A++ customer service and food quality. My husband LOVES this place! The Dagwood custom sandwich with all the fresh ingredients that he loves makes this his go-to lunch & dinner spot several times a week. Melissa, the manager quickly learned his name and exactly what he orders so when I go to pick up a sandwich to go for him, I don't even need to rattle it off. We also like their fresh-cut fries and chocolate chip cookies. We wish they served Coke products instead of Pepsi, but that's our only gripe and it's a personal preference so I can't really knock Penn Station for that. I love that Melissa makes a point of getting to know her regular customers. She makes you feel right at home. They train their staff well too. Occasionally you may get a new person who is in training, but once they are up and going, they provide above average customer service. Better than Subway. Check them out!

First time ever to a Penn Station today. I just wanted to try the sandwich to test the place out. Had the 8" Philly Cheese steak with onions and mushrooms and adult man(probably the owner) was making the sandwich, not some kid. It was SO GOOD. I will be returning again fo sho. Hope they have consistency here. Good sandwich. Glad to have finally try it out.

This is my first time at a PennStation. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich from the "light" side if the menu. Ick. I could see the employee behind the counter take out an industrial tub of chicken salad, scoop it out and schlep it on the bread. It was swimming in mayo and tastes just like chicken salad that would be scoped from a tub. The bread was good and the service was good. I may try PennStation again but I will stay away from the chicken salad. An 8" sandwich of mediocre quality and a small soda for nearly $10 is not a good value.

What can I say about Penn Station in Hermitage? Great food, friendly staff, clean, laid back atmosphere. I was waited on by Chris, a very nice young guy, very pleasant and all smiles. He called me by name several times which made it more personal. He took my order at the beginning of the line, then ran to the other end to checked me out. They were super busy but he was super fast and I was sitting and waiting on my food within a few minutes. The food took a little longer than usual to get today, but as I stated, they were super busy. The Titans game was playing on the big screen and all the customers seemed to enjoy watching the game while waiting for their food. When I was ready to get a refill on my lemonade, the three or four people behind the counter were very pre occupied and busy waiting on customers and making sandwiches. At which point a young guy by the name of Ray, even though he was clearly off the clock and on his break, came up from behind me and said can I get you a refill on your lemonade. Rays willingness to come over and wait on me while on his break shows that he has superior customer service skills. Both of these guys are an asset to the restaurant and I hope that their management realizes this. I asked them their name as I was leaving so that I could put it in this review. This is the only sandwich shop that even comes close to the delishiousness of a real Philly steak and cheese. I highly recommend it.

Fairly tasty. Not sure if it's a chain or not. It kinda seems like chain food. Not the best, but by far not the worst.

I love Penn Station! Everyone is always so friendly and the grilled sandwiches are unbeatable in Hermitage for the price. Yum!

You ABSOLUTELY MUST try the artichoke sub don't forget the mushrooms. You will not miss the meat...I'm a true meat eater but this is so good and satisfying. The fries are great aa well. You can call in but they will not make your fries until you get there and that's a good thing:-) priycy though.

I've been to Penn Station twice and both times it was awesome! I went to Penn Station in both Cincinnati and Nashville and both times I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. The sandwich was great and the fresh cut fries were as well. I always get my cheesesteak with mushrooms and banana peppers which makes it even better. I'm gonna have to try another sandwich one of these times, but I'm really digging the cheesesteak at this time in my life! Check it out!

I love Penn Station SOOOO much, but this experience was just gross. Ordered a 12 inch Italian for the wife and I to split. Older, larger gentleman makes my sandwich, without gloves and without washing his hands first. I know this is a violation of the TN bare-hands contact code. A tall blond girl that works there walked by and I noticed a GIANT hickey on her neck. Talk about the gross-out factor. This happened Saturday Sept 7th at approximately 2:30pm. I have written to their customer feedback department and I'm hoping their standards of sanitation will improve. I want to go back, I want to enjoy those delicious sandwiches, and I want to update this review in a positive way. Till then, I'm staying away.

Been going there since they opened in Hermitage. The food is good but more than that the staff is great. They always seem to be enjoying their selves and the service always comes with a smile. Good energy in that place.

I'm a Boston girl, so Penn Station is a little slice of home for me =) They have great subs, amazing fresh cut "flash fried" potatoes, and friendly service. You won't be disappointed at Penn Station!

Great grilled subs! Much better than the other nearby sub shops. Had the Reuben, and it was excellent.

After having only one in Mt. Juliet, I was so happy to see one is open in Hermitage now. Had to try again. Glad I did. This is my new sub shop. Still remember how hungry you are before you order fries. My Lord they give the largest portions of fries. And since many other sub shops only offer chips not fries, well that is one more reason the are better than the other sub chains.

Solid 4-Star performance by the crew at Penn Station!! Stopped in Friday before Poker-o-rama for a quick bite. Ordered the Veggie sammich. It goers like this: Me-"Veggie sammich please". Sammich maker dude-"This, that this?" Me-"Yes yes yes" Sammy bro-"This that and the other" Handsome guy- yep, of course, definitely" This goes on and on for about 20 ingredients, all fresh and tasty. Sandwich ended up being really good!!! Quick friendly service goes a LONG way with this guy! Good food just makes it even better!!! I the words of a leather jacketed alien robot: "I'll be back"!

Grilled artichoke with chicken & mushrooms is my go to sub. The fries are always fresh here. The staff is friendly. I've never had an issue with my food. Always hot & fresh. A great Penn Station location.

Not too bad for a fast food sandwich shop! The chicken salad is very yummy and far better than Firehouse Subs. Their fries are AWESOME and don't taste like fast food fries at all! The employees are nice and they have a lot of menu options

This is my favorite sub shop. I know it's not the healthiest choice, but it hits the spot. The Philly Cheesesteak and Artichoke & Chicken are my absolute go to orders. However, I do have one complaint: Everytime I order, I add on tomatoes. And Everytime, without fail, they forget the tomatoes. Have complained but it's like they don't read the order!

Good sandwhich (needs a bit of salt) and great french fries! The chocolate chip cookie is good but more like a bar than a cookie.
