Wow! This place is definitely out in the middle of nowhere, but if you are wandering around the backwoods, definitely make it a point to go here. 4 miles south of Blount Memorial, then left, 3 miles off 321 on Ellejoy Road. It's worth the trip! When you drive up, you wonder if there's a restaurant there, but there is! Don't by shy, these folks are very friendly and welcome you in! The atmosphere is definitely rustic. The barn itself is litterally wood logs all around with a tin roof. The inside is decorated very warm and cozy with lamps, rugs, blankets and all sorts of fun decor. The staff are very friendly. Many Christian sayings hung around the restaurant and Christian Music playing in the background. The restaurant has a dozen various sized tables around and we heard there's standing room only some nights. All the food is homemade. I would recommend the Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. The Peach Cobbler was made like a dumpling-style cobbler and was great with Ice Cream. Sodas are not refillable, but the iced tea, coffee, and water are. Sodas are in a can. They serve drinks in frosted Mason Jars. Again, don't be intimidated by the rustic look. There is a wonderful restaurant inside! Parking is on a round-about gravel / paved driveway and the path to the restaurant is loose bricks, so watch your step.
