I stumbled upon Red Bicycle during a recent trip to Nashville thanks to Yelp and decided to give it a try. Arriving after the breakfast rush and on the cusp of the lunch crowd, my service was reasonably attentive and fast. As more customers stopped by, the place took on a Cheers vibe with employees greeting several customers by name. I ordered a Mexi crepe (egg, chorizo, salsa, sour cream) and a hot chocolate. I found it a bit odd that while my food was brought to my table, silverware was not (forcing me to get up to grab my own flatware and napkins). This little service quirk aside, the crepe was tasty and surprisingly large - certainly large enough to split between two people. An extra side of salsa for this Texan would have been a welcomed addition. Like other reviewers noted, the place has a hipster vibe with seating and tables made from reclaimed wooden pallets with an overall unfinished, industrial look. Ample parking is available behind the store front so skip trying to find street parking.

Stopped by for a quick coffee and crepe on a busy day to be warmly greeted by a smoky cafe space. Likely from the grill in the kitchen, the haze and smell was a bit off-putting for enjoying a good cup of coffee. The barista was also a bit indifferent towards positive customer experience. For this reason I elected to simply take a coffee to go and find lunch elsewhere. The coffee was average. I may have walked in at a bad time or on an "off" day for this cafe. Nonetheless, there are plenty of great coffee shops in Nashville that already have my confidence in a positive experience every time. I would consider a second visit to try a crepe sometime!

I am thrilled we have a hip coffee shop on Nolensville as I think this area has so much potential. Pros: Pretty Good Coffee Very trendy atmosphere Great Location Good Service This place was very happening when I visited on a Saturday morning. They offer a very inviting and trendy decor- wood planked walls and pallet furniture. They use quality equipment to create their coffees as well. We ordered two lattes and two crepes - the florentine and the nutella. The coffee was pretty good, though it did take about 10 minutes to get it and I really wish they had more interesting options ( house recipes and the like). The crepes are similar - just ok (bland and plain) and really wish they had more variety or more flair or interesting options. Cons: Wait Expensive Mediocre Food Options As mentioned above, the food was just OK - I definitely didn't feel that the price justified the quality. They are crepes, and simple ones at that. I would expect to pay maybe $5 -$7 for a crepe, but their's are much closer to $10. This is a hip and trendy place, but not in a hip and trendy neighborhood (yet) and so I felt the prices weren't right. Again, to be a trendy place, they should have some more interesting food options and recipes for their crepe - not just a crepe with some nutella on it. Overall, it's great to have a place like this in Nolensville, and they definitely have the quality part down. If they can just make it a little more of an original experience I'm sure they'll be packed all the time.

Love the modern, rustic hipster decor. Coffee was on the lacking side, watered down not bold as I expected. Crepes looked pretty good, I will bring my French friend for the taste test next time. Employees were nice and accommodating to having almond milk or soy instead of cow's.

I was excited to find another crepe and coffee place to check out around town but Red Bicycle was really more of a letdown for my expectations. I parked in the back of the building and lets just say if you are in heels try to find a different parking spot and go through the front because it was a delicate walking experience in the rain in heels. The decor....as apparently 99% of coffee places in Nashville are....was very hipster. Not knocking the decor because it was nice enough but it wasn't unique at all and the place needs to work on ventilation because it was stuffy with such a strong food smell I walked out feeling like i need to change my clothes because I smelled like the restaurant. I visited for lunch so I wanted something on the savory vs sweet side and the worker recommended the maple bacon crepe so I went with that since he said it was very popular. Can't say I understand why it is popular because it literally was 90% bacon and some cheese overloaded with maple syrup drizzle on top. The bacon was mostly soggy and the maple syrup made it too sweet but the two flavors together alone was boring and i felt disappointed with every bite. I have this thing where I'm trying as many coffee places around town as possible so I ordered a coffee to go. I got whatever the drip coffee of the day was and it was fine but considering this isn't an area of town I live in and the crepe was unimpressive, the coffee wasn't good enough to make me want to return.

Finally, Nolensville has not only a new coffee shop, but a great one at that. The coffee was delicious but unfortunately I didn't get to try any crepes or sandwiches. The atmosphere was very nice, urban and chic. I could see myself getting a lot done on my laptop here. The only downside is that there isn't much outside seating. A few in front and a picnic table in back. That just comes with this particular property though. I would love to go back, crepes are calling my name!

This.Place!! So excited it's not far from my house! I was a fan of Woodbine coffee and was bummed to see it go out, but was pretty excited to see that Red Bicycle would be taking its spot. My husband and I decided to have a breakfast meeting there and was so happy we did! We got there around 8:30 on a Saturday morning and there was no one there. It made me a little nervous, I really want them to do well and stay! By the time we left about an hour later, the place was packed!! Glad to see so much business! Now on to the best part, the food!!! I went safe the first time, just got the basic crepe with strawberries and a cuban. Both were fantastic!! My husband got the breakfast bagel sandwich, it looked incredible. The problem for me is that I hate eggs so I couldn't take a bite. I almost did though, that's how good the sandwich looked. The person we were meeting with got the florentine crepe and it too, looked amazing! My cuban was pretty prepared, so much so that I had to text my sister who is a cuban fanatic to tell her she had to try this one! The next time we went I decided to live a little and get the nutella crepe. Now, usually I'm not a huge fan of nutella...I know...I'm sorry....but the nutella crepe...daaaaang!!! I will always be getting this one! It's delicious, especially when you add strawberries!! Again, I went for the cuban, how could I not?! I will be making this our meeting spot from now on! It's perfect, I get good food and coffee plus be productive at a meeting!

This place has great food, great prices and a friendly staff. We usually swing by before the 10am rush and walk right up to the counter. I know the Germantown location has some serious lines from time to time. I'm sure that'll be in RB Woodbines future but for now it's easy to get in and grab a seat. I usually get the bagel Sammy with bacon- which is a great way to start the day. If you want an amazing way to start your day add some feta!

Terrible service. Food was good, just took to damn long. Waited 20 minutes between each crepe which made it uncomfortable for the person eating, then cook tells us only can cook 2 crepes at a time....lame excuse. Ruined our breakfast.

Always ready and willing to try a new coffee place and this one popped up down the street so of course I had to check it out. We got the honey miel to drink, and it was tasty - very sweet, but tasty. I went with the florentine crepe and my husband got the spinach. Pretty good, definitely filling because they are huuuge. Overall we liked the atmosphere and the feel of the place and we'll be back!

Got the mexi crepe which is huge! It wasn't bad just not spicy enough for a Texas girl like me. The coffee was also not good. It tasted like burnt grounds. Blech!

Coffee? Check. Coffee house atmosphere? Check. The most ridiculous nutella/peanut butter/banana crepe you've ever had? Check. Oh my god, check!

I've tried to give this place a chance 3 or 4 times. My experience really varied based on who was working there. The first time I went I ordered a drip coffee and a breakfast crepe. I took a sip of my coffee black, and it was not hot at all. I asked if there was a way to heat it up and the girl working was very accommodating. She poured out my coffee and filled the mug with hot water, to heat the mug, and then poured me another cup. Still not very hot but it was better. I waited a total of 30 minutes to get my crepe, which I felt was kind of ridiculous, but I wasn't in a hurry and the crepe was pretty good. I should also note that there were only 2 other customers in the store... 30 min wait? The second time I returned I ordered an Americano, and a Mexi crepe to go, and waited 25 minutes for it. There were two guys working that were talking the entire time to eachother and would talk to customers only when they walked up and ordered... After finally receiving my crepe 25 minutes later, I asked the worker if my Americano was done... He told me he didn't remember me ordering one. I showed him my receipt and he said "oh ok, I'll have it ready in a few minutes". This experience took 30 minutes. Americano was good. Now I know it sounds like I'm ranting, but I want so badly for this place to be awesome... It's a great location in an area where there are NO good coffee shops. I go back a third time... This time I order an Americano, and I ask the "crepe master" :) about how long it will take for my crepe. He says it should take about 5-10 min. I have somewhere to be again, but I order one after he tells me it won't take long. After 15 minutes of waiting I looked back into the kitchen and noticed him playing with the sink hose, and i started wondering what was going on??? I made eye contact with him and then he comes over to me and said he had just received my order for the crepe and he was really sorry... I'm not entirely sure how this happened, because I had told him directly I would be ordering one. I finally just asked him for a refund, and had mentioned I've had to wait this long the past two times I've been there. He was very nice about it and refunded me, and told me I could get a free one next time I came in... I think this place has a TON of potential, but many of the workers need to be respectful of customers' time. I'm not one who cares about people goofing around on the job a little bit, but if it begins to affect speed and quality of service, I don't want to come back. I'll probably come back because it's so convenient, but I really hope the staff can be a little more on the ball.

A great new addition to the Woodbine-Glencliff neighborhood. Red Bicycle does a wonderful variety of savory and sweet crepes and also features coffee brewed on two auto chemexes and your traditional espresso. The shop has a nice amount of two person tables, bench seating, and a about six stools in the middle of the shop. They also offer paninis, salads, and a few muffins and scones. Stick with the crepes. You'll be glad you did. Coffee and espresso were both really nice. The staff is pleasant. Well done Red Bicycle. Update: seems the food delivery has suffered. Hope they get it back

Red Bicycle has a good and fair prices assortment of Espressos. I did not try the Crepes but from what I have heard they are good. Definitely will return.

Awesome awesome awesome. Did I say it was awesome? First time there. I really felt welcomed I was on my way to work decided to try something new for me. Pulled up yelp and this came up right on my route. I ordered the Maple bacon crepe and I was only disappointed by how fast it was gone. . I'm definitely coming back and bringing the wife next time. Did I say it was awesome?

I'm really glad this place has opened up in the Woodbine neighborhood. I was really bummed to see Woodbine coffee leave, but this is a great replacement. Its a great location on Nolensville Pike right off of 440, so really accessible but not a place that will draw heavy crowds and long waits. They have opened up the room a bit more than woodbine coffee had it, with more places to sit. My wife and I went by there last week during one of the ice days this Feb, and it was pretty busy. It took about 10 minutes to get the crapes out and they were really great.

Really cute coffee shop in what seems like a coffee shop desert of Nashville but overall I wasn't too impressed. I guess without much competition, you don't have to be superb. I promised myself I would try a new spot for some lunch and afternoon studying and decided to give Red Bicycle a try. Parking is not an issue as there are a few street spots on Nolensville and parking lot in the back. When I approached the counter, I'm pretty sure (fairly positive) that I wasn't greeted with anything other than a half way engaging, "are you ready to order?". What happened to friendly staff, possibly asking if you had questions, wanted a recommendation or had even been to the place before? Sorry for the rant, I but I'm just not a fan of places with mediocre customer service and on top of that ask for a tip BEFORE a service is rendered. Ugh, anyway. Perhaps I also went wrong by ordering a panini at a crepe place, but it was lunchtime and all paninis come with chips for under $10 each, kind of hard to beat. I went with the Woodbine (pimiento cheese and bacon panini) and was not impressed. The pimento cheese was tasty (and the jalapeños gave it a nice kick) but the bacon was a sad, sad situation. I pulled apart the thick, toasted pieces of sourdough (?) only to find what looked like 3 day old, shriveled up leftover bacon and didn't have much of a taste. Anyway, I'm sure I'll go back to Red Bicycle, but probably order a crepe.

I like this place! The crepes are delicious, I had strawberries with nutella! I did not have a chance to try the coffee, but I will be back to try some of their specialties. My husband did have the chai and he loved it. He also had the bacon pimento cheese sandwich...and it was amazing!! The food is a little pricey for sandwiches and crepes, but what we ordered was delicious nonetheless. My only take back is the lighting...not a fan of overhead fluorescents. But that shouldn't stop you from stopping by here.

Live in the area and a great addition to the neighborhood. Great coffee selections to buy and the drip coffee they have to order has so much flavor! Will be in more often!

Great place - although I prefer the Germantown location. The Germantown location seems to have more options. We went in yesterday wanting to order the yummy Cinnamon Roll and Bananas Foster Crepes that we tried at the Germantown location, but they were not available at the Nolensville site. Nevertheless, we still enjoyed our meal.

Great customer service! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the florentine crepe with Cuban iced coffee. Both were tasty. The crepe was filling but nothing to brag about. One of the gentleman was so nice as to grant my request for a side of Nutella . The ambiance here is pretty chill with a hipster feel. I'd come here again and try one of the sweet crepes. I will say that I thought the crepes were a little over priced as well as my drink. My totally meal was around $15.
