It's Dairy Queen so it's friggin' awesome, but The company is discontinuing the mint Oreo, WTF!!!!! An inside source told me this store stocked up on the not Oreo so take advantage before its all gone.

Service here was unacceptably slow. It took over 15 minutes to get an Oreo Blizzard. The stuff they make at this location tastes fine. But service should take no more than five minutes.

Our family of 6 has gone here twice in the past 7 months. Both times we went we ordered meals as well as ice cream. Both times the service was not only slow, but our orders were incorrect (we did not ask for anything to be specially made, just simple menu items) and both times they were out of chocolate ice cream. They only offer two flavors of ice cream...how is it that they never seem to have one of them? Last Friday was the most recent time we were there and there was pretty much a constant, slow moving line. We watched as order after order was silently placed on the counter to be claimed by confused customers wondering what had just been set out. How hard is it to call out the order and make sure that the right person grabs it? One poor guy had no idea his blizzard had been made and set on the counter for a long time, found it, and left only to come back five minutes later because it was the wrong thing. It took them ten more minutes just to give him what he had ordered in the first place. We will be finding a new place for family treats. I wish I could say that perhaps the staff were new and still learning the ropes, but they were all the same people that were there the first time we came 7 months ago. The only reason I give them two stars is because on our first visit they got our order wrong and gave us the mistake for free.

OK, no surprises on the Blizzard. Would it be too much trouble to stop cleaning-up and wait on customers. How about look at me when you hand me my Blizzard. Oh, I know, look at me when you hand me my change so it doesn't all fall on the floor!

Food is always made fresh. Staff is very friendly. Kids menu comes with dessert and has healthy side options- you can even get a smoothie. They also serve Orange Julius smoothies here. Lots of ready to go ice cream cakes and take home desserts too.

Love Dairy Queen. My only disappointment...how bad the food is for you. Maybe someone would consider bringing back frozen yogurt for Blizzards?

It is a Dairy Queen so you know what they have. Yet you will still stand there with your mouth open in confusion as you try to decide what you want. And what you want is a Blizzard. Duh. I got the Mint Oreo Blizzard. Glad to see this on the menu since they don't have the Thin Mint Blizzards anymore. And that was probably the best thing I've had at Dairy Queen EVER. Mint Oreo was close enough to make it a good substitute though. I like that they now have a mini size along with the small, medium, and large. Not like I ordered the mini size, but good to know it is there anyway. The kid behind the counter was about 12 (ok, probably 16) and was slow as molasses but it is hard to be mad when he finally puts your delicious frozen treat in your hand.

Be-ware the advertised cheeseburger or $5 lunch (cheeseburger, coke, frie sunday)Worst cheeseburger ever !!!!! Absulutely microwaved to point bun is wrinkled lettuce is limp and tomatoe soggy ugghhhh. Ok so here is the Kicker. I had given them a second chance and asked upon arrival is burger would be fresh and cooked to order. Young lady said yes all are sir. I received tray w hot fries and though ok they were cooking back there! Then I opened burger and oh no! I asked why is this like this ? She replied sir this is a fasf food thing , we must melt the cheese and heat the bun to make a great impression. My coworker Jen does this with all burgers!!!!!!!!!!!! So not only is this the worst burger ever but its policy?! So take it that teenagers run this place and are not at all interested in anything but a few hours pay and rather lie and make no emotion robot like statements than anything else. The one star I gave since she said sir , thankyou, and gave correct change. -ughhh

America's classic source of burgers, fries, milkshakes and sundaes. The chain has served up delicious fast food since 1940, although this outlet opened more recently. Like others, it serves up dairy dessert favorites as well as new offerings.

Dairy Queen is one of those places where I've seen their national commercials (the one with the big lips?), yet have never actually seen one in my former corner of the US. I just checked, and there are about 5 in the Bay Area -- but the closest to my old address was about 15 miles away. I had no expectations of how the experience would be, except to at least try their famed blizzards. I had a cheeseburger/fries/drink combo for $4.69, subbed onion rings for the fries for an extra $.69. The cheeseburger was just okay. I have since tried the bacon cheeseburger, which included fresh sliced onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and mayo. The onion rings were fantastic. Very crunchy, just the way I like it. One day someone is going to invent an onion that will not come out in one long strip when you bite into an onion ring. The Mud Pie Blizzard was outstanding. Given the heat that's afflicted this region, it hit the spot. I love the crunch of the cookie and soft melt of the ice cream. Service was slower than I anticipated. But again, I didn't know what to expect. I had no idea if this was a fast food place with food lying around under heat lamps, or if the food was cooked to order. There was a bit of miscommunication on their end: I was asked by the male cashier if I wanted the Blizzard at the same time as the meal, or afterwards. I asked for it to come with the meal. When nothing happened by the time I finished my burger and rings, I went up to the female cashier. She knew immediately what I wanted, but she explained that she was not told that I wanted it concurrently. She honestly thought that I wanted it after the meal, which seemed to be a common request. I also think that I was overcharged. Again, this could be my miscommunication. I thought I ordered a small blizzard, but with the heat, my stomach could have very well made my mouth request a medium and my brain did not register it. I will just assume that I misspoke.

I have only been here once and that is my last time. I went to get my fiancé's birthday cake since and I got all worlds of drama. I got the cake fine but we wanted a frozen strawberry lemonade. That little drink took forever and then when it was made we didn't know where it was. They never told us it was on the counter far from us. I had a few sips of it and it was way to tart to even finish. Burger King's frozen drinks are much better. My fiancé told them what's up before we left. They didn't act like they cared about their customers or knew what they were doing.

I consider Dairy Queen to be fast food, but if you aren't ordering ice cream it is anything BUT fast. I just don't think people come here enough for them to work hard on customer service and speed. If you are craving a Blizzard GO! If not, go down the street to another place.

I try to stray away from fatty, I mean fast food, as much as I can, but this location is just too damn convenient for lunch and the food is just hits the spot... for awhile at least. Normally, I would try not review a fast food chain, but this particular Dairy Queen has really nice and friendly people that work there. I actually consider it more of a restaurant than a fast food chain, because the service is so good and the food comes out looking like something that you would order in a restaurant and tastes like it too (food comes in a basket with perfectly cooked fries every time). I have never had a bad burger there. Obviously, it is not the finest burger place in Nashville, but it certainly is the best fast food style restaurant.
