Not at all good Chinese food. I gave two stars because the vegetables were cooked right. We ordered combination fried rice(which was the only ok dish), garlic chicken(meat was flavorless but the veggies were seasoned and cooked properly), finally the sesame chicken(was over cooked rubber). This was an experience I will not live again..

I don't know what kind of Chinese foods these folks are accustomed to but this place is not even close to good. I should not have to improve on my food once I get it home. Since when do you make fried rice without green onions or eggs?? Is this a means of keeping the cost low? You can make better fried rice on your own.

I have been looking for a good Chinese place in Carrollton and I finally found it! The good got here in like 25 minutes and was steaming hot. I was surprised at how fast they were. We had the beef and broccoli and it was the best I have had! We will definitely be ordering again.

First time customer and ordered delivery from China One. Not only was the food super yummi but the portions were BIG and the prices very reasonable! The online ordering was really easy and convenient. And the food got delivered VERY fast - well done for a Friday afternoon/early evening. Will definitely try China One again!

Whyyyyyyy is it so hard to find a decent Chinese delivery joint!?!? Thank you, C1 for continuously putting that flyer on my door!! Just moved to the neighborhood and you are my definite go to when I can't bear to see the light of day! Ok, or shower. Lol. Have always had a terrible time finding a consistent and yummy Chinese place... Til now!! Addicted to the delicately sweet honey chicken. Obsessed with the crab Rangoon. Not in love with the fried rice, however the dinner pork fried rice is better. Great egg rolls too. And the folks are seriously fast!! I have to make sure I have a bra own before I hang up the phone!!

My wife and I both really like China One, and it has become our go to place for Chinese in North Carrollton. The food is consistent and it's tasty however I really would like some more vegetables in most of the dishes but again the quality of what you are given is very consistent and there is seldom a problem with your order. One problem they do have is that every time you call in your order they tell you Oh it'll be 10-15 minutes, however in reality is usually like 20 to 30 minutes, and that's if you go to pick it up yourself. we've tried several of the dishes there and they've all been quite tasty so I can honestly say that we haven't had a bad dish there yet. The egg rolls are just okay, and the soups are sometimes hit and almost miss, but all in all it's a really nice place to grab some comfort Chinese.

Really good food, service, environment and price. Huge family style portions, so I recommend going as a group and planning for leftovers. They brought our son his own kid-sized plate. That was a nice touch.

This Place is great!! The place is clean and we order mostly for delivery. The food is excellent quality and they make my chicken fried rice to order for me! They deliver it so fast that it's still piping hot when it gets here! Please ! TIP YOUR DRIVER!!!! This is a great place with great service and food and this is how they make their living! It's the price of convenience for you not to have to go out and pick up food!! (And no- I do not know them or work for them). It just always shocks me to hear that most people do not tip. I always try to think of it as "what if that were my son or daughter working there?" Great food. Great service. Love this place!!!

  • Foodie G.

Tried this place for the first time and YUM!!! I just love when I run into a great Chinese fast food spot. I indulged in their chicken and broccoli with steamed rice. I also ordered their house lo mein noodles and both dishes were fresh and delicious! Service was fast and the staff even though were very busy, were very kind and professional. I will definitely come back soon to try their orange chicken and fried rice! You've got to check this place out!

Nice little eat in or take out Chinese food. Not very big location but Tastes are big

This part of Carrollton used to never have any good Chinese food. It had us questioning if we could even survive here at all.. between that and the Ebola outbreak, we weren't sure that north Dallas was the place to be anymore. That all changed tonight. As we scrolled through the news channels and witnessed the fear mongering, I suggested Chinese food. We checked Yelp and you guys said to try China One, so we did (because everywhere else in this area sucks) But it turned out that this place is- Hands down- theeee best chinese food I've ever eaten. Legitimately perfect in every way. Fried dumplings?! Yes please. We ate all 8 of them!!! Crab Rangoon?! You bet we did. And I don't EVEN feel bad about it (because it was that good) We will absolutely order from them again.. Like tomorrow. We will probably order again tomorrow.

Solid American Chinese food. Quality ingredients (beef, pork, vegetables), especially compared to the other options in Carrollton.

Great food. Very delicious but when it comes to customer service it would be terrible. This place is strictly order food and take it home. They have seating if your wanted to enjoy your food at the restaurant but they don't service you your silverware, water or napkins. After we ordered our food they forgot to put a lid on it which I thought was disrespectful because germs can enter the food. Customer service: terrible. Food: great. Atmosphere: okay

It makes me really sad to write this review. My family and I have been ordering food from here quite regularly. The food has always been hot, delivered quickly, and of decent take out quality. Lets be real here it's not traditional, or the best, but for delivery Chinese it's pretty good. Unfortunately the owners customer service is abysmal. We placed an $45 order that contained two similar chicken dishes. A regular chicken and broccoli and a steamed chicken and broccoli. When our order arrived we realized that the regular chicken and broccoli was missing. When I called to recieve a replacement I never imagined that I would be treated so badly by a man who called himself the owner. He accused me of lying about the missing dish to scam him. He refused to deliver a new dish or place a credit on my account. After repeatedly being told "the deal" was I came and picked up a new dish, or get nothing, I decided it was safer to stick with nothing. Who knows what would be in that dish if I actually picked it up. I'm sad to say this will be the last time I ever order from China One.

Finally, a very good Chinese restaurant in Carrollton that is fast and delicious. I've try many different places around here and was never satisfy with the taste. This place blows them all out of the water. The dinner special is cheap but fills you up. It's a lot of food for 8 bucks and some change. I love their fried rice. It has flavor and depth. The orange chicken has a light orange flavor and it has orange peel. You just have to try this place. There so much good food for me to put on yelp. My girlfriend comes all the way from Garland just to eat here! Forget Panda Express that is across the street. This is the place for some good, fast Chinese food.

Here's the meat and potatoes of my review: SOLID CHINESE FOOD I've gotten take out, delivery and dined in - it's always the same, in the best way possible. The flavors don't change and the food is always hot, fresh and tasty. I love veggies - best way to tell if they are fresh is if they still have a little 'crisp' to them when you bite down. The beef and broccoli, kung pao, mu shu pork, all taste fresh. I find that they provide the same amount of food as other chinese take out /delivery places but they quality is better. I strongly recommend them.

  • Stephanie H.

the food is really good and i like how this place is close to home.i went inside to get my order to go and they were fast at making my food.i would recommend you eat here because the food is good.

  • Tifna T.

The food was dry and not fresh. It didn't seem to have any spices and it was very bland. Probably my first and last time eating at China one.

  • Sidney E.

We ordered-in for delivery, one of many and I might say that this place is pretty consistent. That's a good thing cause the food that comes from this place is quite good. The food is quite good. We've ordered from all over the menu. Everything is always flavorful, always fresh, and always hot (yes! even with delivery, that in a moment. This has been the place for us to order delivery. To be honest, I've never been to the actual physical restaurant. And I don't think we'll ever have to if they keep delivering this fast. Its usually under 30 minutes and we've seen as fast as 15 sometimes. Good Chinese. Fast delivery. I don't think you can go wrong if you want to eat in.

  • D K.

Very disappointed. Went online to order a dinner to be delivered. It took 2 hours to arrive, and basically, It was lukewarm at best. Just not a good impression for me. I understand that Friday night is a busy time, but 2 HOURS? Really? I forget you long time China One.

Couple of things are for sure about this place. The price is good, especially for the lunch menu, and the portions are big. Compare to Panda Express this place is indisputably better unless you enjoy the byproduct quality chicken and beef. I'm glad this place was recommended to me. I've tried their Szechuan chicken which was really good and full of vegetables. I also liked their Beef lo mein. Recently, I tried their Hot n Spicy Beef, which was tons of onions and tiny bit of green bell pepper and the sauce was, I'm not sure what the sauce was, it wasn't spicy. I didn't like it at all. May be, I was there on their off days because chicken lo mein wasn't as good as Beef lo mein i've had before. Never the less, I would recommend this place. This is miles better than the other chain I've tried. I think for the quality, taste and portion, this is the Chinese takeout place for me. I just hope the stay consistent. Service is great and they offer delivery.

  • Tony S.

Just ok at best. Maybe I came on an "off" day or something. But, due to the other reviews, I was really looking forward to trying this place. I had the Combination Fried Rice & it was just so-so. The meat was actually pretty good. But the rice was just average, at best.

    (3)
  • Leslie W.

I haven't been to the physical location yet but I love to order from them for deliver. So far I have indulged in the chicken lo mein and vegetable/chicken fried rice. Been happy so far with both the service and the meals. Deliver is pretty quick as well. Food is still piping hot when I get it which is great. I would definitely recommend them.

  • Mike M.

First time here and I'll be back. We had sweet and sour chicken and Hunan chicken. I know, we are adventurous. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Tempura breading was perfect. Veggies in Hunan were crisp tender and sauce was just right. Get the veggie spring rolls...get several as they are tiny. Portions are huge making for great sharing.

I've ordered from these guys multiple times and they have always delivered quality food in a very timely fashion. Great food and great service I just wish I could order online.

We eat here at least once a week. We have been missing a decent Chinese place since Tsing Tao closed years ago. Always hot and fresh. Never had it delivered as we always pick-up. Gonna miss this place when we move.

My very first review.. I've been searching for a great place to order delivery Chinese and this place was amazing.. We ordered the dinner specials and it is so much food for the price my daughter and I could have shared just one.. But we will have lunch tomorrow so no worries.. The Orange chicken you could actually taste the Orange and it was not over done and the crab Rangoon was fantastic... The online ordering from yelp was super easy.. The food did take about 45 mins to arrive but I knew it would from someone else's review.. Also I live about 10 mins from the place so I was very pleased they still delivered to me.. I would complete recommend this to anyone and I will be ordering again

So good. We've ordered from so many Chinese take out/delivery places and they we all absolutely awful! This place... I could write a book on how fabulous the food is! It's so good, I want to slap my mamma! It's like Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris are having a kitchen show down IN MY MOUTH! Every thing we have ever gotten there has been super amazing yummy in our tummies!! Egg drop soup, egg rolls, szechuan beef, hunan beef, anything with fried rice is bombalicious! The portions are huge too! I can eat on this one entree for 3 lunches! No joke! As I'm typing this my husband keeps going mmmmm, mmmmmm, this is quality stuff RIGHT HERE! I'm serious, just order now. You will be happy with anything you get from them. Deliciously ridiculous!

  • Jessica S.

Since they opened this is the only Chinese restaurant we order for delivery. I would definitely recommend this place.

    (5)
  • Zoe R.

It's not that I don't like this place. I've been there several times and I think it's pretty good. It's just that no matter what I order, it all seems to taste like the same dish. Not a lot of distinctive flavors with their protein and veggie dishes. It's cheap, fast, and filling, though.

    (3)
  • Keri H.

Impressed with their orange chicken, was lightly breaded but still crispy. Crab Rangoon was good too. Super fast delivery.

  • Charlotte A.

The best Chinese food in town! You know it's going to be good when the receipt isn't even in English. This food is the real deal and so yummy! I haven't had a thing I didn't like and with such reasonable prices and great delivery service, I highly recommend China One!

  • Dana L.

I was so craving Chinese food but didn't want to go out. Was so happy to find this place that delivers. I wasn't really expecting too much but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very yummy. It tasted very fresh and not as oily. I ordered what is called mei fun. It was thin rice noodle stir fry. It was delicious. House fried rice was good. Chicken with garlic sauce was yummy as well. Will definitely order here again when I'm craving Chinese food.

  • Vickie P.

This is the best Chinese I've had in the DFW. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. The portion size was enough for 3 meals and was delicious!! I will be ordering from here again!

Really enjoyed the beef with broccoli. I loved it because I had no expectation at all what. Great surprise.

Now this place surprised us! We were grabbing food from Fuzzy's when we noticed the yogurt place finally reopened as a Chinese restaurant. We have not been able to find really decent Chinese in this area since we moved here 3 years ago. We figured why not try it? Man were we pleased!!!! The Szechuan chicken was exactly right! I haven't had it that good from anywhere other than Chicago! My husband had the General's chicken and for once it wasn't just an orange chicken imposter. And it wasn't more bread than chicken!!! We were impressed, but thought hey - it could've been a fluke, so I upped the ante. Next visit I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and asked if they had the brown sauce not the white ( if you like lobster sauce you know why that's important) and the chef said she could make it brown, it was an easy step. It tasted AWESOME!!!! At that point I was sold. Hubby tried the actual orange chicken this time and it was really good - even had the orange peels in it. My mom was visiting so she had shrimp fried rice and loved it! She is very hard to please and that just cemented this place as our best take-out food find of 2013! There are so many delicious options, I'm not sure what I'll try next!!

Ate here last night for the first time. Was really looking forward to this place after all the reviews. I agree the portions were nice but the food was not as great as i wished it was. We ordered 3 dishes to go and some egg rolls. The Eggrolls were perfect, old chinese style crispy on the outside, nice inside. Chicken fried rice was good as well. Nice portion, had a good taste to it. The Beef Lomein tasted Burnt but was not very hot. Not sure how that is possible,, maybe it cooked at a too high temperature, but was slightly disappointed. The big let down was the Moo Shu Chicken. Very very burned tasting. Had a terrible smell to it and was not acceptable enough to feed to the dogs. It was like some sort of weird cabbage that was not even chewable soiled in a very burnt nasty tasting sauce. I immediately had to wrap it up in a bag and run it out to our trash. I wish We would of ate IN so we could of shown this mess to the cooks and asked them to sit down and eat it themselves to ask them if they would feed it to their family. Thanks guys, but i think we are going to stick to Secret Recipe for now.

Every time I eat here, I fall more in love with this place. We've ordered several different items from their menu. Generals chicken and beef are both yummy as are the pan fried dumplings. The Singapore Mei Fun was really tasty and the staff was accommodating with my special request for certain proteins. Last but not least is my newest obsession, the Moo Shu. Delicious, healthy and even better with some hot chili oil. Just get it!

  • Amber O.

Meh. It's convenient because they deliver, they're fast and they seem really nice. However, the food is mediocre at best. With that being said, I'll still order from here.

Great website with online delivery. My food was ready when I arrived and still pipping hot when I got home. Delicious and very reasonably priced, especially their lunch menu!

I placed an order today at 11:00am. At 11:45, I checked my email - no update on delivery. I checked my bank account and a debit had been processed for the order from China One. So I figured I would give it a little longer since it's Friday and it's lunchtime. When I still heard nothing by 12:30pm, I checked my account again, and I had a credit on my account for the order total. So I called China One. I inquired about my order and the gentleman on the phone said he called me and left a message (which he did not) indicating they can't deliver to me. (My home is 5 miles away - there is no delivery mile radius listed on their website.) I explained I never received a phone call or a message and it was now an hour and a half since I placed my order. He then said, "You didn't get a message? Oh, sorry." And proceeded to ask if I wanted to place an order. I asked why I would place an order after he just told me he can't deliver to me. His response was "Uh, umm, we have only one driver." I just hung up. Terrible customer service. If you're going to cancel someone's order, you should let them know. Also, if you're going to restrict your delivery radius, you should post it on your website.

  • Keri O.

Good food for the price. The fried rice was actually very good as was the sesame chicken. The egg rolls are really tasty - but huge! Don't be a pig like me and order an extra one as one comes with the dinner special. Lots of sauces included in the bag. Delivered in 20 minutes; ordered via my phone.

Well, my husband and I have lived on the West Plano/Carrollton line for about 8 years now and have searched high and low for good Chinese delivery. A couple of places have come and gone, but none like China One! This place (without sounding overly dramatic) was basically an answer to our prayers for a friendly and very yummy Chinese delivery restaurant. We've enjoyed the Orange Chicken, the egg rolls are so yum and crispy, and crazily enough the shrimp tasted very fresh in the Hunan Shrimp. We always get a side order of the lo mein, I'm not sure why it's so good, but it's a must for us. Oh, and another plus? Online ordering! We have ordered from there about 5 times or so, and it will continue to be our go to Chinese food place.

    (5)
  • Tatiana N.

Delivery is prompt and courteous. The food is delicious - they use the right amount of meat and vegetables (some Chinese restaurants overload you with meat). The website is very user friendly. The menu will satisfy any Chinese food lover. Note to those who love their food hot: their spicy is not very spicy. Definitely try their Szechuan Wonton - mmmm! So good!

    (5)
  • Johnny L.

For Chinese delivery this place is top notch, really glad we came across it. Knocks anything in the area out of the water. Don't waste your cash on the usual places, check this place out if Chinese food is what your belly is growling for.

    (4)
  • Kim R.

My husband and I have ordered take out from here twice and both times it was great! We just moved to Carrollton and are so glad to have found this place. The General Tso's chicken and Sechuan Beef were both great and we love the crab Rangoon and chicken skewers. We will definitely have this again!

    (4)
  • Dave M.

First-timers but impressed enough to write a review, we phone-ordered takeout and even on a Friday it was ready in less than fifteen minutes. Particularly good pork fried rice - very light - not your typical overly-soy-sauced variety, it also had that wonderful bbq aroma from using really good char siu cut into little cubes instead of just pieces of stir-fried pork. We will be ordering again for sure.

  • Michelle B.

My gosh. So yummy. The price is amazing and the portions are just huge. I could eat here every day. I was looking for a place to have some really good Chinese and I opened yelp and it popped up. Thanks to you guys I'm now obsessed. I'm going to order right now.

  • Mark B.

The food is better than most Chinese in N TX. but that doesn't make it "good" Chinese. It's pretty decent, relatively inexpensive, and the workers seem nice. Definitely a step up from Panda Express. As long as you're not expecting "gourmet", it's definitely worth a shot.

    (3)
  • Missy A.

Simply great Chinese food! The General's chicken is really good and the roasted pork fried rice is excellent. You can really tell a Chinese restaurant by their rice. It's awesome! My favorite thing is the crab rangoon. They are filled with deliciousness and just the perfect amount of crispy. Finally, their customer service is awesome...even their drivers!

    (4)
  • Ashley P.

I ordered from them before ans I thought the online ordering was nice. But then when I tried to order again the website doesnt work and then they say they dont deliver in my area.....thanks for nothing

    (1)
  • Max H.

I've been a loyal customer for a long time now and the delivery time is extremely long. We've had to wait over an hour and a half a times. We've given up on them. Food is mediocre. Go to Panda Express.

  • Keith M.

Good quick fix when in the mood for Chinese. The lunch specials are a fantastic deal!

  • Stephanie E.

The service was great, ordering online was a breeze but the Kung Pao chicken had no flavor nor did the chicken fried rice.

    (2)
  • Robert M.

Great food! We dined in and it came out hot and fresh. By far the best Chinese food in the area. When I think of 5 star restaurants I think steak and lobster, so giving China One 4 stars is the highest review that I can give a Chinese food restaurant. Will definitely come back!

  • Rachel O.

We have been ordering from China Wok and it was just not that good anymore so we decided to try this place out. Was able to order, and pay online. Food arrived fast and hot, portions were big and they gave us extra sauce! The beef low mein was yummy and so were the crab rangoons. Our new favorite Chinese delivery in Carrollton.

    (4)
  • Latrice T.

this is my favorite Chinese food place within delivery distance. its cheap, the delivery is quick and the delivery guy is always nice and courteous. the honey chicken is always my go-to combo. they're rice is good even a week later after being in the fridge I just add some water and its still good. I've tried other things. I would steer clear of their sesame and orange chicken because the pieces are always over fried and chewy instead of tender. if you want something simpler, get the chicken with broccoli. its plentiful and has a great flavor.

    (4)
  • Rachel T.

Really enjoyed my Szechuan shrimp, plenty big - I ate on it for three days. Love that it's got no MSG and is made with vegetable oil. I was a regular at chef chu until they started charging extra for rice, so I'm glad this place has popped up. Definitely will go back again and again.

    (4)
  • Maddy B.

I've been paying to much for subpar Chinese since I've moved to Carrollton...until this place! This place was cheap, they do deliver, or can order online and pick up, and the food is good. Like actually good Chinese, possibly even better leftover the next day. This is for sure my new favorite place. (Sampled egg drop soup, combo fried rice, egg roll, and crab Rangoon)

    (4)
  • Nadiya R.

This is a great place, lunch special is a great price and portions are great. Food is very tasty and not just the same old washed out tasting Chinese you get these days, tastes pretty authentic. Best in Carrollton in my opinion!

    (5)
  • Hec R.

Finally found a good and solid Chinese place in Carrollton. It's inexpensive, clean, relatively fast, flavorful, and the portions are huge. Oh, and they use dark meat on the orange chicken! Yeyuh!

    (5)
  • Norma B.

Food is really good! My only suggestion would be to add more onions--the larger, flavorful slices. Great service--we'll be back!

    (5)
  • Todd R.

Greatness, we'll be back. They don't short you on the dinner portions, good food & good service. Polished and clean inside. Quick too- I live in Castle Hills- called and placed my order, walked out my door & it was ready when I got there.

    (5)
  • Megan S.

I was very impressed today. The online ordering was user friendly. The delivery was crazy fast and I live on the far side of the delivery circle. I was happy the food was hot and tasty when I got it and I would definitely order from here again.

  • Alicia S.

This was our first time to order from China One. They just opened and are reasonably close to our house. We were very easily able to place our order online and not only was it ready exactly when needed, but they were expecting us and greeted my husband by name. The personnel was extremely friendly and inside everything was fresh and bright. They offer a wide array of sauces and allow you to pick which sauces you want etc. from the front. The food was plentiful and delicious. This is the first time in a while that I've had General Tso's that actually had a kick of heat to it. The vegetable lo mein was also very tasty and the noodles themselves were cooked perfectly though a few more veggies would have made it even better. All in all, we will definitely be back! I always get picked on for never choosing Chinese food to eat. It's not that I don't like Chinese food; I just don't like bad Chinese food and the Dallas area seems to be riddled with lots of bad Chinese food establishments. Chinese food will certainly be on the menu more often now though!!

    (5)
  • Yen L.

I really wanted to like this restaurant because there isn't much chinese food around here. But the truth is if you are Asian and can distinguish between good and bad chinese food... This place isn't for you. Everything is basically stir fried with the same sweet and sour sauce bought from asian market. I gave it 2 stars because the workers seem nice

    (2)
  • Ricky K.

I've ordered take out from here a few time and was never disappointed! Food always arrived in a decent amount of time. Food is super yummy and decently priced with good portions.

    (5)
  • Angela N.

Sorry that there isn't a picture... My kids dug in before I could get one! The food was great, I read the reviews first and I was worried. We ordered chicken and broccoli, shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, soup, and egg rolls. No complaints... Everything was eaten. The online ordering was painless and the driver came within 20 minutes. I'm definitely ordering from them again!

  • Sarah P.

Wow! This was my first time here, and I am more than impressed! I got the lunch special with sesame chicken and fried rice. It comes with either egg rolls or crab rangoons, and I chose crab rangoons. Those were the freshest, best tasting crab rangoons I have ever had. I've been to dozens of Chinese restaurants in my life, and none of them have tasted better than the ones from here. You could tell that they freshly made them because it was so hot and crisp that it burned my mouth. The sesame chicken was delicious, and the fried rice complemented it well. The portions are HUGE for the low price. I will be coming here as my go-to Chinese takeout from now on. How have I never known about this place before?

  • Alex E.

Lately I've been trying to visit more independent Chinese takeout places. This place was pretty decent, everything was cooked to order and fresh, and decently fast. Portions are absolutely massive & awesome for the price. I ordered General Tso's chicken with fried rice, a favorite of mine. Chicken was crisp and battered properly, & fried rice was the perfect texture. However...I docked a star for a couple of reasons: First, the General Tso sauce did not taste much like General Tso sauce, it was a bit too sweet. While some places have sauce that is sweeter than others, this was too sweet in my opinion, almost like sweet & sour chicken. Second, the fried rice lacked flavor. There were a few veggies thrown in as is customary, but there was no egg or seasoning to give it a unique flavor. My favorite part of fried rice is how it is mixed and seasoned differently from plain white steamed rice. And finally, when packing up orders I observed one person who would put napikins, sauce packets, & fortune cookies in the bag, so I figured they would include them in my bag. When i got home, there were no fortune cookies, napkins or sauce packets! I may have observed a delivery order being prepared, and wouldn't contribute it to my docked star, but it was still a bummer. Overall, I will likely return if I find myself in the area again, though I will probably order something different. And remember to grab some fortune cookies :).

Surprisingly, really tasty Chinese take out food! Eaten here twice, the first time delivery and the second take out. The people who answer the phone are really nice and can explain what's in what or modify a menu item if need be (my bf doesn't eat particular veggies). Both times the food is plentiful & had great flavor. The first time, we got beef lo mein w/only carrots & green onions, wonton egg drop soup, & shrimp w/vegetables dinner special. The noodles in the lo mein were cooked just right, not mushy at all and an adequate amount of beef, though heavy on the carrots. My soup had tons of wontons & the shrimp were large and REAL. I mean no small frozen shrimp here. The egg rolls that came with the dinner special were also yummy, hot & crispy. Also, I wanted to add, delivery was really fast. Even though we were told 45 mins our food was at our door in like 15-20 mins. Pretty awesome when you're hungry. The second time, dinner for one. I got seafood delight & wonton egg drop soup (so good I had to get it again :D). When I read the menu, it said that there was lobster in the Seafood Delight and I was thinking. . . .sure, like "fake-pollock-fish-lobster", I was ok with that. But, I WAS WRONG! I opened the container when I got home and lo & behold actual real lobster people! Mind you, it was just a small half of a tail, but still, got to give points for actually putting real lobster in there. Overall, I really like this place. Even though the focus is on american-chinese take out food, they do it really well here. The staff is nice and it's also a plus that they are actually Chinese. :D Also, it was really cool to see my receipt/order written in Chinese & English! Give this place a try! It's another one of those "hole in the wall" gems!

Disappointed. General Tso chicken was terrible quality. Mostly batter and the tiny pieces of chicken that was there was chewy dark meat. Jumbo shrimp with veggies was ok. Dumplings were ok except I ordered pan fried and only 1 side was lightly seared so wasn't the crispy result I wanted.

This is our go to take out restaurant. The food is always delivered fast and hot. My kids love the lo mein, and I haven't had anything I don't like.

In over 40 years of ordering Chinese food in Dallas and cities across America, I don't think I've ever had worse. It was just a couple basic entrees. The cashew chicken had an odd flavor and was not good, the sweet & sour combo was dry, hard, tough and chewy, the house fried rice had a strange flavor that somehow reminded be of dishwater. I enjoy many different Asian cuisines, but honestly even Panda Express is better than this. We didn't eat most of it and wound up throwing the rest out - it wouldn't even make good leftovers. Note: this was not delivery - I picked up

Food was done in about 20 mins. Ordered sesame chicken lunch special with an order of crab rangoons. Sister had the chicken with broccoli with a side of egg drop soup. All the food was fantastic. And the lunch special prices made it even better. Inside the store was extrmemely clean also and the lady who gave us our food was very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone. Would definitely come back if I'm back in the area.

I love this place, especially since they deliver! The food is tasty and fresh. Not only do they have lunch specials but also dinner specials which I love. They also have online ordering!! The only complaint I have is the lack of hot sauce provided even after verbally requested and also requested virtually. I usually order 4+ meals so one packet of hot sauce doesn't really help.

If you are a first timer, READ THIS. It will be helpful so you don't feel like an idiot. When you first walk in, menu's are usually located at the top with prices, right? Well, it took me about 3 minutes to find the REAL menu. I was a little confused about what to get, so I just TOLD the lady, I want fried rice & orange chicken. She then asked what kind of fried rice, I said "Beef". Then I asked if they had crab ragoon (my fav) she said "Oh yes, you want dinner special?" I said "What?" She said "Dinner special, half pork rice and come with crab ragoon" I was so confused and looked down to my suprise A MENU! Their MENU is on the counter top, so when you walk in, LOOK DOWN not UP. That helped a lot and I finally got what I wanted. She was about to charge me a full portion of fried rice & orange chicken. I just wanted halfsies! It was only me eating. The food was nice & hot. Freshly cooked to order. The crab ragoon was yummy & the Dinner Special, is A LOT! I usually finish all my food but I have so much left overs! (Taking to work!) Good packaging, its not in cheap styrofoam containers. And the beef Lo Mein (which I subsituted for fried rice) was perfect. Noodles were soo soft & melted in my mouth. This is a good place! I suggest you call ahead of time for a "pick up" or "delivery". I did a "walk in" & it kind of took long (since food had to be prepared & it was after work so they were busy). TIP: Call or order online ahead of time. They get SO PACKED after work and look like confused little ants when customers come in to pick up. So PROVIDE them with a NAME when you order over the phone (they don't ask). So that when you walk in, pick up is easy!!!

This is one of my favorite Chinese take out spots! I'm not big on Chinese food, so I've only tried their rice, lo mein, egg rolls, fried donuts, and sweet & sour chicken. I love that I can get plain lo mein here with nothing but noodles. They have amazing lunch deals- low price, huge portions! The egg rolls are also ginormous and yummy. Never takes more than 10 min after calling in an order for me to get my food. They also deliver if your order is over a certain amount of $$.

My go to place when I'm in the mood for take out Chinese food. I usually order Chicken and Broccoli or Moo Goo Gai Pan. The food has the 'take out quality' that I sometimes, or should I say oftentimes crave. It is food for the Asian Man's Soul.

Well their food is good, but they take along time to deliver... Ordered my food at 7:30 and got it at 8:40... Second time ordering from here and they have taken their time delivering. We don't live far either.

First, I know this isn't authentic Chinese food so I'm not comparing it to the stuff I grew up eating, so chill. I'm reviewing this to similar Chinese take out joints. I ordered online and was pretty impressed with the reviews as well as the menu. I don't usually order the General Tso's or Orange chicken, etc (although my husband does) but usually judge a Chinese take out place by a two main things: The quality of the hot and sour soup and the quality of the rice. Of course, I pay attention to the freshness of the vegetables and the meat yadda yadda, but if you can't pass my hot and sour soup test and the rice test...If you can't perfect the two staples, forgetaboutit. My husband got the roast pork fried rice while I got the chicken with vegetables with steam rice and the soup. The soup was way too thick and was neither spicy nor sour. Bummer. The steam rice was perfect I must say and they give you plenty of it. My husband thought his fried rice was too dry but I personally liked it because it wasn't greasy and overflowing in soy sauce. My chicken tasted extremely fresh and tender but again, the whole sauce was too thick and lacked flavor. I also asked for hot sauce to go when ordering and didn't get any.

Horrible service. Placed order online. They don't know how to work their online system. Took more than 1 hour to be delivered. We called and they kept telling us its on the way. It's a 5 minute drive.

Ordered online from Yelp. I did not like that they did not have a time frame, but it was about 45 minutes. We ordered shrimp and broccoli, sesame chicken, and crab rangoon. I have to say we finally experienced good Chinese food. I particularly enjoyed the crab rangoon because there was actually crab and cream cheese inside the shell for once. They are generous in the portion sizes too. Definitely will order from here again.

I've been looking for a good Chinese place that delivers and I've had a really hard time finding one. China one is GREAT! They're very affordable, you get LOTS in a serving, even the lunch specials come with plenty to eat (and I had leftovers). I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was perfect. It was fresh and not all soggy like most places are. The fried rice is very good too! My fiance had the broccoli and beef, which he ate all of. My father ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and he was impressed with how good it was. I've definitely found my favorite Chinese place!

OK so here's the deal. First time trying this place and it is NOT worth the money. I can't fathom how you can get away with charging 9.25 for spicy shrimp when it is mostly fucking onions. YES you heard me right like a couple of shrimp and exaggerated amount of onions don't believe look at the picture. The crab ragoons were greasy as hell and the broccoli beef..I've had better and for cheaper. If you can drive to a decent location and not go to this poor quality ass excuse for a Chinese restaurant. If I could I would give it a negative the food sucked so bad. But on a good note the rice was actually cooked right surprising!

I am finally ready to review this restaurant after my second visit today. The food at best is normal in my opinion. The sauce on the general tso chicken reminded me of something you could get in the frozen section at the supermarket. I also had the pepper beef which was again normal. Nothing really wowed me. Basically the food is ok and the workers are nice.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
