Love this hidden lunch spot. Great food, good service and nice atmosphere. I highly recommend the low and slow and either the chips or fries. Great spot!

Gave it try for the first time on Monday. I had the Korean BBQ Pork Taco's... they were a home run. There were so so yummy! My only complaint, Guys go buy a couple more table and chairs.... you have room in there. Will be back!!

Food was fair. I had a chicken salad sandwich. The chicken wasn't cut up very small, but it was still in the "alright-to-good" category. Be warned if you are using GPS to get here: You will be led to a non-descript office park. The restaurant is in the bottom corner of one of the office buildings. Just look for the logo pasted on one of the tinted windows. Also, note that they stop serving breakfast at 11.

This is a good lunch spot for the Marriott Drive business crowd. It's always pretty interesting to see the options they have on their "quick lunch" buffet bar and they seem to have some creative vegetable options every day. The quick lunch bar is the only option I've tried from here. it's not your usual simple southern lunch or anything and can serve as a solid solution for the business crowd. Personally, my favorite so far has been the fried chicken on a biscuit. This place does tend to offer heavier meals without much regard to healthy options. Pros: A bit more creative than your typical lunch spot on this side of town. The best thing about this place, in my opinion, are the sides and veggies. Cons: Freshness has been an issue. This was especially true on burger day the last time I went in. I just was not impressed by how long the burger was left out in the open. They should keep the bar refreshed a little more often. Overall: They offer flavorful, quick lunches every day from the team behind RIff's Food Truck. Check their Facebook and Twitter feed (Carlos from Riff's) to see if they post what their lunch is that day.

This place is only okay if you are in need of eats and there is no where else to go. The food tasted like reheated leftovers and did not taste fresh. The service was quick and friendly which is the only reason there are any stars here in my rating. I had the pork tacos and would not get them again.

This place is not only affordable but delicious and fresh. I had the bob Marley wrap and it was amazing! Hands down one of the best wraps I have ever had. The hand cut fries on the side were cooked to perfection. This little gem is in an office building and am a little jealous of everyone that works near by.

Solid place for lunch. And a MUCH needed addition to the desert of tasty lunch options that is the industrial park in and surrounding Elm Hill Pike. It was quite difficult to find out where the heck this cafe is located due to it being in a business complex jungle with poor signage and addresses. For anyone who is also lost...the building says "2" out front if that helps you. Also, I found it a bit odd that they were located where they were... Being off Elm Hill Pike would have a ton more visibility and convenience for people...but maybe they are just trying to cater to that one specific office complex? Once we parked we came inside to see what looked good. I tried the Korean BBQ tacos and the bahn mi pork sandwich with a side of tomato soup. It was a pricy lunch for what I normally spend on the rare occasion I go out but it was a ton of food and I was stuffed. I have to admit that the tacos were a TAD salty and had quite a bit of mayo on them, but the flavor was good and they were huge. I preferred the bahn mi sandwich. The soup was very tasty also, and I grabbed a soy latte for the road before we came back to work. All in all, I'm glad this spot is so convenient to me. They offer a half sandwich/soup option that is cheaper and I think I will try next time. Their dessert case is quite extensive as well. Next time I'll have to try one out before I get myself too full!

Just left here for lunch with three co-workers. Other than the one person that had the burger nobody was happy at all with their meal. I would not recommend this place. The burger was good but just your normal pan fried burger and a small one at that. Two of us had the "hot" chicken that was nothing more than an extremely overcooked large chicken tender with some average store bought spice blend and honey poured over it. For $9.00 they can't even give you a whole breast??There is too much REAL hot chicken in this town to have to eat something like this. Now for the sides. Their homemade chips were highly touted only to be nothing more than average. The macaroni and cheese looked great only to disappoint with little flavor. We won't be back.

Love riffs! Always new and exciting items and friendly staff. Way to go guys! I work next door and I no longer have a lunch hour while you are open but when I get a break I normally seek over for a baked treat or a lattee. The honey bee is my favorite latte. Sweet and spicy.

Had lunch there today, the menu has changed since I had last been there a few months back. My favorite menu item, Sick-em on a Chicken, was no longer listed. None of the other items were appealing so I went with the Bob Marley. It came in a wrap and was composed mostly of rice. There was very little chicken on it. I was pretty disappointed, especially for the cost of $8.00. I could have gotten something just as good at half the price at Taco Bell, such as the Fresco Burrito Supreme. I had the pasta salad as my side item. It was okay, a little heavy on the Parmesan though. Some other changes that I noticed on my visit was the absence of the coffee menu and dessert items. I did not inquire if they were still available or not. I used to enjoy going there, but I think I'll look around for a new specialty lunch location...mainly due to my lack of interest in their menu selections.

My first frustration with this Riff's place was trying to gain access: the first time I went, I found that it closed at 3pm. The second time, I got there before the closing time, but was told that none of the equipment was working, so they wouldn't be able to sell me anything. They didn't seem disappointed that they had ceased serving at least a half-hour early, and that lack of empathy really got under my skin. So, finally I made it back to the establishment today. On top of my frustrations of getting in, I found that Riff's is like Barista Parlour, and if you've read my review of the latter, that's not a compliment. They use Intelligensia coffee, and I'm not a huge fan of this brand. They are pretentious and they only chat with their buddies. The other thing about them is they don't stock enough food. I heard a guy say they ran out of hamburgers and soup. It was close to closing time, but they had neither left for the hapless customer. I was just frustrated with the high-mindedness. They are the haughty coffee place for haughty people. Not my thing. Others will love it: not me.

By the airport Marriott, Riffs is Donelson's fresh cafe for breakfast and lunch. Riffs fine pastries are always available and the rest of the food changes frequently. The flavorful Squash Fritters with veggie garnish and a cup of their Intelligentsia coffee almost made me do the happy dance. Happy, but the coffee didn't make me feel smarter. I think that the coffee's more intelligent than I. On different days I might find Korean tacos, chicken soup, local greens salad or waffes if I'm lucky. The sandwiches tend toward a fun unconventional mix of ingredients.

The service was great! One of my pet peeves is asking about menu items and the server not knowing anything about them. Server at the counter answered all questions with good knowledge of what I was asking and also made some great suggestions. Friend had the Tophat burger and it was good but the fries stole the show on that plate. Hand cut, double fried. These people know how to treat a potato. I had the Printers Alley and it was also very good but the collard greens again stole the show. The desserts almost cost me my diet as they looked incredible. One day I will try them. The only thing keeping me from giving this gem a 5th star is the portions. The sandwiches are a little pricey for a sandwich that is between a standard burger and a slider. For a price north of $10 for a sandwich, 1 side and a small glass of tea I expected more. Otherwise, great place to eat.
