I know everybody's taste is different but I cannot understand this take out has 5 stars. The food tasted not fresh, blend and greasy. The service on the phone was short and cold, ditto for the service at the counter. This probably is one of the least enjoyable Chinese take out experience I've had in a very long time. If you want some really good Chinese with great service. The Chopstick House" on Murfreesboro Pike is way better.

I'll never forget my first time eating here. I was much younger and working as a lube tech at the Valvoline Oil Change shop across the parking lot, and it was a hot day. They had just opened, and I figured "why the hell not". Best decision that I've ever made... and I've made a lot. I've been going to this place for more than ten years, and the quality has never failed. This opinion wouldn't normally mean anything to anyone aside from a reviewer except for this one little fact. I never eat at Chinese restaurants. I just don't... for no other reason than they aren't as good or don't carry the same quality "Honey Chicken" that I get from my beloved Golden China. Great environment? Eh, maybe or maybe not. It's just a place with tables, chairs, and all the accompanying utensils that allow you to do what you came there for. Great people? You bet. The nicest, and legitimate in their ways. My Infamous "one-sentence review" of Golden China? I love this place so much that I'd pick up a weekend shift just to eat it for free.

Great food! They're awesome about substitutions. One thing is, I won't be paying cash. I was shorted on change once and when I tried to let the owner know, without pocketing the change or anything he stood there and argued with me.

Does not deliver! Yet another bland boring Chinese food establishment that has inaccurate information on yelp. They do not offer delivery and I will update my review as soon as they update their information on yelp. Hold these places responsible for the service they advertise.

I've moved away from Tennessee and have been gone for about a month now. One of the biggest contributors to homesickness is being away from my favorite Chinese restaurant. It's a small, family owned and run business that had been my top pick for Chinese take-out. They are friendly, appreciate return business and will get to know you on a first name basis. I've had nearly everything on their menu and have never been disappointed. Whether you're passing through Smyrna or have been a long time resident, I highly recommend Golden China. Portions are generous, prices are more than reasonable, and quality can be found in every order. I look forward to eating from there as frequently possible when returning to visit my family :)

Great takeout place. I've never gotten bad food or service a single time since moving here 6 years ago. The prices are very reasonable as well. The family combination is a nice price and can easily feed 4 or more people.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
