How many Ihops does one go to? We like bc they basically are the diner all American everywhere but kind of wish their menu had more ethnic food like a by deli, however still your basic diner breakfast easy lunch and dinner food. Love the savory crepes and seasonal pancakes. Service at the Charlotte location was very good. I don't know if it is always there. Yet, we have had exceptional service. Parking is easy in lot. It is clean and friendly. We do y go during Saturday and Sunday so can't review this yet it is consistently busy so they must be doing it right for many other customers.

My food was so disgustingly prepared and then served that I returned it for a refund. If you eat here you are daring. I am talking watered down egg mixture and I am so disappointed I refuse to give this experience anymore energy.

Not the most spectacular restaurant, but I don't have any complaints, either. They have IHOP-standard food, fair prices, clean venue, nice servers, and quick service.

This was my third visit to this location, and the disappointment continued. Poor service, cold food, and never a manager on site. How this location stays in business is beyond belief.

We have been eating here a lot lately. It is really close to our home. So they sent me a coupon for a free "Rooty Tooty Breakfast" or any entree for anytime of the day. So we went this morning on Sunday January 6th, 2013 I decided to get the new Jack Cheddar Potato Breakfast with 2 eggs sunny side up. It also came with 2 pancakes but I trade it for sourdough toast. Tony opted to get the same but he went with the sausage potatoes and egg beaters scrambled eggs and he took his pancakes. He had both coffee and milk and I went with Hot Tea. It was very good. I would eat this again. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is good, great prices and quick staff, and it is clean! I recommend this for anyone.. I appreciate the coupon it saved me over $7 on the ticket...

Service is fairly friendly and quick. I felt like sardines in a can though, especially when there were 2 waitresses/waiters walking between tables. The sweet cream on their waffle was simply too much. I would have preferred just regular old whipped cream (not the cool whip version with even more sugar). The blueberry compote (if you'd call it that- seemed more like the canned cherry pie filling you buy in the can but a berry version) was way too sweet. I can't say I liked any of their flavored syrups. Their regular old maple syrup was definitely the cheap flavored corn syrup instead of real maple syrup. But unfortunately that's what you get at places like IHOP.

I was very pleasantly surprised by my trip to this IHOP location! Our server, Sharita, did an excellent job and the food was very very good! There was no wait and we got a booth as we requested. Our server stopped by immediately and again as soon as we were ready to order. And this was with every other table seated. We had the two crepe combo that came with 2 eggs + bacon + hash browns + 2 strawberry and creme crepes. Mike left a happy man (who now apparently talks about himself in the third person)! Overall, an extremely pleasant stop at IHOP and I'll be back here.

The one star is for the sweet waitress Ellen; thanks for trying. The lack of other stars are for the wait, the food, and the careless attitude of management. We arrived at 11:25 and didn't get any attention until 11:45 (no water-- nothing.) Finally, a waitress came over after realizing we had sat there for so long and took our order. About 10 minutes later another waitress (I'm guessing we were actually in her section) came over and asked to take our order. That would have been 30 minutes. Our order came out fairly quickly. We asked for ketchup, but decided after a few minutes that we should just grab it ourselves from the wait station. My friends food was fine, but mine was cold. All of it. Cold. I got the breakfast sampler, which is supposed to come with pancakes-- which I never received. That was a huge problem for me considering PANCAKES is in the name of the establishment. I also ordered a vanilla coffee which tasted like burnt tires, but I'm not as concerned about this as I wasn't expecting very much at this point. I told dear Ellen these things and she graciously comped my meal. The manager never came over to apologize or ask about anything, which actually amazed me. This restaurant has some serious problems with management.

Breakfast is my go-to meal of choice for any time of the day. I was really excited that they opened up an IHOP nearby but maybe I was blinded by the excitement of yummy pancakes. Out of the 4 times or so we've eaten here my order has been right one time. I've gotten attitude from the servers 2 of those times and since we've been seated by kitchen on more than one occasion heard the people in there arguing about it. If my eggs don't have cheese on them am I not supposed to notice? It sure shows up on the bill whether it's there or not. Also, if you're lucky the food might be warm when you get it. It looks like I'll be skipping out on these pancakes for a while even if it's in the neighborhood.

I gave this IHOP another shot as the manager had given me a "2 free meals" voucher to make up for the last time. It seems they have gotten their act together! My husband, toddler, and I went on a Saturday morning. We were immediately seated, and the service was prompt and friendly. We both ordered the Build-Your-Own-Pancake Combo. Meanwhile, my toddler decided he didn't want to be there anymore! After several failed attempts to get him to chill out ("Look! Crayons! Here's a snack! Let's go outside!", etc.), we had to ask our server to bring us take-out boxes! She did so quickly and also volunteered to put our drinks in to go cups. We ate our breakfast at home, and it was alright. Decent for the price--but I'd probably choose Cracker Barrel over it most days.

Food was nothing special. Order was wrong had to get it corrected. Then they charged incorrectly. If you actually eat here make sure you check to make sure they have correctly charged you. Best bet is to just go down the road to Cracker Barrel.

I love Ihop. This one had just opened and was extremely busy, but the waitress was nice and did the best she could. Food was great, like at all Ihops. Would like to back now that the new restaurant rush is over.

We got in right when it opened so I think our waitress was still asleep. She was sweet but a bit off point on coming back for refills and whatnot. Can't remember her name. The biggest thing I had a problem with was the military discount... Service members can only receive it when in uniform. For Marines (myself) that's BS! we are not allowed off the base in our cammies. Even after showing our waitress my active duty military ID, she insisted that she couldn't give me a discount. It's not about the actual money, it's the fact that Marines are being denied what the Army, Navy, and Air Force are getting. That in itself rates two stars.

Shouldn't even get 1 star. We took 2 year old daughter to breakfast this morning after the rush. Restaurant was only 1/2 full. We placed our order and 45 minutes later we still had no food and no follow up visit from waitress. Few minutes later the waitress reappeared and said she apologizes and "manager won't go talk to kitchen about it so she went herself." I asked to speak with the manager who told us the ticket was lost by kitchen and he will take care of the meal. Almost 10 minutes later food was brought but not correct but they did have my pancakes and daughters food (grilled cheese but I guess they didn't feel melted cheese was part of it). I asked for warm pancake syrup but that was not brought as waitress was busy talking to another manager about how to get correct order without removing the entire plates of food that were partially incorrect. I asked for the manager again and just wanted the warm syrup brought out while we awaited the correct food. He continued explaining to me he was "taking care of the meal" and not understanding I had no problem paying I simply wanted warm syrup and the correct food after an hour of waiting. At this point he slams the 5 dirty glasses from another table onto ours and demands we leave or he will call the police. I've never had an experience like this in my life and would never even consider returning. BEWARE! This place is horrendous!

I went to this IHOP yesterday with my 7 year old daughter. I do not suggest going here, EVER. This is the 3rd time I tried giving this restaurant a chance, and failed all 3 times, horribly. First off, they brought my food and forgot to bring my daughter's. Now it wasn't my waitress who brought my food, but the lady who did, said "your waitress be right with you" and ran off so fast I could not get her attention to inform her that they did not bring my daughter's food. Secondly, my food was HORRIFIC. Ham was very very dry, toast was burnt, and eggs tasted like jail food. My daughter's "fresh" fruit, was severely mushy, I would not let her eat it. I will not come back to this awful place, but I will go to the IHOP on Bell Road because they are actually good there. I strongly suggest you do not waste your money at this restaurant. You will be greatly disappointed.

I love Pancakes, and IHOP is all about Pancakes so its good that they have one so close to me now. This IHOP has, at the time of this review, been open just over two weeks. Unfortunately it shows. The staff, while very friendly, is completely in shambles. Everyone is still trying hard to find their place and get it right. It shows very clearly in the entire experience. The hostess led us to one table, only to be told that it was the wrong table. She then led us to another table, seated us, and then wandered off in a confused fog. Or waitress then served us with one arm in a sling. A feat of legerdemain that I'm sure will one day find her in the annals of IHOP lore. The meal was decent, but the strawberries on my "Straw-Ban Pan" had only the warmth of the Pancakes to keep them from being frozen solid, and the entire thing was presented on the plate with the skill of a child putting together breakfast in bed for mom. I look forward to returning, but I certainly hope they can work out the bugs and get the place running smoothly.

Sticky table top, check! OK service, check! Usual IHOP fare, check! This IHOP was cleaner and newer looking than others I've been to and the greeters were welcoming when we got there. I have to say that on a busy Sunday afternoon, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks and meal. They get two stars for their faster than normal (other IHOPS I've been to) service. Other than that, the food is the same as any other cookie-cutter-chain IHOP. I don't mind coming here for my once in a while cravings!

We usually always stop at an Ihop when we take a road trip and this was no different. You come to expect certain things from Ihop but this experience was less than par. I ordered the special of country style potatoes with cheese, bacon, anfld sour cream and requested the onions be left off and a side of pancakes. The order came covered in onions and my pancakes were served on a dirty plate. I had to send my order back while finace ate her food, then had to o wait on me while I ate my food. The server (a rather sweaty guy) brought our bill, and offered no discount for the error.

Horrible experience. Went with my wife and baby. Restaurant had a total of 6 tables(yes! I counted!). A short wait to get sat. Once we were sat........5 min......10min....15min.....? @#$%& Not even a greet from anybody. Went to a server who was at the pos terminal. Below was our conversation: Me: excuse me miss, we sat over there ...(pointing at our table) do you know who our server is? Server: (looked at me....looked towards our table and then reply.... hmm sure don't....I'll find out later for you I went back to our table to wait. I saw the manager approached her.....instead of informing the manager our problem...she went ahead and ask her how to ring in an item then left! I was amazed by their teamwork and service. We decided to get up and leave.... From entering to exiting the place...not a single word from anybody except for the short conversation with the server and the hostess. We will not be back!""

Hi. This is a review for an IHOP. Which means you should have low expectations and you just are checking to make sure you're not going to get 1. Food Poisoning 2. Shot or 3. See mice on the floor. If those are are the answers you're looking for, I would say this IHOP location is 1. Pretty good about the good looking and tasting good 2. In a pretty safe location that is well lit in a new shopping location with security patrolling the parking lot. 3. Floors were pretty clean. The service was slow but it was late in the day so all the servers we're probably just tired. Alot of seniors drinking the bottomless coffee in this joint. BUTTER PECAN is really the ONLY topping you should put on your pancakes. Also - the new york cheesecake pancakes could and should be eaten for dessert. Yum!

Okay, so who doesn't love IHOP where you can get fresh pancakes, fresh eggs, fresh this, fresh that? No one I can think of (except those few IHOP haters). I worked at an IHOP for a little while so I know how things work behind those swinging doors but as this is a review, I'll be as objective as I can. I gave 3 stars because--while it was kinda busy--the order still took a little bit to get to the table. When the order arrived at the table the pancakes on my order were wrong, but that's okay because I'm sure it was hectic. When our waitress noticed, she hopped right on it and got them out to me within 5 minutes, the cakes, however, were a little scorched and so my red velvet cake pancakes tasted like an amateur baker baked them. The rest of the food was a little cold and old but tasted alright anyways, it would've been nice to have fresher ones made for us but I didn't say anything because I'm never one to be a pain in restaurants. This location was very clean and the staff seemed friendly enough I suppose, it was busy so I'm cutting them some slack. Overall, I had a fine time and the fare was standard IHOP fare, that's just something they need to work on. Happy yelping!

Andre the waiter was awesome...food is as expected. The store is very clean and draws quite a crow. I was surprised to see they even had a small outdoor dining area. Service time to be seated far exceeds the wait at Cracker Barrel and is a much better value in my opinion.

I hate to disagree with my wife (not really), but this location is not half bad. Do not expect the greatest breakfast of all time - it is IHOP after all, but since they have opened they have made decent strides. Sure, the staff has probably turned over a few times as expected, but the food as of recent has turned out just fine. Myself, I enjoy the pancake special with chocolate chip pancakes and sausage. Pancakes are cooked perfectly....i must admit, however, i bring my own syrup! If you stop across the street at World Market...you MUST pick up some coconut syrup from Hawaii. It is the bomb! I would use another term, but i'm not sure it is appropriate for all audiences... It will be like eating an almond joy pancake...sooo good! Aside from that shameful fact, the eggs, sausage and bacon have come perfectly as ordered. It was not always like this but I did not jump the gun like me wife *cough* You know who you are Sasha!)

Food was nothing special. Order was wrong had to get it corrected. Then they charged incorrectly. If you actually eat here make sure you check to make sure they have correctly charged you. Best bet is to just go down the road to Cracker Barrel.

Watched a manager cuss at two employees this morning. Never coming back.
