Never had a Kebab before. These things are pretty legit. I had a King size Beef and Lamb. It was a hearty portion a lesser man would have been full. But i am no such man. I also tried baklava here for the first time and it was really really good. The meat was tender, the spicy was smooth and predictable, and the vegetables and other stuff tasted fresh. It is pretty cramped on the inside so i felt like I was in everyone's way. The back patio was huge and had plenty of seating. 9/10 would come again.

This is for the E. 7th storefront. Tiny inside but very large outdoor area with lots of seating. The service was friendly and fast...I ordered the King lamb and beef kebab and really enjoyed it. I will be back to try those fries! There spicy sauce truly lives up to its name, in my opinion. It has some serious bite and zing. The King portion is a large sucker, but I hope my meat is moister next time. I did find it a bit dry with little hardened bits of gristly bites.

First timer to this establishment. Clean & well presented little nook of a place. You can see into their organized and clean kitchen while watching those delicious roasted meats spinning behind the employee taking your order. The chicken was super tasty looking forward to trying the lamb& beef next time.

This place is GOOOOOOD. My hubs and I shared the Spoiled Brat when we were in Austin this past weekend. Holy smokes! We loved it! We ordered the regular and it was massive! Loved the mix of all the kebabs -- lamb/beef, chicken and falafel. Love the sauce, the hummus and the fresh veggies. And I like their mint and cucumber infused water they had, too. So fancy! LOL. We will definitely be back for more when we're in town again.

I have had kebaps all over Austin and this place takes the cake...or falafel. It seems so simple to put hummus and falafel in a pita wrap, yet they're what seems to be the first to do it in Austin. Oh! And the fries. Those greasy feta cheese covered suckers are the perfect dish to start a night of drinking with. Love it!

This place is awesome! We ordered a falafel kabob and a lamb kabob. They were so yummy. And the girl at the front Kacy was very pleasant and helpful with the menu. I love the cucumber water! I will be coming back here.

Kebabalicious defines my undergrad experience. After a night on 6th, there was nothing more that I wanted then a good saucy kebab. I'm not sure if they're at the same location, but if not, FIND THEM wherever they are and INDULGE. It isn't the quickest of service but every second is worth the wait. Their newer side items like the kebab fries are equally amazing.

Food here is decent. I've been here a couple times but the most recent time was disappointing . They were a little busy and the beef/lamb kebab had barely any meat in it and the meat itself was overly salty and dry. I knew right when they handed it to me that it was a little light compared to my other visits. I probably won't return here for a while and if I'm in the mood for a kebab, I'll head over to the Verts on 51st where the kebabs always taste juicy and fresh

The size of this shop is a good with plenty of outside seating and parking which is nice due to its hotspot location. I ordered their beef and lamb kebab spicy, and I was very satisfying! My only complaint is that the meat was a little too dry for my liking.

1st time here-- Had the beef and lamb kabob extra spicy and it was great. The regular size was a good portion too. I'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu

I never have kebab sandwich before. So this is my first place and they didn't disappointed me..

Foods good, but the fact that they try and force you to tip the cashier is ridiculous! You didn't do anything but punch an ipad!! Why tip you? There's too many good restaurants around for that type of b.s.

Was anxious for their place to open on east side. Ordered to go last night and was a little disappointed. The truck set a high bar. Falafel sides were a little underdone. My girl ordered her wrap spicy and it wasn't. Biggest issue was that the hot meats were overwhelmed by the cold veggies and toppings so everything was lukewarm to cold. Hopefully just working out the kinks. Ill definitely back to try again.

After hearing about Kebabalicious for years, I finally gave it a try! I had the chicken wrap - huge portions and pretty delicious! The chicken felt a little dry but we were there toward the end of the night, so maybe it wasn't as fresh as it would have been earlier in the day. Also split an order of fries which was more than enough for 2 people. The fries were incredibly delicious but very spicy (for me, a lightweight) so something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to spice! Parking in the area can be tricky. We ended up snagging a spot a few blocks away and walking over, no big deal.

OMG. I ordered the saffron rice bowl with beef/lamb and a falafel ball, medium spicy, and it was too die for. Seriously best falafel and Turkish food I've ever had. I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything on that menu. Not a lot of indoor seating but plenty outdoors. Friendly service and not too long of a wait even with a huge group ahead of me. Highly recommend!

Maybe I'm just not all that hard to impress after a night of drinking, but Kebabalicious made the missus and I glad that we stopped in. So, on to the deets. The spicy loaded fries are metaphysically awesome: hot, crispy, and covered in beautiful and delicious red things plus feta. The veggie kebabs were good, but Kismet on campus has better and cheaper (the falafel could have been a bit crunchier). There's a standard size and an upgrade to plus-size gluttony for like an extra four bucks if you have a big appetite or BAC at .20 or better. Stealing that play from the stoner burrito joints earns like 5,000 marketing points, btw. The space looks great, with a small inside and a big, very nice patio. They serve beer, so probably plus one star for not forcing me to sober up any while I ate. I hate that. The food came super quick despite a busy Saturday night crowd. So, on the whole, I'm always glad to have tasty late-night veggie options to keep me from falling off the wagon when I've had a few. This fit the bill nicely. Thanks, Kebablicious, and I suspect we'll meet again.

I feel bad writing this review, as I've had some a-okay meals at Kebabalicious. My last meal was unfortunately... bad. I got the chicken kebab with extra tzatziki, and it was soggy, flavorless, and generally disappointing. I've eaten a lot of kebab, and I know it's not supposed to taste like this. The other girls in my office were equally disappointed. I understand restaurants have their off days, so I generally don't write negative reviews after a single bad experience. This was my second blah order, though, so I thought it was time to provide some feedback.

A year after our first experience at their food truck.... we finally made it back! Each of us got a king sized beef and lamb kebab and devoured it in the store, medium spicy. What makes it is the sauce. mm mm mm. Since we were on our way back home to Dallas, I suggested the bf buy one to go, so he could enjoy the deliciousness again tomorrow. So he bought the Spoiled Brat with a side of the Ka-baam sauce. The next night, I was only spared one bite of the kebab, but it was a glorious bite. Next time we're in Austin, spoiled brat, here I come!

We were walking around Austin and compared to 6th street, this place is so low key and quiet. Perfect for a night time stroll. A little bit creepy because it's down the street from a cemetery? I believe we split a Spoiled Brat and we liked it! It was flavorful and with the Yelp check-in, we got a free drink. Score! I believe they have a backyard patio as well if you're interested.

As someone who spent a great deal of time in the Middle East eating yummy, authentic Schwarma and falafel from any and every street corner, I was hopeful to find a spot that could at LEAST give me something comparable and it has satisfied my cravings for a little taste of Tel Aviv. The Spoiled Brat is typically my go to, and it's very fitting, as I feel totally spoiled by getting some of everything dumped inside of a delicious pita. The brick and mortar is rather small on the inside, but the back porch is awesome for kicking back with pals and watching sports with friends.

I often like to attribute my long-time Yelping habit to the London food scene, and specifically, the street kebab. Arguably the street food of choice for the modern world, I absolutely love kebabs, from the turkish style messy late night snacks on the streets of London to the often even healthy and quality grilled options down in Australia - kebabs are marvelous culinary gems, and I'm thrilled to have found a good option here in Texas. Food trucks grow up into store fronts because they're good, and kebabalicious is good. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Kebabalicious has grown up a lot from their humble food truck roots, and with a fully equipped patio and even some indoor seating, Kebabalicious on E 7th is a great spot even if the weather isn't cooperating. Service is a tad bit slow compared to some of the immediately gratifying, shave the meat off of the spit options elsewhere, but it's certainly nothing worth docking a star over. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? One of the best thing about kebabs is that they provide marvelous value worth navigating through even the most crippling of drunken nights or hungover mornings. While the supply of turkish/greek style kebabs here in the US is significantly lower than our European counterparts, Kebabalicious doesn't give in by charging the premium that they could. My $6.99 mixed kebab was absolutely massive as you'll see in the picture below, and it's refreshing to see that there are niche markets in Austin where the prices haven't crept up with everything else in the city: yelp.com/user_local_phot… Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Now, the important bit - the food. Was this a good kebab? This was a good kebab, with a nice fluffy wrap and what came across as a very fresh and flavorful mix of peripherals. I ordered mine spicy, and it certainly caught my attention without being drenched in chili sauce. My only gripe here was the mixed lamb and beef meats, which were a bit light in the portion department and a tad bit overcooked. I didn't see a visible spinning spit in the kitchen, but this didn't taste like it has just been shaved off, which would be a disappointment if true. Finally, and it's worth noting with kebabs, I didn't regret this hours later or even the next day, and that's a true test of a good kebab. Single Star Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? There's room for improvement here, but know that kebabalicious is a fantastic option, and I'd gladly come back daily until it's proven to me that there's something better within a few hundred miles. Star Granted.

Kebabalicious is my all time #1 food spot after a night out on 6th street! I've been getting kebabs here for years and I've gone through at least 5 loyalty cards. I was stoked to hear that they were going to open a store front. Usually I just order a king lamb kebab with feta cheese...oh and I have to get it spicy! But when I saw the menu with the Spoiled Brat with all the meats + falafel, I just had to get it! Oh. My. God. If only I could have that every day... I'm seriously in love with kebablicious. When I was in undergrad I was so proud of myself when I became mayor on foursquare. I didn't keep it for long though, it's a pretty popular spot. Spend the extra quarters to get the feisty feta cheese, it's worth it!

I had my doubts. Boy was I wrong. You see, I've never eaten at their trailers before, but when I saw this brick & mortar pop on the side of town I usually hang out at, well it intrigued me. We came here on a Saturday night for a late dinner. I could see how parking would be a struggle, since I didn't see any lot specifically for them, but we found street parking pretty quick. The inside is small and not a lot of seating (2-3 tables?), so one can assume the eating is to be done outside. We ordered the kebabafries, LOTS of feta with seasoning and some spicy red sauce. This heaping of fries is up there with my favorite, fun fries. We shared a regular sized falafel wrap because we weren't too hungry. Seriously, one of the BEST falafel wraps I've ever had. Everything about the ingredients to the pita was perfect. I'm not sure what made it stand out so much, it could be that crazy red sauce. I've never had "turkish style" wraps before, but whatever these white boys did to make it turkish, keep doing it because I want it again. Like, now. They had several cucumber and lemon infused water taps and it went so well with dinner. It was like a battlefield with all the gnats landing in my water, hovering around the food, and douchey bugs punching me in the face. If you get your food to go, I wouldn't blame you. But they do have an impressive local canned beer selection and they were selling pint glasses as well. It wasn't very busy, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be back, I need to try those zucchini fries. 5 stars for 2 Texan dudes who followed their vision creating delicious food and went to the same university as me :-)

Love this place! My standard go to is the regular beef/lamb kebab. But once, when I was really really hungry I decided to go with the spoiled brat which has beef/lamb, chicken, and falafel all in one wrap! It changed my life...and it was so good I ate the whole damn thing! The spicy red sauce goes really well in the wrap along with the tzatziki.

Slow service, ineptitude for humor and questionable flavor - this is what happens when you allow Americans to do the work of Turks.

You're joking right? A schwarma shop in Austin, Texas, run by a bunch of young gringos turned in a four star sandwich wrap? Are you kidding me? Not joking. So good. The beef and lamb wrap was just dynamite. Fellow eaters like the bowl and the felafel. Get the spicy sauce. One of the best joints on the East side. Free cucumber water while you wait.

I remember when Kebabalicious first showed up on the late night food scene. I'd find those spicy ass fries in my house after a night of drinking and think with regret how many calories I was going to have to burn off. Fast forward to their adorable brick and mortar. It's small inside but they've got a rockin' back patio, a happy hour and some additions to the menu that weren't there before. Our kebabs were great. Even though I ordered the smaller size it was still gigantic. The salad was pretty boring overall -- one of those deli case deals that isn't inspired. I think they could spruce it up with something sexier or a better dressing. IMHO the The zucchini fry appetizer could be more interesting as well. The dude behind the counter was quite nice (though new I think) and it was reasonably priced for what we bought. I'd totally stop in here again for a grab n go though I'm not sure I'd rely on getting a seat inside if the weather is nasty.

I've always been a huge fan of this place back when it was a food truck and I guess their business was doing so good , they were able to open a store front! Tried out this place a couple weekends ago and it was even better than the food truck! I had the lamb & beef gyro with avocado sauce and the boss fries. The gyro was tender and flavorful and there was an ample amount of sauces in there so that the meal won't feel too dry from eating the pita bread with a ton of meat. The avocado sauce was a good addition although you probably get more asking for it on the side than having it put in your gyro. The boss fries were basically the k-fries but with slices of beef on it. It was delicious and huge! This was definitely enough for one person to eat as a meal or for several people to share as a side. It had good flavors from the sauces and the meat on it was yummy as well. I'll definitely be back here when I'm in town!

Kebabalicious is tres cool and super yum. I had the skirt steak kebab with the kebabafries. Warning...kebabafires are huge and can be shared for 3-4 people. There is a sauce with some feta cheese and they are cooked perfectly with a heat I can't say not to. Skirt steak gyro is quite large for the small. Stuffed with lettuce, tomato, feta...its all good flavors in a delicious wrap.

Yum! Kebabalicious was exactly what I was looking for. My dad was visiting and he gets a wicked case of the hangrys. I gave him a choice of eastside grub and he chose kebabalicious. The food was great, cheap, and an excellent cure for the hangrys. The only downside is that there's very limited seating indoors, so get your food to go or in nice weather.

The first time we tried to go to their storefront, they were out of chicken. How does that happen? We finally got a chance to go back recently and we left underwhelmed. My boyfriend got the chicken kebab -- which is a shredded chicken wrap with lots of sumac. I had one of their special wraps (I forgot the name, but it had beef and brussels sprouts). It was ok but lacked in overall seasoning. Is it me, or is the storefront not as tasty as their food trucks? Weird.

HOLY CRAP THEIR FALAFEL WRAP IS TO DIE FOR. get it king size. Be a fatty. Get the fries. They r bomb. I'm vegan and honestly this is my favorite falafel wrap I've ever had. That damn bread is so good it's like crispy but still soft. And honestly there is some very shitty falafel out there. Not theirs! the falafel itself is insanely well done. And the crisp cool veggies mixed with the yummy warm bread and falafel ... Mmmmm :) I sometimes cry into my wrap. I'm serious. Also, I fed some to my lyft driver one time and he was not vegan and was like "woah I like falafel!?". I'm like ya .. "Ya you do!!!" This is a dope spot too. Party on the east side then go here there's A BIG A*S PATIO!! And you can get beer! Have loved the stands now I'm gunna go to this storefront

I visited this establishment for the first time on a Friday night. I didn't feel like cooking. Kebabalicious is in walking distance of where I was at so I figured I'd give it a try. The cashier was friendly and helpful when I asked a question which was nice. I ordered the Turk salad and added on beef/lamb along with one falafel. Since I'm a poor college student with an ever shrinking wallet, I decided why not splurge and get the zucchini fries (completely logical). The food took a little bit longer than I may had expected, but there were only two gentleman working there that evening, so I'm not going to fuss much over that. The food came out, I took it back to the place I was staying at while I was cat sitting (nice person right?), and proceeded to eat my $14 dinner. Unfortunately, they left out the Tzatziki and red sauce which is supposed to come with the meal. The zucchini fries were a bit lackluster if I must be honest. They were a bit below my expectation and for a $3.99 add on, I won't be getting them again. I can't complain about the food itself for the most part; the meat, salad, and falafel were good. However, for $14 it's a bit pricey for what you get. Will I return? Sure, if I'm in the area and feel like this type of food again, but I'm not going to make a weekly pilgrimage to the place.

I've heard so many good things about this place I had to check it out since I was in the area. I tried their traditional beef/lamb kebab and made it spicy. I thought it was going to be a spicy sauce but they just added red chili flakes which I actually think altered the flavor and not in the best way. You get two choices of size. I picked the smaller and it was more than enough for me. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.

Sad when a food trailer doesn't translate to brick and mortar. Very underwhelming. I was embarrassed that I brought my friends there. The dishes need to have some more substance in them. Too skimply. Nothing special. Stick with Phoenicia.

  • Diana M.

I got the skirt steak kebab with the kebabafries. i got the medium and it definitely has a kick. So if you are not a fan of spice go for the least spicy version. The kebabafries were my fave! the feta cheese was so good and fresh and it complimented the spice on the fries perfectly! You get a free drink with check in- I liked the one all the way to the left- It tastes like Dr. Pepper. The girl behind the counter was also great to order from!

Although I am writing this review for the restaurant, I'd give 5 stars even for the trucks that they have. This is among my favourite places to eat at in Austin. In fact, whenever I have friends visiting from out of town, this is one place I definitely take them to. The taste appeals to my Indian tastebuds (most mediterranean food places do), but this places take it several notches higher. Try to the spoiled brat if you eat all kinds of meat. It is extremely tasty and filling (the regular size is big enough for me) and if in a group, do not forget to order the Kebab Fries - your friends will bless you for ordering them.

Kebabalicious represents all that Austin food trucks are seeking in the "Austinite Dream"--starting as a mobile eatery, slinging out grub to inebriated patrons on the historic 6th street. In essence, they did the dirty work and heavy lifting to make a name for themselves. Now, as these college students graduate, they might move to the east side in order to feel important. Yet, they still crave the flavors and simplicity of food from the good ol' days. Not only is East 7th appealing to students staying in town... it also draws in transplants who are seeking gentrification. In most cases, it seems that "east" is associated with "ghetto." In steps Kebabalicious, aptly located on East 7th. With its straight-forward menu, adequate seating, and large portions (who can, in good conscience, want to finish 6 falafel or 1/2 lb. of gyro meat?). The real winners here are the sauces, which smother your choice of meat or fried chick peas--however you want it, whether in a salad or wrapped up. This brick-and-mortar, formerly food truck.... which obviously still have solid ground on 6th street, has staked its claim on East 7th, and it seems to me that they are providing quality kebab to a burgeoning trend-seeking population.

After a day of drinking and lounging around in the sun we were struck with an overwhelming craving for gyros. We up and trekked over to Hero's Gyros and quickly discovered that all the food trucks in Austin were closed over a holiday weekend (wtf?). Then someone remembered that place on 7th and figured it was close enough. Got a spicy beef/lamb kebab and kebabafries. I don't know what it is about a long voyage for food while an afternoon hangover sets in that makes food taste better, but it was SO. GOOD. Hit the spot. Enough heat to be justifiably called spicy not so much that you wept and drank a gallon of water. Tasty, warm, great flavors, all came together for that perfect cure-all dank lunch. Service was normal. Cashier was totally mystified when I asked if it was possible to split a check. Food did take a while to come out, but it was a nice breezy day on the lovely back deck so we didn't care. One complaint from the group. Seems extremely overpriced, even if it did taste great. Like on what planet should a kebab be over $10 after tax and tip?

Fill yourself with their vegetarian falafel wrap...it is surprisingly better than their chicken wrap. The regular portion is good enough but if your are very hungry go for the King version. They take several orders at a time before they start preparing and hence except a wait time of 20 mins before you can relish this awesome wrap. It is the most delicious wrap I have ever had, can't wait to go there again!! P.S. There are several locations on yelp for this truck but we found it on 7th street only. Also, do not presume the truck is closed, they shut off their windows while preparing bunch of orders!

So I tried out this restaurant after a recommendation from Scott T. I am giving it a mid-star rating though because I'm just not sure it lived up to the hype he projected. I had the halal kebab with skirt steak. A quote from Matthew McConaughey lined the wall & said the skirt steak was a must. I agree the skirt steak was delicious! Fairly decent portion of meat in the regular sized wrap & juicy with intense steak flavor. What I didn't care so much for was all the lettuce that accompanied the wrap. If it wasn't for asking for extra of their spicy red sauce, I would have found my meal to be pretty dry. I enjoyed the tzatziki sauce, but am a girl who loves spicy food & didn't feel their spicy level met my expectations. My boyfriend did order his beef/lamb kebab as "kick me in the butt spicy" (or something like that) and it definitely helped the kebab step up it's game. I will try kebabaliciois again, but I will ask for extra sauce & spicy enough to make me cry :)

Great place to get a wrap beef lamb chicken falafel or hummus the French fries are pretty amazing I have to say I'm kind of addicted. Great outdoor seating especially when it's not so hot outside lots of shade some tables picnic tables and one nice little corner booth. Small stage for occasional live music. Local craft beer and tasty fountain beverages available. Even have nice restrooms. Over all one of my favorite places in Austin.

I have never been to the food truck but the brick and morter location was pretty good. It had great flavor I can not remember what number I had but it was tasty. I took it home and it was pretty good. For sure a spot to try.

Very good! Got the falafel and zucchini fries. Zucchini fries were a little greasy but still good. Great sauces/spices used for the falafel. Very intimate. You can see right into the kitchen and talk the the chefs ass they make your dinner right in front of you. Nice outdoor seating.

This review is probably moot considering so much has already been said about Kebabalicious. I'll make it brief. We went on a Saturday morning and there was plenty of street parking and only a few customers sitting around. I'm glad the weather was nice enough for the outside seating seeing as there were only two tables inside. My falafel Kebab was delicious! I was worried that the mix of hummus, tzaziki, and red sauce would be too much liquidity but it was perfect (although when I asked for it spicy, I hoped it would be spicier). I'm extremely picky with falafel and sometimes it just tastes downright gross to me. This is definitely not the case here. Crispy and soft and flavorful and green. We also got an order of kebab fries- seasoned french fries with lots of red sauce and feta on top. That red sauce is SO GOOD. I actually put some of the fries on my kebab after a while to kick up the spice. I only have two real qualms with Kebabalicious; they didn't give me any kind of plate or anything so I pretty much just had to hold my kebab the whole time. I wanted to eat some fries and get a drink but couldn't put my food down to do so :( Additionally, they should really put a squeeze bottle of that red sauce on the table or something. As much as I enjoyed my meal, that really would have taken it to another level for me.

omg. we got the saffron rice, the fries with all the sauce and cheese and deliciousness on top, and falafel kebabs. everything. was. so. freaking. delicious. those fries are the stuff of Mediterranean dreams. i will be back many many times in the future. go to here now. (this review is strictly for food. i waited in the car, takeout was fetched, food was enjoyed at home in front of the TV) even my dog loved those fries. oh wait, that means nothing, because my dog loves everything. even disgusting things like beetles and, on a rare occasion, old dried up poop.

We have been big evangelists for this place. Besides the amazing falafel, my other favorite is the refreshing cucumber water. If they don't want to do it anymore, just say so. But putting it behind the counter with a sign declaring that it is because they have to due to water restrictions is just nonsense. it's just salt in the wound. Come on guys bring back the cucumber water!

Love it! Try the Kebab wraps, falafel shots and fries (topped with mouth watering feta and red sauce). Always get the red sauce if you like a bit of fire...

I took a trip out to Texas for the first time from California to explore the foodie town that Austin is. Kebabalicious is by far the place that stands out the most from my 5-day food adventure. The pita bread is actually thin and perfectly crisp while perfectly, and I mean perfectly blending with the rest of the ingredients. The beef+lamb kebab (first item on the menu) is what I ordered and was a perfect mix of tender meat, veggies and the aforementioned thin and crisp pita. This place deserves more business and I happy to give them my complete recommendation. side note - it was the end of December and pretty cold with the wind in Austin but they were also kind enough to have burners with their outside seating. another side note - you can add hummus inside your wraps for an extra charge of course.

This is for the brick and mortar spot on East 7th. I've come here a couple times since they opened and in general they are good at what they do -- fresh, hot kebabs at a decent price. I do not think this is primarily a sit-down establishment -- the inside seating area is tiny and not conducive to large groups. I think there is an outside patio but it's not clear from the inside how to get there, but I'm not a fan of outside eating in Austin 75% of the year. But I can run in, order, grab my kebab, and head out to a watering hole without too much hassle. My primary complaint is parking, which is nearly non-existent. This is the greatest obstacle for me becoming a regular diner here. That said, I'm sure that is beyond their control, and if you can find parking along 6th, you're gold. But it's that parking issue that drops it down a star, and it really is the only knock I can give this place. Again, the food is good, it is inexpensive for what you get, and is a good staging ground for the nearby bars once you lay a foundation in your stomach for all the drinking you're about to do.

Lookin' for some grub on the east side? Look no further. Swing by Kebabalicious and get yourself a falafel kebab - don't forget to add feisty feta and KABAAM sauce - and you'll be in heaven. If you're feelin' like some meat, grab a saffron rice bowl and add some of their amazing Kuzu lamb to that beast. Slurp down some Maine root soda, which they have on tap, to really top it off. Great atmosphere, awesome patio, and most importantly, amazing food. You'll be hooked, in no time at all.

The food is good but somehow not up to the standards set by the food truck. Really enjoy the outside seating, the lemon cucumber water, and helping out a local business, but I'll stick to the 'original' locations. Somehow they're spicier and more flavorful.

I've eaten at Kebabalicious many times over the years. Happy to see their popularity grow, and that they've now moved into a brick and mortar. Best Kebab's ever! Highly recommend the Chicken (my favorite) with spicy sauce. The Brat was just too much salty meat for my tastes, but may appeal to some.

Outstanding. The filling (meat or vegetarian), the sauces and spices are all superbly done. The fries are innovative. The one complaint I have is that they dont offer a good variety of breads to wrap the delicious fillings.

I LOVE this place. I'd tried their food truck before but now it's been in a brick and mortar location on E 7th St. Score one for the eastsiders! The lamb/beef kebab wrap, add feta, is my all-time fave.

Every time I go, it's delicious. Good food, large portions, and good prices. Must go if you are on the east side looking for a quick and tasty lunch.

I am in love with this place! Been here twice in the last month. The place is EXTREMELY small, only having two tables in the inside and you have to walk around the side of the building to get to the back side where there are more tables outside. The place is always busy and the employees are always working hard. But the fact that this place has gotten so popular, be prepared to wait for a while to get your order in, and be patient as it could take a little to get your food. That being said don't let the wait detour you, because the food is delicious! The wrap is nice and warm, the veggies inside are crisp and fresh, the sauces they put on the wraps match perfectly with the fillings you can get (Beef & Lamb combo, Lamb, or Veggie Falafel). They also are awesome with the customization of the wraps, you can add tons of extras like feta cheese, extra sauces, or adjust the spice level of the wrap. Overall, this place is an awesome addition to the unique food Austin has to offer, and I can't wait to go back! If you are looking for a taste of something different, don't hesitate to check out Kebabalicious!

When I first moved to ATX 5 years ago, I was a fan of the ole' Kebabalicious trailer and it's awesome punch-card program, but found that my orders weren't necessarily to spec (I can't eat red onions), which put a dinger in things for me for a bit. THEN, I stopped going an lo and behold when I returned the past three times it has been nothing less than magic wrapped in some foil and served in a paper bag. They recently began carrying local, free range chicken in their kebabs and I dove right into a chicken and falafel kebab. Everything is a symphony of spice and flavor -the cucumbers, tomatoes, spicy hummus, tasty falafel and fresh pita bascially exploded (in a good way) in my mouth. Get a mexican coke to go sidecar with it. And get a regular unless you haven't eaten in a few days - the king requires serious effort to consume in one sitting.

Can always get it in a bowl without the pita if you want to go low carb. Nice quick really good low carb option on the East side!

I'm a big fan of Kebabalicious! I often work out of Vintage Heart Coffee across the street and they are a really natural combo. Even though they're usually pretty busy around lunch time, they generally churn through orders pretty quickly. The beef + lamb kebab is amazing, but my favorite things are the zucchini fries and falafel. Also, I recently tried Kabaam sauce! so good! Last week I went in and they were (surprisingly) a little off their game. They were really slammed and made a mistake on the order in front of mine. It was a small mistake, and they gave the guy 3 vouchers for a free kebab to make it up to him. I was very impressed with the customer service. They also try and support and show camaraderie for the other businesses in the neighborhood by offering a discount for anyone who works within a 1-1.5 mile radius. Great place, great food, good service.

I have a confession: I'm just not that into food trucks. With few exceptions, I've never had any food from a truck that has been so magical I would do something silly like go on a food truck tour or even go out of my way to eat at one. Most times I'll eat at home before going to a bar that has a food truck all my friends are planning to dine at. Particularly if it rhymes with Feast Tide Wings. Wah-wah. This is only to say that I never ate at Keabalicious when it was a stand, as far as I remember. Again, I frequently seems the only people who rave about food trucks are those eating at them after 6 cocktails or 11 beers. Before I went last night I called to ask a very important question: Do you have a liquor license? NO is the answer. Which is great. This means that until after the holidays, they are BYOB. You heard it here, so plan accordingly. My dining companion and I packed up some beers and headed over. I had the falafel kebab (medium spicy) with feisty feta. YEEHAW! That was some good eats. Kebabalicious indeed. Crunchy cool veggies with warm falafel and creamy feta and a little bit of spice? So many tastes, so well paired. I loved this "sandwich like" item. It's possibly running a close second to Little Deli's vegetarian. The staff was friendly, you can see the very clean kitchen, the food comes out quickly (note: may I recommend the food be served with a paper plate and a fork as this is messy eating? Also, sometimes you want to set your food down for a pause), there is a great back deck to sit on, and surprisingly, they have brand new renovated, super clean bathrooms. Food trucks don't have those, y'all. I suspect this will be my go-to choice when hitting the east 6th bars and for a quick, casual bite. Very happy with this addition to the neighborhood.

We just keep coming back. Always fresh, flavorful and yummy! I LOVE the falafel shots. Do it. Then buy the falafel wrap. Eat it. I am not vegetarian, but these make me happy. Enjoy!

Very solid place to get a kebab. Extremely filling, well spiced on quality pita bread. The king size is huge and may give you the case of the itis. I would only recommend this if you are absolutely starving. The upgrade I believe called the kaboom is definitely worth it. Adds some nice spice while balancing the whole kebab with a creamy avocado sauce. The establishment is BYOB which is nice. This place would excel as a workweek lunch spot if you work downtown.

Haven't been there since the last review. Went 2 days ago at 11:30, got told they wouldn't be ready until 12:00. Came back at 12:00, picked up AND.. the orders were missing key ingredients AGAIN. It's just ridiculous.

I visited the new brick and mortar location for Kebabalicious after stumbling upon its grand opening party night. Free kebabs, free beer, and live music? I can't believe my luck! It looks like the old food truck on 6th St. is all growed up, but they didn't move too far away from their roots - it's still easily accessible by the drunkies at the nearby east 6th St. bars. The new building is actually a pretty sweet setup with a wooden porch on the back of the restaurant underneath a shady tree. While waiting in line, I was reading about the restaurant - apparently they use only farm-to-table organic produce and all their sauces are made in-house. Count me as impressed that I can get organic food for $7. I ended up getting the beer/lamb kebab and my companion went with the all veggie falafel kebab. Man, I love free shit. Mine was fairly good with the spices and heat balanced by the lettuce, tomato and tzatziki sauce. The wrap was also pretty high quality. The kebab was fine, but it wasn't anything special or anything that I haven't tasted a million times before at the gyro stand at the local fair. It's not inventive or terribly interesting - it's just solid version of a kebab. My companion's falafel was pretty terrible. I had a bite or two, and it was mealy and unpleasant. The garbanzo beans, spices and whatever else went into the falafel balls were not very tasty - she finished as much as she could out of sheer duty, but it was not enjoyed. Altogether while I appreciate the free food and beer, the meal was decent, but in my opinion it was not anything I would return for as a paying customer. There are too many other appealing options at the food trailers on the east side. I will however give Kebabalicious an extra star for the awesomeness of their party and free food. Thanks guys!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place.. yummiest Kebabs in Austin!! Their Chicken Gyro combo is my fav but always got to add the spicy sauce!! Not all Kebab places in Austin are as clean and their trailer on Congress is so walkable and easy :-) Plus, they have frequent visitor stamp cards so remember to ask for that!

Great and delicious food! The meat was very tasty and not too greasy - their zuccini fries were delicious! Crisp on the outside and smooth on the inside with the perfect amount of seasoning! We will definitely be back!! :-)

Hmmmmm....where shall I start??!! Oh I know, I'll start by telling you how happy I am Kebabalicious now has an actual storefront where you can sit down and partake of their deliciousness and not have to worry about finding a parking spot. Though the restaurant itself is a bit small inside, the food makes you forget all about it. A very casual type of atmosphere with a few Texas things thrown around here and there but this is DEFINITELY a clean place. I can't tell you about the restrooms because....well, I haven't really had to go but I'm sure they're just as nice and clean too! The menu is pretty simple HOWEVER the food anything but simple. You can get a chicken kebab, beef/lam kebab or my all-time favorite, the falefal kebab which is an all vegetarian fried ball made from garbanzo beans. Inside this yummy thing are tomatoes, red onions, humus and some sort of messy, yet scrumptious red sauce. Along with all this goodness you also get great customer service all for a reasonable price. ALSO, the food is made with organic produce and ingredients. With regards to the wait time, I think that would all depend on what time of day you went but the wait is Ohhhhhhhh so worth it! Oh yeah, these are Turkish style kebabs, so please don't get it twisted and think they're American style shish kebabs with the lil skewers and stuff. ROFL I can't believe I wrote "twisted" and I also can't believe I'm actually going to leave that as a part of my comment. OK...I'm done babbling! Go there and get you some good food. And for you ladies out there, if Chris is there, you also get a double treat because you'll get to eyeball some serious eye candy! *cougar purrrrrrrr* Be sure and tell 'em "Black Kat" sent ya!

Really enjoyed this place and will be coming back. Got the gyro salad - good portion and really tasty! Service was quick and friendly. They have some limited seating inside and then a larger outside patio outside. If you like gyros, you'll like this place.

I work a few doors down. I have been eating at this location once a week since it opened. Every single time I have gone to pick up food before work, I have attempted to call first and place a pick up order. There has been not been one single occasion that I have successfully done so. At first, the number just didn't work. Then it would be busy or I would get a fax machine. Other times, the phone has just rung and rung. Today though, today was the final straw. I was running late getting out of the house and needed to pick something up on my way in to work. My girlfriend suggested Kebabalicious and I mentioned that while that would be delicious, it's always been impossible to place a phone order. She encouraged me to try anyway. I called, laughingly commenting that today would be the day they answer (because she was there and I told her it never works). Three rings in, a girl answers and immediately asks if she can put me on hold. I said yes. And then I waited for exactly 5 minutes and 2 seconds until I hung up. She never came back to the phone. Their kebabs are fine. I don't really have anything else to say. I won't be returning. There are a lot of good places to spend $11 within a two block radius that I can depend on.

Went here on a Saturday night because I saw they had a couple food trucks downtown but I didn't want to pay for parking. I've never eaten here but was craving some Mediterranean food. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a storefront right down the road. I got the Spoiled Brat and my boyfriend had the halal wrap with the gyro meat. The food was truly delicious. I don't say this lightly, it was one of the best meals I've had, and definitely one of the best Mediterranean meals. I'm down in San Antonio but I'm trying to find excuses to come back. The server mentioned that this location has only been open 5 weeks. It's youth showed only on some of the finishes. There is a small eating area inside and a bigger patio outside to eat. The cupboards inside were missing doors and the menu was a little small and hard to read. However, the food speaks for itself. Really really good. Couldn't recommend it any higher.

This brick and mortar version of the popular down town food truck is absolutely the best Kebab in town (the food truck version is identical so they are both the best ; ). Having spent time in Turkey, Greece, and Azerbaijan, I have may fond memories of street food that is hard to replicate at home. This is the best fix I could hope for stateside. Not greasy, full of veggies and quality grilled meats - with great vegetarian options! Their falafel is crispy on the outside and fluffy and flavorful on the inside. Only word of caution is for many people even their mild can be pretty spicy, if you are sensitive to spice ask for the red sauce on the side.

I've been here twice and both times I got great food! Being from Chicago I LOVE gyros. It's hard to find good Greek food here, so I decided to try an alternative. Turkish was a great option. Meat and sauces are perfect!!!! Even their fries are delicious!!!! As far as the price, it is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. This place will be moving into my Top 10 places to eat in Austin. If you try this place you will be hooked!!!!!

We came to the storefront for the first time today and they did not disappoint!! The indoor seating was our only option as it is cold and wet today but they have a nice outdoor patio with lots of picnic tables, will be great to sit out here when the weather gets nice. We started with a falafel shot which was out of this world good! The falafel was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside and came sitting on top of a bit of tzaziki sauce and their own spicy red sauce, they complimented the falafel quite nicely. Next we tried the kebab fries and oh my god I could eat these all day, every day, SO ADDICTING. Extra crispy fries with their house made sauces on top and feta cheese..get your own because you won't want to share. The wrap I had was also off the charts good, it blew my mind so I don't remember the name!! Tender but crispy flat bread with beef/lamb mix, rice, spicy sauce, feta cheese, cool tomatoes and of course tzaziki sauce. They're just the right size, very filling. Oh and they have Maine Root drinks in their fountain drink machine, awesome! We will be back!!

As a person who was a native of Istanbul for 22 years I can tell you that there is not much Turkish about this food. The only resemblance is the concept of meat in a bread with lettuce, tomatoes & onions. But, the similarity ends there. The authentic Turkish gyro is not made of a mush of beef and lamb. It is made of thinly pounded slices of a marbled cut of beef very tightly packed on a skewer. It should not be frozen, but the meat is prepared daily and fresh starting early in the morning. This one tasted no different than the frozen counterparts found all over US. Disappointing :(
