Near the South End of the Opry Mills Mall is the one of the many standard stops you'll find in many Malls: Cinnabon. Oh, look there's a Cinnabon. There's a Mrs. Fields, a Hot Topic, a GNC, a Radio Shack, and an American Eagle. Shocker. But to be fair, Cinnabon, is relatively cheap, tasty, and a welcome break from the drudgery of working your way through Mall X. The one at the Opry Mills mall is clean, approachable, brightly lit, and cheery. The lady behind the counter was courteous and politely laughed at my bad jokes. My only real complaint is that it's a long line when the mall is busy (I went on a Thursday morning, AKA not busy), and the bun itself is more sugary sweet and not enough cinnamon spice. That's all, but it's enough. It's the same pretty much at every Cinnabon, so if you like that in a Cinnamon roll, go for it. By the way, if you're eating it yourself, get the minibon. The full-sized roll is the size of a dinner place, and there's probably as much sugar and butter as in a full cake. The smaller one will raise your blood-sugar sufficiently, give you a mood kick, and generally make you feel a little indulgent at half the price.
