3.5, but definitely worth the stop after a long day of hiking & labor day traffic. Reuben eggrolls were different, good if you like Reubens. Pizza I had was just ok, but the crust was good & pizza always hits the spot regardless. Dad said the fish sandwich was the best he's ever had & mom said her salad was "like a typical chef's salad- but really good!" Sister ate all of her chicken fingers even tho she didn't plan on it that were so yummy. Your choice of housemade sauces. Huge portion sizes too! Onion rings and fries were good.

Thank God it's not a tourist trap! Locals here. 5 tv's and pool although the sticks are worn out, electronic dart board and golden t for you golf fans. Bring your Id because I'm old enough to be the bartenders momma and they carded me. Peeps weren't that friendly which totally sucks just saying :(

I did not planned to visit this place in advance. I just did a quick search on Bars in this side of town. I had good reviews, so I decided to go. This is a sports bar located in Sevierville, TN. I had Sweetwater IPA, after having asked what they recommended. Of course, I did enjoyed much, but next time I will look at the menu and will try to see the list of all beers available. Why? Because among others, they had my favorite IPA, Lagunitas, and they had it draft. I had only had Lagunitas in a bottle. I wanted to eat something, so I ordered Fried Pickles...well, my review can finish here by telling you that those pickles were the very best ever. Perfect texture, perfect seasonings, perfect flavor, perfect size, wow....really. I can't say anything else about the other items on the menu, but if everything else is made like those pickles, then this is a good place to eat overall.

Steph and I are in Pigeon Ford. Had no idea was so so touristy. We like local dives, asked hotel where to go for drinks and good bar food away from tourist attractions. They sent us here. First off, our waitress, bartender's name is Nicole. She was great. That is always a good start. The waitress usually is the deciding factor on how long we stay somewhere. That said we will be here a while. Had the wings and split one of the many hand made burgers on menu. Had the Irish burger. Delicious. Substituted onion rings for fries under Nicole's suggestion. They were awesome. This is our go to place when we come back.

This was a very good dining experience. Nicole is a very good waitress. The menu is rife with excellent flavor and taste highly recommend.

Service was polite and fast. Hickory burger was huge and delicious. Yummy onion rings. Blackened chicken sandwich was awesome and filling, my wife only ate half! 10% off from yelp check-in was easy to use. Gluten free bread is offered at no extra charger--rare among restaurants!

Hidden Gem. You don't expect an eatery this nice in a strip mall. Don't judge it by outwardly appearances. Very good burgers and great specials. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

The portions are huge. They have some very unique appetizers that are delicious you should plan on trying at least two of them. The onion rings are the best in the area.

We loved this place. We couldn't decide on a beer, so the waiter recommend different ones and brought us out samples. The burgers were huge and so good. The onion rings were the size of cereal bowls. We will definitely eat here again.

Great spot alternative to the usual touristy places. Good selection of beer. Good service. Good prices and specials. Ask for the specials as they change and not all are advertised. Great place to drink. The food was not that great. We shared the meaty pizza. The toppings were good but the crust was pretty bad. The band that night was awesome and the whole reason we stayed and ate. (We were just planning on a beer before dinner somewhere else). We got there about 7 and shut it down. Band was really really good. Mike Snodgrass Band.

The New Roaming Gnome is complete disaster. I really enjoyed it until the greedy owner changed the menu. He took french fries off the menu who does that.. The great fish platter they had went down in price it also went down in quality and size. The service was crap when before it was really good. Sadly they dont' care about customers as the manager of this store went on facebook and told his loyal customers we dont' want your business go to one of the other places. Very dissappointed I wouldn't give them anymore business.

Great service. Stiff drinks. Good food. Love it! A bit of respite away from the main drag. Totally loved it.

This place was decent. It was the closest bar to our cabin in Pidgeon Forge and it was a decent place to hang out for the night.

The Roaming Gnome is that typical locals bar in an area filled with restaurant workers and theme parks employees looking to unwind after a long day at work. You won't be surprised to find this place packed to the brim with rowdy locals until last call at 3AM. The prices are more affordable than your typical "tourist trap." The dining area is relatively spacious and there are dart boards and pool tables for those who wish to partake. During my time living in Sevierville, I frequented this joint on Friday nights and had my fair share of good times. If you're a local, then you've probably been here or at least heard of it. If you're a tourist looking to have more than few drinks and maybe even meet some locals - you've found your bar.

Really a 3.5. Very fresh side salad with bits of delicious smoky bacon. Dressings were boring though. Not homemade and very limited selection. Delicious burgers, onion rings and fries. Okay veggie burger. Mostly beans and good flavor but fell apart and very hard to eat. Okay pizza. Very nice server. very few others on staff. surprised he was able to keep everyone happy (ie no major delays)!

I am not even going to give 1 star, stayed for one drink took 20 min to get it, it was nasty so we left absolutely horrible, doesn't even deserve one star

This is just about the only place in Pigeon Forge that would be considered an actual "bar" (other than your name brand places to eat). Prices are reasonable. Disappointed with their gaming area; the pool sticks are trash. Some of their furniture is broken and still out so you can sit on it, so be careful. The staff were some what friendly, not chatty like any of the other bars I've ever been in. However, I would recommend stopping in if you are looking for a late night drink.

All we have had so far is the appetizer, and I could eat 5 more orders of the "Irish boxes"! breaded mashed potato balls with cheese and chives... OMG...let ya know how dinner is! But it is already a new favorite! Ok, couldn't decide whether I wanted Philly cheesesteak or a burger....when there it was on the menu.... a Philly cheese steak burger!!! It was better than I imagined! As for customer service, well I won't go into great detail, but Andy truly cares about his customers. 100% sure he saved a guys life tonight, and I am truly impressed. What a wonderful experience :) even with my belly lookin' like a full-term food baby!

Can't complain about anything. The waitress was there as we sat down. Drinks came quickly. When ordering, the waitress picked up on the fact we both wanted the same sandwich. Instead of keeping quiet & padding her tip, she suggested one sandwich might feed both of us. The Irish Burger was 6 inches tall and was PLENTY big enough for us both. The Irish Eggrolls were GREAT!!! Be sure to get the Yelp 10% coupon if you don't have anything else. It's behind Fudruckers in the strip shopping center. It is a pub/ bar. Hey, ya wanna Irish Pub, dis is da place.

:::Bar Review::: I dig this place. This is a locals' bar, friendly to all, great bar staff and affordable. There are plenty of tables for sitting/dining, a pool table area, a spacious bar area and even a DJ on weekends. They also have an ample beer selection for beer connoisseurs. Personally, I loved the iced Fireball shots (cinnamon whiskey)-- delicious and surprisingly smooth. Try it! As an visitor to the area, this bar showed my friends and I lots of love. If you're ever in Sevierville or Pigeon Forge... you'll probably need a drink or three. This should be your "go to" bar... trust me.

So fun! We wanted a local spot and that's exactly what we got. They had a live band playing an acoustic set and they were so great. Drinks were good, cheap and the environment was perfect for 4 out of towners! The staff was so great and super friendly. Loved the bouncer, he was hilarious. Only tiff we had was with the billing. We all used cards and a couple days later still were sorting out final totals BUT doesn't change the way we feel. Roaming gnome was fabulous and treated us so well on our last night in TN!

A little bit off the beaten path, but definitely worth seeking out. Lots of beers on tap, great live music, delicious appetizers. Tried the Rueben Eggrolls, Beer Cheese & the Irish Boxies. My favorite was the cheese. If you're looking for a "real" non-chain good place to let your hair down- look no further, this is it. The next time I'm in the Pigeon Forge area, I'll be paying a visit here.

Awesome onion rings! Had a bit of a wait, but I blame that on it being late afternoon on a Sunday.

My wife and I are full-time RV'ers, and we travel the country looking for friendly bars with a great selection of beer, decent food, and pool tables. Throw in a relaxed atmosphere, good locals to talk to, and (for us) no smoking, and it doesn't get any better than the Roaming Gnome. When you ask a bartender if they have any IPA beers and he says "5 on tap and many more in a bottle", you know they cater to serious beer drinkers. They had more GOOD beer on tap and in bottles than we've seen in a long time. Great decor. We'll be back while we're in the area. Just a fantastic place.

Not bad at all! A Friday night at 630/700pm and the place wasn't too crowded. Not too loud and friendly people all around. (Gnomes probably) Service was friendly and relatively quick. The Cheese Logs are huge and tasty. Too much for us so we took a couple home. Prices are decent (Friday special was 25% off the Irish fare!). All in all, a great first time. If we're ever back in Sevierville, we'll be back!

3 stars is more for the company I kept. This is just a bar. There seems to only be 2 in the area. There's individual tvs at every booth and the bathroom, the ladies room anyway, smelled of fresh cut wood. They have a special on bottom shelf drinks during what I guess is TN version of happy hour. In this part of the country i guess Guinness isn't considered top shelf and that's just fine with me, i got to drink it cheaper than usual!

Good little "locals" bar in the middle of a tourist wasteland. Despite the local feel, staff was friendly and the regulars didn't look at us askance. Huge selection of beers by the bottle and on tap. Pool tables in the back, NTN trivia, and the requisite dozen or so TVs with sports on them.
