I suffer from bad food-PTSD, where when reviewing a menu and seeing an egg roll listed, a flash back of what I was served in Southern Oregon runs through my mind- a huge cylinder of thick fried dough stuffed with cabbage attempting badly to pass as an egg roll. Luckily for me, Yuno's authentically made and delectably light and crispy egg rolls stuffed with tasty ground pork, veggies, and glass rice noodles has been the perfect rehabilitation for my disorder. The generous and fresh sashimi (including octopus, sweet shrimp, tuna, white tuna, red snapper, seared tuna, salmon) flooded me with memories of home in coastal California. The value and quality of the fish will have me back for more! The fried squid legs was cooked perfectly, not rubbery and greasy, served with an addicting and tasty dipping sauce with a hint of cinnamon. I popped one gyoza in after another, with each bite more addicting than the next. Finally the citrus-ginger dressing and salad was a refreshing way to get ready for our main courses. I was uncomfortably full already, but with one glance at the beef, shrimp, and scallop teriyaki, I couldn't let my chopsticks go idle. The teriyaki beef was so tender and packed with mouth watering flavor, a perfect balance of savory and sweet. It's obvious that quality is a priority in this establishment as the shrimp and scallops were plump, juicy and large, and shockingly affordable. When our orders for a variety of rolls came out, my stomach was short of bursting, yet I managed to enjoy the "Berry Berry," a beautifully designed spicy crab and cream cheese roll topped with freshly glazed strawberries. I managed to pop a few other varieties into my mouth including the volcano roll wrapped in a delicate soy paper and topped with addicting crunch crumbles before sleeping into a food induced coma. Needless to say, this will be my go to place when I will in my travels to Nashville.

Wish we lived closer to Yuno. What a little lovely surprise to find this here near the Nolensville Public Library and 2 mins down the road from Nana's and Martin's BBQ. The headliners are sushi and sashimi. All good and a good steady supply of the elusive uni (sea urchin). Tonight we even got quail egg on our salmon roe--Ikura sushi. Lovely, light, briny. The sleeper stand outs--Korean food. Spicy pork, bulgogi, kimchi. Tasty. Tonight, I had the salmon skin salad. I want to come back for this salad. Very crispy, seasoned batons of salmon skin on iceberg lettuce with Japanese salad dressing on the side. Onion slices paper thin and oh so subtle. Light, refreshing, crispy, fishy (in a good way). Beer and wine available. We love bellying up to the bar and watching the sushi chef do his magic. He's friendly, meticulous, and remembers so many details of his customers. Tonight he pulled out a flame thrower (okay, maybe just a kitchen torch) and seared a roll. To my number two son, I think the flame looked like it was curling out of the dragon Smaug's gaping maw.

Have eaten here twice and both times the sushi and the service were great! Will definitely be a repeat customer-

I love that we finally have a sushi restaurant in Nolensville. I never thought I would see the day. The owners have created a simple, nice atmosphere with good food that will keep you in our hometown for dinner. I struggle every time with getting either sushi, or the spicy chicken that I order extra, extra, extra spicy. Luckily, the spicy chicken comes with a roll of your choice. The service is warm and quick but I never feel rushed.

First time dining here always get to go but was greeted right away with a smiling face. Very attentive server. Had gyoza which was average nothing special. The seaweed salad seemed a bit old so didn't finish it. Salmon skin roll had too much rice around it so it overpowered the flavor of the salmon. The skin could have been toasted a bit more because it lacked the crunch that i like. Yaki udon was delicious full of flavors perfect spic we level and a balance with the fresh vegetables. Would definitely go back to try more of their items.

Maybe the best in zip code for both quality and service ! Sushi Me used to be #1 on Nolensville Pike so now you have two great choices within 10 minutes of East Brentwood. Both have parking challenges though

Great basic sushi! Cali Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Crunchy Shrimp Roll... Great soup!!! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is no beer!!! Come on people let's get some beer up in here!!! Awesome wait staff also!

The sushi is great and fresh here. The spicy chicken dinner platter was a really good deal to let me try a little bit of everything and wasn't too spicy

Best in 37135!! When this place opened our hopes were not high...we are VERY picky Japanese food lovers. The food is always fresh, sushi always perfect temp, wasabi and ginger never been a disappointment. My kids love the teriyaki!! A little pricey, but we've never been disappointed in food quality. The only down to this place is the atmosphere; overheads make it feel like a diner. But if mood is no matter, this is a perfect sushi place!

I Was actually really impressed with the quality of the sushi! Coming from CA, we love our sushi and have tried various places all around this area into Nashville. This place is in our top 2 as of now and I def wasn't expecting that! I wish they had a few more roll selections, but def enough to satisfy your sushi cravings! They have a little patio outside which is a bonus and the inside is very clean and new. Green fields and drunkin something ( can't remember the name) were 2 of the rolls that we really liked.

The new smell reminds me to give some grace when it comes to timing of service but overall the employees are very friendly! The food was great and best of all fresh! My wife and I hit this new spot for lunch and really liked it. We split the spicy chicken bowl and a double crunch roll and came out with a ticket price of 15.84! Dinner prices increase by approx $5 per entree. Yuno is another great reason to stay in the town limits of Nolensville!

It's ok. The beef and chicken teriyaki are cooked almost to annihilation; a little on the tough side. The tempura is pretty good. The volcano roll was not good. Much better around for less. There is a lot of room for improvement in the food and service department. They closed for Super Bowl Sunday. That's pretty ballsy for a new restaurant. It's ok.

Only been open a couple of weeks so I'm sure things will improve. Very small. Had to wait for a table for a while. Diners told each other to sign a list. Understaffed. Told one of the servers was off for his birthday. My wife got her food first - vegetable teriyaki dinner - very tasty but the accompanying sushi did not arrive for about 15 more minutes. A few minutes after my wife's food arrived, my daughter's nabeyaki udo arrived - she asked for a substitution for the shrimp and they kindly added a tempura fried vegetable, This dish was also very good. Now, to my order - 2 types of sushi - nothing special. Well, both of my companions had almost finished their meal before I got mine. The waitress kept coming by and apologizing. What bothered me most was that people that came in after me were receiving their sushi before me. Once it arrived, it was quite good - well made and well presented. And, they do not have their beer permit yet. Other alcohol beverages are available. As I said, I'm sure things will improve. I will go back. Just be prepared to endure some growing pains if you go in the near future. UPDATED As I promised, we gave it another shot. Very good service, quality recommendations. The sushi was very good. Seaweed salad was excellent. And, they do have a decent beer/wine selection now. Glad they're in the neighborhood. Glad we went back! We will be regulars.

Really good. I highly recommend this place. They are new. I like new and clean restaurants. The opposite of kitchen nightmares! The rainbow roll had really fresh fish in it. The fried rice was very good. Friendly abd helpful service. Lunch specials are very affordable. I plan on going back soon

Granted, they're new, but I wasn't impressed. When you open a business you better be as good if not better than your competition. The rolls were small, nothing special, and for their "signature roll", I would expect something better. Sorry. Don't think I'll be coming back for a while, when there are several options right up the road in Lennox Village, etc. Hopefully it'll get better. Best wishes!

We went for lunch today (our first visit). Both got the 2 sushi roll lunch special. The sushi was really good. I'm not sure where these other people are getting sushi that's so much better. The rice melts in your mouth. The service was good and the restaurant really clean and well decorated. It is small, so my guess is that it fills up quickly. When the weather is warmer, they'll double their space with the patio seating. We'll be back!

The place is new but I was expecting better. Reading the other reviews that praise this place was interesting. I guess it all depends upon what you are used to. This place compares with Publix or Kroger fare. Nothing special, for sure. I was hoping for a place near my home that was yummy but it was just so so. If I were planning to open a new place I would make a point of checking out the competition and making certain my food and presentation was as good or better. Apparently, the owners of this bistro failed to do that. It's not that it was bad but I could drive up the road for another seven minutes and get a killer meal. I will be doing that in the future. I may try it again in time and I hope they read this and make the necessary changes to their menu, presentation and quantities.
