No complaints about quality. All of their wines are cheap, but decent. They carry a seasonal beer from St. Arnold. I had to get my silverware from a cup at the drink station. Big deal. I'll eat here again.

Vero is one of the best restaurants in Conroe. Great food, budget friendly, & the management/owners are great. My favorite is the Parmesan Chicken & pepperoni pizza.

This stylish Italian kitchen brings to life authentic pizza as though it came Italia itself. The service was EXCEPTIONAL as I was attended 2 seconds walking through the door. The pizza is hand made in front of you then brought to your table. Apart from the food and service the restroom, and dining floor were absolutely clean. I will be returning to this location various times even though my home is several, several miles away.

Haven't had a bad thing to eat here! Fast service, super hot, and always consistent. It's pretty cool that the staff all dress like Mario & Luigi. More review filler. Seriously Vero is delicious and I wish the staff actually dressed like the famous Italian plumbers. Best Italian food in Conroe by far. Wish they were open on Mondays.

Best and fastest to go I've ever experienced. Delicious pizza with a hearty tomato taste which was perfect for my prego cravings.

We stopped in after a day on the lake. Simple menu, good food, great location. We had the margherita pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. Plate were licked clean! Garlic bread was great!

I eat here 2-3 times a week and I've got to say it's great food, awesome prices, and good location! Definitely would recommend anyone eat here, weather it's casual or a date!

Best Italian food in Montgomery county! The prices are fabulous and the restaurant is clean. The service is above other restaurants. Pizzas are great too!

I have eaten here 6 or so times and have yet to be disappointed. The pizza is as close to Italy as you can get. If you want greasy, cheesy, American-style pizza then don't waste your time. If you want fresh, thin-crust, tasty pizza then make the trip. Pricing is reasonable and good for kids. Vero is a regular stop for us

Vero Italian Kitchen is homemade and very good. Excellent dishes, quick service and the owner is there to make sure everything runs smoothly. Very fair prices. Good portions and great food EVERYTIME! I highly recommend!

After reading mostly good reviews, had to try Vero Italian Kitchen. The food was just okay, I've had much better. The price was reasonable, but would never pay a dime more. Dr. Pepper was watered down, the sweet tea was better.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
