Probably one of the tastier Subways. I know they're a chain and all, but it seems like they sprinkle a little bit of crack into the bread at this one, luckily they have a scale next to the soda to remind you that just because it's theoretically healthier, that you cant put 15 meatballs on a sub and call it diet health food. The main thing I despise about this location is the parking and subsequent exiting during any sort of busy time... you end up blocked in in a worse case by gridlock, and in a best case you're stuck waiting forever for a traffic light to turn if you need to go left. These, however, are not things that I think Subway can do much about unless they complain to someone loudly. Place has always been clean when I've been, and I get the sense from people leaving car keys, wallets, phones, etc laying about that there's either some sort of trust in the employees and people there, or it's an elaborate sting operation being conducted by Metro PD to bust sub shop thieves. For a while this was one of the places you could get a foot long veggie max for $5, sadly this is not to be any more... I dig it

This is unlike any Subway you have every been to. It is more like a New York deli. It gets packed at lunch time and the five people behind the counter are each characters with great individual personalities. I love being able to read one of the many magazines they have available. There is enough seating for over 60 people, which sounds crazy, but I actually saw it totaly full one time. There is a reason so many people come to this subway, and it is the great people who work there. I love hearing "next order please" yelled to me when I am still six people away from the counter, because that high-strung skinny guy just has to be as many sandwiches ahead as possible. The middle three people on the line work well together to move orders along at a rapid pace. The mellow young guy at the register rounds out the group, and asks me how I'm doing in a way that makes me feel like he actually cares. I recommend coming here at the busiest time possible to get the real feel for the place, otherwise you may walk away thinking it was just another Subway.

My favorite subway. Franchiese owner is a nice Indian guy. The sandwich makers are fast, especially the skinny new guy. This special Melrose Berry Hill area Subway also puts out todays newspapers and mags to make you want to eat and sit a spell.

I am NOT a believer that all Subways are created equal. This has been one of my favorite locations for many years, mainly for two reasons: 1. They have stocked salt n' vinegar potato chips loooong before the rest of the sub shops caught onto the movement. (Although, they used to hide them behind the counter, so you had to be in-the-know and ask for them.) 2. There is one employee that has been working there for...gosh...quite some time now. Look, he's not "Mr. Personality", as he may come across as abrupt, but this dude is tha-bomb-dot-com at making your sandwich in a jiffy. That guy wastes NO time, yet makes a perfect sandwich EVERY time. Brilliant. Yeah, you regs know EXACTLY which guy I'm talking about. I finally told him today that I do believe he is the best sandwich maker in the entire company. I actually got a smile outta him. In addition to my points listed above, this location has always been clean, and is fairly large with plenty of seating if you're wanting to dine in. One star lost because I would love to have my favorite chip flavor in kettle-style, but primarily because maneuvering into and out of their parking lot is a nightmare. Tip: Beat the work-week lunch crowd by arriving promptly at 11am or anytime after 1pm.

I am beginning to think that SUBWAY sandwich shoppes are JUST NOT FOR ME..I just got off work and my hubby and daughter pick me up. We were taking her to work. I got off at 4 and she had to be there by 5pm. We had some time to kill, about 20 -25 minutes and there was Subway.. Now normally I shy away from them..I am just not a big Subway fan..I love sandwiches and hoagies don't get me wrong...love love love the sammie's there but JUST NOT having luck with Subway's here in Nashville.. The gentleman's english behind the counter was NOT THAT CLEAR..plus he was trying to hurry me up..I was ordering 3 6inch subs..and he just kept pushing me pushing me...its not like there was a line out the door or something, there was no one else at the counter...What the Hell???? Anyway, I was so pissed I didn't even order anything to drink. I just wanted away from the counter..if we didn't need to eat before dropping her off..i would have left and told him to get ....well you feel in the blank.. No more subway for me!!! No more subway for me !!!

They knew the soda machine was down. They should have posted this on the door or on the menu board. They didn't. They waited until I waited in a long line, ordered my COMBO, which includes sandwich, chips, AND DRINK. Then the manager at the register told me the drink machine was not working and for me to get a bottled drink out of the nearby cooler instead. He then charged me over a dollar more than the combo price. I said, so you are charging me more because of YOUR PROBLEM. He pointed to the items on the receipt and said yes. What they did to me is wrong and known as Bait and Switch Fraud. I hope that my extra dollar made their day, because they will never see me again. To top it off, Subway ignored my email regarding this incident. Well, I hope they are reading this and know how I have switched to Jersey Mike's, forever.
