We enjoyed our stay at Blue Mountain Mist. The house itself was very clean and beautiful. Our room was clean and very nice. The bed was very comfortable and roomy. Our breakfast was very good with plenty of coffee, juice and sweet tea. The staff was very friendly and up on the shows that were in town. The Inn was easy to find and close to town and was beautiful. We will be back and will tell all our friends and family how we had a very good time.

Great B&B..relaxing My husband and I were looking for a place near Pigeon Forge, TN to stay. We looked at hotels near where we wanted to stay but they weren't meeting our ideas or expectations. I stumbled on this place and it looked perfect, a Christian B&B. We stayed in bed and breakfast before, but I am always skeptical as they can be hit or miss. So I didn't know exactly what to expect. The house has lots of unique historical things to explore, and the rooms each had their own unique feel. We picked the Smoky Mountain room which was very comfortable. We stayed 5 days. The entire place was darling, perfectly located to near by attractions but yet secluded and the owners were wonderful as well as the staff. The breakfast was spectacular and the inn was comfortable and decorated beautifully. The views were spectacular and the grounds were wonderful. On top of all that their rates are very affordable. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to get away in the pigeon forge or Gatlinburg area. We were not the only guest, we met some great people and some not that great. The only bad experience was with some of the so called "Christian" guests that were staying there. The breakfast dinning area had tables were you can sit where ever you want to socialize with other guests except for one day 12/29 which as I was about to sit I was made aware that it was reserved by a rude supposedly minister's wife from Georgia. She reserved a table for her husband, daughter and herself, talk about anti-social people. I hope she reads this to remind her that being Christian is to act like one. Beside this unfortunate encounter this B&B was a great experience.

Passing thru Pigeon Forge , TN husband and I needed a place to stay and stumbled upon such a sweet Bed and breakfast. It was a hidden treasure just outside of the hustle and bustle of the strip . What a friendly staff, comfortable and clean accommodations , the temptation station of evening desserts were so yummy and breakfast was divine . Will be returning to this peace of Tennessee heaven

We won a 2 night stay at a Christmas party. We decided to use it in May. It is such a beautiful, quiet and peaceful retreat. We enjoyed sitting and rocking on the front porch. Also the evening desserts that were provided, delicious! The owners are very friendly and everyone that works there is very polite. They provide a big country breakfast every morning. And it's delicious! We are already planning our next visit!

If you are planning to vacation in the Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge area you MUST stay here. My husband and I stayed here in April 2013 for two nights. We used GPS to find the inn and it took us the long way around, but the owner was very helpful and told us a short cut that literally took maybe 5 minutes and put us in the heart of PF. The room was clean... my husband's only complaint was that the TV was too small. They have a glass enclosed "reading room" in the basement and an area to sit and watch movies or play cards/board games. On the main level is several guest rooms, the dining area, kitchen and sitting room. The top floor is guest rooms only. They serve a hot country breakfast every morning... I think it starts at 9, but they can accommodate. You will sit with other guests and the food is served family style. My only issue with this was the amount they served... I thought it was a tad bit rationed. They also have evening desserts from 6-10 PM... cakes, pies, all kinds of goodies. It's on rotation and they usually have 2-3 items a night. They also have coffee, tea and soft drinks available. We would definitely stay at Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn again!!

I have to say that the Blue Mountain Mist Inn exceeded my expectations. Had a wonderful weekend there with friends for a wedding. The chef had unbelievable treats everyday on the "Temptation Table" but the Berry Cobbler was my all time fave. The views from almost all the rooms are spectacular and the house is quite comfy with many spots to just sit and relax or read a book. The room was impeccable and very comfortable. I am a New Yorker and would definitely look forward to going there again. The hiking is wonderful, the town seemed very lively and there was much to do. OMG, almost forgot to mention the KICKASS breakfasts!! YUMmmmmm Quiche, pancakes, hot coffee, juice, fruit...can I go back for free to review the food?

Great hotel. Way much higher than expectations. Room was comfy, food was great and the family who runs the place were absolutely awesome! You can also meet new people during the breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

We have been staying here since they started in 1999. My husband remembers Grandma Sarah's mom coming up the stairs telling us stories about the old mountain and about the Shields Family History. I loved hearing her talk about them. They were interesting family. We loved staying here and really enjoyed seeing all the children grow up there.. Eric on his own with his own family and the other children becoming parents on their own as well. its like a retreat for us to stay here... quiet yet noisy if you want it to be .... 5500 acres of rolling hills... 4 small cottage houses on the property plus a guest house for celebrities when they come into town... and grandmas house which is always special to see...even though grandma is no longer there, Sarah and Norman Ball... are truly the best people around... you will love it as much as we love it there too... also the facial body soap, is so refreshing to wash with... we bought some home too. enjoy this place its so quiet and relaxing a far place truly backwoodsly but the best place we rather be in... if you are able to have them cook you dinner for a nominal fee do eat there best food in town.

... If you get a chance, this is the place to stay. The employees are friendly and sweet and help with places to go visit and eat. At 9am in the morning, breakfast is served. Their breakfasts range from eggs, sausage, French Toast and home fries to crepes to Quiche to pancakes. It is served family style and you eat with other guests. At 6:30pm, they have desserts, coffee, hot tea and cold tea. This is available until about 9-10pm. All desserts and breakfasts are made right in the kitchen. The scenery for this place is simply breathtaking. If you're looking for a place to get away and just enjoy, I would highly recommend Blue Mountain Mist.

Always a great stay here at BMM! I really look forward to staying here when I know I am going to be in there area. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. If you go out to eat while you are staying here don't forget to save room for dessert at the inn which is served at the "Temptation Station" every evening with coffee/tea.
