Didn't get what we ordered. Mongolian beef didn't have rice that was supposed to come with order. Beef tasted boiled. All in all a very unsatisfactory experience.

We started ordering delivery here about a month ago. It's became a weekly event since then. The food is delicious, fresh, and always arrives very quickly. The lady who usually takes phone in orders is very polite and always goes back over the order to ensure it is correct. It is our go to delivery joint from now on. Try the boneless spare ribs combo! 5 stars every single time. My favorite delivery in Nashville.

We've eaten here several times, but this last trip was not very good. My wife got wonton soup, and the wontons were tough (the crispy noodles were also stale). We each got egg rolls, and the cabbage inside was tough and kind of "springy" (making me think that it too was stale). My chicken and broccoli was just OK--certainly nothing to rave about. Overall, not a very good experience.

I give this place 4 stars for being what is is: a standard Chinese takeout place, nothing more, nothing less. You should base your expectations accordingly. It's clean in there and the wait is rarely more than 10 minutes. Staff is friendly. The menu contains the typical overkill of choices, all accompanied by a number for easy ordering. The food consistently tastes good but is nothing to rave about. Prices are reasonable. Will I stop by there again the next time I'm too lazy to cook? Yup, probably....

I love this place. We live and Brentioch and order from here all the time. They are always so happy to hear from us. I think it's a sweet family run business. They're delivery is fast and friendly, but we are always happy to pick up because we just enjoy the people at the restaurant. I have always recommended this place and I'll continue to do so. Thanks a lot guys!

My wife and I have eaten here at least a dozen times over the last couple of years since they opened. We've always enjoyed their food and you can't beat the prices. It's not the greasy Chinese take-out that some places offer; I'm sensitive to grease (get headaches) and I've never had a problem here. My wife loves their shrimp and broccoli - huge shrimp and they give you a lot. My favorite is the kung pao shrimp - again, due to the huge shrimp you get. And the hot and sour soup is awesome - I get it every time. It's pretty much a take-out place, although they do have a few tables. Customer service is good. Actually, I was very surprised by how good it was. In all our orders, we've never had any mix-ups until today. I ordered a quart of hot and sour soup along with our main dishes, and I didn't realize until I got home that they had given me a pint instead of a quart. I called the restaurant to complain, and they offered to drive over a quart of hot and sour soup - which they promptly did (the guy arrived literally 5 minutes later). It's a family-run business, which I like to support. Try it out - you won't regret it!

The food is good but the service is horrible. We ordered in and after I over paid for a two liter I was told they have no cups. Changed the order to to-go and was meet with a bunch of attitude.

I ate here last night.i orderd for delivery at 6pm. I got my food around 8pm. The food was cold.and i was missing my soup and soda.but what i was told was disturbing.i was told my the young lady who brought my food that it took to long.because she likes serving brentwood area more because of the tips and money. She also said that the chinese people who work there.(owners) keep the delivery charge.and dont give it to the drivers. So on top of me paying three dollers for delivery charge. The driver still needs hers..when i called to ask questions .she hung up on me. Wow. i will never eat here again,.

Great local place that delivers. Food gets delivered quicker than they say. It's hot and delicious upon arrival. This is your typical fast food American style Chinese takeout. So...basically exactly what you expect and want! You don't want to get dressed up for a Chinese steakhouse and sushi bar where you have to use chopsticks. You just want to shovel great amounts of fried rice into your face with a fork while sitting on your couch watching The Flash on CW. You're an American. So eat Chinese like one! Boom! (mic drop)

Maybe we can bypass the 90 delivery time, after all, they do deliver and I was thankful for that, but . . . Do you know what you call Chinese food with no utensil . . . Inedible. No worries, I'm in a hotel and I was able to go get some. Unfortunately, I got no tip for doing so.

After one bad experience with No. 1 Chinese we decided to give it a second shot but still got less than desired results. Both times it was if the chicken had some sort of membrane or coating that was practicality inedible. The same thing happened both times and it was just a few pieces of the chicken. They have a solid menu, the prices are good but there is much better in the area.

One of my places I go for Chinese and I like it here .! They have your order ready in a good timing and the food is always hot and ready to go . I order online most of the time and love how you can tell them how spicy you want your food especially for the people who love spicy and who don't . Just make sure you grab your forks and spoons there on the side because they don't put them in for you . ( I forget about that numerous of times lol)

Have had this a couple of times and had it delivered as well. Super slow delivery. Took about 2 hours to arrive. Couldn't even finish the chicken the last time and had an upset stomach from it. Proceed with caution.

Amazing......I never expected such amazing Chinese food....boy, was I surprised! We usually get crab Rangoon, dumplings, Kung Pao Chicken and then another appetizer type thing and everything that we have eaten from there is incredibly fresh, hot and delicious! I keep meaning to try some of the other places around here but the food is so good here I don't want to try anywhere else! Also, the owner, is extremely friendly!

This is our go-to for Chinese takeout. Always delicious! The only thing that's bothersome is that their children run around the place and are rambunctious.

As some folks said, fairly average Chinese takeout place, but with that said, a good average. My hubby and I used to be exclusive with Evergreen Express, but within the last year or so something changed over there and the food hasn't been as good. So we finally gave this place a chance ( plus it's much closer to us). I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Our favorite dish to order is orange chicken, and I live egg rolls. No. 1 Chinese doors both well. The chicken comes out hour and cripsy with a decent orange sauce. We love spicy, so I always order it "extra spicy", but we've yet to actually get a spicy orange chicken. So not the place to get your spicy fix. The rice is usually well steamed as well. It comes out hot and fluffy, so I'm usually pleased with it. Egg rolls are good - nothing to write home about, but I doubt you'd be disappointed either. Overall, I'd recommend the place. The ingredients are good, and the folks in the back know what they're doing.

I've eaten here twice. I am thought my choices were very tasty. Shrimp lo mein was delicious. Fried rice was great. Delivery both times was great and very quick. Egg rolls were average. My only complaint is that you have to request condiments by selecting it on the menu. I didn't do that the first time and got 1 soy sauce. Fortunately I had a stash from another restaurant. That's no it a deal breaker though. I plan to order regularly when I am too busy to go out. Better than having to give up my cheat day because of having pizza!

We usually order from China King down the road, but we decided to give these guys a fair shot a few weeks ago. Here is how it came out... Better at No.1 Chinese: Fried Rice Egg Rolls General Tsao's Chicken Better at China King: Wonton soup Sesame Chicken The sesame chicken at No. 1 Chinese had a great consistency (nice and crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside), but mine was OVERWHELMINGLY garlic-y. I mean, we eat a lot of garlic in this house, we put it in almost everything, and this was to the point that I almost could not eat it. So weird. I don't know if I caught them on an off night or what. I might give them another go at some point and see what happens.

I have food allergies that make Chinese food generally safe. But the woman who worked there was very abrupt and suggested that we go somewhere else. We did.

Very friendly, fast service. The owner(s) are great! As far as Chinese take out goes, the food is consistently good. They offer delivery and online ordering. The space is clean and it's conveniently located in Lenox Village.

This is average, strip mall Chinese food. Nothing special, nor is it horrible. WTF is wrong with some of you that's you're actually shocked that there isn't a Michelin star hanging on the wall? Get a grip people.

This is a typical Chinese Food place. The last that takes orders is very nice and friendly. This place opened early in 2013 and looks very clean and presentable. I don't eat this type of food very often, but from now on I'll come here when I do. Also, they have a few tables/booths if you want to dine in.

When I went here the short Asian lady who took my order was screaming at the people in the back in Chinese, it was nuts. Food is expensive and takes forever.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
