and the selection of self serve coffee was outstanding. This is a quirky joint where one has to exit the building to find the way to the restrooms. I bet the next time I go I will have at least a 4 star experience.

We have been to buzz brews all around Dallas. All of them are awesome. I highly recommend the egg sandwich. It's huge and amazing. Love the flavor. The staff is friendly and service is always great. I think our favorite location is on Lemmon. The 24 hour one. Also, the Julie's jubilee is great Love the griddle toast tooty fruity. I substituted for French toast or pancakes I think. Friends said the banana nut pancakes were good too.

AWESOME!! Don't be fooled by the fact that this place is rather small and seems to be connected to the motel behind it. what it's lacking in size and well, maybe parking, it so makes up for it in atmosphere and the food!! It has a happening, hip type atmosphere!, the waitstaff are all very friendly and helpful. I had the californication and tasted the veggie veggie plate and was surprised as to how good a vegetarian meal could be. Yummy!! They are known for the wide variety of coffees and my goal is to try allllll of them! Then the name seemed perfect.. Buzz brews lol!! I will be Back!! Ihave to try more of the food and get my buzz on!!!

Buzzbrews. The name is certainly misleading. You might thing they offer beers to keep that buzz going while re-aligning for more debauchery. The name actually refers to (I'm guessing here) the vast array of coffee they have available. Not a drop of booze to be found. That's ok. Because the only times I find myself here is about 2:30-3 AM, and not willing to chow down on typical, mundane slop one might be more prone to after a decent night out. The coffee is great. Bottomless like most places, but what stands out is the wonderful choices that are available on the food menu. They satisfy vegans, vegetarians, as well as offer up some sumptuous options for meat-lovers too. Options, I think, are what makes a restaurant great for everyone. It's not all deep-fried, gut-spasming, pre-vomit like they serve up at IHOP (although sometimes I still find myself there, alcohol is great), you can get inventive salads, fruit, oatmeal, hot soup, nachos, crepes, eggs, chips and salsa, there is something there for everyone, even those with maddeningly-frustrating dietary restrictions. Last night I was feeling adventurous and went for the veggie burger. It was alright, but I could see they put some real effort into creating a nice meal for someone who is a vegan/vegetarian. The bread was lovely and thick, wheaty and not soggy, the veggies were fresh, and instead of whacking a glob of mayo onto the sandwich, the waitress ASKED me first! Points for that! Nothing's worse at a restaurant than biting into a delicious looking sandwich and realizing that the chef has been liberal with what may be considered the most vile condiment every created. The veggie patty itself was kind of weak, no flavor, just texture, but hey it's a veggie burger. Buzzbrews might do well creating their own recipe from scratch using black beans, quinoa or mushrooms. This place also seems to have a strange infatuation with a creation they call "Garlic Marbles". Just say it out loud a few times. Sounds pretty good right? -Well here's the thing. They aren't very good at all. They always seem to be a pile of undercooked new potatoes, strewn about unapologetically on a plate. There are different varieties available, some with cheese on them etc, but they are all equally disappointing. The way the menu seems to prod their clientele to get a portion of their "Garlic Marbles", you'd think these things are awesome, but they are mediocre, nothing special. They always seem to appeal to me, and I fall prey to the description on the menu, last night being an exception. The staff are attentive, and take good care to get the correct orders even if there is a line out the door, which there usually is after the bars close on weekends. Props to them! Also most people in the restaurant are really friendly, everyone seems a bit buzzed (booze not coffee), which makes for easy conversations with other tables, lots of smiles everywhere. It's worth going to, so go. Bring a friend!

Came for brunch on a Sunday at around Noon. Love the small diner feel. The restaurant had a good flow of people (small wait, nothing too bad). Sat outside to the view of a Best Western parking lot (eh...you can't complain when you have nice Texas weather) Entree: - Bluto (5/5) - Yum!!! Chorizo and potatoes were great! Toast was saturated in butter:/ - Hippie Miss Piggie (4/5) - Main thing, this comes with egg whites & a smaller portion of pork than a man would like. Boyfriend ended up eating most of my Bluto. Finished our plates clean!!! Not a GIANT Texas sized portion of food, which is sometimes a good thing :D (still a full plate though) Service (2/5) - They sat us outside and forgot about us. Saw the waiter to take our order, bring out the food and give us our check. Not even sure if the guy was our person or not.

Im not one to use the race card but today is definitely that day..an African American family was waiting in front of me, My group and I Latinos..we all had been waiting for about 15minutes for a table..as soon as white family walked in, they got seated immediately..when I noticed it and the African-American family noticed, we complained and their excuse was that the hostess was new when we mentioned discrimination, I was flabbergasted by that statement being that they were not racist because even Hispanic work there, as in they forgot that minorities are always stereotyped as the help..Pretty sad to walk into this place that I love to eat that when I'm visiting Dallas... Not to mention this is the second time that a discrimination issue has happened at this same establishment... Unfortunately I stayed here to eat because I do love their tortilla soup but the African-American family left which I probably should've left too..this is the family they bypassed us for :/

The place looks and feels like a dive, but the food is great! Everything is organic and fresh. The French toast is amazing and the veggie sausages were better than we expected. They also have an assortment of teas and coffee flavors, which was a huge selling point on my end! Definitely coming back.

Locally owned. Great food and great coffee. Love that is in the parking lot of a motel. Environment can always enhance your eating experience. Mrs. C is what I ordered. Add fresh avocados and fresh mushrooms and it's even more yummy. Yes, fresh mushrooms, not canned. Why canned mushrooms exist I don't know. Check out this small dive! Sit at the counter to meet friendly locals and or people traveling:

I'm really glad they don't have one of these where I'm from because I would gain 500 pounds. This place is awesome. If you have vegetarian friends, they wont be upset because this place definitely caters to the veg crowd too. We arrived here at about five a.m. after a night of drinking and late night swimming. Luckily we apparently had just missed the late night crowd so we didn't have to wait for a table. Despite this, it took me a while to order because everything looked so damn good. I ordered the breakfast wrap(I think that's what it was called) which was basically cheese, eggs, and veggie sausage. It also came with a side of garlic marbles(basically garlic potatoes) which need to be in my life right now. If I'm ever in Dallas and I'm awake at 6 a.m. and I'm hungry, I know where I'm going.

I stayed in hotel next door so ate there at 5 times. Great place but the service is super slow even when i was the only customer. They also seem to want to push these cold undercooked potatoes. I kid you not, 5 times i got undercooked cold potatoes that were obviously sitting there for awhile. Veggie burger is awesome/amazing. Coffee is mediocre. Iced tea is Great Spinach is Delicious. Get some decent waitstaff or manage the place better. Its a good thing but your guaranteed to loose it with such bad managed staff.

Minus one star for the tight space and skeptical parking lot. Everything else was great! Love how it's open 24/7! I did my homework and read some reviews, eventually getting the French connection (crepe). The French connection comes with a perfectly toasted toast with strawberry jam on the side. The crepe has mushrooms, other vegetables and cheese. Can't remember what was inside because I ate it half asleep. It also comes with garlic knots? Pretty much potato balls cooked in garlic seasoning. It added a nice touch to the creamy crepe. If you have any room for dessert, try the nutella crepe and let me know how it taste. If you're not a fan of good food then don't come here bc you'll be disappointed. I just wish they would open one up north instead of having them all south of 635. Truly not a fan of driving down into this area.. I plan on visiting their other location because parking here was a bit... weird? Just to let ya'll know the Buzzbrew sign isn't visible at night so look for a small building next to a motel.

Meh. Every time I come here, I think the attention to detail with the food will improve over the last time I was here. Today pretty much does it for me. I'm not coming back. "Scrambled" eggs were worst than Vegas-style buffet breakfasts. They were fluffy in the inside (they're not supposed to be) and heat-lamp hardened on the outside. The bacon was undercooked and incredibly greasy. Service was also meh. Very little consideration for how my food was after it was served. The only saving grace: pancakes were good and coffee (as always) was great. Over all, I'm not coming back. I thought by now, there would've been a new kitchen crew, but to them, they don't feel like they have to impress anyone anymore since they're guaranteed business from the neighboring Best Western.

For all of those who have negative comments about this place you should all be DELETED FROM YELP!! My wife and I were in town for the Ronnie Coleman Classic in Mesquite! GO TEAM HUSLFit! Upon searching for breakfast spots other than your typical Denny's or lHOP we decided to try BuzzBrews and boy are we glad we did! Although small and crowded it was by far the best breakfast we've had in a long time (check photos). I had the Amigos with chicken, and she had the Hippie Miss Piggie with chicken (can't remember the real name lol) everything was hand made and the black beans were freakin amazing! Hands down 10 stars. The coffee selection was amazing (French Vanilla) and scenery was awesome too! Definitely have 2 new customers anytime were in Dallas!

This place is open 24 hours. I've been wanting to try this restaurant out since I see many of my yelper friends check in here all the time. One word - AMAZING This place is very popular for their breakfast, I can see why. One person ordered the french connection and it was really good. I ordered the mexibuzz which comes with marinated chicken rolled in 2 corn tortillas withe pasilla sauce and mozzeralla cheese, feta cheese, tomatoes an onions. It comes with rice and black beans. The chicken was so flavorful and not dry at all. Everything that I tried here was amazing, I want to come back and check out other items on this menu. If you want dessert, I recommed a slice of the kahula bundt cake, you will not be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I loved the food for our first time here. I had the griddle toast tooty fruity and it had a hearty heaping of fruit on top of the toast, which was ok. My bf had the buzz burger and he said it was cooked very well and he's very picky about his burgers. The service was pretty slow for a Monday afternoon but they only had 2 waitresses and one of them was either new or didn't feel like working today cause she took the longest to bring us some ketchup when we were basically already done with our meal. Definitely would come back and try everything on the menu because it looked and sounded delicious.

The thing that makes this restaurant stand out from all the others is that this place adds a lot of flavor in their food. Their chorizo is delicious, you have to try it. And if you are a coffee lover like I am, you will truly enjoy the different variety they have to offer. Try the banana foster (I was hesitant at first) but it turned out to be one of my favorites! I absolutely love this place! Wish there were more locations. Yes, it's just that good!

I only come to the Fitzhugh buzzbrews, usually on Sundays or Saturdays, and it's always packed between 10:30-noon. Came here at night a couple times and if you come at the right time (dinner time) there's no one there! Late night is packed. Pros: quick service, EXCELLENT toast, well-cooked eggs (to your liking) Cons: coffee is never hot enough, which is so, so disappointing Migas, build your own crepe/eggs, and nopales are delicious. Chips/salsa is good too! Not for a big group though, unless you come at a down time and get the back wall of chairs/tables.

Been here maybe four times, and always pleased. I'm all for more 24-hr (or even just serving later-night) options; so annoying when you finish some activity (seeing or doing a show, a concert, late work, whatever) and there's nowhere to go get a bite. So BuzzBrews gets kudos from me, just for being available. But, after all, Café Brazil did that too, and at some point, even the late hours couldn't get me into any of their locations--there was just something that felt off, and the food was almost always disappointing. I've been told BuzzBrews was started by people who had been with Café Brazil, but got frustrated with the quality level, so broke off on their own. Glad they did. The folks staying in this Best Western (the space used to be the motel's diner, I think) should be, too. I know I've had omelettes here, and fruit salad (well, a bowl of very nice, fresh, mixed fruit--not sure if that constitutes a fruit salad), some sandwich or other, and coffee of course. Sorry I don't remember more specifically (gotta start reviewing right after experiencing a place, instead of just by whim, when I'm on Yelp), but I've enjoyed the food and friendly service each time I've been here, and so did my friends. Haven't been to the Deep Ellum location yet, though I understand they have live music often, including a big jazz band on Sunday evenings, but I like the Lemmon Ave. one, especially for the Tuesday night Classical Open Mic nights--but that's another review.

Two stars for food quality. The food is good. The service I've experienced the last two times I have been in as been absolutely non existent. Have you ever stopped at a truck stop diner in the middle of no where and been greeting by a beat up lifetime smoker with probably a rough life who clearly does NOT GIVE A SINGLE care about how you feel about the service? Well this is that spot nestled off highway 75 close to uptown Dallas. I came in, sat down and waited to place my order while my waitress chatted it up with some older gentleman over coffee. Mind you I was in a hurry this morning. Feeling compassionate I said nothing and just sat there. I ordered the French connection no mushrooms. She brought the food did a quick 180 and went to talking to the guys again. It had mushrooms. I'm over this place. The food is good but I can't stand the service.

I don't think I've ever been here sober. But regardless of my intoxication level, I know when food tastes good. And believe me, this food tastes good, and the pricing is unbelievably low! The service is super-friendly, fast, and the variety of menu items at a pretty broad range of hours cannot -- must not! -- be ignored. The name is slightly deceptive, though... The "buzz" in their name comes from coffee, not alcohol... So feel free to pre-drink before arrival. It'll make the whole experience a lot more entertaining! One last note (and a super important one, at that) AVOID THE LEMMON AVE. LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! AT. ALL. COSTS! It is a dreadful location with abhorrent service, and to me, impressively BAD service overshadows any tasty food I could possibly receive there. I've gone twice to the Lemmon Ave location and both times, it's been terrible.

Food was horrible. Chicken was so dry I thought I saw dust when I cut into it. Plus the salmon was over cooked & day old toast had me spitting it out. Best thing was the hot chocolate. Stay away!!!!!!

I've been to this location and the their other location. Both are 24/7! I'd kick it with some friends after a long shift that ended in the mid-morning, the life of a server, right! lol If you make it out on a Friday or Saturday night, boy this place is a full house! I've had the french toast, Popeye, and my favorite- sausage tacos with cilantro and fried red skin potatoes. Plus, they sell booze! Foods great, exceptionally great, and the prices and just low enough to make it a regular thing The memories made here after a night of partying or after a long shift is kind of a reason I'm so fond of this place and just enough of a reason for you to get your butt out there and make an experience of your own.

Had the Californication omelette (there was also a stuffed crepe option....what?!) and it was DELICIOUS! Came w/ jam, some organic honey wheat toast, and fresh fruit on the side. My waitress was incredibly sweet, helpful about the menu, and just very considerate and kind for my first experience here :) I'll definitely be back!!

This place was great, definitely better than I expected given its Best Western location. The service was prompt and friendly, and we were seated immediately even though it was quite crowded. The menu is super vegetarian friendly, even offering a vegetarian soup of the day, every day. I enjoyed my food, and my omnivore friend was happy as well.

Great service, great food. Came across this place after a return from Vegas after having been up for a full 24 hours. I was starving and craving breakfast food. Well we found it. The Bluto Crepes are delicious and the Griddle Toast is excellent. Large portions so bring your appetite. Lots of flavor and fresh ingredients, as well as reasonably priced. Great late night spot too, as they are open 24-hours. Michael is awesome!!

Awesome late night menu. You and all of your drunk friends can meet up late night to make food decisions you will not regret in the morning! With a wide variety of sandwiches and breakfast items you can't go wrong. I think we ordered one of everything on the menu one night. The service was great especially will the crowd that was coming in.

Where to start?!!? Recently I've fell in love with this place. Always hands down a great experience. I love their "Toddy's, if you drink coffee you must try one. The food's off the charts too, I always leave their with enough food for lunch that same day. The staff's what makes this place better than great to me, they're all cool and happy to be there. Give them a try, it's a Dallas staple for a reason!

Okayy... my food was alright. I was for the most part enjoying it, it was towards the end of my meal that I was chewing and pulled a ling curly hair out of my mouth that I had to go outside the shitty establishment to vomit up all my food. The MANAGER/OWNER was sitting outside when I started to throw up, my wife had let them know why I excused myself and he had been called in... he took care of ONLY MY MEAL! After I thew up my latte and most of my meal THE LEAST HE COULD HAVE DONE IS TAKEN CARE OF MY CHECK! I found it ammusing that he didnt find it nessecary to want us to come back. NEVER EAT AT THIS BUZZ BREWS the staff will leave all the plate on the table until you get up and leave. The owner of the establishment doesnt give a fuck. If anybody ever asks you about buzz brews iTS A SHITTY PLACE WITH HAIR IN THE FOOD.

Think Denny's or IHop with a more diverse menu. The food was good and plentiful but nothing super noteworthy. For a 24 hr diner I was expecting the typical dingy Waffle House set up but was happily surprised that it was clean with ample seating. Service was great and our food came out pretty quick. I really liked the coffee bar. You can get as many refills as you would like and try the different brews. Prices are consistent with food quality. Parking at this location can be a challenge as it is shared with a hotel.

I've been to this diner twice now. The first experience was less than awesome. I sat at the bar since I was flying solo. It was a Saturday morning, I knew it would be busy but it took 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged (even my stares to the staff were ignored). I ordered the Bluto crepe. It was ok but the fruit it came with was very moldy. Not good. I thought I would give it a second shot today... However this time, the coffee pots were all mixed up and mislabeled. Flavored coffee is not my thing one bit and that seemed to be the only thing in the various pots of mislabeled coffee. I then ordered the Harry Krishna crepe and THEY FORGOT THE EGGS in it. How does that happen..? I ordered a side of bacon and it was burnt and cold. Needless to say, two strikes, it's out.

Basically a 24 hr "Cafe Brazil". Coffee was hot and good variety. Food options were good and service was quick. Cons were some food items were obviously prepared well in advance and were cold and hard ( roasted potatoes). Sparse but tasty filling in the quesadilla.

Being a marathon runner - there's two things I like doing on a Saturday morning - getting a 20+ mile run in with good running friends, and enjoying a great breakfast afterward to refuel. After exhausting a lot of the usual breakfast joints, a friend casually mentioned Buzzbrews as one of her favorite places. I'm always up to try a new breakfast spot. After a 18 miler we hit up BB. I'd like to think I've been here before years and years ago - the same small cramped spot, the same eclectic furniture and decor, but can't remember if it was still BB at that time, or if it was some other funky restaurant in that same space. Nevertheless, got seated quickly, ordered, and had our food out in what seemed like a blink of an eye. I did not have the coffee, which is what many people say is one of their staples/treats, so I can't make an accurate statement about the quality of their coffee. (Similar to Brazil) Their food, however, left much to be desired. I had 3 pancakes and a few slices of bacon. The bacon was nice and thick but had a bit of chew to it - not something I'm used to. Their pancakes - I have to say, I haven't had pancakes that bad in what felt like forever. I can't put my finger on where I've had those grease soaked pancakes before - but it tastes like cheap fast food style pancakes. Even McD has better 'cakes. I don't know if it was a copious amount of butter used on it, but I was just not impressed. The general consensus of our running group was that we've had better coffee and food elsewhere. If BB was started by a former owner of Cafe Brazil, well, they left all the good traits of good food behind back at Brazil.

Good Coffee. Intriguing Menu. More Coffee. In a city where breakfast dining, other than breakfast tacos and donuts, can be bland, Buzzbrews stands out. I loved the serve yourself coffee bar, but I would have loved to see more options. Our service was just fine, so I can't verify some of the complaints of others. The menu is an aggressive attempt at fusion breakfast, and they pull it off. I didn't stray too far from a typical meal, but others in my group did. We were all impressed.

I've only ever done breakfast here, but I've always been satisfied. However, they only have their special breakfast menu out on weekday mornings before 10am (and that's the one with all the stuff I love!). Maybe someday I'll be the morning person I aspire to and can get up to eat it, but for now I stick to the griddle toast, which is delish. The coffee drinkers I know seem to be very happy with the selection and quality of coffee, as well. If you're ever craving Nutella crepes and you don't happen to be near the Eiffel Tower, this is a great place to try. But last I checked it's only on the special breakfast menu, so set your alarm!

I am a person who loves breakfast any time of day... But it is hard to find restaurants that are good quality and decently priced! Buzzbrews does not disappoint! They have awesome omelets, yummy crapes, and combos (pancakes, eggs, & sausage) to satisfy any appetite. Their food is made with high quality ingredients... Oh yea, they have other kinds of food for lunch or dinner lovers as well. Oh, their coffee is wicked good!!! And if you are looking for 2am eats this place is open 24 hours. There isn't much seating but it is worth the cozy atmosphere.

A very good surprise while in town! Enoyed the Artsy decor with casual everything. Our waitress was singing while handing me my cup of hot chocolate. which by the way, was so sweet, it was a basically a desert. not complaining about that! WOW to the steak, eggs and potatoes my boyfriend ordered. Liked the two slices of Griddle Toast I ordered for me. A french toast twist, made with egg and cinnamon, maple syrup and powdered sugar on top. Everything i read on the menu all sounded yummy. They had lots of choices for coffees and drinks. Was entertained by their "Buzzbrew dictionary." They made up their own words. very fun! Will put this on my itinerary next time i'm in town.

My first breakfast experience at Buzzbrews was a great way to start my day. The servers were cool and confident in expressing their love for the menu items. After speaking with our waiter, I was promised that the other uptown breakfast establishments that I usually frequent would be soon forgotten once I tasted Buzzbrews. OMG! Buzzbrews is the truth! The food was beyond fresh and flavorful. Try the French Connection. It's a winner.

I was looking forward to my first Buzz Brews experience. My friends really talked it up. After having it, I fully understand why Cafe Brazil does the business they do and why we LOVE going there instead. All that hustle and bustle in the early morning hours after a fun night out with friends - Cafe Brazil just gets it and this place, well, it REALLY doesn't. Apparently, Buzz Brew's demographic is not the hipster affluent foodie types who hang on Henderson and are very local. At 5:30am-6am on a Sunday morning the only other people at Buzz Brews were a creepy middled aged man hovering in the corner on his computer and a man with his son whose legal status could have easily been called into question. I was so weired out by the computer man that I got the license plate number from his Dodge pick up when he left. That being said, I have never been treated so poorly in my life - -and it's a DINER. My friends are in the service industry and they were beyond fuming and mortified at the same time. Apparently we were laughing too loudly for the 2 other occupied tables. We were completely yelled at by a hostile male employee from across the counter. Yes, yelled at over the already blaring music playing over head. Rude and inappropriate beyond belief. My feeling is this...if you take on a job with early morning hours, you best have the personality and tolerance that goes along with it. Lauren, the manager, absolutely sucked and is most certainly not manager material. Poor Paige, our sweet server. She was darling and got the brunt of it. Trust me on this, stick with the tried and true Cafe Brazil where you will definitely have to wait for a table....it's worth it.

Seems like I have to try to combat the entire menu. Only because my wife orders the french connection and it's the most wonderful thing I have eaten! But I am determined to try everything! So I ordered the Californication, I just had to after reading the list of ingredients! When it arrived I thought it looked just like the French Connection. I ate almost half of my plate when I realized something was missing. Protein! No meat in this dish! And I thought this can't be that good and not have some type of meat inside! But it really was! This is probably the 2nd best entree that I have had here and I will definitely eat it again! Of course the Griddle French Toast are the greatest thing on the menu, this shouldn't even be up for discussion.

Lots of coffees available, special of the say was Luke warm but super strong! Cozy atmosphere and not over crowded. Pricing is great for the area and pretty big menu for such a small place. I had the combo breakfast with eggs came out fast

If you are looking for a place to eat. THIS IS IT! This place was incredible! I got the French connection and my fiancé got the bluto! Both of us were so amazed at how good everything was we wanted to come back the next day! I would recommend this place to all of my friends! Choose buzzbrews

I guess I can say I like the place, I went there Saturday and Sunday. Saturday afternoon it was empty and the food was amazing. My waitress was spot on with her recommendations. I had "Califormication" and "Misses Piggy" although totally different tastes but both were equally good. The place was empty and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable on the food. For desert I had some crepes with Nutella and bananas and took an iced macadamia nut coffee to go. Sunday morning I showed up and it was a madhouse. I pushed up to the bar and placed my order. Got my order fast, and pretty close to what I ordered... It was loud so I can't blame him. I'll be back next weekend prices are reasonable, food and coffee are good and the service is excellent.

If I lived near here, this would be a 3-4 times a week visit. Maybe more. Their coffee is top notch. (Had the cold brew, black) food is very tasty and service is quick. Hard to complain about anything here. Maybe I could see this place being too packed at night but that's about it. Tiny place but ample seating for its size.

  • Lucinda V.

I like the variety of options here, but I always run to my How Now Green Cow salad. I've tried other menu items, and they are all pretty good. Service size is plentiful, and I don't feel ripped off. Sometimes the service is lacking, and it is not busy. Recently we have had friendly servers when it was busy. Maybe other visits are just off days? The best thing is that I know this place is open when I'm hungry. I use the Belly app here, and I think I'm working towards earning a free treat.

Great place for breakfast. We had the 'Mr. C' and the 'Amigas with Chorizo', both were fantastic. Our daughter loved the 'Banana Nut Pancakes.' We all left full and smiling!

GOOD BYE CAFE BRAZIL HELLLOOOOO BUZZBREWS! Besides the fact that they properly salt their food here ( yes to sodium!) they have veggie sausage patties. VEGGIE SAUSAGE PATTIES. Even my chicken loving BFF, Ally N. , liked it. Dipped in the tabasco sauce they had ready at the table, the "sausage" was satisfying. It did not upset my stomach like most fake "meats".I normally don't order things with fake "meat" in it because I like by food as minimally processed as possible, but, I'm will to break the rules a little. I ordered the Pit Grill Pancakes that comes with two pancakes, eggs your way, bacon/sausage/ OR veggie sausage patty, and some BOMB syrup. The only problem here is that it is not the largest building nor is the service the fastest. Trying to wave down our waitress was a feat all in itself. The food was quick to come out after we placed our order though.

If you don't mind small and crowded (at times), you will like Buzzbrews. The food and serve are excellent. Our favorites are the Harry Krishna and the Mr C. Be careful, griddle potatoes are spicy. Not too crazy about self serve coffee bar. Several times coffe was warm not hot.

We have showed up here three times in the past two weeks; once late in the afternoon and twice at breakfast, so I guess you can say I really like this place. Each time, We were seated right away, servers were attentive, and the food came quickly. The first go-round, I had the Miss Piggy with the crepes. The second time, I tried the Mr. C. Both were excellent. Good sized servings with the right amount of spice. You should try the homemade Chorizo at least once. If there is any downside, it would be the tight spacing of the tables. If you can't land a booth, there is less than 6 inches between you and the table next to you. I'm really sorry the guy next to us just can't get over his ex, but if she ever had to regularly listen to him whine like that for 40 minutes, I can see why she hit the road... Seriously, though, we eat out every Sunday and this place will definitely join the rotation.

The Original Buzzbrews- parking can be a bit tight because they share a lot with the motel next door. We got there right before the Sunday brunch rush and luckily snagged some spots right behind the place, as well as some seats inside, no problem. I ordered the Mr. T and it was pretty good. Prices are decent and portions are big. It's nice that it's 24/7 too if you're ever craving some breakfast for dinner or some late night eggs, which I always am.

  • Chinemelu E.

The service was be pretty slow at night, I think because they are understaffed but one of the waitress was really nice and tried her best to make our time there pleasurable. I had the pancakes that were solid and smoothie, that was different but I liked it. The eggs taste like McDonald's eggs which isn't a good thing.

I really wish I lived closer to this place because ya'know, it's the bombdiggity. Came here after prom at about 2 in the morning with the group. It's a small and unique place (kind of like a hole-in-the-wall) ; apparently there's three locations. (I found out the hard way because my date and I ended up at location in Deep Ellum while the rest of the group was at the one on North Central Expressway. Trust me, scared doesn't even begin to describe how I felt my boyfriend and I were alone in the afternoons of Deep Ellum. I love the place though, just not in the dark.) Our waitress was cute and bubbly! The restaurant was pretty filled. We didn't have to wait long for out food. (Well, it was 2 in the morning.) I fell in love with the Bluto omelette. I wasn't hungry at the time so I shared with my boyfriend but once I took the first bite, I didn't want to share. So. Dang. Good. The organic toast was delicious, the best I've ever had. The fruit tasted fresh. Five stars! Five stars! Five stars!

Yum indeed!!! I've been reading about this place ever since I moved to Dallas, but I live a little far north to go out of my way to come here. However, my husband and I were at Southside Ballroom Saturday night for the Lindsey Stirling concert, so convenience made this a perfect post-concert stop. It's tiny!!! Absolutely not what I expected, but really unique. It's situated at the edge of a Best Western and the parking is in the motel lot. The outside is old but covered in well maintained murals that are full of character. The inside is such a hippie joint (just like back home in L.A.!) - diner atmosphere and wild colors on the walls, along with waiters and waitresses dressed to match. Albeit, the staff wasn't super friendly and I did spy a couple of ants on the wall and on our table, the food was completely worth it! Their signature French Toast is doused in powdered sugar and walnuts, with hot syrup and butter. The bacon was crispy and eggs flavorful. Well done! Anytime we need a 24 hour haunt in Dallas, I'll know where to go!

This place more and more aweful. First off its freezing, my coffee was Luke warm. We had to flag down the waitress to order. Then the food came and one dish cold. Had to send back to heat it up. Then asked for a refill of tea and came back with a dosen coffee grounds floating, maybe it was dirt? Who knows but doesn't belong there. The tables being us left and none ever bussed the tables. Not a big deal but just makes an unclean impression. Last but not least we found an ant crawling on one of us. Looked around n they were crawling every where on the wall. Wow we feel special. ..

This place is the best place to come for late night breakfast. The staff are friendly, fast and thorough. The food is amazingly large portions. I didn't even finish anything I ordered. After a long night out order the hangover soup. Cortez is an amazing waiter. I recommend sitting in his section.

One of the best breakfast/brunch places in Dallas and nothing beats this location! I've tried the Lemmon location which is much bigger and nice, but I felt like the food tasted better here. Granted it's pretty small, can be easily missed coming off the freeway, and parking can be annoying, the food makes up for it. Have tried a lot of things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. My favorites are the bluto, garlic marbles, and banana nut pancakes. Everything tastes so good you might want to cry. Great energy and place to go to at any hour of the day!

The bf and I came here looking for some good breakfast food for lunch. I had the Hare Krishna omlette with bacon and he had the French Connection with an Italian soda... and OMG sooo good!! The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was very fresh. A great place to find low carb options. If you are low carbing it, the garlic marbles cannot be passed on, even if just a bite or two.

Love this place. I used to go to Cafe Brazil but their service (or lack thereof) lead me to try Buzzbrews. It's an extra 20 minutes from my house, but totally worth the drive! They're always willing to accommodate me in the days I feel like getting a complicated order. They're really cool and laid back and the good is different but delicious! Their chee-z marbles are to die for but if you're looking for something more healthy they have delicious oatmeal too I also love their cinnamon toast!

This is the late night type of place that everyone goes to at 2am after a night of partying, but also is perfect for a noontime lunch, a morning breakfast or anytime you want quality food at a decent price. I have frequently come here for lunch and the food and the service remain consistent. I highly recommend the salmon BLT, but ask for it on wheat toast instead of the bagget roll it normally comes on. One thing that does prevent this from being a 5 star review is the internal noise level. Usually the place is full of diners. Now add music blaring out over several speakers pointed at the tables and you have an environment which makes conversations a little more challenging. Don't get me wrong, when we have asked them to drop the volume a little, they are polite and do it, but on occasion, I've almost had to yell at someone across the table to get them to understand me. Parking can be difficult as it shares a parking lot with a motel. There is an outdoor patio that smokers can enjoy a meal and a cigarette. Overall, this is a great little diner and one I will keep going to again and again.

The variety of coffees they offer is sensational and the food is decent. I likely won't return because this place was dirty with a capital D! I was a little turned off by the "greasy walls" feeling within minutes of sitting down.. Grossed out by the highchairs and booster seats.. Horrified by the kitchen and the bathroom! How does this place pass a health inspection every year?!?

Pretty nice stream of customers. Love Buzzbrews!

Just ate here for the first time and loved it! I went for breakfast and got the egg sandwich and it was one of the best I've ever had! And it was HUGE! Be sure when you're going that you look for it because it's easy to miss being right by and sharing a parking lot with a hotel. It's small and intimate and wonderful! I will definitely be back!

Came here during a trip to Texas during the summer and a good co-worker/friend brought us here for breakfast on our way to Houston. I was debating whether to give this place 4 or 5 stars. Why? Not to knock Buzzbrews down a notch, but it's not something I would crave for all the time (as if this restaurant were in my neighborhood), but it's definitely worth making the trip to stop by if you're an out-of-towner like me. I usually only give 5 stars to things I absolutely would crave for. But please do think about all the 5 stars that has been given to this little diner. Pretty divey cafe diner in my opinion, but that's simply part of Buzz Brews' charm. You'll definitely find something to enjoy or rave about when eating at this high energy pit-stop. They've got a variety of imported coffees, a huge selection of breakfast food entrees, and not to mention some of the best customer service I've had at any restaurant. It's Texas though, so people are naturally friendly here. Truly attentive staff and they all look excited to work there - or is it the coffee and jolt from caffeine? If only they opened something like this in South Pasadena, Los Feliz, Highland Park, in Los Angeles. Would definitely fit right in. They have crepes, griddles, breakfast platters, and some southwest style dishes. Just take a look at their menu and you're stuck trying to figure out what to eat. All their menu items sound so mouthwatering. (Note: They even have pictures on their online menu) I opted for the Pit Grill Griddle Toast, with side of eggs and bacon. Even got a cup of hazelnut coffee. Everything I had was fantastic. Griddle toast is basically french toast, but much thinner in terms of the bread slice, at least that's what looked like I ate. Combined with the walnuts and Vermot maple syrup, the griddle toast was amazing. My friend had a made to order omelet with some artichoke hearts and garlic marbles. I forgot the sauce, but dang, that omelet was so good too! Expect me to come here again in my next trip to Dallas!

  • Nina L.

In all honestly, the food here is pretty decent. The French toast is amazing and the spicy chicken hangover soup really does the trick. I do find that the portions are very small for the price however. I'm not one who minds paying a premium for good food, but the service is always iffy and the food takes FOREVER to get to your table no mater how busy the restaurant is. Every time I come here, I tell myself I'm never coming back, but inevitably do because someone just loooooves it.

I honestly cannot understand the draw of this place. I have gone a handful of times, each time going at the insistence of a friend who just "lovesssss this place!" and each time I end up without anything to eat and a ruined morning. Oh and not to mention that they don't take items off your bill when they screw up. You're still paying for bad - and overpriced - food, thank you very much. I only order the simple breakfast with bacon and poached eggs. It's not hard. It's bacon, eggs and toast. The bacon is always overcooked (think: greasy jerky) and the eggs come out hard boiled. There's no point in sending it back - everyone will be done eating by the time I get it back and it'll all just be overcooked again anyway. I know this because I've tried. The last time I was there I even mentioned to the server that I had previous issues with the food being overcooked. Did he even notice the exploded, pale yellow hard boiled egg he served me? Nope. He was too anxious to get back to leaning against a shelf in the kitchen where he CHEWED HIS FINGERNAILS before reaching for a plate to carry out to another table. Barf. Also, no, I don't want to have navigate through the world's smallest restaurant to get myself some coffee. That's why I'm at a RESTAURANT and why you're earning a TIP. You know what self-service coffee is called? MY HOUSE.

Oh my gosh...first of all, this place is amazing!! Little hole in the wall diner style eatery next to a hotel. You would be sure to miss it if you weren't looking for it. Very small inside with limited outside seating. Eclectic feel and the staff was friendly. I ordered the Bluto, which came with eggs, homemade chorizo, cheese, bacon, and tomatoes. The flavor was out of this world! A little greasy, but very much worth it!! It also came with a side of toast and spicy garlic potatoes, both of which were equally amazing! How do they make plain toast taste so good? I have no idea, but they did and do. We also tired some of their pancakes, which were delicious! The absolute perfect consistency between too thick and too fluffy. I would hands down recommend eating here anytime! They are open 24-7 so there are no excuses. I will without a doubt be back to try more amazing creations!

Bluto Crepe!!!!! I've taken post wedding party here & forced them to eat it. Each time I take someone new I beg them to try it. Never been a time when they person was not craving it again after there visit. Very unique Dallas menu & I'm lucky cause it's right around the corner from me.

Haha what can't I say about this place because this is one of the best spots in Dallas. The people are always chill and food always cheap and banging. The music is always hot which makes me want to add and burn calories all at once. You can never go wrong with thr bluto orc steak and eggs. Also get the cruiser smoothie its healthy and fulfilling n enjoy! !

At first I really couldn't understand why anyone in their right mind would like this place, see my previous review, but I decided to give them another chance because the food sounds good on paper and the reviews are okay. Ugh, again, they disappoint! I think I figured out why people like them: (1) they are drunk and/or (2) they are hung over. During those two times in life some of the best tasting food is greasy and sloppy, i.e. jack in the box tacos. I'm looking around this place and see their awards include best place to eat at 2am, etc. This time I tried the French Connection. It was literally dripping with grease, the potatoes on the side were dripping in grease and under cooked and even the bread was stale. Plus the place it's self is nasty and dirty. As you can see in my last review I found a bug in my food, this time while I was waiting there was a bug flying around the coffee dispensers...it's been like 30 degrees for 2 weeks straight, I haven't even seen a bug in DFW since before Christmas it feels like and somehow this place still has them flying around...that says a lot.

I really wanted to like Buzzbrews. It looks like lots of people have had great experiences here, so I'm happy for them. It's hard to find places that serve decent breakfast all day long. I could get over the fact that it, at first, seemed a little dirty. They only cleaned tables off when someone wanted to sit at them - fine. My menu corners looked like they'd been soaked in grease - whatever. Most of the sugar packets at our table were already open - weird. But, there was a long, black hair folded into the cheese of my omelet!!! They made another one, but we never got an apology from anyone in the restaurant and no one ever responded to my message sent on their website.

Fun 24/hour diner, huge menu, great people watching. A nice alternative to Cafe Brazil. I ordered the Amigas, which were delicious and extremely filling because the serving was huge. My friend loved the pancakes. I frequently have to pick people up late ate Love Field, and finding a decent place to grab a bite after hasn't always been easy. So happy to have found this place.

  • Ashley J.

The food is pretty good. I don't think I caught them on their best day, so I won't judge too harshly. The building is TINY and we were forced to sit at the coffee bar in tightly placed chairs next to the coffee dispensers. I had the club sandwich, it was tasty. The ingredients were fresh, but the side of potatoes I had were under cooked. I understand why people rave about this little dive joint. They are very hipster with a lot of vegetarian options!

I've never had one bad thing here. Ever. Everything hits the spot here, ESPECIALLY on late nights, after the club. They have EVERYTHING! Yes, it is a little hole in the wall. you do have to wait on some nights for a table, but it's so worth it. I've been here on many occasions, the waiters are all nice, laid back, you might have to remind them a time or two to get you something that you asked for multiple times, but it's ok. The food makes up for all of that. Two things in particular they have perfected, in my opinion and that I must speak about: Pit Grill Griddle Toast and the French Connection. Both of them will change your life. The menu here is so big, so no matter how many times you go, unless you fall in love with something, you never know what to get. Most of the times that I go, I always get something savory, but this time, I changed it up. I was craving either French toast or pancakes. Whichever one that I did choose, I knew I'd be happy regardless. The Pit Grill Griddle Toast. I made my selection and I'm telling you, I cleaned every corner of that plate. First off, the pieces of griddle toast are grilled to where the middle is still soft and moist and the outsides, the edges are crunchy. Then, they're sprinkled with powdered sugar, walnuts and two heaping scoops of butter. Sugar overload for sure. When all of that is smeared all over both pieces of toast, then drizzle and marinated in that REAL Vermont maple syrup, oh man! You literally, well I literally, could not stop eating forkful after forkful. I can't believe I had been missing out on this! Then you got your savory, your salty, your seasoned...the French Connection. Whoever introduced me to this dish, I thank them from the bottom of my heart. You get two crepes, stuffed, and I do mean stuffed, with all the good things: Grilled chicken, tomatoes, button and Portobello mushrooms which I love, spinach, Anaheim peppers and then covered ever so gently with this poblano cream sauce, feta and cheddar cheese. What is there not to like?! When it all comes together, it's a masterpiece. If all else fails, I definitely go for this, you can't go wrong at all. Buzzbrews is that place to go to relax, kick back, eat good, talk loud even and not worry about the place trying to rush you out the door because it's closing time. It's eclectic, fun, chill, friendly and has all-you-can-drink coffee. You gotta love it!

Drunk breakfast That's what BuzzBrews means to me. I use to live down the street. Their coffee is decent but their crapes are where its at. Best Crepes. If you are a meat eater try the Bluto crapes. If you're a veggie try the Californication crapes.

As an out-of-towner looking for a good breakfast, I was very impressed with Buzzbrews Kitchen. I came with my family, and everything we had was excellent. The poblano creme sauce on the crepes was delicious. The coffee selection is unique and fun, great flavored coffees and classics. I got an iced chai, and I think it was my favorite that I've had, it tastes horchatta like almost and was not too sweet. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time, perhaps even the best. A low-key, comfortable atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. 5 stars.

Tonight was my first time coming here. I came home after a long shift with no leftovers and no energy to cook up a late night dinner. I thought I'd give this place a go. I was in for a treat! Apparently, this place holds a classical open mic night every Tuesday. I walked into a room filled with the lovely sounds of a vocalist singing an aria, accompanied by a flute. If you have a soft spot for classical music, tues nights are for you! It was so refreshing to hear such beautiful talent tonight! The service here was pretty good. I waited maybe 5 min for a seat because I didn't know who to make eye contact with to let them know I wanted to be seated and the staff probably thought I was waiting for other people before getting seated. I just needed a table for one. I was seated promptly after they noticed me. The staff were very friendly and brought my meal and drinks pretty quickly. My only recommendation is that you be very specific of what you want in your order. I was hoping to try the stuffed Hippy Miss Piggy. The menu said that the stuffed egg version would include garlic marbles and toast. When I ordered, the server asked if i wanted crepe or omelette. I requested the omelette. What I received was an omelette. None of the sides mentioned in the menu. I asked the server about the sides and he said it didn't come with any. Perhaps there was some communication error. But, i was in no mood to be testy and i was already full and satisfied halfway through the meal. So, I did not contest the discrepancy. On my last order, i wanted a frozen matcha tea. The server asked if I wanted it hot or cold. So, I asked for cold. I was served with a matcha tea on the rocks. I'm not complaining. That was one delicious matcha! It just wasn't the Frozen matcha tea I was expecting. And again, I didn't feel like being a testy customer since the result was still delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at this place. It's comfy and inviting. Tuesday nights are wonderful to come in and relax and rejuvenate with lovely music. The food was really delicious. I want to try the other items on their menu! There's plenty of outlets if you want to come in and study or do work. The staff are friendly. This place feels safe. Best part is that it's 24/7! I definitely see myself coming here more often, especially on Tuesdays! Next time, I'll exercise specificity on my orders.

I went here for breakfast today and it was pretty much delicious. I ordered the "Bluto" which has chorizo and in a crepe with egg and jalapeño, onions, and tomatoes. This was pretty freaking good and pretty spicy but man was it good, and filling! Will come back here again for sure! There marshmallow latte was also very good.

Yum good food and homemade kombucha tea. Extra points for a very helpful and friendly staff!! Love the laid back atmosphere and live music also. Would recommend.

Has it really taken me 11 years to finally review Buzzbrews!? That's how long I've been coming here and I've never actually reviewed the place. Shame on me! In the high-stakes competition for hangover-fighting diners in this city, Buzzbrews is the almighty champion in my book. Open 24/7? Check. Really good food? Check. Laid-back, friendly service? Check? Weird hotel location? Check. The thing that sets Buzzbrews apart from other diners in Dallas is their unique ingredients and menu creativity. However, I am guilty of almost always ordering the same thing. Those crepes! They are too delicious to pass up. I love to "stuff my own" to create the perfect combination of ingredients. And that crepe sauce, though! It goes with just about anything. They've got self-serve coffee here as well with at least a half-dozen types of brewed coffee each day to suit every coffee palate. I've brought several friends or family members here for the first time and they have always loved it. And even though this location is tiny, I have only had to wait for a table once. No time of day is inappropriate for Buzzbrews from breakfast to beyond late night. I've been to the other Buzzbrews locations of course but this location will always be my favorite.

I love finding diner-like breakfast spots. This one definitely lived up to the reviews. Food was fantastic. I got the Mean Black Bean Omelet and it was de-lish. My husband got the Miss Piggy Crepes and looked Ah-mazing! The portions are the perfect size. Great prices, great service! The only thing I think I didn't like was the parking. It's in the same lot as a hotel so parking was small and scarce. There are some spots mixed in with hotel parking, just look around a bit.

I hope you like crying in public, because that's how good Buzzbrews is. Wow. Just wow. Upon the overwhelming suggestion of the Yelp community, we got the Bluto, which was fantastic. Also tried the Miss Piggy and Banana Walnut Pancakes (sweet Jesus). Five different coffees at a self-serve coffee bar, ranging from basic to almond chipotle. We were in town for a wedding and this was the first Dallas restaurant we visited. I almost feel bad for every restaurant that came after; all we did was compare it to Buzzbrews (no surprise here: nothing came even close). So sad we live so far away. Is seven hours too far to drive for breakfast?

This place is always packed after a night out, but for good reason. I have yet to try the coffee (I've only been after 2am and I don't care for coffee at that time) but the food is great and very filling. The servers are very nice and helpful, and the food comes out fairly quickly. The only aspect I would change would be the size of the establishment - it's very tight and there's so many tables and chairs that it's difficult to move around.

Friends from work had invited me out after work to come here and I declined on the basis that I live an hour away, I'm glad I did then. I came here with my boyfriend cause we were in the area, id wanted to try it since my friends said it was really good. The only good thing really was my latte, and that was only decent since I got it lukewarm. I like my stuff HOT. But first service here was HORRIBLE. The place was basically empty with about 4-5 staff. We got our drinks and ordered food and the waitress basically made it seem like there was a force field around our table. We had finished our drinks and they sat empty for a good 15 minutes before she brought us water. Like that's nice but not even can I get you another or would you like something else. Just water and walked away. Then you can clearly see when they put food up in the window, and this is what seriously made me contemplate leaving, but our app seriously sat in the window for around 10 min just sitting under whatever heat lamp they have with the employees all standing infront of the window talking to each other. Well we finally got that and honestly it wasn't that great, the potatoes which are supposed to be garlicky don't even taste like garlic it's like overpowering paprika/cayenne and just sits in your throat. And again when our entrees came out once again just sitting in the window for almost 10-15 min it got to the point where I was about to get up and ask them for my food myself since I could see it sitting there and once again! The employees just standing infront of the window chit chatting to each other. And NO ONE checks one the table asks if you'd like more to drink, or how's your food. And when i pointed out to the waitress that we had something missing she have me attitude about taking it off the bill. Like honestly the food was meh drinks meh YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR Our bill came out to 45 with tip which I only gave because I work in the food industry and I can not not tip a server, but seriously Over priced and not worth it I do not recommend at all

The building is literally a few feet away from the Best Western next door. You walk and there's a column of bench seats along the windows. When it's late at night or early in the morning, I prefer something easy on the eyes and not too ugly. Buzzbrew's doesn't really fit the bill. The inside isn't particularly clean and has a somewhat gritty sort of feel. I was expecting something a bit more attractive in the design department based on their website. The food is pricey, but even though it's 24 hours, I think you can get better at Denny's or IHOP. It's a nice option though.

This place is fantastic. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have breakfast on Thanksgiving. Absolutely nothing was open until I found Buzzbrews on yelp. I called to make sure they were open and their exact words were that they were open "365 days a year 24 hours a day". Perfect! The service was quick. And the food was delicious. I had the Mr. C (see photo). Chorizo, eggs, salsa, tortillas, cheddar all set up on a plate of yummy goodness. I should've taken an after photo, I cleaned that plate. My boyfriend had the Bluto. Their stuffed crepe with chorizo, onions, cheese, and other deliciousness. It was amazing. Their coffee is a must try. Regular coffee is self serve and unlimited refills. My boyfriend said the French roast was strong and aromatic. I had the Creme brûlée latte. It was great. I took it to go and even drank it the next day. THAT good. Buzzbrews is not a place to miss if you're in the Dallas area. It's inexpensive and delicious for an all around good meal.

I have to say that this was the best breakfast I have ever had while dining out! I ordered the French Connection, OMG....freaking amazing! The hubs had the Bluto which he said was really good, I didn't taste his because I wanted to devour all of mine lol. He also ordered one pancake on the side which we split and was good too. We each had a vanilla latte and they were big and yummy! I've found my new place to answer my breakfast cravings! Our waitress was really nice and helpful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because they could do some updating on the seating and they need more of it! I will NEVER, EVER eat at Ihop, Dennys, etc.... again!!!

I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the service and coffee. Both 5 star worthy. Ordered the amigas plate and it was alright. Nothing to write home about but good, black beans especially. Also the marshmallow latte was amaazzzzin! As well as the 5 coffees they regularly have on rotation. Service was excellent sitting at the bar. Thanks yall!

I'm really confused by all the positive reviews; our experience was awful. I had read all the good reviews and heard it can be a good place to study, so my friend and I checked it out a couple nights ago. Once we finally found it, we got sat at a booth which was all ripped up and the stuffing was coming out. The worst part though was my friend's diet coke had dried up food stuck inside it. She didn't see it until she had drunk half of it. It was disgusting! The cup was clear so whoever filled the drink could have easily seen it. We told the waiter and he was just like "well that is not awesome " and brought her a new drink. No apology, no "oh this is on the house"; nothing! It seems to me this must be a common occurrence that customers are just suppose to accept. Also there were tiny ants crawling on the walls around us. We wanted to leave immediately but the waiter never came back! After waiting 15 minutes in the nearly empty restaurant, we put a couple of bucks on the table and walked out. It was a pretty awful experience and I'm still super confused by the rave reviews. Usually I can trust Yelp to guide me straight but not this time. Hopefully others won't make the same mistake. I'd stay clear of this place if I were you.

I just tried this place for the first time. I went in to try a coffee drink. I believe the guy that helped me was named David. At least that's what it said on the receipt. He helped me figure out what to try. I drank a little of my drink there and he even topped it off for me. I got a mocha java with hazelnut and it was really good. I will definitely be going there again.

Buzzbrews' motif is cute but the menu and food leaves something to be desired. I stopped in late on a Sunday night hoping for a light snack. I had a taste for a grilled cheese and figured a diner would be my best bet. As visitor, I didn't realize Dennys was right down the street. As it turns out that might have been a safer bet!! Anyway, we walked in and were told to sit anywhere. The restaurant was looked like a modern, professionally decorated truck stop. Nothing on the menu jumped out at me. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast and didn't want anything as heavy as a burger. I asked the server if I could have a grilled cheese sandwich and I was told that I'd just get the egg breakfast sandwich minus the egg. The sandwich was served with tomatoes, salsa or something like that. Whatever it came with I didn't want it. I asked if I could JUST have cheese and I was told no. Seriously? What kind of dinner doesn't serve grilled cheese? That's like Whataburger not selling hamburgers!! Since I couldn't order a grilled cheese I decided to try the chicken soup. In the menu it's listed as the "hangover" chicken soup. The server made sure I knew it was hot. I was expecting traditional chicken soup with a kick. Turned our to be some sort of salsa tortilla soup with a couple slices of chicken. It was spicy but not all that good. I took a couple of bites before pushing it away. My friend ordered the chicken quesadillas. He liked them. I had one of them and thought it was pretty good too. The service was fine and I liked the restaurant's overall presentation but I wouldn't visit again. You only get one chance to make a first impression and Buzzbrews blew it.

First time at a Buzzbrew Kitchen and i will have to come back when im not buzzed and make sure my taste buds werent a little tipsy. Good service, menu options are interesting although my burger was unimpressive im still not sure it wasnt me, not them. I will keep you posted if i make it in without being too buzzed.

This place is awesome! Well, Buzzbrews is awesome in general. This is the second one I've been to, besides the one in Deep Ellum. This location is pretty small and cramped and right next to a motel. There's limited parking. However, they're open 24 hours, the food is fantastic. I have only had breakfast food here. What goes better with breakfast than some iced coffee? Buzzbrews' Iced Toddy is delicious. The flavor is smooth and sweet and it provides just the right about of buzz. I've had the banana nut pancakes and the French toast. Both are so good! They have generous serving sizes and its so hard to part with the food that I can't eat. Even though the food is great, I wouldn't come here on a weekend before noon because it's so cramped and crowded. There's nowhere in the restaurant for you to wait for a seat and if you get one of the tables in the center, people will constantly be bumping into your chair when they go to get coffee. If you're looking for breakfast during the weekend brunch rushes, try the other, larger locations in Deep Ellum or on Lemmon Ave.

My husband's days off usually begins with "find us something new to do" or "find us something new to eat". I was 5 steps ahead of him because I discovered Yelp BOOKMARKS! I seen the pictures of the banana nut pancakes on Buzzbrews' website and I knew he would love those bad boys. We made the drive to Dallas. First to the Deep Ellum location. Parking was a pain and my husband doesn't have the patience, so we went to this location. I got the Mrs. C and he of course got the banana nut pancakes. They don't have a kids menu so you can special order their meal which was awesome. They got a pancake each and eggs. What more can be said about Mrs. C? I love her. What is there not to love about chicken and eggs mixed with cheese, onions, peppers, and tomatoes! Those banana nut pancakes though. They were pretty amazing and damn near the best pancakes I ever tasted.

Yelp is the perfect way to find this place because I never would have gone in via a drive by. Hole in the wall building next to a motel that I'm sure was THE place back in the 70's. Anyway, it was a weekday and lunch time and I yelped a place to eat. Breakfast for lunch gets me every time. I love being able to order breakfast food past traditional hours. Place was packed so I took a seat at the counter. Staff was very helpful. They made it a point to help me as they saw how long I looked at the menu. It all sounded so good - I could not decide. Best french toast ever! I was a little disappointed in the side of ham. I think of breakfast ham like a slice but this was more like deli ham you make a sandwich with. It was fine, I ordered too much food anyway. Everything was hot, fresh and flavor-filled. I will return when I'm on that side of town. You should try it too.

Great coffee! Fantastic food! Friendly and fast service! Have never had a bad experience here. The food has always been great. Previously had tried the pancakes which didn't disappoint. Today had the chicken and eggs... A healthy option with egg whites and grilled chicken and ordered with fruit instead of toast. Was a huge portion for the price and tasted great!! My dad had the French toast and said it was the best he had ever had. They completely let the bread soak in the egg mixture and the cinnamon taste is great! Also make sure to try the coffee, plenty of varieties and always tasty. Will be back without a doubt!

My friend and I had a great meal here for our Sunday brunch. We sat out in the outdoor seating and enjoyed the nice sunshine and little breeze that accompanied our meal. I got the bluto while my friend got the French connection. Both were ridiculously delicious and the portions were very generous. The place is a diner and is open 24/7 and has an open coffee bar, so you go grab a cup and get your own coffee. The service was a bit slow even though the place wasn't super busy but that might have been because we sat outside. Regardless I'm eager to go back and try out more menu items!

Yummmmm. I came here on my way out of town on my cousin's recommendation and I'm so glad I did. We got right in, but shortly after we arrived, it seemed like they went on a wait. Very small diner feel, but the food is amazing! Also on my cousin's recommendation, I had the bluto crepes and my sister had the bluto omelette (or "stuffed eggs" as they call them). Everything went so well together - chorizo, bacon, onions, jalapenos, tomatoes...I could be forgetting things, but it was delicious and exactly the kind of breakfast I like. I LOVE crepes, both sweet and savory, but I think of them more on the sweet side so I was curious how it would go together. It was great. The crepe was not too sweet at all and was just a really nice texture to go with the meat and veggies. The toast and fruit were decent too. We also had the bananas foster coffee - Oh. My. God. It was so good. I'm guilty of putting sugar and cream in my coffee, so most of the time, when I have flavored coffee, my add-ins cancel it out and I can't even taste the "flavor." However, this was some of the best coffee I've ever had and I wish I could buy it and make it at home. The banana flavor was strong (in a good way) with a hint of sugary/caramely sweetness. I'm not sure which was better - the crepes or the coffee! I will say the service was not good at all, but I wouldn't not go back because of it. The food was that good! Having said that, we could hardly understand a word the server was saying and we were tucked away in the corner so it seems like we might have gotten forgotten. It wasn't awful, but definitely could have been better. I'm keeping this at five stars though because the crepes and coffee were just so good.

Love this location every single time I've been here except for once when they ran out of every drink I wanted. That was weird. Anyways I usually get the french connection because it tastes amazing. The greenish looking sauce they use is so delicious and pretty much makes the whole meal. So much flavor. The marbles (potatoes) that come on the side are really good as well. I've tried the banana nut pancakes and loved it. The Harry Krishna and it was good too. Anything with avocados is great to me though. The quesadillas are good. I've tried both the chicken one and the one with black beans and I personally prefer the black beans. The marshmallow latte is so good too and it's huge

I love this place. It's easy. It's simple. The food is so good. OPen 24 hours. I do wish it was a little bigger and more comfortable but that doesn't stop me fromcoming there to eat. Love the Italian brew coffee. It's my kind of place. FOOD IS SO GOOD ...

I read so many reviews on here that I had to go with the resounding roar of suggestions for the bluto. And, dear god was it worth it. This may be the best breakfast I have EVER had. Damn near culinary perfection. When you mix crepes, chorizo, bacon and cheddar with the creamy sauce is on top and a bowl of fresh fruit. This is the kickstart my day needed. I got take out this time, but I will eat in and try their coffee next time.

This is my favorite location. Close to home, cool-ass empoyees, delicious food, & much smaller than others I have been to! I have tried alot of the menu & my absolute favorite is the 1)French Connection Crepes. hOLy mOLy is it delicious & rich. 2)Amigas, best I've had, full of tex/mex flavor 3)Porked Pig, hehehe but wow the flavor. The abundance of quality ingredients is awesome & at a reasonable price. Really hole in the wall feeling joint & I am always planning my next visit when finishing my food.

This place exceeded my expectations. I really thought this was gonna be one of those greasy spoon failures. Not what I experienced at all. This location shares a lot with a hotel. Parking can be an issue in peak hours. The store is quite small and fills up fast. They are open 24/7. They have many coffee options to chose from. I'm satisfied with a nice cup of Colombian, straight up. I come here for the breakfast. Definitely not the best breakfast deals in town, but, for the most part, the food is good. I usually get the Pit Grill Pancakes for a rough $10. It's two eggs, two meat, and, two pancakes. Pretty good stuff. I have tried the house chorizo. A real let down. Very bland. Service is hit or miss depending on how busy they are. I'll definitely keep this place on my list for pancakes and eggs. It's a real bummer that they don't have any regular tabasco. I like to put my over easy eggs on top of my pancakes, add regular (not chipotle) tabasco and syrup, then pig out like mad!

The wife loves Sunday breakfast/brunch out so we tried this place. The place is very small, seats only about 20 people so we had a wait a bit. Once seated, the service and food was excellent. My Miss Piggy (as stuffed crepe) was great and I loved the spice and the way the flavors came together. It was delicious. The wife also really liked her Bluto with homemade chorizo. I liked the vibe and it definitely ranks high in the funkiness factor. I am giving it 4 stars because parking can be difficult, you have to search behind Best Western and they appear to share a lot. Plus, it is so small that there inevitably will be a wait. That said, we will return for sure.

While Buzzbrews isn't my go-to 24/7 "cafe" in Dallas, its good to mix things up a bit. This particular location is rather small and semi attached to a motel, which is weird, but it works. We gathered the fam one night this week and it was a pretty slow/quiet evening there. That's not a bad thing, it let us get the full undivided attention of our server, who was great btw, and allowed us to hang as long as we wanted. The food was good as usual and typical of the left-of-center and home-brewed vernacular Buzzbrews likes to use. I went the griddle toast and some crispy as all get out bacon which I love. Everyone liked what the ordered and the waitress was on it when suggesting some warm beverages. The only thing that stands out is the bathroom sitch. You literally have to go outside, then back into the building which you realize is basically behind the counter of the kitchen. Super odd setup, but no real points deducted here. A tip would be due to the size, larger groups may have a hard time being able to sit together. If you're looking for a bite to chill though, Buzzbrews has got you down.

Man! This place was terrible! Parking is atrocious. It's shared with a best western and there are not enough spots. We watched a table open up, but the ppl working didn't make any moves to clean it up so that we may sit down. We waited in the doorway for 10 minutes. Once we were seated it took another few minutes to have water brought to us, then another few minutes for the menus to be brought out, followed by a few minutes of waiting for our order to be taken. There is 1 reason I didn't rate this establishment 1 star. The reason was the waitress who helped us was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that place is terribly understaffed, so her humor was a softening touch. The pancakes tasted under cooked, the scrambled eggs were not edible, but everything wasn't bad. The toast was good, and the Mr. C was great. I would have to come back and see if conditions changes. I went after 2am, so maybe that was the cause of certain issues

After waiting three hours for brunch at another establishment, my friends and I gave up and came to Buzzbrews. It was my first time, and I was impressed! The place itself is not very large, but you won't have to wait at all if you come during off hours like we did at 3 PM. Service was prompt, and the food came out within 10-15 minutes. I ordered the Blazing Huevos from the 24 hours menu and it was sooo good (not spicy). I devoured it in less than 10 minutes. Some of their entries seem similar with the main ingredients being eggs and tortillas with beans/salsa/cheese, so you can't really go wrong because they are all delicious. My friends ordered the Amigas and another had French Connection, which I definitely want to try next time. The have a huge variety in their menu so there is definitely something for everyone, and everything is so reasonably priced. (Who DOESN'T love breakfast food at any time during the day?) And the fact that it's open 24 hours is another plus and great alternative to the usual Whataburger or Cane's meals at 2 AM. But even during the day the food tastes just as good. The only downside is that the parking lot is very small though, so we had to park in the Snap Kitchen parking lot area. Can't wait to come back!

Very interesting menu and good-tasting diner styled food, but the space is very unaccomodating. Parking is super limited. It took them a minute to seat a table of 5 because there was nothing available. Once seated, it was uncomfortable. Service was a bit slow as well. However, I appreciate the vegetarian options available.

There's a server there named Nathaniel (I think) and he was fantastic! He wasn't our waiter but he was so attentive and did a great job! Bluto was good. French Toast is literally just a dry piece of bread that seemed like it was barely dipped in whatever their mix is for French toast. Coffee bar was cool. Cold brewed coffee with vanilla was tasty. Gets busy so get here early on the weekends.

Late night hungers after a concert had me and a girlfriend visiting this little place last Friday. We got there around midnight, I'd guess. This is a tiny place either right next to or even maybe attached to a motel along the freeway. They are open 24 hours and are reasonably priced. From what I saw on the menu they serve breakfast and lunch/dinner types of food. We walked in and the only options for seating immediately were a couple of tiny two-seater tables in the center of the room. Boo. Fortunately a group got up just then and we were able to steak their booth. Yay! Our waiter was SO cute and friendly! Just a nice guy all around. We both ordered a meal that came with two pancakes, bacon, and an egg or two. And coffee. The coffee set up is basically a coffee bar. For about $3.00 you serve yourself coffee from pump-style thermoses. There are several different flavors to choose from. In the end I only had one and a half cups, so I overpaid for my coffee, lol, but it was good coffee. Also, we were offered to-go cups so that's nice. The food was gooooood. Fluffy, delicious pancakes with maple syrup, thick slices of bacon, and perfectly cooked over easy eggs. Really good food, y'all. I can't wait to take my husband there whenever we get the chance. It think all together my meal including coffee came to $12.35. So not cheap, but not awful. Totally worth it, in my opinion. The restaurant itself was tiny but nice and clean. Definitely somewhere to hang out for a while with friends or grab a cup of coffee, etc. Every employee that we dealt with was nice and friendly. The crowd was diverse, lol. A couple of groups of friends hanging out, a couple grabbing a bite, a very chic looking guy and girl came in, and a couple of drunk guys whose cab we took. I can't speak for parking because we cabbed it there. A great little place!

Great place for coffee and breakfast or lunch. They have lots of different coffees to choose form and many menu options. Also they have wifi. Perfect place for finishing up any projects for work or school!! We got the club sandwich which was really good. It was traditional diner food with the big plus of them having their own roasted coffee

Checked in to the Best Western next door and headed over for some dinner after a day of traveling. Had the Buzz burger deluxe and it was great. Nice thick juicy burger served with a bag of chips and some fresh grapes. Topped off with an ice tea and I was stuffed. Price was reasonable.

We were in Dallas a couple weekends back. We were looking for a late night place and Buzzbrews came highly recommended as that last stop before crashing. The place is attached to a motel and barely there considering its tiny footprint. Interior is a square glass box looking out to the freeway with maybe ten tables to choose from. All walks of life came in and out while dining there but can safely peg the theme of the place as a little bit of Austin rubbed off into Dallas. (sleeve tattoos, indie band stickers, beanie caps when it's 75 outside, etc.) Or maybe I just hit a heavy hipster hour. Food was low priced greasy tasty late night breakfast grub. The end of that night got a little foggy as far as what I specifically ordered but I can say that I remember eating a lot of it, until I couldn't breathe comfortably without loosening a belt notch. (usually a good sign) Also notable is their coffee choices. They had multiple pots brewing of all kinds of different flavors, beans, etc. Late night craving and looking for something different than the Ihop and Waffle house? Head here!

I've come here three times. I live around the corner on Lemmon Ave and am often out late at night or working on my laptop at strange hours. I would think I would have a great relationship with Buzzbrews by now- considering the convenience and hours! Each of the three times I've tried it out- I've received literally no service. I come in with a smile on my face ready for some crepes and diluted, tepid serve-yourself coffee. Instead I sit around for 10-15 minutes aimlessly looking at apathetic servers that are texting behind the counter or counting bumps on the wall. I'm not quite sure what they are ever doing. Perhaps they worked a 24-hour shift? I'm not mad at them but I don't think there is ever a single manager or proper training done at these Buzzbrews. On top of that, I'm met by filthy bathrooms and menus that stick to the table. Guess it's back to Cafe Brazil where I can at least get some grub and get out of there before turning 50 years old.

The fact that my food was amazing was over shadowed by the poor customer service and lack of attention. I had to ask for a straw 3 times my sister had to ask for water several times. And then when she had her food prepared for the second time it came out with hair on the plate. Such a sad situation because as i stated my food was good. I felt like because she complained about the service amd the hair on the plate he thought we just wanted to eat free when anyone knows i am a true foodie and love to brag about great service and food and have no problem paying for what i enjoy.

Good coffee. Small place with character. I can only speak to one dish- the Hare Krishna. It's so yummy I can't bring myself to order anything else!

We took the family out to Buzzbrew's on Friday and didn't leave disappointed. It was weird to notice it was located right in front of the hotel my Dad stayed at a few years ago and we never even noticed it! Thankfully we corrected that error on Friday and it was definitely well worth it. I ordered the Bluto and it didn't disappoint. The chorizo was fantastic and the bacon was delicious. The eggs were fluffy and cooked just right. Even the potatoes were delicious. My kid got a pancake, some eggs, and bacon and she seemed to love it as well. The wife got the Griddle Toast with veggie sausage and while it was fantastic, she wasn't too fond of the veggie sausage. To be honest, I wasn't either. However, oddly enough, my kid loved them. We'll definitely be going back as I want to check out other items on the menu...Oh yeah, and their iced coffee is amazing!

This place was really good. We had the French toast and "amigas" off the breakfast menu. French toast was pretty good but the amigas was awesome! For 4 o'clock in the morning, i wasn't really expecting it to be that great but it really was. Coffee was fresh and tasty, too.

Was going to give this place a 3 star because of the somewhat rude waitress we had as well as the broken AC (that they didn't seem to care about), but the food was very very good. I ordered a cobb salad which was somewhat pricey at $10, but well worth it. The salad was big and delicious. I'd give the chefs a 5 star and the waitress a 3 star.

The food is good all the time no matter what you get. I like the Amigas w/chicken. The pancakes are food from God! Even the oatmeal is ridiculously delicious. I drive all the way from Garland just to eat here when I get a late night craving for food!

My regional sales manager and I were looking for a great place to eat in Dallas for breakfast and we yelped across this place... and I must admit, what a hidden gem. My regional sales manager is what people would call "Very Texan" so I was nervous that he wouldn't enjoy an upbeat/ hipster bar but I was completely wrong! Not only did he love it but I loved it. He got the pancakes and I got some random crepe thing and they both were awesome! However, the most important thing you should walk away with from this post is that the coffee is out of the world! The banana fosters coffee is out of the world and so is the peanut butter coffee.! Long story short, GO FOR BREAKFAST! Lastly, the bathroom is very very cool!

The food is fantastic. The service is quite awful. All of the wait staff hang out where to food comes out from the kitchen just chatting. A manager needs to be an asshole and get them to do their job.

Along the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives spectrum, this place definitely fits nicely into the dives category. It shares a parking lot with a Best Western hotel and I swear I saw a prostitute standing outside of the restaurant as I was eating. With all of that said, the breakfast I had was on point. Called the Bluto....2 crepes stuffed with homemade chorizo, bacon, onions, jalapeños and covered in an awesome poblano sauce. I've never had anything like it before. The place is somewhat icky, but I'm convinced that the food is consistently good because there was steady traffic by what appeared to be locals. The yelp reviews are pretty accurate. Check it out.

Wonderfully prepared food for the price. I had french toast with vegan sausage! Yummy! A quaint little place that you wouldn't think to stop at but it was worth the drive down there from where I live; a fun lively environment!

Food was good. Coffee was good. Service was mediocre. Our waiter brought out everyones food an hour earlier than mine. He profusely apologized and said it would be free, but then charged me for it anyways. Probably not going back to this location.

I heart Buzzbrews! Went for a very delayed encore visit with the wife and friend; rolled in at 8:15 a.m. on a Sunday (good time to visit, btw) and the place was rocking like a club about to open (AC/DC was blaring...almost too much, but hey, when in Rome). Ventured for the chicken san miguel, a yummy combination of eggs/cheese/sales/refried black beans and tortillas strips..so good on a morning where I was famished. Java was on the docket as well, and it appears they've worked on the coffee temperature issue I mentioned a year ago...hopefully it wasn't just for me. :-) Our Virginia resident friend was completely WOWED by her breakfast...we never steer her wrong, and this time was NO exception!

This is the place to go after a late night event it's open 24/7 and it's not far from City Place Station. It's a small place so maybe if you had a big group of friends this may not be the place for you but if a group of 5 friends or less i would say go for it! I ordered the Pit Grill Pancake i was Wow i have not had pancakes in like forever but not bad for breakfast, i set at the coffee where you can get $2 Coffee and they not just have breakfast they Chicken or burger meals on their menu if your in the mood for that. The service was alright they give you check before your done eating but i guess they do that cause it's you go for a late night bit and leave. They have a legit art look in the front right before you go in, i saw one time that Buzzbrews was voted the best breakfast in Big D Magazine. If i am out late in Dallas and have eaten all day if i had the chance this would be my place to go.)

Came here on a saturday afternoon for lunch with a friend. It was busy, always is, but we got lucky and snagged the last open table. My friend is a coffee drinker, I am not really, so he made generous use of the open coffee bar. He ordered eggs with cheese, pancakes and bacon. Pretty standard fare and he was very happy with the portion size. I ordered chicken and roasted potatoes. The green sauce served with it is amazing! I wish I could bottle it! Parking can be a problem, but its worth the hassle. Eat here!

Great place for that weekend brunch with friends. Sitting area is small but it keeps the classy diner feel to it. My favorite is the migas plate. The Italian sodas are awesome. I also dig the different flavors of coffee to drink, I will try out new flavor with every new cup of joe to get my buzz brewing!

Good place for coffee and got a decent menu for breakfast among other things. Beats a lot of other places for breakfast and is open 24 hours a day. Have organic items on their menu. Pretty laid back overall. Favorite location is at 75 and fitzhugh although the parking is not great on the weekend nights late.

The store might be small but it makes up for size in service. Food is always good, and they have the best Nutella crepes! My husband hates bananas so they are happy to sub that for strawberries or whatever else you might choose. Healthy food that tastes good with great service. Ya!

This place is awesome if you have a small party and a LARGE bladder because seating is limited and there's no restroom aside from their large bushes out back. :) I ordered the French Connection and LOVED it. The crepes rocked my world and the sauce that came with it was to die for. I felt bad for Paul H. because his plate wasn't as great. The Hare Krishna is very cheesy and slightly bland after you get a bite of the savory French Connection. I ordered the Carrot Cake as an appetizer and it was ok. Nothing different from those freezer cakes you find in the frozen desserts aisle. Save your money and don't order the Cantaloupe juice. It's just ok it's a little on the sweet side. Oh and their lemonade! It's terrible!! It's definitely watered down. I would aim for something caffeinated with coffee. They have an extensive coffee menu so go for that instead of of a glass of mediocre juice.

I love this place oh so very much! It's within walking distance from our house, which is an automatic bonus. Seating is tough at times, but I've been lucky to only have a short wait. The service is fantastic; the latte is what they call a "hangover cure," though I used it as a migraine cure; the atmosphere is buzzing; and the food is solid. It's not the best food I've ever had in my life, but there's an expansive menu, and I haven't yet had the chance to try everything I want! I love the fact that it's 24-hour as well. I'm getting to be a bit too old to be out crazy partying all night like I have in the past, but if that ever happens again, this WILL be the spot we choose to wind down the evening's festivities. Parking can be a bit tough if you do drive, but I was lucky to snag a spot as someone was leaving the parking lot. I just so highly recommend this spot for breakfast, lunch, brunch, whatever. Give it a try!

I love buzz brews. It's just one of those places. It's housed in a delapidated building that should probably be torn down. I think it has so much character inside though. You will see the same career waitresses that have been there for years serving up some of the best food you can get 24 hours a day. Forget ihop buzz brews is where it's at. Tonight I had one of the most wonderful cups of joe ever, hazelnut cream coffee. Yum. Our waitress and the whole staff was very accommodating even though the joint was packed out at 1:30 in the morning. I had the mr. C plate which consists of basically migas with churezo instead of ground beef or sausage. My girlfriend ordered some of the most light and fluffy pancakes I have ever tasted. Buzz brews even though on the beaten path... Is very easy to miss because the sign is hard to see. Once you find them you will be in for a real treat. One of the best spots to have breakfast in Dallas. Prices are great, it's clean even though the building may not necessarly be safe to occupy, and the staff is warm and friendly. **** four stars CHEERS!

Perfect late night munchies! I love the French connection but the best part about this place besides the delicious food with great prices is their REAL sugar cane sodas! I legitimately freaked out when I tasted their Dr. Pepper for the first time. Don't be alarmed if you have to sit next to strangers when it's crowded late at night.

Feeling Buzzed? One of the best after 2 am stops is Buzz Brews! Here you will find a welcoming rest and refueling stop after a night of lively libations. The hardest part really is finding a parking spot inside the Best Western Motel parking lot. Once you're in, walk into a cozy dining area, tables are sometimes scarce so be prepared for communal sitting. Don't fret, most people here are very friendly (especially after 2am) and you will most likely meet a new friend rather than frienemy. Freshly brewed coffee is ready for the taking, no need to wait for wait staff. Take a look around, this place has character. From the art on the walls to the people who come here, everything you find is unique. The food is no exception, with many options over the norm bland bacon and eggs. Come grab some brew.

Attached to an old run down looking Best Western in what looks to be an old Waffle House - regardless of the exterior....there's some yummy food cookin up in there! I had the chicken a la buzz....grilled chicken and they gave me veggies instead of beans and rice as a side....was delish. Also my fresh squeezed lemonade was the best I've ever had and totally worth $3. My lunch partners raved over there sandwiches and they looked big enough for 2 ppl to share! The ingredients are all quality. This is definitely a place to add to my repeat lunch list!

This place was pretty fantastic. To start, kombucha. I make my own brew at home, but I still really liked their extra tart raspberry flavored kombucha. I would have tried regular if they had any, but I guess they just keep a few flavors around. I'm a vegetarian, so I ordered these veggie tacos which contained the most delicious vegetarian sausage ever. Like, really. My husband was convinced it wasn't vegetarian, my niece was like, "Wow, I really should go veggie again", etc. My husband ordered a standard eggs, veggie sausage, regular breakfast, which he thought was amazing. My niece ordered a really really really good looking BLT. The bacon was perfect looking and there was a super crisp delicious pickle to steal from her plate. She made sounds of exuberance the entire way through, so I can safely say it was a win. Our waiter was pretty laid back, but I take off a star for it being in the dumbest area ever. We almost killed ourselves trying to make the turn. Anyways. Mm!

So tiny, so crowded, so worth it!!! Be prepared to wait for space to open up if you show up right after the bars close on a weekend. If you're coming just for the food and coffee and not a place to sober up, I'd highly suggest coming on a weeknight instead. **shared parking with the Best Western! They make their own bread and both the white and the honey-wheat are amazing. The honey wheat is actually covered in honey and butter and it is SO GOOD, I prefer it to the white and I get it every time I'm here. I believe they make their own jelly too, and it's aces. My favorite dish is a tie between Bluto, Hare Krishna, and the "Hangover Special" chicken tortilla soup. The various Mr and Ms breakfasts are good, the Nopales (cactus) dish was very different but so worth it to try. The only thing I have to say is that I don't really like their refried black beans, they're very tart somehow, and the garlic marbles are meh. Best thing to drink: flavored lattes. My favorite one is the Rocky Mountain Hazelnut flavor. **Very vegetarian friendly! I was introduced to the place by a strictly vegetarian friend. p.s. There actually *are* bathrooms. I've never had to use them, but I know that you have to walk out the door and go around a corner to a service hallway of the tiny building where there are doors to the bathrooms. Just ask your server and s/he'll direct you to where they are. It's not scary, it's all inside the patio part of the building, you don't have to venture out into the parking lot or anything. Also, they have a customer loyalty card where if you buy 7 meals you get the 8th free or something like that.

I've only dined at Buzzbrews twice in the past three to four years and both times I ate myself stupidly sick during a 3am stuff-your-face-fest. And both mornings, after a night of relentless tossing and turning in bed, did I realize it wasn't worth it. I mean, a 24-hour eats place is always awesome. Service is always great considering the questionable characters they have to put up with. You might even make a few friends (or enemies along the way). But there's nothing remarkable or completely amazing on the menu that will always put Buzzbrews on my "Farrah Does Dallas" map. To end on a positive note, I do appreciate that they serve vegetarian sausage. And you get your food unbelievably fast.

Outstanding food. service and a fun menu. The restaurant is small and has limited seating. But it goes to the character of the theme. The menu is fun and unique. The food is fantastic. I will definitely go back when I visit next year.

Oh one of my favorite breakfast any time of day or night kind of places. Sometimes a short wait at 2:30 a.m. but so worth it. Lots of variety on the menu. Skip the pancake joints & Cafe Brazil, BBs is the bomb. Try the Hare Krishna egg white crepes...so Yummy

We went here after a night out on the town. Crowded with the same type of folk. Loved the environment. Asked the waiter for the best thing on the menu. I honestly cant remember what it was called but it was very... Irish. potatoes, gravy, onions, cheese, mushroom's. It was good, but I got a pancake on the side, LOVED IT! I would recommend this place to everyone, something need and puts awful house to shame.

We went on a Sunday morning at 8:30, and were greeted as we walked in. The place wasn't busy so we sat right down. The first sign that things were probably not going to go well was the band aid that was in the rim of the first coffee cup I picked up. Being a coffee lover, I was looking forward to getting there, especially after looking at their website (which is very good). However, it was disappointing because they only had two (non-decaf) coffees brewed. Looking at their website, I was expecting at least five to be available. We ordered some food - panckages, eggs over easy, bacon, potatoes and some soup (they are open 24 hours/day). The pancakes were some of the best, if not the best, I've ever had. The eggs and bacon though, came out raw - literally. We sent the eggs and bacon back, and this time the eggs came out overcooked (the yolks had been broken and cooked). The bacon though, was still very undercooked. At this point, we didnt' sent it back and figured we'd let our feet do the talking.

Ok, so I have to say first off that I hate diners. I am not one of those people who enjoy a hearty meal of scrambled eggs and sausage and a short stack in the wee hours of the morning. I am somewhat of a refined early diner with brownie points for poached egg dishes, delicate cold cuts, assorted cheeses... I am definitely a snobby breakfast eater. So as I awoke at the early hour of 6AM in Dallas with some buddies, I had to sneak out and check out what the Buzz was all about at BuzzBrews. They were still sleeping, so I drove myself down the service road from our hotel to BuzzBrews. Sure, it seems like an Austin-style hippie-ish diner that I am so familiar with by now having college friends melt over Kerbey Lane and Magnolia Cafe. Well, was I in for a treat with this limited breakfast menu. $2.50 for unlimited refills of 5 various fresh-brewed coffee choices of the day. Absolutely great deal for coffee lovers. Make your own crepes for $4.50+add ons. This caught my attention because of the assorted goodies you could put in your crepe. On top of this, you get a nice, buttery poblano cream with a side of fresh fruit and toast! $4.50 is totally a steal assuming you don't add anything. Well... all I have to say is I have had my fair share of diner food, and nowhere have I been able to get cactus, shiitakes, veggie sausage, and black beans in a single crepe covered in poblano cream. Enough said... this diner gets my vote.

It had been almost 8 months since my last horrible trip to Buzzbrews when I received clueless service that bordered on a real life Bonnie and Clyde routine. Of course, this was nothing new, I had always been a fan of Buzzbrew's food but not their service. This last visit, though, showed a huge improvement since the awful one 8 months before. I'm a little bit nervous to admit this because it might have just been a fluke, but I think my wife and I had one of the most awesome experiences we've ever had there yesterday. We came around 3 in the afternoon and we were seated immediately. The first thing that impressed me (though if you think about it, it's not a big deal at all) was when the waitress understood my custom drink order: 1/2 orange juice and 1/2 soda water. I know, I know, it sounds like you need an advanced chemistry degree to handle it, and believe me I've had my share of waitstaff who left their graphing calculators at home that day and had a really hard time understanding my complex technobabble: "Could I have 1/2 orange juice and 1/2 soda water mixed together please?" But we miraculously had a woman who clearly understood me and furthermore reassured me that it would be no problem at all. As for my wife, well, she was feeling a little under the weather so she ordered the chicken soup. When it came out the soup was as they always make it -- loaded up with lots of chicken and veggies, but one might say that they were a little heavy handed on the amount of solids swimming in the broth. So, after whittling down the soup to about half of its original stature, we politely asked if they could just give us some more broth. Once again -- with a smile, I might add -- she sympathized with our plight and rushed off to handle it. Meanwhile I just took in the scenery. They now serve beer and wine and have trivia every Wednesday. It also looks like they could do karaoke if they wanted to but I didn't see any advertisement for that. My wife and I agreed -- it would be SO cool to have a place to hang out that offered a fun bar alternative. I hope they follow through with the direction they're going in because I think that it has a lot of potential. When our food came, bla bla bla bla... it was awesome. We all know this part -- THAT was never an issue. We were quickly brought our check and I left with the sense that it was about time to give Buzzbrews another shot. Anybody who hasn't been there in a while should do the same! Great job Buzzbrews! Keep it up and I'll give you all 5!

Buzzbrews accomodated our large group of 15 like a breeze. Some other places have had a hard time but there was plenty of staff, waiters doing a smooth job waiting on us hand and foot. Very laid back atmosphere! Music some nights , OPEN 24 HOURS! Sandy Maltese Organizer TheDFWCoffeeGroup.com

I got pulled over by a cop one night right in front of the Best Western. I had been drinking and the cop could tell. He asked how much I had had to drink and I said "two beers." He said "bullshit, you wanna go to jail?" I said "no." He said "do you have money to stay at this motel?" I said "yes sir." He said "alright, pull in and get a room for the night." He follows me into the parking lot and watches me park, get out and go up to the window (it was late). Then he sits there in his squad car with the lights blaring, still watching. After paying for the room I turn to go up to my room, when he says "hey, come here." I walk over to his car and he asks to see my room key. I show it to him and he says "consider this your lucky night." Now, since this is my lucky night, I grabbed the rest of the beer out of my truck and head back up to my room, pick up the phone and make some calls, obviously to see how far I can ride this lucky streak. I call this chick I know and she asks if I want to come over. I told her the story and that the cop said he would be watching to see if my vehicle left the premises. I asked if she wanted to meet me at the "little shit diner next to the Best Western on Fitzhugh and 75." She said "sure." Oh, lucky indeed. I walk over to meet her and we chat and place our orders. I forget exactly what it was I needed from the waitress, but in order to get her attention I placed a bottle of ketchup on the top of my head. I managed to balance it there for about 45 seconds when BOOM! It fell off and smashed all over the floor. That did get her attention. I don't work at the circus, but I do believe I could have kept it there longer if she hadn't thrown hash browns at me. Oh yes, we were being pure white trash. We left and went back to my room. I can't tell you much about the food and only a little about the service, but I'm pretty sure I had a good time. Oh, it truly was my lucky night. Should have bought a lotto ticket.

Coffee is decent to good, but there's a bunch of options. I usually like the unsweetened flavored iced tea. The food isn't anything special, but at a 24 hour endless coffee place it really doesn't have to be. The walls are lined with outlets and are very laptop friendly, the location is just weird though. You have to leave the premises briefly and walk around outside to go to the bathroom and you're in the middle of a hotel.

Don't let its outward appearance scare you! This is one of our favorite places to go in Dallas by far. Their food is extremely unique due to their ingredient combinations (ahem - they are HUGE fans of chorizo). I've never been to any other place quite like it. Pretty much anything named after a Popeye character is an absolute WIN. Not to mention their snickerdoodle steamers. I'm nurturing a healthy steamer addiction, thanks to them. My father also thought their coffee was so good when he visited from out of state that I have been assigned to bring him a bag of their coffee beans whenever I leave Texas to visit him. I'm telling you - we're dedicated.

Another big time disconnect between food and service here. I like the concept here, a 24 hour place with coffee and wifi where you can always get breakfast. They have a special menu from 11-3, that's what I rocked. Got the salad with spinach, strawberries and smoked salmon. And yes, I like alliteration. The thing was awesome. It had the above mentioned ingredients plus cucumbers, mushrooms, onions and avocado. And a strawberry/vinegar/oil ambrosia dressing. Amazingly tasty salad. Rest of the experience though, not so much. Service was okay at first, three folks in the place all seemed to be helping out each other and there were only 12 tables or so. I ended up with the blonde chick instead of the tattooed guy. She was great up until I told her I'd be staying for a while to work. She told me she got off at 4 and I said no problem I'd be done by then and would be sure to pay her out. It was about 2 at this point. And I didn't really see her again. She pretty much ignored me and my empty drink in favor of standing at the counter and watching the clock. Even when I asked, she took my drink but it was said tattoo guy bringing it out. I was torn, I'd taken her table for some time so I should have left a better tip but she was wretched. Oh, and whatever "artist" has their wares for sale there? Fail. Painting the head of Willie Nelson and Joni Mitchell and other musicians and giving them all some stupid heart where their collar bones meet and calling each thing "The Sacred Heart of" whoever and charging $375? You're stupid. Or high. Probably both. Five stars for the food, no doubt, but the rest is a waste.

One visit, one dessert, one new fan. Had the Kaluha chocolate cake with caramel and whipped cream, a sliced strawberry on top, and wow that was really good. Very moist, rich but not overpowering. I'm normally not a big chocolate cake fan, so for me to really like it says something for sure. I also had a cup of coffee - sampled all varieties that were out (5-6) before settling on one, and just based upon that cursory tasting, decent coffee. Was happy to see they had two varieties of decaf coffee....sometimes you feel like a late night cup of joe but don't feel like staying up all night, and it's nice to have a choice for that. I think I just found my replacement for Cafe Brazil.

Buzzbrew's, I didn't expect to feel this way about you so soon. But I might be in very strong like. Went today for lunch with a group of coworkers, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The divey look had at least one of us a little skeered to walk in and sit down, but we're all glad we did! We started with nachos for the table, and then had 2 BL T's, Chicken a la Buzz, a Buzz Club, an omelet and steak and eggs. Everyone raved about the food, and my steak was the perfect size and cooked a perfect medium. Just perfect. I was very pleased. Portion size is great, the price is right and the food was so freaking F*R*E*S*H. Two of us had the fresh lemonade - and both agreed it was possibly the best we've ever had, ever in our lives. And that's nearly 75 years of lemonade drinkin between us y'all. It's some good stuff. I was not brave enough this time to try the canteloupade...maybe next time. And oh yes, there WILL be a next time Buzzbrew's.

Buzz Brew's is a great place for all meals. They have a array of food choices. I recommend the Chicken soup and fruit salad. If you want to order healthy you can, they have food for every picky eater.

This is a fantastic brunch spot that has that Austin, TX kinda feel. The coffee rocks, the entrees are delicious, the variety is fantastic, and the prices are lower than most brunch spots in Dallas (which I realize isn't saying much). I went to the original location, and yes, it is in the parking lot of a motel. Nothing wrong with that, just interesting and might help you find it. The inside is very small, it can be difficult to move around. Overall I am dying to go back here and would highly recommend.

The menu was different and needed translation but the food was good. Me and my guest both had omelettes but I can't remember the name of either but they were good. The breakfast potatoes which also had a weird name was good also. Will try again definitely

Wow how highly disappointing this was for me. I tried a burger at the lemon location and it was well below par for the outrageous price. Today I tried the 75 location. Ordered a burger and well no burgers were to be had? What kind of place doesnt have burgers? especially for $10 Anyway i got a chicken sandwich. The sandich was about as exciting as a MCDonalds chicken sandich. The waitress was awesome though! Very down to earth and a asset to her employer. If you want low quality food at a above quality price this is the place for you. People always ask me where to go for lunch or just a good meal and I will be sure to say do not go to Buzz Brews. After reading the reviews of other diners it appears that when you are drunk and it is a crazy hour of the morning the food is good. But so its Dennys...

A unique breakfast experience. I prefer it to IHOP which is where the squid wanted to go (damn commercials). The Amigas were good, as were the griddle cakes and Mr.C (homemade chorizo and eggs). Service was slow, but it was a busy morning. Good coffee and I'm going back for the homemade cakes!

(This is a companion piece to my Lemmon location review.) Buzz Brews, I love you. I really do. This isn't just my loins talking, either. I'd never been inside you until this past Friday. It was a magical experience. Your first time always is. Maybe it was the fact that I'd just left a Sebadoh concert and, despite the fact that Dallasites tried as hard as they could to ruin it (per usual) (I will cover this in my "Granada Theater" review), I was all ready quite horny, er, happy. I mean happy. Lou Barlow's dreamy, isn't he? In a straight, totally hetero man-love way. Which is exactly what this Buzz Brews isn't: straight (as in "square"), or hetero. And that's why I love you. Maybe it was because you were staffed by people who were just people, doin' their own thang and minding their own business. It's a job, but they're happy and they don't give a shit about putting up any sort of front. It's Central Expressway, who would they be trying to impress? Late night drunks don't care what shoes you wear or what music you listen to. They just want good, greasy eats and lots of coffee and on that note you deliver, continue delivering and keep delivering even after I've broken up with you, filed charges and gotten a restraining order. Like a battered wife I'll be back, though. Looking for love in all the wrong (right?) places. The one time I've been to this Buzz Brews I had a fantastically gay waiter. At least, I think he was gay. My gaydar is very bad. I bumblingly hit on Lou Barlow after all. Even if my waiter wasn't gay he was definitely fantastic. He was attentive and knowledgeable, timely and quick, unobtrusive and came as fast as he went. That's not a joke, I swear. My point is that at this Buzz Brews the staff rule because they're people. There's the sassy, playful black chick, the fantastically gay Mexican waiter, the kinda gnarly white rocker girl, and none of them seem to be anyone but who they really are. You dig? It's a refreshing bit of non-bullshit, especially in Dallas. The restaurant itself is like this weird cross between Moe's and Freebirds. Music oriented, with shitty music that everyone talks over and makes fun of. Weirdo murals on the wall that make me think I'm about to murdered in Phil Spector's study. And tiny. Really tiny. As I said in my other review I felt like a sex offender walking past people. But who cares? Their service rules. They have double the amount of coffee pots out as the Lemmon location and it's always fresh and clean coffee that tastes great. The portions are larger, taste fresh and everything that's crisp is crisp and nothing's ever runny. It's intimate without being cramped and that gives it a real independent, homey feel. And I guess that's what these reviews boil down to, isn't it? This Buzz Brews is the original, the rebellion against the mediocre and the masses. The Lemmon Buzz Brews is the larger, shinier, post-success celebratory wank fest that's supposedly better in every way but comes off just as cold and calculated as a Fridays or Pancake House. It's exacting, whereas the original BB is personable and inviting. That's why you'd never see couples, straight and most definitely very gay, make out at the location on Lemmon like I did at the one on Central. That's why this review has such a sexual undertone (and is still pretty wannabe-hipsterfied, sorry, it takes a few days to get the poser out of my system after going to BB the 2nd), whereas my Lemmon one is just plain mean. You'll see some fucked up shit at this one, most likely while still drunk, and nearly anything seems to go so long as you're not robbing them at gunpoint. It's a cool place, with good food, and good coffee, and good people, and there'll never be any self-righteous Dallas yuppies staring down drunk people making out and enjoying themselves like PEOPLE SHOULD. Which is good, because I think it would have made Lou feel a little awkward on our date. Five stars.

Buzzbrews is a great place for anyone who is looking for diner style food on the less greasy side. I recommend the Chicken Chimichuri. It's a huge plate of food for a low price, not to mention it's very tasty. I especially love the grilled chayote and the refried black beans, yum!! This is an especially great place if you're looking to get away from the Dallas scene to just chill and have some food. Free wifi and outlets make this an ideal place for an extended working lunch or dinner. Gets 4 stars because the iced tea needs improvement. Otherwise this is a standby place whenever I visit Dallas.

Love their staff, all very friendly, very welcoming. Awesome service, the food is good, and the coffee is great. My absolute favorite Buzzbrews locations. I've tried the others, but I like this one the best.

Went here a week ago or so because the sis wanted to check it out for breakfast. When we got there, a guy( whom we later found out worked there) was sitting outside and ran to open the door for us to enter Buzzbrews. we thought that was pretty cool of him. Sis ordered Griddled Toast Tooty Fruity and I got the Buzzy Builder with turkey and nopales. The waitress there told me nopales is a cactus and told me it's pretty tasty and it definitely was interesting! All in all, it's a pretty cool place for breakfast. Would come back again.

Had to look twice for Buzzbrews off of 75 - this tiny Austin-like joint is located in the parking lot of a Best Western. The parking lot was packed from hotel guests and Buzzbrews customers, but they had someone in the parking lot directing you where to park. There's minimal seating in the restaurant so they offer communal seating - you could plop right down next to another party of 2 if there's no other tables available. Luckily there was one last table in the back corner open. Very promptly after sitting down our waitress came and took our drink orders and asked if we had any questions. The amazing coffee is self serve, and they have about 20 different varieties in total, with maybe half of them available each day. The brews range from hazelnut to chocolate cinnamon to tiramisu! I could go back endlessly to try all the different ones! I ordered the Vegie Vegie, my friend ordered the Californication, and the bf ordered the Amigas. The Vegie Vegie had amazing whole wheat tortillas, eggs, and veggie sausage. Now don't get me wrong, I love meat just like any other carnivore, but I think I almost like veggie sausage more than regular sausage! The garlic marbles are mini potatoes in the form of awesomeness. My friend cleaned off her Californication and I was sneaking bites of the Amigas. Our waitress was always prompt with water refills and checking back to see if we needed anything. On our way out, almost every employee said bye to us (granted, the joint is so tiny they see everyone leaving) but definitely shows what kind of service Buzzbrews has to offer. Buzzbrews is open 24 hours and also offers non-breakfast food like burgers, soups and salads, etc. I'll be going back to try some of their crepes! Having lived in Austin for 4.5 years, I've been missing local joints, especially late night ones, and Buzzbrews is the most Austin-like restaurant I've been to so far in Dallas.

So I've been coming to this particular Buzzbrews for a while. I love that the parking is in a garage considering the area doesn't have great parking for business. The mimosas are always strong which I love and they have many options for vegetarians. My only downside would be the price but other than that pretty awesome. Good atmosphere and the decorations are pretty awesome too.

Open 24 hrs, bottomless (delicious) coffee...think Cafe Brazil but cheaper and more intimate. Walls are covered with great artwork and they play all the best new music. Free Internet. Enjoy!

Had my first visit to Buzzbrews on Saturday night after the Spinal Tap concert at Nokia (it was amazing BTW). We tried to go to another spot first, but it was closed due to a power outage from the scary storms. So, we headed over to Buzzbrews. My friends said this place was run by the former owner of Cafe Brazil, hence the similarities. BB is super tiny and became packed as time went on. Apparently, they do community tables when they get crowded. The food was pretty good. I had the Cobb salad with jalapeno ranch dressing. The dressing was snappy spicy, so I really liked it. I can see that it would be bit much for some folks though. Sugar Bear had a Black Cherry Italian soda (which he loved) and the banana pancakes. A super gross combination of sweet stuff to me, but he seemed happy. I sampled the banana pancakes they were amazing, and that is coming from someone who despises pancakes. This is a terrific late night dining spot. I will be back if I'm in the neighborhood, but I don't know that we would go out of our way to get here.

This is one of my all time favorite breakfast places! The menu is eclectic and the food is delicious. The service is good and the coffee is incredible! You can get almost anything made the way you like it!

I will give the disclaimer that I was hungover, but I think if you are impressed by a hungover breakfast, and want to go back, that it is a true breakfast hall-of-fame candidate. We rolled into Buzzbrews before heading to Tulsa for a wedding. I am a sucker for pancakes (when I don't have to make them), and so that was an obvious choice. No joke, these were the best pancakes I have had in a long time (old favorite at Blue Jay Cafe in San Francisco still takes the... cake... - sorry-). Not only was the food great, but they have a bottomless coffee bar. Wow. That kept me wired until the following Thursday. Excellent place, excellent food, and next time I am in Dallas I will head there for breakfast.

Why does it seem like everything in Dallas shuts down at 10pm? New York City, we ain't. Thankfully, we do have Buzzbrews. Started by one of the former Cafe Brazil owners, this place is what CB would be if they had really great food. Open 24 hours, Buzzbrews has saved me on numerous occasions when I needed to eat a late dinner or was starving after a night out. I dig going for breakfast too, but the Uptown location is better suited for busy times of day since it holds more than 20 people. I think all of the egg and crepe based dishes here are pretty good, though I think the pancakes should be skipped. My favorite thing here is the Chicken San Miguel, chicken sauteed with onion, tortilla strips, and tomatillo sauce mixed with scrambled eggs and topped with mozz cheese. They are served with Buzzbrews refried black beans, which are outrageously good. The atmosphere at Buzzbrews is totally hit or miss depending on the time you go. I've been there when they've been blasting techno so loud that I couldn't hear the person next to me, but I've also been there when they've been rockin some decent indie tunes. No matter the music, though, the self serve bottomless coffee and tasty food is enough of a reason to keep going back.

I have become quite the fan of the Weekend breakfast/brunch adventures. Whether we go to our normal hot spots, or we try something new, its always fun! Buzzbrews was no exception :) From the suggestion of a friend, and the love of new eating places, Lance and I tried this place out. Fun atmosphere and decor, but it is TEEENY TINY! So be prepared to bump elbows, go through mazes to get your coffee...and have to decide to either give crotch or ass shots to more than one person as you make your way through. Our first visit was great...sat at the bar..had amazing service from lotsa folks, all exceptionally nice....very refreshing. The coffee is good...it's "serve yourself" like Cafe Brazil....which i dont mind at all, but it does get hairy when its crowded cause the place is so small. The food that time was amazing...I had Mrs. C's and added mushrooms, Lance had a BLT and added an egg cooked over easy on top....YUM. All around yumminess. I took my dad and sis there, another great experience. I thought this place couldnt lose, but alas, Lance and I went back and it was just TOO crowded, and we got sat in the back dungeon area where it is almost impossible o get up and get your coffee without almost knocking over the table next to you, or accidentally dipping your butt in someone's ketchup...even the guy next to me had to scoot over into my booth in order for his daughter to get out....awwwkwaaaaard. And my turkey sammich and Lances burger were only so-so.........sooooooooo... If you get the right stuff, and get there at a not-so-packed moment, the place is great...otherwise it can be a little tasking. OH...and it's open 24-hours, but no alcohol (which means no morning mimosas...and that's just not american)

Like Melody I *think* I'm a fan. Not because I was a "wee bit tipsy" (I had just left work at 10:30pm), but because the place totally looks like I should LOVE it....but the food was kind of, meh. Had the Buzzbrew burger deluxe, which while fairly tasty, only offered a big-ass bun as the "deluxe" part. Jakes, Chips, Chilis, Twisted Root -- all better tasting. And I didn't really get the watermelon garnish. Perhaps it was to be a quirky thing. Lainey had the french toast, which is a good knock-off of Cafe Brazil's. Place seemed clean enough, and the service sufficed. Perhaps I should try other dishes.

We totally did a show in an empty warehouse in South Dallas. There was tons of people and we were pleasantly surprised. Our friend who help set up the show (John Rawley from The Victims) insisted we visit Buzzbrews post-show. We were skeptical because we had to drive to Lafayette the next morning. We thought it was a bar. Listen up people. Brew sometimes means coffee, so boy did I feel like a jerk when I walked in this place. There wasn't any beer to be found. Yeah, exactly. Two surprises in one night. This one was also pleasant, as the idea of hanging out at a bar at this time wasn't cool with us. We followed through with a vegetable quesadilla and spinach crepes and had no problem falling asleep later that night. We'd probably go back to Buzzbrews if this situation presented itself again, but we're going to order from opposite sides of the menu for reasons we can't really get into here.

Buzzbrews Kitchen, oh how pleased I am to have found you! Cafe Brazil may be more popular around town, however Buzzbrews has the better menu! I love going here for the omelets and crepes, which yeah, I can get those at Cafe Brazil as well... But let me tell ya, they're better here at Buzzbrews! My favorite is the Bluto crepe with chorizo...Nom, nom, nom... It's delicious. But there's so much more on this menu that I've been wanting to try. Banana nut pancakes?? Nopales?? Just take a look. It's all really good. The friends that I have brought here have been more than pleased and have come back as well. If it wasn't for the location, which is nestled in a parking lot for a hotel, it could be a real hot spot here in Dallas. It's a shame it's not in a better location, really.

My wife loves coffee and great food. Buzz brew has both. The French connection is one of their best. This location is a dinner, so be warned, when things get busy, you may end up sharing a table with other guests. Its one of those word of mouth kind of places and well worth the hype.

I have to give a shout out for my friend Chase who reminded me of this new location. I have had so much trouble finding a place to work that wasn't overtaken by hundreds of others type type typing away. I have needed a place somewhat free of distraction and now I have finally found it! Not only does this place have a large and comfortable area, but it has healthy yummy food, never ending coffee, outlets at every booth and free wifi. It feels cleaner than the other location, and I ran into a lot fewer drunkos here. The staff is also super friendly and seem to enjoy working here. As far as the clientelle, there was a couple who had gone out on the town, a few students studying for tests, another dude working on his laptop and me yelping away. i would definitely suggest this place for: A) Sobering up after drinking too much at The Grapevine or any other bars in the area. B) A pretty quiet spot to study or work. C) Awesome breakfast food including egg dishes, pancakes, crepes and griddles.
