We were in on a Sunday afternoon, so not a very busy day. Our waitress gave us very poor service. We had a group of 5 and ended up spending about $200, though it seemed we had to wait for ages before she would come check on us, or the table next to us. What was perhaps more annoying about the situation was she was sitting tables away from us, relaxing and playing with her phone. She was obviously not caring to be there and was waiting her shift out. At one point when we were about to order the calamari appetizer she cut us off and curtly said, "Those aren't on the menu any more. They were gross." (Good to know there were gross things on the menu?...) Food that we did end up ordering was meh, average. Sincerely not impressed, and with so many great restaurants here in Nashville, very doubtful that we will be returning.

The carnivore in me is always ready and willing to try new and different meat establishments, but alas, I felt pretty let down by this one. The bar service was good enough, our beers were cold - and even came in koozies! They also have frozen drink machines here, so even if you're not into the food at least you can get your bushwhacker fix! Our food did seem to take longer than it should have to come out, and we were there after the lunch rush, so there weren't too many other people in the place. When the food finally arrived, my biggest complaint was the bread to meat ratio. The slider patty was so thin, and the bun so large, it really overpowered everything else on the sandwich. Even my blue cheese lost its flavor in that behemoth of a bun. I don't remember if I had fries or not, so if I did I'm assuming they were just as lackluster. Honestly if I'm in the area I'd probably just as soon go to Soulshine next door and get more food for my money; a personal pizza will fill me up way more than a couple of tiny sliders.

Great place to find college students drinking it up, and grabbing late night bar food. Great place to find OVERPRICED, undersized sliders....... I'm not a fan, and your $$$ can be spent elsewhere for better food at a lower price in this area.

The Painkillers here are my favorite drink in Nashville--totally worth the 8-dollars they charge for a 16 ounce. Before we go out in Midtown, we always pre-drink here and/or nosh afterwards. I love the slider burgers too!

This place was excellent. While the sliders were a bit pricey, the service more than made up for it. Sierra the bar maid waited hand and foot on our party of 14 with charm and a smile literally ALL DAY. The drinks are affordable, and after a while, she started pouring free Fireball shots every other round. Definitely worth checking out if you're around 18th. You won't leave disappointed.

Waitress was awesome. Very good. Food: Not so much. Slider plate just not good. Several sliders were tried. None were good at all. Fried pickles had a seafood taste. Just not good. Great location. Food just subpar.

This place is just ehhhh, service is good and friendly...sliders are uhh...ehhh. It's not that their bad...it's just, if your gonna have a slider house, they should be better than that, I get the crowd your shoot for, but your in midtown and surrounded by great restaurants that serve quality food, your just a bit behind, I love that atmosphere and the free cuzzies, but the food needs to be stepped up! I'll continue to check back and will update when they make the necessary changes, I think they'll make it work!

The Slider House. This place is so close to being an awesome place. There are a few things they could do to make it awesome. So, lets start by talking about pricing. I do feel that the prices should be lower. Maybe 2.50 a slider instead of 3.50 or 4. I think by lowering the price they could actually make MORE money. How? Well, I'd order 4 sliders @ 2.50 a slider but I only ordered 2 @ $4. So, they made 2 dollars less than they could have and I know beef, ordered in bulk, isn't that expensive. They said that they were 3oz of beef per slider. Take 1oz off, make it 2.50 a slider and with 4 sliders you have basically a 1/2 lb burger and then it's right on target with other restaurants and prices. They might make more profit per burger at 4 - but I think if they would lower the cost per burger they could sell more of them and make more money overall even though they aren't as profitable. At the end of the day - profit margins matter little if you can't sell enough of them. And judging by the amount of people in there they aren't overwhelmed with business. I think lowering prices would bring more people in the door. Even the beers were expensive. A friend of mine was SHOCKED that you only for 1 slider for $4. He expected two for that price. Again, had the price been $5 for two - he wouldn't have been as shocked and might have ordered more than 1 slider and 1 side. Again, 2 for 5 - they would have gotten another dollar out of him. Those dollars add up. They would have had 2 more from me. But the price per slider was too high. Now - on to the actual food and service. Both were very good! The service was excellent. The southern comfort chicken slider was wonderful! The Old Hickory was great as well. The fries were ok. Not great but ok. They were shoestring fries and there sure were a lot. Also, even though they show cans of "Slider House Beer" - it doesn't actually exist. A friend wanted to try this slider house beer they show pictures of on the website and on the menu. The server said that the beer doesn't exist and she isn't sure why they have pictures of it on the menu. We don't either. Seems like a real misstep or an opportunity for the future. The beer he ordered was $6 for a can of beer. That's the price you pay for a mixed drink at most bars in the area. So - to sum up - Expect high prices, good food and good service. Don't expect to pay White Castle prices for these tiny sandwiches. And don't order the slider house beer. There is no such thing. I give them 3 stars not because the food isn't good. It is. But the prices are a little out of whack. So, the value for your dollar is very low. But, service is good, ambiance is nice and the tables are made out of the lanes at a bowling alley! Love that! I may be back - but at 4 dollars a slider - I doubt it'll be anytime soon. I compare prices to my favorite places, like Bricktops. 11 bucks for a huge burger and shoestring fries. It was nearly as much here with half as much food. So, they get 3 stars for now. It just doesn't measure up to the competition. It's good - but not $4 a slider good.

Definitely a cool place. The food is good but everything thing else is great. So if you like sliders with a kick then you will be happy. The beer selection is also good and it all comes in a can. Who doesn't want a Good People IPA in a can at a bar? Then they have a ton of awesome TVs. One of my favorite spots in Midtown.

Sunday, April 27th, Tony and I was out walking around and enjoying Nashville. We originally went to Noshville Deli near Trader Joe's but there was a 45 minute wait, so I said hey let's try SLIDER HOUSE...we have that on our list to try...so why not..Traffic going towards downtown was not as bad as the traffic I fought to get out to Trader Joe's area...ugh...Traffic..don't get me started. So, we went down by Vanderbilt and surprise surprise surprise the parking lot was not that packed and it was about 11:35 on a Sunday..we beat the crowd...YEAH!!! This was our first visit. The place is larger inside than it looks outside. We took a booth half way back in the middle area facing the bar/cooking area. Our waitress approached us immediately...what do you want to eat? I said, oh okay, I need a minute for that but can you give me a unsweetened tea with Lemon and Lime and regular sugar packets please...and Tony ordered a PBR..she said.."OH that is a 16oz..is that okay?" Tony said ...of course...I prefer the tall ones..and the 16oz PBR was only $2..... She left to get our drinks and we opted to get 2 sliders each with the side for $8.99..I ordered the Bay of Pigs and Muchacho with bruschetta for my side and Tony ordered the Dude and Hot Chicken with Sweet Potato Fries with Ranch dressing..she left and then about 15 minutes later the cook said ORDER UP...no waitress..he said ORDER UP about 4 minutes later and no waitress, she was busy joking and laughing with a group of four college aged boys...so another waitress grabbed our order and brought it to us..it was cold but hey...we are easy.. I asked her for some sugar for my tea, some silverware and some ranch dressing. Now remember she is not our first waitress...but she brings us one set of silverware, honey mustard dressing and one packet of sugar..one packet... Tony and I split the sliders in half so we could both try all four.. The hot chicken was first..we should have saved it until last because it was hot and basically destroyed our pallet ....but it was good, I had to dip it in the dressing and by this time she brought us the ranch dressing and one more packet of sugar..((SUGAR SHORTAGE apparently)))..That was a good slider...next we tried the Bay of Pigs..this is a Ham slider (cuban smoked ham and a second thin ham) with swiss cheese and dijun mustard sauce..we dipped it in the sweet honey mustard sauce she brought us earlier for the sweet potato fries..this was a GREAT SLIDER..we both agreed this was our favorite of the four. The sweet potatoe fries were a little over cooked but good. We enjoyed them a lot. my Bruschetta was UGH...he literally laid 4 / 5 pieces of bruschetta bread on the plate with some tomato, onion and cilantro mixture with balsalmic vinegar over the veggie mixture. NOT my favorite Bruschetta in Nashville.. Third we tried the DUDE which was hamburger beef with mushrooms cheese and lettuce tomatoe with garlic aioli sauce...NOT THE BEST ...needed more sauce it was very bland and dry..Had to spread some ranch dressing on it to moisten it up some..glad there was only a few bites of it. Fourth was the Muchacho which was beef burger with cheese, jalapeno, avocado and pico salsa ...it was bland..yes bland..it was dry ...yes dry..we were both very disappointed in the beef sliders...the ticket with taxes was over $25 and I left her a 12 % tip, even though we never saw her again until after we needed the check...we were NOT offered any additional drinks or refills..I will not go here again..To many places in Nashville to spend my money and get better Quality service and Food..BUT I DO RECOMMEND the BAY of Pig Slider and Hot Chicken Slider..if you chance a visit there...

I liked it. Granted, it was a Thursday and early (like 8 pm-ish) and most people were sitting outside, so we had plenty of room to sit. Waitress was great, tipped her big. Burgers were delish (get 3) and the Sriracha glazed chicken was aces. Plenty of beers or the "Painkiller" frozen drink (if you're not driving) and little burgers. Mmmm. Burgers.

I haven't Yelped for a long time, but my lunch at the Slider House inspired me to get back into it. Really just a terrible experience from start to finish. It was not my choice to come here. If I'm going to eat unhealthy, it's going to be something amazing like Nashville Hot Fried Chicken (yum). But my coworkers wanted to go, and despite being the office misanthrope I came along. Ignoring that sixth sense that warned me against... I served/bartended for five years, and one of the first things you learn is to read your clientele. Bunch of guys wearing tanks who brought their own coozies? Probably down to chill out over a few beers. Guys and gals of varying ages, some of whom are wearing suits? Probably trying to get back to the office in a reasonable amount of time. We were, as you might guess, the latter group. It's not like we were trying to have a quick business lunch. We gave ourselves a full two hours from leaving the office until anyone had a hard commitment (our office is ~10 minutes away). Showed up, sat down with some coworkers who were already seated in a corner outside. Coworkers already had beers, which made the rest of us very jealous since we didn't see a server for 20 minutes. When he finally showed up, there was no hello, how are you; no apology for the wait; no attempt to converse at all; just "what do you want to drink?". A: Beer. Oh, we are also ready to order... Nope, he's already gone. After waiting over 10 minutes for our drinks (CANS! Not martinis, not carefully crafted cocktails... cans of beer), we finally got them, only to have our server disappear again for a few minutes. Shame on us for being patient so far, I guess. Note: They were busy, but not "slammed". The restaurant was pretty much full, but it's not like there was a line out the door. Finally got to order more than half an hour after showing up. And now our watch begins... After waiting another half hour, we finally flagged our server to ask WTF? He hadn't been by for the token "oh sorry guys, the kitchen is a little backed up, everything will be out shortly", nor to refill our empty beers. He didn't seem to know what was going on. After going to check, he told us that our food had been taken to another table by accident, and that the kitchen was making our food again. Fine. Mistakes happen. After another ten minutes, he shows up with plates for three of the five of us, apologizing to the two remaining and reiterating that their food had been taken to another table. So wait... whose food got taken to another table? Did this happen twice? I am confused. At this point, we ask to speak to the manager. Blah blah blah, apologies apologies. Then, to make matters even better, I start to dig into my salad and discover that it's full of PLASTIC WRAP. Yes, it could be worse. It could be a dead critter, a pubic hair, or you know, a used syringe, but still... c'mon, guys. After that ridiculous wait, you give me a plastic wrap salad. I would have left at this point to make it to my meeting, but we'd carpooled and I couldn't get an Uber. Manager offers to comp our lunch and brings us a free shot, which helps improve our mood a little. We discovered as we left that he didn't comp our drinks, which would have been a nice gesture. So, in sum total, I was late for my meeting (their fault), still hungry (their fault), and kind of tipsy (my fault). Terrible food, terrible service--never going again.

I have to say when this place first opened I thought, how will this work? Just sliders? Won't Soulshine take all the business mostly? ummmm how I was wrong. This place is seriously good!!! The inside is really nicely spaced, plenty of tables and waitress service and very very clean. There is also a bar if you want to cozy up there. I have eaten here mid day and late night and it always hits my craving. In fact I love to just grab some drinks and sit out on there patio during warmer weather, even if I"m not in the slider mood. Sure beats trying to find patio space at Red Door when all the college kids crowd it. But onto the Sliders cause they are seriously good. Whoever thought of this menu did a great job because it has something for everyone! Beef lovers, chicken lovers, Turkey, pork, veggie/non beef lovers etc. Regular fries, and sweet potato fries my favorite! You can even order a side salad to make you feel less guilty. At least you had some greens :) (that's what I tell myself) My favorites are hands down The Southern Comfort (chicken), fried chicken with a siracha honey glaze. Yeah tell me that won't help cure any ailments from the night before or help coat it for the night ahead?! I get it almost every time. I also love the Muchacho and Old Hickory, even tried the special Jack FM one this past Saturday (at not so early an hour). All are really good and full of flavor. If you are in the mood for burgers and fries and a great beer list all served in cans (so fun), don't go to your average run of the mill joint...go to slider house. They even let you mix and match so you can try them all!

I enjoyed my visit to The Slider House, but there are a few issues that prevent me from giving them a full five stars. I first heard of The Slider House from their campy ads on Lightning 100. If you've tuned in, you've heard the Bill Clinton impersonator and his slew of double entendres concerning the great cans and tiny buns. It's a very effective ad campaign, as it certainly is memorable and unique. My wife and I wandered in around 8pm on a Wednesday night. It was relatively slow, but the bar was full. We had our choice of tables and were greeted almost immediately by our server, Grant. Minus a fumbled exchange where I motioned for a check from across the restaurant and he interpreted it as a request for an additional beer, he was great. He was patient, helpful, and attentive: everything a good server should be. The food was where I found them somewhat lacking. The prices were a little higher than I'd like, but then again, the rents in the area are also a little high. I probably wouldn't have taken issue with their prices if the food had lived up to its awesome potential. Between my wife and I, we ordered 5 different sliders. My favorite was the Smoke and Swine, but the Old Hickory, Blue Jack, and Bay 'O Pig all earn honorable mentions. The toppings were perfect, but unfortunately, the sliders were not. The food came out fast --too fast. When I took my first bite, what I suspected was proven true --what should have been juicy deliciousness was instead dry to the point of being extremely chewy. I, for one, am never willing to trade flavor for speed. That's why I typically avoid fast food places. Sure, I get it, the majority of their customers in the evening are likely drunk (especially with that whole open til 3AM aspect) and therefore are impatient to get their grub. Or perhaps the cooks are used to a great deal of volume and use a press or a spatula to speed the cooking process and make up time for getting behind on starting orders. In short, The Slider House is a great concept. The food has a lot of potential and the beer list is awesome (although I do prefer drafts). Their branding and location are excellent, and I'm sure they'll have no shortage of business. That said, I hope that they pay a little more TLC to what they put between those tiny buns and serve with their great cans.

Pros: southern comfort slider is amazing along with both sweet potato and regular French fries. Beer by the can and wall art add to the quirky hipster vibe. Good music piped through (not live). Cons: you order per slider so make sure you get what you need to make a meal. We had to order a second round because we didn't read that fine print on the menu.

Came here on a relatively slow evening and ordered food at around 11 pm. The bartender let the food sit on the counter for 15 minutes before she even noticed. By that time it was covered in fruit flies and other bugs. I refused the food and went elsewhere to eat. Service needs much improvement. The bartender was not interested in serving anyone who wasn't drinking.

Wish we had read Elle's review before we dropped $60 on what amounted to two beers and bad appetizers. We expected the sliders to be good, they weren't. All were overcooked, dry, and lacking flavor. The fries were horrible - slimy with grease and raw in the middle. These were literally the worst fries we have ever eaten anywhere. Had to update this review after reading what MK had to say. We had the same experience with the owner. He asked us how the food was, and when we told him the sliders were overcooked he got really defensive, and then said, "well, aside from the sliders, was everything else great?" We're thinking, "Dude, is you CRAZY? If we were rating this joint solely on its ability to bring a $6 can of beer to our table, it would deserve 5 stars. But, silly us, we think that the sliders should be edible, at a restaurant named "Sliders." Absent a a dramatic overhaul, the only way this place can possibly survive is by serving food to soon-to-be disappointed tourists who don't want to wait for a table at Soulshine next door.

We were staying down the street from the slider house and stumbled on this great place! We went one night for drinks and to listen to live music. They have an amazing happy hour! The next night we went for dinner and drinks. Their sliders were amazing!! The southern comfort slider was delicious! Our waiter was so nice and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place!

Cute lil place. I like that its open late. The sliders are delicious. I tried one that had chili on it and a chicken sriracha and honey one. The prices were good too. Its just enough food after a night of drinking. Get a beer while you are there. They come in cans and you get a free koozy.

How can I even explain how much I love this place?! Great drinks at reasonable prices. Great atmosphere and nice place to get away from the tourist traps of Nashville. Great sliders at reasonable prices and you can't leave without trying the fried pickles, hot and spicy! Aaron and Cory are fantastic knowledgeable bartenders, and Grace is a great addition to the wait staff. Will not forget to mention the chefs in the kitchen, find Sterling and talk with him for a bit. You'll leave with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. This will be my go to Nashville local joint. If you want snobby go down the block, if you want good food and great service. Find the Slider House!

If there was BBQ sauce on my slider I couldn't taste it, and I am not one for hot things. Beer is server in cans and was overpriced compared to bars within walking distance. Small portioned meals which is nice for a quick snack. You can get one slider for $4 or so.

We were in the neighborhood, so we decided to give the Slider House a shot. They have a pretty good beer list(all cans), but it seemed like they were out of all the ones we wanted to try, but they were quick to offer alternatives, so it wasn't so bad. I'm guessing this is just a growing pain that they'll have fixed in the future. We started off with the fried pickles instagram.com/p/bNBJjkt1… , which were a little greasy, but still fairly crispy and very well seasoned. I'd order them again, especially after a few more brews. As far as the sliders go, I decided to go with the Blue Jack(blue jack cheese and bacon), Muchacho(habanero cheese, jalapenos, pico and guac) and the Shot Gun(house chili, slaw and cheddar) instagram.com/p/bNBZbJt1… . The common theme of the sliders were, good but not enough beef. I know exactly what a slider is, but the meat to bun ratio was off. The bun, although very good(from Provence), over shadowed the actual burger. That's an easy fix, size the burgers up a little. The burger themselves could stand to be cooked a little less, but they were seasoned well. The toppings, for the most part were very good. My only real beef(get it?) was that there was no guac on my Muchacho, but I'm not a complainer though, so I let it.....slide. We also, ordered some fries and they were cooked perfectly. The service was great here, our server was very nice and the bartender knew what was up. We'll give them another shot once they've been open a little longer. It's a really cool place, so I hope for the best.

I love the arbitrary late night menu. One night it starts at 1am, the night night it's at midnight. Set a time that is displayed.

This place has so much potential to be great. They fell short on timeliness. My friends and I stopped here before midnight on a Saturday. It wasn't packed yet so I didn't understand why it took half an hour to cook a few sliders. This place has large tvs for sports fans and it has a hip vibe, but if they can't get food out at a decent time, I definitely would not recommend this place.

I decided to take you up on a 50% discount offer and I was not disappointed by the food! I was however disappointed in your shoddy service. We were rushed out and also told by holding our tab open we were "in the way". Then I surprisingly saw our bartender who was too busy to deal with us stand at the corner of the bar doing absolutely nothing for the remainder of our stay. After our pre discount total was pointed out to us (yes i can do math), i tipped accordingly. Not all your customers are bad tippers. Third time with terrible service. If you fix that, your food is worth coming back for. I left this exact review on your Facebook page as well....I felt that strongly about it.

I recently visited The Slider House at the end of a long Saturday night out, looking for a snack before heading home. Service was prompt, if a bit forgetful. Food was fine--I had the King Pin beef slider, in an effort to keep things simple. The Old Hickory was a more indulgent treat. I'd like to see turkey or other non-red meat items on the menu. Fried pickles weren't the best that I've tried in Nashville, but they hit the spot. Prices are a bit steep, so I might wait until lunch one day to try more of the menu items. Beer selection was decent, but also expensive. I wasn't aware of the charitable can recycling program, but I appreciate any effort to share resources with the local community. That said, something happened at Slider House that night that I hadn't experienced before or since: in-restaurant panhandling. By two different people! Both women approached separately, carrying black binders supposedly outlining information regarding the causes they were fundraising for. When I politely declined, one woman pleaded, saying that the cause was for "needy children." I was always under the impression that in-store table-to-table panhandling was illegal. The fact that this happened twice in less than an hour suggested that TSH employees were aware. I choose to contribute charitably to organizations on my own time, after making informed decisions. I feel extremely uncomfortable being asked to donate further, on top of my dining check, to an organization I know very little about, especially by someone who is not an employee of the establishment. TSH has a great opportunity to connect with the community and be transparent about the results of their recycling profits being donated to local organizations. Permitting panhandlers/fundraisers to approach tables within the store is not a professional means to establish support for the community. For the time being, I'll likely steer clear of TSH, considering first other nearby options with fewer opportunities for uncomfortable interactions.

The food and atmosphere was fine, but the service we received was unacceptable. Our waitress was extremely rude and didn't have any knowledge of the menu. She raised her voice and was extremely unprofessional. The manager was not much help himself, either. I would go back for the food, but the service doesn't merit a return trip.

Food is just okay. Sliders were fine but the calamari was an item they should take off the menu permanently because it was just awful. The waiter did his job but was a bit of a jerk. Pros..cheap beer

I had eaten here once before, the food was average. This time the 1st sign that things were amiss was when our waitress comes back to verify we ordered a coke and a diet coke... Then about 20 minutes after we order she asks if we ordered already... I walked out 30 minutes after ordering. (They were not busy at all.)

Slider House is a newer place to the midtown area of Nashville. Seeing as my husband and I live downtown, we quickly seized the opportunity to try it out! We loved the neighboring SoulShine so why wouldn't we like Slider House too? All in all, the place is yummy! The sliders are great and, in my opinion priced well for the fact that they use good ingredients and local pricey bread. The beer selection was beyond fabulous, all in cans, which was pretty neat. I ordered the Old Hickory and Southern Comfort based on my server's recommendation - which were both spot on. We especially loved the sweet potato fries with the horseradish cream sauce. I would like to see more slider options. I was a little bummed to see only 13 slider variations (not counting the hot dogs). If you are going to be called a Slider House then go nuts with the types of sliders, we don't mind! We saw several large and small groups walk in the front door, glance at the menu and walk back out murmuring about the lack of variety. I gave them dirty looks for you, Slider House... don't worry. :) Décor was fun... the tables are made out of the old bowling lanes from ML Rose Lanes. Loved that! While we overall really liked Slider House, I can see where the other reviewers are coming from. The service, while friendly, is very relaxed and none-too-speedy. It feels almost as if you've walked into a bar that serves food, instead of the other way around. If they beef up the service a bit, they could be a staple in Midtown. We'll definitely be back - you should go too!

I have been here only once but will most probably never go back. I ordered the lunch special with two sliders and fries. The sliders were dry and the patties got lost in the bun. The fries were very greasy and did not taste right. The order arrived very late and looking at the kitchen area, it seemed like nobody in the kitchen area knew what they were doing. This is despite the fact that there were customers on only a few tables. I don't want to imagine the wait and the chaos in the kitchen if they had to prepare many orders. I am not sure how this place will survive in a location where there are are other restaurants that excel at service and food offering. One thing I liked was the outside seating at the entrance and open seating in the upstairs. The other positive was that the owner of the place came and asked us about feedback on our experience but unfortunately he seemed uninterested in what we had to say about our experience. As we were pointing to the things that we did not like, he kept saying .."but otherwise everything was good?" .. he just did not want to accept that we were not happy. He pointed to the fact that they just opened the place and it was their first week and they are figuring out how to run the place smooth etc. which made me feel worse because i felt like a test subject.

I've been to Sliders a couple time for lunch, since it's located close to my office. I've tried the Southern Comfort (fried chicken with Sriracha glaze) and the Old Hickory (bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). The meat on both is amazing, obviously homemade and fresh. The chicken is really nicely breaded and juicy, and the burger was very juicy as well. I could use a little more taste from the toppings on both, though. I couldn't really taste the Sriracha Sauce on Southern Comfort at all, and the BBQ sauce on the burger was very mild and hard to taste as well. The bacon is delicious. For sides I tried french fries (nothing special, skip these) and the fried pickles (I really liked these, not greasy at all and with a good pickle flavor). The first time I went service was very slow (took probably an hour and 15 minutes for us to eat, which is a problem with an hour lunch break). The second time service was much faster and our server was much friendlier. Seems like they are ironing out the kinks and turning into a great lunch or late night spot.

We got a card for a free bucket of beers from NSL for the Slider House. Went there to check it out planning on having some food with the post-game beers. The bar manager took the card we had just gotten and tore it up claiming that it had been altered. He was very rude when we asked about what was wrong. Needless to say we didn't stay much longer. This was the rudest experience I have ever had at a bar or restaurant in Nashville.

Pretty much a basic place. They offer sliders and beer. Not too much excitement here. I don't see this midtown establishment prospering in the near future. There are too any other better options in this area. The cool thing about this place is they serve beer in a can with a koozie

Dropped in for a late dinner and we weren't disappointed. My favorite was the fancy grilled cheese, yum, goat cheese. The sweet potatoe fries were pretty standard. The staff was perfectly friendly and helpful.

Ok I mean it's not gourmet but they have good sliders, incredible fried pickles and the bartenders are really nice. When your other options in the area are places like chuys (not that I'm hating on it, chuy's is fine), I don't know why you'd complain about a decent slider with fries and fried pickles!!

When we went on a Saturday night for my friends bday, the restaurant was packed! The beer selection is extensive...a few gluten free beers to chose from. My sliders were good...but...I wouldn't make a special trip all the way to midtown for these burgers. This place is mostly about the atmosphere, location and the fact that they serve real food until 3 am! So if you are in midtown and starving for a slider, check it but don't expect to be blown away.

Nice casual place to stop for a good craft beer can and a few sliders or appetizers. The Frito chili pie appetizer is great. Our bartender Chuck was very attentive and informative about things in the area. You're welcome.

My favorite place to eat in Nashville- they have the best burgers- and they are the perfect size to get 2 and try a couple different things. Their caprese salad is also beyond delicious surprisingly! It is a must to try in Nashville- also the atmosphere is super cool and if you get a beer you get a fun cuzzie too! If you haven't tried it - you are missing out!

I stopped by at noon for sliders and frys, they said they are out of frys or such. Sliders tasted like it was spoiled meat n not worth my time.

Great place to catch a game, cheap drinks and tasty food. The sliders were a lot better than I would have guessed...but the drinks! $2.50 for Abita?? Great deal, and just had a fun time here. Recommended for a night of drinking and catching a game.

  • Crystal P.

Sadly this place has the potential to be amazing, yet it greatly under performs. Sliders are good, yet way overpriced. The fries leave little to desire, and the fried pickles are good, but standard. They advertise a drink that kills the bushwhacker, but the drink is horrible and nothing like a bushwhacker. All in all this place needs to reassess its priorities and what it strives to be, then maybe it would be a cool hang.

I'm gonna agree with a few other reviews. Great idea, great location but prices are a bit much for what ya get. 2 for 5 would be great but prices start at like 3.50 and up. The dog sliders are just small chunks of hot dogs on a tiny bun. Nothing special and still kinda expensive. Service the couple of times I have been was great, very attentive and genuinely nice. Not a huge fan of beer in a can to be honest but hey it does come with a free koozie :) So all in all not too bad just a little pricey for what it is.

I hate to give a poor review, but I don't want anyone caught off guard like I was! We were charged $42 for 2 sliders, 2 belvedere (single) drinks, and a beer. The server was friendly and the sliders were good (but at $4 apiece, you aren't getting a lot for your money). Just a heads up!

While the food was tasty and the sliders were fine, as a whole, the experience lacked too much to warrant a return. First, we were the only ones in the place at the beginning of the turn of service. The waiter was prompt (since he was sitting with the rest of the wait staff two tables over doing napkins). All drinks are through the bar which made his drink return a tad slow (this structure might cause them to slow down if every waiter has to deal with a bartender just to get fountain drinks). The food was slow once ordered. The pork slider was great as were the BBQ burger and jerk chicken slider. The fries were fair (the sweet potato wedges were uninspired and slightly soggy with grease). Oh, and our waiter, he delivered the food and that was the last we saw of him. No refills on drinks and one of the other wait staff had to get our checks. He, by that time, was with a party of people leaving us to our own devices. The upside is that he had another table. Now, on taste alone, I would give it three and half stars. The prices are a bit too high. The service was mediocre at best. The kitchen was slow. As for the wait staff, as I watched my waiter masticate on gum throughout the service, I figured it was just in line with the place (not too swift...). At least the rest of the wait staff kept themselves busy idling about chatting. Ultimately, if you decide to go, know that it won't be great and it will be a bit slow. The sliders may make up for the experience and hopefully the company that you keep.

And they wonder why they get terrible reviews. Their menu says one thing ($8.99 for 2 sliders and a side), but they retract that offer at random times during the night. #falseadvertising

I visited The Slider House last week and thought it was great. I had friends in from out of town and we wanted some good food after a night of drinking. We got to Slider House at about 2:35am (after walking of course) and the staff was kind enough to let us order even though they were pretty close to closing. We ordered the King Pin (or the basic burger) and I thought it was great. Cooked just right and the flavor was good. One of my friends, a self declared burger snob, thought they were great as well. She will throw a burger away after the first bite if she doesn't like it and I have seen her try a lot of burgers. Anyway, I would love to go back sometime and try some of the other types.

  • Jeff L.

This may just be the best burger I've had in Nashville. The Slider House would receive a perfect 5 stars if they weren't out of so many beers after only being open for 4 days and their beer prices weren't so high ($6 for a very average can of beer), but as far as burgers go, it doesn't get any better than this.

  • M C.

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Currently waiting on our food for over an hour for a few sliders and one side of fries. Seriously how long does it take to make some sliders? There are some really dumb people that work here. Definitely will not be returning. Avoid at all cost

Excellent food, good service and smart drinks. Mezcal Mule rocks here. Been 2 days now, both times have been great!

The shots here are great... the ambience interesting. The food here is rather disappointing. Yes they have interesting names like Bay of Pigs and Southern Comfort (and I been here twice). But the sliders here just simply taste greasy and overly salty. The feel is a bit weird because it is schizo between a sports bar, trendy slider joint, and down home dining establishment with rock music playing in the background. Great for drink dining... but not much else

  • Kurt N.

Coozy covered up that the bartender gave me the wrong beer which I could forgive on its own. But then kept the same pair of gloves on to cut jalepenos while also handling cash, cards, beer, food and checks, defeating the point. Add a bonus liquor law violation of putting those same jalepenos in a vodka carafe and taking them out later, and I'm not ordering food like I had planned. When I closed out, he had rung up the wrong beer and was very terse about it. Addendum: he then broke a glass on top of a bunch of clean glasses and barely cleaned up.

I used to absolutely love this place. Until I saw their limited menu...all of my favorite sliders are gone! I don't understand why they thought this was a good idea. Bring back the dude!!

  • Mindy J.

I'm only giving it 3 stars because it just wasn't what I was hoping it would be. I've been wanting to try this place for months now, but I'm thinking it was based off an entirely different menu I saw.... But what I will say about what we did try- which was all 8 of the sliders they do still offer, they were pretty good for the most part. (And they let me get all the onions for each on the side for my BF, because i can't eat them) I'll start with... *the All American- Your 'basic cheeseburger' Juicy little patty, seasoned well, with nice crunchy lettuce & tomato and some type of aioli. 3 out of 5 stars *the Jack FM- same patty, but with a cheese sauce that there just wasn't enough of, but i liked what i did taste, BBQ sauce, bacon, & carmalized onion. 3 out of 5 stars *the Nashville Hot Chicken- fried chicken breast in a decently spicy sauce (kind of like a buffalo) cole slaw- (way too much on ours) and pickle. 2 out of 5 stars- (just not my fave) *Chicken Calirado- Grilled chicken (which ours was a pathetic excuse- looked like a mangled little chicken strip) which is supposed to have all these different toppings like avacodo and cucumber, etc,... all I tasted was the small piece of chicken i got and bread- but i will say the seasoning on what little chicken there was, was good 1 out of 5 stars *Southern Comfort - Fried Chicken, Tomato, Sriracha Honey sauce- Actually pretty good 4 out of 5 stars *The Texican- Beef & Chorizo Patty, Avocado, Roasted Jalapeno, some kind of smoky sauce- too much jalapeno for my liking, and no avacado came on it, but this was by far my favorite patty. Very flavorful- already planning to make my own version soon 4 out of 5 stars *Bay of Pigs- Smoked Pork Tenderloin, Swiss, Country Ham, Pickle, Dijon.... Could not even eat this one. The Pork was the toughest piece of meat I've ever tried in my life, and there was a huge piece of fat around the entire side. Totally gross. Ham was good, though, I'll at least give it that. 1 out of 5 stars and Last, but not least- *Skinny Jean- Black Bean Patty, Beer Cheese, Avocado, Jalapeno Aioli, Roma Tomato....... I was really surprised at how much I liked this actually. My BF hated it, but besides the Texican, this was my favorite one. It was like crunchy refried beans with a gooey cheese on top. Really good. 5 out of 5 stars So there you have it folks... Just one chiks opinion out of many,... But I probably wouldn't be back since I don't live close.

I have been to Slider House a few times now. To give perspective, I drove down for lunch from Hendersonville because I was craving it. For the price versus quality of service and food, slider house is where it is at. I am from Illinois originally (home of the slider) and this place has the best I have had. Wonderful flavor and great selection. The beer selection is awesome. For a beer nerd especially. Great job and looking forward to another location here in Nashville.

this was a pretty neat and unique joint. The probably had about 10 different types of sliders and you could order multiples at a time. One of the three I tried out I didn't like, but I loved the other two. This place is right off the Vandy campus.. so there's a huge college following and hangout

I love Slider House! Fresh, delicious food and an unbeatable happy hour. I highly recommend trying the texican slider & the chicken calirado slider with sweet potato fries. That is my go-to order, unless it's taco Tuesday- then I get whatever their taco specials are (which are all amazing!). They have an outside patio where you can bring your dogs too! The waitstaff and bartenders are all very friendly. Every time I bring my blue heeler, they give her a bowl of water and a few bits of bacon. Love how dog friendly this spot is. Slider House is definitely my favorite place to go in midtown.

Set the scene: You are hungry after 10 PM and considering a Chik-fil-a stop. DON'T DO IT!!! Late night (10:30PM): Holy cow, this place exceeds all expectations. Hot chicken and Chicken Colirado are AMAZING. I can't give this enough stars for a post-10 PM spot. Do it....so good...food coma...#HolyFuquinSchmidt

First time here today. Nice play, plenty of tvs for the games. Food was very good. I had the fried pork chop with fried egg and cheese slider, as well as the hot chicken slider. Both were delicious, hot chicken was a bit hot. Good service. I will be back!

What a great concept. Wish we had one of these in St. Louis. Simple menu and well executed. Great varieties of burger and chicken sliders. Even a couple of vegetarian options. They showed a lot of creativity in their offerings. I liked how they served their beers in 16 oz cans in a koosie. The waiter was great. Sat down at our table and explained the menu and made some great suggestions. He also was a good ambassador for the city and offered a lot of great things to see.

Three of us went to The Slider House tonight. We all ordered water and the Nashville Scene Burger Week special, that's it. It wasn't too busy, there were several empty tables. The waitress somehow screwed up our order (it's the special, how do you get it wrong?!). It took three of us over 40 minutes to be served, our food was cold and the burgers were WAY overcooked. Thumbs down for this place, I won't go back there again. The burger was really good though (for being extra well done) which was sad because the service was awful.

This place was quite a satisfying, low key slider joint. I half expected lower quality since it is in the heart of the drinking district, but it was quite good. Sliders were tasty, fries were perfect. Two sliders and fries for $9 isn't half bad. It looked like a nice place for some drinks as well, but we didn't partake. It was a slow Sunday afternoon while we were there, which was nice for us. I imaging it gets jam packed on weekend nights. Open air, enough tv's. All around great, low key, spot.

I probably would not go back here. I had high hopes for this place being that it was all about sliders! Who doesn't love sliders? Especially when you can order all kinds of different ones. Lunch special prices here aren't too bad. I honestly don't remember which ones I ordered. The fries were good. I liked the sauce I ordered on the side. The sliders were so Blah. Even with the toppings. I don't know if they weren't seasoned well or what. Service was good. Sitting at the bar was nice. But yeah, probably won't go back.

Our waitress was a very unpleasant person. She provided service in a timely manner but her attitude was awful. When we sat down for lunch we tried to make conversation and were having fun with some silly jokes (not about her in any way), I don't know if she didn't understand our humor or had a bad morning but she wasn't having it. At one point toward the end of the meal she did attempt to make conversation and ask where we were from but then she proceeded to openly insult us. I wish I remembered what she looked like so I could help others steer clear. Other than our poor service the overall experience was fine. I wanted the stuff that came on the skinny jean (who doesn't love queso?) but unfortunately they wouldn't swap out the bean patty for beef. I stuck with the burger anyway and was pleasantly surprised by the veggie patties, they were very crispy and pretty spicy, a little more queso would have made it a very good burger but it was ok as is. After eating we stuck around to play darts and switched to ordering drinks from the bartender which went much better. Overall I think this place is fine and it worked well for our group of picky eaters and heavy drinkers but with so many other places around I wouldn't go back again.

I've been here on a couple of occasions. Both times, the wait was ridiculous--and not because there was a line. The second time, by the time we were seated (nearly 10 minutes after arriving, around 1:30-2 p.m. on a weekday, well after the lunch rush), wait staff were milling around, talking to people they knew--seemingly unaware that we'd been seated and waiting to be approached. After about 5 minutes of sitting, we were brought water. We waited TEN more minutes before finally leaving. I'm really disappointed as I work near this place, and the one time I actually had their food, it was enjoyable. It's clear that they cater to their college-aged public who don't have much more to balance outside of class and social lives. We will not be returning, and frankly, I'm surprised they're still open.

I was sad to see this place had changed. We haven't been for a while -it was yummy and a cool place to hang. But today our visit found a menu of half of what it used to be. They took away my favs -the dude and the black and blue are gone :( what we did have was just ok. And the cool posters were taken down. Our server was great! But the character of the place is gone. Not sure we will be back any time soon. The owners wife needs to stick to being a soccer mom and let the cool people run the joint.

Here is the deal. Super friendly bar tender, genuinely concerned about our experience and knew his beer. Food was awesome! Not drunk awesome but really good stuff. Good vibe, clean and we threw some darts. I had a good time here and I would suggest stopping by for a beer. Maybe not an all night hang out but definitely worth a stop by!!!

Man...I really hate to do this. We used to love slider house! The food was always great, we always enjoyed our service, and the beer selection was (and to its credit, still is) on point. But how can you call yourself "The Slider House" when your variety of sliders is limited to 8? All of my favorites are gone! We came tonight to eat dinner and have some drinks and ended up just having a drink and some cheese dip and going to eat a full meal elsewhere. ***Our service, is still wonderful. If you want a place to chill out with good drinks, good service, and good friends you will find it here (and for that I give it three stars)!*** But if you're looking for sliders, you may end up disappointed. Bring back that awesome menu and the other two stars will be released! Until then we will likely not be back unless we are already out and just looking for beer.

This was my third visit. They did all of the right things with the location and concept. I ordered three apps and they were no better than the leading fast food chain. The price was right during happy hour, but the calamari was awful and they had the worst wings I've ever had. They have a good canned beer selection and a huge golden tee. The only reasons I would go.

As promised, I tried The Slider House again. Turns out it sucks. Sorry to say, I obviously had high hopes for this place, but now I think they need to get out while they still can. How about this.. I'll try to help them out. #1. Learn how to make french fries. Yours are terrible. It's not hard. Carnies can do it in a 6x6 trailer in the middle of a fairground. You've got a million dollar joint and can't come close. #2. Learn how to cook burgers and bake buns. Because both of yours are terrible. #3. learn how to expedite. There is no good reason to have to wait an hour for 2 tiny and terrible sliders. You've lost your mind. #4. Go to work at Waffle House. They will teach how how to cook food properly and in a very timely manner with great consistency. You'll either learn or die in a fire.

Slider House is a fantastic spot for satisfying late night urges, and I have no complaints. A good honest beer and delicious burgers. HOWEVER, this place needs to bring back the fried bologna slider and chili dog slider. Whoever changed the menu suffered an error in judgement.

The name of course says it all. You can order from a variety of different slider burgers which are small White Castle size buns but packed with thick meat, toppings, and lots of flavor and texture. Cool hang out spot and great food.

Let's be honest, opening a burger joint in Midtown that's open until 3am was a brilliant idea. Opening it within the always-popular Soulshine Pizza complex was also quite smart. Located centrally to all the great bars of Midtown you are pretty much guaranteed a steady clientele of people needing something to soak up the booze. It kind of reminds me of a shack, which is not an insult. Its a place to come sit for buckets of beer, burgers, and fries, so really you don't need much pomp and circumstance to accomplish that. They have a variety of fun sliders and so you can indulge whatever combo you want to try. They have options for vegetarians and people who may not be into beef as well. It can get really crowded in here so be aware of that, as sometimes service suffers a bit. However, I do recommend the Jack slider, which has mac and cheese on it, if you're feeling like eating very guilty. They also have great non-burger apps. And I can honestly say that, on those lovely afternoons where Soulshine is packed, sitting outside Slider House allows you to indulge in burgers AND here the music on the upstairs patio. Sneaky for the win!

  • Sheena T.

Damnit Slider House. For late night food on a night out, you are pretty darn tasty. Upon entering you are greeted with the smell of deep fried things and burgers being cooked. It's quite irresistible. I have tried a few items from the menu; the smoke N swine with pork loin, The Dude, a burger with some lovely mushroom toppings, and the muchacho. I definitely liked the muchcacho best with the peppers and more Mexican style burger. The pork loin is definitely good but is quite rich if that makes any sense... As for sides/additions, I had the bruschetta and fried gherkin chips and would definitely recommend the chips as a side. I really really love them. mmmm. My biggest complaint is that I feel the price range of $3.00-$4.25 is a bit steep for ONE slider (NO sides) considering they are um. Sliders and tiny. But most of them are fancified with toppings and nice cheeses. I guess that justifies it? But for me paying around $12.00 for two sliders and fries seems a tiny bit expensive. Also, they serve food until 3am, so as an alternative to a street vendor hot dog on Division, I say take it friends!

  • Kelsey R.

We met some friends here last night for dinner and drinks. They only serve beer, which is fine for me most nights, but it is unfortunate if you aren't in the mood for beer, or don't like it. I ordered the hot chicken slider (yum) and the skinny jean slider (black bean burger). I liked both, however my fiancé ordered 2 types of beef sliders and was underwhelmed. He says it was more bun than meat. I skipped the fries and instead upgraded to a side salad. I was pleasantly surprised with what I received- including carrots and cucumbers. (I hate paying extra for a side salad and then receiving a bowl of boring ice berg lettuce). I requested "no onions" and received my order as requested. Otherwise, the service was rather slow and the food took a long time to arrive. Also, they had live music which was enjoyable, but did make it too loud for comfortable conversation. Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend coming back if you are looking to catch up with friends, however I would come back with just my fiancé if we were looking for a low- key evening.

My first visit and my last visit! I stopped by for a late night drink after my high school reunion. The place has plenty of beers to choose from. I decided to go with Old Chub which was $8. At the time I ordered the beer it was last call. My friend and I took a seat outside and within 15 minutes an employee walked up and tried to grab the beer out of my hand. He said I had to give him the beer. I said "Ok, can I at least finish it?" He said, very rudely, NO! I said to him, I just bought this for $8 15 minutes ago and you're telling me I can't finish this off quickly. There are other tables you can grab beers from and come back. The response, "NO! I'm taking your beer now." Then he proceeded to grab it out of my hand. I have NEVER been treated so poorly or had someone snag a beer out of my hand. If they take drinks away 15 minutes after last call, they need to tell you that when you are ordering and no one should ever grab something out of your hand.

I am kind of torn on what to give this place. I'm going to be generous and go with 3 stars because we may have overwhelmed them with our large Yelper after-party group. First, the food. Fried pickles were just standard. They aren't going to blow your mind but they will at least soak up some booze. The sliders sounded pretty good and you can mix/match. I got just a regular slider and the smoke and swine (pork with gouda). They were OK. They didn't blow my mind, but they are perfectly suitable for late night snacking. In my mind I wanted it to be more like the Green Dot Stables that I went to in Detroit (creative and delicious sliders and crafty cocktails) but what I got was less well executed. Perhaps they are working it out. Service was ok. Our waitress didn't appear to know the burgers very well and got mine and another person's mixed up and took them away twice to switch them. Since he doesn't eat pork that was a pretty important thing to get right. She was super concerned about it though so that was good. She managed to keep us with drinks despite the fact that we may have overwhelmed her on what I bet was usually a slow night. Overall it is a good concept that is lacking some in execution. But if you are in midtown and you are super hungry and too drunk to really care then this is the place for you. Plus you don't have to take that embarrassing cab right through the Krystal drive through....not that I have ever done that...noooo....

Unlike other Yelpers, I did not experience a line or a wait. We went right after work on a Tuesday. I really enjoyed my food here, however the service was AWFUL. Our waitress had no knowledge of their specials offered and got frustrated if we asked any questions. After giving up and just choosing PBR, she tried to hurry us out of the restaurant before many of us were finished with our food. She even took a plate away as one of my friends still had their hand on it reaching to eat. The food was tasty but I don't like being hurried. I probably won't go back for awhile.

Quite underwhelmed with any beef slider. The chicken sliders were OK, but not memorable. The bloody Mary's only came with one piece of celery??? (Except the table next to us received theirs loaded although there is no variation on the menu.) When I asked the waiter, he didn't have an explanation except for... "Huh" and a smile. Not humorous when I pay for the same thing but receive less. Not going back.

I would probably never choose to go here, but after the Elite Yelpers decided to move the Award party to this place, we obliged. Large and spacious, great beer selection that comes with a complimentary koozie- that's about where the goodness ended for me. Back in college, this would have been a great late night spot, but as my palate has matured, it's not what I would choose to waste calories on. Started with the fried pickles- a bit salty, just ok. Had several sliders, the best one being the black bean burger. Although they offered inventive combinations of sliders, there was too much bun and not enough burger, and the burger was dry and flavorless. I would consider this a decent late night drinking spot, but I'd choose the Krystal drive thru to soak up the alcohol over this joint.
