Went to this place for the first time yesterday and will be going back again many times in the future. I had a terrific roast beef sandwich and corn chowder. Great staff. Lisa, the owner clearly is passionate about serving great food. Can't wait to try some other offerings. For such a reasonable price, you'd be hard pressed to find a lunch spot with fresher, tastier ingredients

I had a good sandwich, the "Edmonson," roast beef with tasty herb cream cheese. It was a nice alternative to salty chain sandwich shops. The Itallian wedding soup was not bad but not noteworthy. The price was quite reasonable. My food was pretty quick once I ordered, but the ordering was a sloooow. A second register or faster register and faster operator would help gain another star. I'll be back to try some of the really tempting looking pastries.

I am shocked I have never reviewed this place given the amount of times I have eaten here. I know all the employees by first name. I love that this place is a mom and pop shop. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Also, everything tastes so FRESH! Know why? Because it IS! I love how I go in there and create my own salad. I did it so much they saved my order for me. Great customer service! My faves? They seriously have the best egg salad and pimento cheese sandwiches I have ever had. The snickerdoodle cookie made by pastry chef Amy are mouthwatering. I dream about them at night.

I have not had a spec of food from this place but they saved me from a melt down last Thursday. Coffee....all I wanted was coffee. Good coffee. Wonderful coffee. Wait...ROAST INC IS CLOSED! What!? My mind was close to shutting down when I walked into this place and said, "Please tell me you have coffee!" "Yes, just black", she replied. Happiness and Headache averted. Delicious sandwich, get the Steeplechase if you are a fan of brie and fruit. The decor is great, nice couch and furniture. Tons of space. My only qualms is that I wish there were more coffee options. I guess I should have gone for tea and gotten coded at Roast, Inc. Next door.

My Go-to lunch place! Sometimes 2-3 times per week. Salads, specials and sandwiches all at a reasonable price. Staff is nice and accommodating if you want to make substitutions. Sometimes crowded but that is to be expected when someplace is good! Note: Get there early if you want the special because they run out quickly sometimes. Favorite is the Bella Blue Sandwich!

The food was very good. Curried chicken salad wrap and a turkey and avocado sandwich. However the staff is rude. They have free wi-fi and my friend left for a meeting. I got my laptop out to work but they clearly thought I was overstaying my welcome, making audible comments. At no time was there a wait for tables, so I was uncertain as to why they cared, but I would not recommend this place if you're looking for friendly employees.

Unique Flavors makes an extra, extra good pimento cheese sandwich. Not too much mayo, good quality cheese and a pickle spear on the side-if you are into pimento cheese you will most likely be into their version. Great stuff! Pros: * Amazing pimento cheese! * Other sandwiches that my non-pimento-cheese-eating friends tell me are great * Yummy cookies * Cute, quaint dining room * They will toast the bread for that pimento cheese sandwich. If you're into that Cons: * Location-unless you live in Crieve Hall, in which case this would be a definite pro.

My favorite place to grab a sandwich for lunch.(The chicken salad is my favorite.) I'd go for dinner, but they are only open till 3pm and on weekdays. They have a different special on a daily basis and all are good. (The chick pea pasta sticks out as a favorite.) The names of all the sandwiches are based on Crieve Hall, which can be amusing if you live in the neighborhood. The service is friendly and the owner is a trained pastry chef. They have delicious desserts, I always end up with one or more.

I love this simple place and frequent at least once a week. Basics: Soups, Salads, Sanwiches and daily specials. Soup and Pasta changes weekly. Also some nice baked goods (scones!!!) Pros: Large array of sandwich options, my fav is their incredible egg salad. Sandwich bread is freshest I have ever had. Some of their specials (changes daily) are truly incredible... too many to list, but what stands out to me is the curried lentils. Nice clean atmosphere, fairly quiet unless alot of people in there. Fast service. Wonderful people running the place. Cons: uh, hard to think of any... oh! they close at like 3pm, so it is impossible to stop after work to pick up take home... maybe if they had a wider selection of hot tea's and coffee's it would be nice. If you are in the mood for this type of food, this is the place.
