We love this place, the food is good the atmosphere is gorgeous , service is great! My only request is for the folks that do not come by boat, they should install a handrail along the steps going down to the dock.

My roomie and I just love this place. The bartenders are great, the food is good, and the view is incredible. Very laid back atmosphere and nice people.

Five stars for my first visit. In this area you won't find a better location to enjoy a burger on a sunny day, except maybe the Tellico Beach in outside of Tellico Plains. Situated on a floating dock next to the marina in Vonore is an open walled bar and grill serving what I'll describe as fancy burgers and sandwiches in an almost beachy setting. Not surprising since the owner has managed marinas in Florida before moving to east Tennessee (I met him at their other restaurant Linda's Cafe in Madisonville). You can go plain but why not enjoy a salmon or a blue cheese black angus? My guests graciously let me try both of those and I would happily order either next time. I chose the pulled pork sandwich and although I wasn't disappointed, I've had better. Still, sitting on the dock watching the boats go by, enjoying a cool breeze (even though it was almost 90 outside) made me want to buy a boat and glad I was able to enjoy a relaxing break from the yard work awaiting me at home. If you have a boat or PWC, docking here is easy. They even have fuel. And seriously, even on a 90 degree humid day, the breeze coming off of the water made our shady table very comfortable.

Best ribs I have had in a very long time. The atmosphere was great and personable. The hamburger was great and my sons chicken fingers were really good. Will go back when we are in the area. Highly recommend.

This is really good food on the water. I give it a 3 for food and a 5 for the view and location. In my mind the utility of a floating restaurant is that it's floating. The proximity to the water is the point... You can eat on the water. You can park your boat, walk 20 feet and eat. If you want an outstanding culinary experience look for something else. If you love the lake and want to eat, go here. The place is really nice. Exposed wood. ...an outdoorsy feeling. I had a great hamburger. Good fries. One more time - IT's FLOATING ON THE WATER.

Took over 80 minutes to get my Fish and Chips. Burger came with Jalapeño Cheese instead of pepper jack. Service is horrible! I think they are changing names to the Lakeside Grill & Bar.

While we love the renovation, the service and menu are terrible. First the menu. It is so limited we find it hard to keep coming back. But what keeps us away most is the service. The last time we were there we waited 20 minutes for a menu (which I ended up asking for). We then waited at least 15 minutes for our drink order, then more time for us to order. Then the wait really started. The servers even came over to tell us it would come out soon. An hour after we placed our order we still were not served. We ended up leaving. I hope the new owners get this straightened out. It could be a very fun place to boat to, but I have heard nothing but complaints about the service and menu. For now we are going to Tellico Marina.

Spent four days cycling in the area during the day and here in the afternoon and evening. The boys from Indiana love it. Keep up the great work. The family that runs/owns the place take care of their customers!!

I completely agree with the first post about this place. On the weekends they have live music or a dj depending on the schedule. So far I have had the pulled pork sandwich and the burger, and though I have had better I would definitely eat either again. The atmosphere is very low key and has a wide variety of people around the bar. Coming from san diego back to Tennessee I was worried about finding a local bar that I enjoyed. This place has certainly filled that void! The owners are great and are always around if you have an issue or just want to sit around bs for a while. Go out and enjoy an east Tennessee evening out on the dock!

Now called Lakehouse Grill. Much better menu than last year. Great chef and management. Good food, great atmosphere, beautiful view. Plenty of space at the dock and very helpful dock assistance if needed. Nice selection of beer and food. Try the pork nachos and grouper sandwich. Yes sometimes great places are crowded and that slows down service. Relax, have a drink and look at the lake!
