I enjoy frequenting this Starbucks...when I feel that I've given myself enough time before work to go. It gets super busy in the mornings, even at 6:30. The baristas are always kind, and friendly customers! Sure parking is sparse, but this is Green Hills! Lots of space in this Starbucks if you're needing me time or meeting a colleague.

I like this Starbucks because it's fashioned to the feel and culture of Nashville. It's not uncommon to sit around here and hear musicians talking about an upcoming show or a recent recording session, which is pretty cool. From a more practical viewpoint, this Starbucks has tons of seating of all sorts, so you'll never have to scramble for a seat. If you like a little chatter and buzz, it's a good place to camp out and get work done. Not the best choice if you're sensitive to distractions, though. And the wi-fi is consistently reliable - also a win. Drinks ... It's a Starbucks. Drinks are $$, overpriced baked goods and sandwiches are $$$ ... But you knew that already.

Overall the staff is great and efficient. The downside is PARKING! there is none! Please Starbucks build a stand alone store in green hills. I've resorted to the starbucks in the Krogers to avoid the parking situation at this one.

Best coffee and really cool people but hard to find parking. P.S really good looking MILF.

Great service and the drinks are very consistent. The #1 thing I love about this location is they have more than enough outlets for anyone who needs to charge their laptops. They also have plenty of inside and outside tables, which I think is a plus. 2013/#30

Busy. Most of the baristas are really kind, quick, and do fine job. The place is packed with business folks and students taking care of chores. Others are hanging out and being friendly. This location even has a homeless people catching a few zzzzs on comfy chairs. The best part about this location is that you can see the rich and famous and those who think they are rich and famous. (Tip: the real rich and famous are kinder than the other.)

As far as Starbucks go, this cafe is a pretty solid one. If you are a Starbucks connoisseur, it will meet your standards with proper, steamed foam and friendly, underemployed recent college grads. I recommend the caramel macchiato or skinny vanilla latte.

After voting, I stopped by here when I realized I had just missed the bus. For a mid morning, the place was filled with students and business folks and the general public. Lots of table setups for laptop warriors in the back. A few couches and more comfortable seating up front. The aisles of product for sale were sort of narrow, compared to the other locations I've been to. They were really cumbersome to pass between and next to people in line as I tried to get to the napkins/sugar/condiments in the middle. Workers were quick. I didn't expect the woman doing inventory of the pastries to acknowledge me, since I don't care about that type of thing. She was too focused on her job to acknowledge me. The woman taking my order was quick, but I didn't get a friendly vibe from her, either. Unfortunately, my pastry was stale. And I was too busy catching the next bus to do anything about it. I'm glad I don't drive, as the woman trying to get out of the parking lot took several long minutes before she found it safe to do so.

I sometimes work late into the evening on my computer with returning emails, doing research, shopping and etc. I live within 2 blocks from this starbucks so sometimes I like to stop in for a cup of coffee to give me an extra jolt. I recently stopped in to get a cup of coffee and a croissant. I asked the attendant to please heat up my croissant for 10 seconds. She informed me that she already shut off the toaster because they sold all of their sandwiches so there was no need to keep it on. I asked her what time it was, she informed me it was not yet 9 pm. They close at 10 pm. I asked her if she had a microwave and she said no. There were still cakes in the display which means they may still sell them. I am confused of why they would shut off the toaster if they still had items to sell that the buyer may want to be heated up even though it's not a sandwich. Every time I go there, I always get a slice of pumpkin or banana bread or coffee cake to go with my coffee and they always ask me if I want it heated up and of course, I say yes. I don't guess I will be stopping in there later in the evening anymore if I can't have my food heated. I ended up eating my blueberry croissant cold which was not very good. Other than the complaint above, the staff is always pleasant and efficient.

Having spent some time in Ann Arbor Michigan in the 90s, I felt like I had been transported back to the early days there of the "Cool Kids at the Coffee House" This location is quite spacious with lots of seating. If you are looking for somewhere to hang out and drink coffee this is the place. It IS NOT however the place to pull through for a quit coffee fix, since it is lacking a drive-thru and shares parking with a nearby strip mall. And where else can you go and find a free copy of the New York Times to read in Nashville?

Don't be fooled! It *looks* like there's bad parking, but there's a huge lot behind & Starbucks has a handy staircase right up to the lovely back patio! Plenty of seating, nice staff, clean washrooms. It seems like there're no bistro boxes, though. But there are breakfast sandwiches. Also, if you're like me & always sad that Starbucks no longer has ATT Wifi (& therefore no Nintendo Zone), the FedEx next door has a Nintendo Zone! Perfection!

This place is always packed with people playing (or working) on their macs. Seriously, what is up with that. I'd feel completely left out if I bring my PC to this store. Besides that, the store is big and cozy. The barista ate nice and helpful. It's always been a pleasant experience when I buy coffee from here.

This is an awkward Starbucks. The parking really sucks. And the layout is just kind of weird. I'm not a fan of this location, but I would come here if I'm out shopping at the mall and need a refreshment afterwards.

Yes, I know, there is a Starbucks practically at every corner or major intersection. This one; however, is my go-to Starbucks on the way to work. Yes, it is packed every day. Yes, parking is a nightmare and getting back onto Hillsboro (especially since I have to make a left) can be a challenge. But it is a consistently decent cuppa joe and although it is busy, the line moves rather efficiently and quickly. There are days I don't feel hip enough to be in there and there are also days I seem to be the customer not wearing pajamas - but that's really neither here nor there - just an observation. Is Starbucks my favorite caffeine spot? No. But if certainly beats the office grind (pun most definitely intended).

I visit Starbucks perhaps once a month, so each time I go it, it's really exciting and a treat. Not so much with this location. It's arguably one of the largest Starbucks I've ever been in, but the parking is atrocious. The staff was friendly but incompetent. None of our drinks tasted like they should have tasted. Quite a disappointment on a cold, dreary day.

Man, I stop in this Starbucks by necessity and lack of other options, but it's just never convenient. The parking sucks, and the baristas are slower than most Starbucks. I like the space once I'm inside and have my drink, but overall this is not my favorite Starbucks in any way.

I stop by this place pretty much everyday on my way to work. Staff is very friendly, and they pretty much know me by name and what I like to order. Try the reserve coffees on the clover. 4 stars because as others mentioned, parking can be an issue...

This location sucks because of the parking. However, the store inside is pretty big. It looks very small from the outside.

Ok so I hate that my first ever review is about a chain, but here we are. Everything about this Starbucks is fantastic, except one important thing for me...the inter webs. I have come when it is busy and when it is slow and there internet connection always cuts in and out. This is important enough for me to give them 3 instead of 4 stars. If you want to chat with a friend or read a book, this is your place. If you need to get some major computer work done...pick another spot.

I avoid Starbucks like the plague... not because I am trying to be indie hipster cool but because there are just too many other fantastic coffee shop options in our fair city. If I am going to buy an expensive cup of coffee, tea, or plug up for a couple of hours somewhere, why not give my dollars to an independent business instead? That $4 will be go a lot farther in our community than at Starbucks.... In the same breath, this location was quick and friendly and is oversized. Their oatmeal was quite tasty when I took a bite too. I may visit Starbucks a handful times in any given year and I feel guilty every time.

3.5 stars - mostly only for shock value. Let me preface this by saying that I am not a fan of Starbucks. I think their coffee is over-caffeinated and often burnt, their espresso drinks lame at best, and everything over-priced. In fact, when I am trying to decide on a cafe to go to, Starbucks doesn't even make it to the list of options. However, I must admit that Starbucks is extremely convenient: they are everywhere and they are open late. So, when I needed to find a place to study late tonight, I decided to go to the Green Hills Starbucks for the first time in...maybe 2-1/2 years. So, I walked in tonight with my friend and I couldn't stop my jaw from dropping over and over again and the exclamation, "Wow," from coming out of my mouth. Why? Because the place has gotten an extreme makeover. It's probably to do with the whole new Starbucks branding/marketing goals. But, anyway, all of the furniture has been replaced with wooden counterparts and comfy couches. It has an entirely different feel: less commercial and more local and authentic. The gigantic study table with 20 electrical outlets has been replaced by benches on the wall, bar stools, and any other kind of seating you can imagine. And the outlets are now impossible to find because they have been painted the same exact brown as the wall, which led me to create an extremely awkward situation as I walked around the entire border of the room looking for a plug for my dying laptop. Despite an inspiring renovation of the entire atmosphere of the place, obviously, the quality of the drinks has not improved. Astonished by the new look, I inquired the barista about when they redid the place. To which she replied last year in February. Embarrassed, I chuckled, took my drink, and slowly walked away. Clearly, I am behind the times. Anyway, great new feel and atmosphere (this one is much more social) for Starbucks even though the drinks haven't changed. So, if you must resort to going to Starbucks, this is the one I would recommend.

I mean...this is your typical Starbucks. The people are friendly, the drinks are consistent, and there's lots of room to plant yourself if you're meeting a friend or trying to get some work done. What I don't like is the parking. Obviously, this isn't something they can really help, but it does deter me from visiting. There are SO many spaces, but with all the other businesses in the complex competing for spots, it's hard to find one during busy times. But, hey, if you're looking for a solid Starbucks experience, this is your place.

I like the set up of this Starbucks and it's usually full of people reading, studying, or chatting. It's location is convenient in that it's near the Green Hills Mall and shopping areas, but beware of the traffic to and from the place! Use the light to get out if you need to turn LEFT. Service: Speed (Good), Quality (Good) Taste: Green Tea Frap (really tasty)

I'm not a fan of Starbucks over all, except their Molasses cookies, which I can't find anywhere else. But, like Tart said, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, are. I've seen them both at this location as well as Bryan White and Ben Folds. And, if you're a studier, they do have a great back room with plenty of space that isn't really occupied. Overall, good for celeb spotting and gaining some knowledge.

I come here regularly before work. I enjoy the setting, even when it gets busy. But, the staff is inconsistent. There's one girl that works on Saturday mornings at 5, and every time, she makes me feel like I should leave. (REALLY short hair...) Doesn't say "good morning" or "hi" back... won't even look at me. I tried to engage in conversation once with her, "how are you?" and she scolded me for expecting her to put the honey in my coffee. No one ever told me, until that morning, that it was wrong and against health code. I certainly don't mind putting it in myself, but the honey packets aren't out for customers. She went off about how wrong it was to put the barista in that position... I just smiled and said that I would be happy to do it. However, all other baristas put the honey in. In fact, when I asked to put it in myself because of what she said, they laughed and said she's wrong. I would give this place 5 stars, except for the way she affects the environment.

Long and narrow room with lots of seating, it's very unpretentious from the front but once inside it's pretty large. And, Very busy! There 4 seating areas, lots of electrical outlets for laptops and lots of people there using them, seems to be a great place for study &/or business meetings. The spot lighting is comfortable without being too bright or dim. There is a rear deck with umbrella tables, chairs and - yes - plenty of smokers. An above average SB location, I give it 4 stars for the people watching on top of the usual amenities.

The big Green Hills Starbucks. Nashvillian Nicole Kidman has occasionally enjoyed the coffee here, when she's not helping hubby Keith Urban with his rehab. Other celebrities and regular folk enjoy sitting down for a drink of brew and some of Starbucks expensive desserts.

I go to a Starbucks store every day, and this one about once a week. My experiences at this store have been mixed, but occasionally shockingly bad. They have a couple of excellent employees, but most of the servers are indifferent at best and hostile at worst. This is the only Starbucks store I've ever been in where a server refused to correct a drink problem, turned her back and walked away. I recommend finding a different store.
