My past 4 visits here have been awful. I usually get iced coffee or cold brew. They are usually out of cold brew but the one time they had it they didn't cut it. So I got a venti cup of cold brew concentrate (maybe that's why they are always out). Luckily I was on my way home so I was able to cut it in half at home. The iced coffee always tastes burned. The good thing is the baristas are friendly. The food has tasted good. I'm going to be visiting Panera for my coffee fix from now on!

Very nice location! I'm in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee, and this was the closest Starbucks. The drive thru was PACKED, which makes sense because it's the only one within like 15 minutes. The baristas were super nice and made conversation with me about what I'm doing here and if I'm enjoying the state - I'm ecstatic that they DIDN'T tell me to "have a blessed day" (I hear that EVERYWHERE here). The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because the trash was like overflowing and the RTD case was kind of messy. Other than that, it was a nice little spot.

It's rare, but I went inside as the drive thru was about 10 cars deep. This store is the FIRST I have every experienced where they made my drink based of the line INSIDE!! Normally, if there isn't a line inside (this is all Starbucks in general) and at least three cars waiting to order, you win the game by going inside since (it always seems) only one person is allowed to use the espresso machine at once. At this location, register dude just walked over, made my drink, and bam! 3 min. in and done. Also, they had the new TN mug, so hurray for me.

So everything about my coffee and the majority of the service was fine, except that the cashier doesn't know how to do basic math. My bill came to $11 and change. I handed her $22. She turns around and throws two dollars into the tip jar and breaks my $20 for my coffees. Somebody better go back to math class.

I go to this Sbux maybe 5 days out of 7. The staff is reliable. It is a stop-gap for many employees so you see a lot of new faces. I'm guessing many are MTSU students. There is a group of regular baristas who've been there for a few years so I rarely have to tell them my order as I get ye basic tall dark roast...straight up. They're good people. The owner really should do more to limit the hard surfaces and noise..especially spending a few pennies for plastic caps for the chair legs...geez..simple fix . In late Winter / early Spring the sunlight can take some wicked angles at certain tables. The only other gripe is a very limited amount of outlets for your devices... again....that's an easy fix if the owner cared.

Of the many Starbucks I have been to across the US and Canada, this one most consistently gets the orders wrong and has the most uninterested and bla se employees I have encountered. There is so little to meet the expectation of an experience here that it is just another place to get coffee. I prefer to go to the Starbucks kiosk in Target though it is much less convenient.

I visit this Starbucks whenever I am in the Smyrna area. I have not gone inside just through the drive thru. The drive thru can get pretty backed up but it goes by very quick, most of the time. They have always made my drinks right.

The location is clean. The staff is friendly. My drink has never been made incorrectly. There's a drive thru--but the wait is usually much shorter inside. Speaking of the inside, that is my only problem with this place. It echoes tremendously. When the metal chairs grind against the concrete floor, it's awful!

Extremely rude staff, it was 15 minutes before closing time and a friend and I were sitting conversating , when a large group of lik 20 people came in and as they were being assisted with their orders, a worker came to my friend and I and said "u have to go , it's closed". Which he said in a very rude voice but we their was still 10 min to go and they weren't even halfway done taking the order of those 20 people. . . Overall extremely rude workers.. they need to be taught not to talk lik that to customers

My husband and I have been here a few times since moving to Smyrna. The baristas have always been very friendly, and they have yet to mess up my favorite drink. They are not even irritated when you run in 10 minutes before closing because you just HAVE to have a sugary coffee drink. It's also a nice place to sit and have a discussion with your spouse that you can't have at home because you got yourself into a sticky roommate situation (which, I am happy to report, has been resolved). This one's a keeper.

I had to stop at the Smyrna Starbucks near the hospital before a Saturday meeting I was hosting. I tried to call ahead but the number on the internet was actually to a fax machine or something so I had to just stroll in. First off, I was surprised at how many people were at Starbucks at 7AM on a Saturday. Why are those people not in bed sleeping off a hangover like I wished I was doing? Luckily it wasn't so packed that I had to wait to be waited on. I asked the boys behind the counter if they had large containers for about 30 people and they recommended two of the to-go containers. How long will it take? They said 10-15 minutes and they would have it ready to go. I would say it was even less time than that actually! They brewed two big to-go jugs of coffee and filled up a bag with cups, sugar, fake sugar, stirrers, etc. They then filled up a large cup with creamer and put a stopper in it so it wouldn't leak. Then the cute boy behind the counter helped me carry it all out to my car. Now that's service!! Great job Starbucks!!

Solid cup of coffee. If I had some "big project" to work on, this would be a good place to hammer it out. Always get the feeling I don't look "serious" enough, but, what are you going to do? Nice place to hang...

Quick and clean Starbucks to stop at when needing a break from I-24. They have a drive thru which seems to be quite popular but i would go inside to check out the man candy working there (3 hot baristas in one location? Unheard of!) Oh yeah i also went in to get coffee also and it was delightful.

Staff is friendly and drinks are on point. I go here daily. Don't hate cause it's not a "local" aka "snobby" coffee shop. Smyrna and La Vergne have very few options. So just go here and embrace some damn good coffee. They won't disappoint, I promise you. And if they do, just complain and you'll get your drink made right and a coupon for a free one. Tell me the last time Fido or Bongo did THAT.

Grab a napkin, they didn't give me a wrapper around my hot hot breakfast sandwich :( that doesn't happen in L.A.

This review is sad to post because I love coffee and Starbucks. But this particular Starbucks is just not the same as it used to be. I've been going there since it was built in Smyrna. The baristas were always awesome, the drinks amazing, customer service great, and the seating and atmosphere perfect. BUT. This is no longer true. Because I went to Starbucks so much, I basically knew each baristas schedule. And the awesome ones? Probably moved on to better things. I personally feel as if this Smyrna Starbucks just hired the first ten applicants or something and trained them in a half a day. It's a whole different experience now. I haven't had a good drink (and I've tried many items off the menu to see if maybe my tastebuds had changed or something) from them in months. They've also redecorated and now have a huge conference table and tables that are really close together. The atmosphere is just...off. I've been to lots of Starbucks around Middle Tennessee and Smyrna is just not in the top pack anymore. I'm not sure how others would feel if they've never been to this particular Starbucks, but because I'm a frequent, I can immediately tell the difference. It's disappointing and I probably won't go back anytime soon.
