Okay, I'll skip the donut review. You either love them or you're like, from somewhere else or something. So this isn't a review of the donuts. It's a review of the chocolate ice cream. I don't know if all Krispy Kremes have yanked out part of the front of their stores and replaced them with something that serves ice cream and coffee, but this location has. And I don't know if other people like chocolate ice cream that is soft serve and tastes like the chocolate ice cream you remember being on a fudge-sicle, but I do. And this is that kind of chocolate ice cream. I've just eaten it in a cone, but there's this big poster showing it being served on the top of a donut. As much as I like both, I'm a purist when it comes to decadent sweets I shouldn't be eating. I like them each straight. Warning: If you *do* like the kind of soft chocolate ice cream that tastes like a fudge-sicle, then this ice cream is addictive as crack. So don't try it, unless you've taken up marathon running or something that allows you to eat all the ice cream you want. But, then again, if something like a massive slug of calories bothered you, you probably wouldn't be at a Krispy Kreme anyway.

When the HOT sign is on, rush in!! Omg it was my first time having Krispy Creme in the States and my friend told me about the HOT sign. So now it's gonna be fresh piping hot doughnuts or nothing!

I'm not a HUGE fan of eating sweets so I don't visit these places often but my kids have talked me into stopping by here on Talk Like A Pirate day for free donuts. If you spoke like a pirate, you get one free donut. If you dressed like a pirate, you got a free dozen! We made out like bandits ;) The staff was very polite and seemed to be enjoying the day's festivities. Both locations that I went to were also very clean. Both get 5 stars in my book.

I was shocked to discover that this location no longer caries my person favorite Krispy Kreme donut the "Glazed Chocolate Cake". Not that I need it, but it was a bit of a disappointment. The staff here is always friendly, and was happy to answer our questions about the Cheerwine Donut, so I won't remove a star for their discontinuing my favorite donut. Probably not as many varieties at Fox's Donut Den or Shipley's Do-Nuts but if you are looking for a Krispy Kreme fix, you'll do just fine here

Mmmm... we almost never go here at home, but hey - we're on vacation! And just one donut, or maybe two, can't hurt, right? This location is just as good as the Atlanta stores (and I tend to think they're the best). Get 'em hot for sure. The coffee and hot chocolate are good, too.

They make it right in front of you! Where I'm from (Philadelphia) Krispy kremes are almost non existent so my parents were so excited to see an entire store devoted to these delicious donuts. I think they were a bit too excited though because they started taking pictures and questioning the workers about what its like to work in a Krispy kreme. C'mon guys! so embarrassing...

I should never eat here, seriously it is so bad to eat donuts! The kicker is you can see them make them and what makes them so unhealthy and taste so darn good! Krispy Kreme is a chain obviously and known for it's hot donuts made fresh in store. They certainly live up to the name, they are krispy and kremey. ;) I adore the good ole traditional glazed, although I have been told the Red Velvet out during Holiday season is delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and always welcoming. If I indulge in enjoying a sinful donut I typically opt for Shipley's or Fox's to support local business (and they taste amazing) but if I were near Krispy Kreme and had the craving I wouldn't pass it up!

Krispy Kreme! The one and only! Still coming off the conveyer belt hot and delish, but no free samples (is that an urban legend?). Each glaze will set ya back a buck, soooo worth it! Have a seat and watch the donuts come down from the belt, through the fryer and under the magical glaze curtain! Wear the hat on the table and have a Laverne and Shirley moment! We even chatted with the manager who was really friendly. Can't help it, industrial engineering geeks at heart :)

Took advantage of the free doughnut coupon from Krispy Kreme ...so with all the signage and hype for the pumpkin flavored fall doughnuts.. I chose the Pumpkin Cheesecake... and it was very very good.... especially the FREE part

Such a prime location! Right in Elliston Place. Man, EVERYTIME I drove down 21st, it just so happened that I would be in the vicinity of Krispy Kreme when the HOT sign was on. Sooo good and soooo worth every calorie! These literally melt in your mouth. I also liked their Very Berry Chiller.

There is not much better in the world than a donut fresh off the line and a hot cup of coffee. Doesn't even matter what kind of donut it is as long as it is steaming hot and fresh. Also, it doesn't matter how old you are, but watching the donut machine churn out the donuts is better than Zen meditation for relaxation. If you have a kid it is better than TV, but can lead to severe disappointment when the machine is not running. It is kind of disturbing that there is basically no price difference between 6 donuts and 24 which probably explains part of our countries weight problem. Follow my donut diet, only one, only fresh, only coffee and you will be fine.
