The restaurant was clean and food was hot. The spices was an excellent not too hot or mild... The employees were polite and friendly. A couple of negative to consider before buying. The portion of chicken is extremely small especially the wings, the mac and cheese was dry and clutter in very small bowl with little to no cheese. The restaurant is extremely cold...

My chicken tenders weren't fully cooked. The flavor was good, but once you got to the middle all you got was raw meat. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes and the biscuits. The employees were friendly.

Got in at 1130 for lunch.Young lady took our order with a smile.Ordered the Tenders,came out fresh. Lady came out to check on us.Then the Manager,walked the dining room area ,checking on you.Excellent customer service,excellent food.

Food was good but the service was horrible! Like I said, the food is always fine. The cashier that has greeted me everytime is very nice. But everyone else has blinders on and even the manager could care less how long people are standing by the counter for food or for drink refills. That is certainly my biggest gripe with this place. The service stinks!

Who knew there was so much to frying? Popeye's is my favorite between KFC, Bojangle's, and Church's. And there's a distinct difference in the taste. The batter is lighter and seasoned perfectly. When it's fresh and hot, it's unbeatable. Red beans and rice all the way. At this particular Popeye's the staff are clearly happy employees. I might have seen one bad day over the span of a year coming to this place.

The food was good; but I didn't get my whole order! By the time I got back to work; my lunch was almost over. Check your order before you leave. I don't have time to hassle with you on the phone about the food your employees forgot to put in the box.

Why aren't there more Popeyes in this region? KFC isn't pulling its weight, Mrs. Winner's never has anyone flowing through the drive thru, Bojangle's isn't worth the wrapper it's sold in, so it's a mystery to me. As a native to New Orleans, I can tell you that Popeye's is the closest I get to cajun food in Nashville. And you know what? It's not that sad of a story. Every Tuesday there's always some deal where the chicken is 25¢ a thigh or 3 wings for 99¢. The sides are just as addictive. There are people who solely go to Popeye's for the red beans and rice. The neighborhood that the store resides in borders the inner city at the Northern end of the Farmer's Market. The area has gotten gone through a few attempts at urban renewal in the past 5 years. So don't worry about where you are, worry about how long it will take you to eat delicious Popeye's.

God yes. A Popeyes. Nearby. And a good one too. I work in Metrocenter and the options are pretty limited when it comes to lunch. But. Venture just a little further down RP Blvd and there you go. Hot, juicy, yummy fried chicken. That's not KFC. Waiting just for you. Line moved pretty quick during the lunch rush hour and the chicken was fresh from the fryer. Perfection.
