Crossroads is the home of Buddy Owens and his band. Saw Buddy on Thursday and Saturday, and I would consider them the best group hands down! Phenomenal musicians with awesome personalities! The crowd at Crossroads spanned all ages and backgrounds. Met some very friendly individuals both nights! Crossroads is my favorite stop in Nashville.

Great little long narrow bar with fun bands. Lots of people come and go, but the rock/country band we saw here on Saturday was superb so we stayed for hours. They sounded great and were lots of fun. Bartenders were efficient, but not overly friendly. Crowd is all ages. Lots of dancing up front makes it one of the more fun spots around and it's usually not too busy. You can often find a seat in the back.

Broadway in Nashville felt a lot like Bourbon Street, the Vegas Strip on a Saturday night: plenty of neon, lots of woo girls, broskis, and lots and lots of AC/DC. My wife and I wanted to check out Nashville Crossroads but the hordes of partygoers packing every single spot veered us away from Broadway. Broadway on a Sunday nights seemed to be a lot more subdued and thankfully we didn't see elbow-to-elbow crowds. Nashville Crossroads turned out being the exact experience we were hoping to come across on our visit to the country music capital of the world where until we came to this venue, we came across bands playing Ricky Martin and Bon Jovi more than country music. The band performing when we came in was great, they took requests, but wouldn't play anything other than country; me wife and I aren't particularly familiar with country music, but this was a totally fun experience for us both. We can listen to a cover band playing classic rock or top 40 hits in any given city, so it was great get a taste of something new. You have your basic domestic bottles for $4, some imported stuff in bottles for $5, but get yourself a Yazoo pale ale and enjoy the show, and then follow up with some bourbon (of which there are plenty of selections). Simple, fun, and somewhere we would definitely go back to when in Nashville.

Awesome spot. We were just walking by and liked a song the band was playing, and ended up staying for 4 beers. Loved the low-key vibe!

Not a bad place, but not my perfect expectation of Nashville. Didn't eat, just drinks but ok service and slow crowd on Friday early evening, looking for something more upbeat and a little more "Nashville".

Our first stop on our Nashville bar crawl. Nice little dive bar with real friendly bartenders and a smoking band. Nothing really unique about this place though, but if I lived here I could see myself becoming a regular. Cool place.

I'm giving this 5stars because it epitomizes Music Row in downtown Nashville. No cover, great bands usually, watch out for Johnny T and the boys they're awesome. Smoking allowed, try the "show me your tits cocktail" you won't be disappointed! Hehe! Great long bar, mainly standing room only and open until around 0200am. Sound system is well balanced and always full of fun people of all ages and types. Bar staff are awesome and very professional you won't wait long to get served. Try to get there early on weekends as the line stacks up, make this your first stop downtown and then head back around 12am till late for a night cap, you won't be dissappointed.

So I've been here twice now and think the Crossroads is an A-OK honky tonk on the lower Broadway circuit. Actually, the first time I came here I only remember dancing to the band while one of the members winked at my brother's girlfriend. Good times! This last time I remember a little more clearly. Inexpensive drinks compared to the rest of Broadway. Drunk tourists and locals all mingled together. Good band. Seats in the back. Smoke 'em if you got 'em. Bathrooms not too hideous. Bottom line: put the Crossroads on the regular rotation - this is a true honky tonk!

Honky TONK!!!! Whaaaaattt!!! My favorite place on this honky tonk search. All kind of people here. Love it. The band was awesome. They played all hits and they changed a lot of the arrangement and the sound was crazy. The drinks were good and a cocktail and a beer is 10 bucks. The bartenders are funny and the rock the house. I will defenitely hang out here on my next trip to Nash...

I've been to the Crossroads twice. On both occasions, a country singer named Tim McDonald was playing. From now on when I go honky tonkin', the Crossroads will be my first stop to see if Tim is playing. He's a great performer and makes the entire experience fun for everyone. The actual Crossroads bar is nice. It has a very old west feel to it. The bar is long and they have an okay selection of beer. For the most part, there is little seating. Most of the real estate is dedicated to standing room only. My advice is to go early. Do some day drinking. The bands are good, there is no cover, and there is no crowd. This is my favorite honky tonk in Nashville.

I can't visit Nashville without stopping at this bar! Excellent drinks, honky-tonk vibe, great music. My friend Nikki and I have enjoyed line dancing to the live bands that play here. Make sure you try the drink "show me your tits" from the bartender Brandon. Fun place for visitors and regulars in "Nashvegas:"- yee-haw!

Went in seeking this "honky-tonk" that everyone speaks of, came out loving Nashville. This bar single handedly gave us the quintessential Nashville experience. From the guys in cowboy boots and hats, to the friendly bartenders, to Mark the bouncer (apparently in the south Mark has three syllables and sounds strangely like Martin). We danced all night to the band The Detonators. They were really good, and I think that we entertained them as much as they entertained us. We stopped in for a drink at ended up being the final customers to leave when they closed at 3! It is a great little bar to cut loose and be yourself, no pretension, no sqeezy guys trying to pick you up. Just normal people looking to have a good time! This little bar did have a few quirks the first being the enormous wooden sign from the Alton Belle Casino.- See we are from St. Louis outside of Alton and can't quite figure out how a sign for a casino that no longer exists ended up in Nashville, no where near the Mississippi. But it was our first sign that this was the bar for us. Secondly, strangely Ab Lincoln hung out for a while. Honestly a guy dressed as Ab Lincoln, make-up and all visited the bar, for no apparent reason. But we got photos with him, and how often do you have that opportunity to get your picture taken with a dead president?

I have been to Nashville 5x with my sisters to check out Broadway and Dance.....Every time I go to Crossroads, I want to hear Tim McDonald play and sing, He is an awesome piano/keys player. You can smoke at crossroads, and drinks are not a bad price, This reminds me of the bar Cheers, everyone is welcome....Don't forget to tip the band, as this is how they get paid in Nashville.(this blows me away that the bars don't pay the band, especially with the level of talent here)

Good time with friendly bar staff. enjoyed the all girl band Tuesday nights Shelly Bush and Broadband. They were great.

Yeah it's another of the honkys on the circuit, but theynseem tomget some pretty good talent through here and drink prices are reasonable. Same size as most of em with the band stage next to the front door. Has a few tv screens so you can catch some sports and enjoy the tunes. Small dance area but touristas will always find room when the toes start tappin.

This place is a dump-y little downtown bar with cheap beer. Don't expect much cause you don't get much. The band that played the night I was there was fun, the crowd was a little rowdy. They kept running out of every beer, though. Very honky-tonk.

Typical honky-tonk in Nashville. Nothing really stands out in my memory of it, so that alone tells me it was just ok. You have the live country band, fun people, good bartenders, not overly crowded. Period. End of story. Check it out. Enjoy.

Another great bar with another great band on my downtown bar crawl. The beer was slightly cheaper than the other bars, so in my drunken state I felt the need to stand outside and announce that to all the passersby. Some of them even came in to the bar, so hey I guess I found my second calling should my programming career not work out so well!!

This place is pretty standard. A few good beers on tap, but not many. Drinks were moderately priced and fairly well mixed. There was live music. The problem I had with the music was that it was way too loud. I couldn't hear my friends unless they yelled directly in my ear. Also, the singer of the band when I went was horrible. Why I gave it 4 stars instead of the average 3: One of the bartenders did some amazing tricks with bottles that was quite entertaining. Also, the crowd was really nice. It was busy without being overcrowded. Most of the people were the type to kick back with a beer and have a good time. No one cared what you were wearing or who you were with. The fun atmosphere was enhanced by people getting up and dancing all over the place when a good song came on. Overall, not the best bar in Nashville. But if you are bar hopping on Broadway, it is worth checking out.

Crossroads is AMAZING!!! Talented bands, awesome bartenders, polite bouncers, and has the best bar owners in town- they even let me dance on the bar once! Overall it's just good people, good fun, and exactly what Nashville is all about. You can't go wrong with this bar.

Crossroads offers the Nashville experiance on a nightly basis. I think one of the things that Crossroads does better than many of the other bars on this street is that they are friendly. I get pretty sick of entitled waitstaff and bartenders. Crossroads is a fairly priced, not too loud, and a place that you would actually feel like returning to when the night is done.
