High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. You should also avoid Avocado Bacon Burger and Monterey Melt as both these burgers contain a high amount of fat. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Yes, it's fast food, but sometimes I have a guilty pleasure to scratch... I'm not kidding when I say, in my experience, this is the slowest fast food place in ALL of Nashville. Any time of day, you can expect an incredibly slow line that stretches from the cashier window to the drive thru speaker and beyond. The other day, I waited for 15 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and the line didn't even move. There aren't any other fast food places readily by, so I've trudged through the line for the convenience only of its location. Verdict: Don't go if you're hungry and want something right away!

Just started working in the area. Decided to go by bk on lunch. Dirty, long wait, and rude employees. The young lady taking orders forgot to add my drink to my order then told me at the window they couldn't add to drive thru orders. Won't go back.

One of the filthiest places I've been to in a while, and no one seemed to care. At a time which was well past the lunch rush, it still took 15 minutes for my food, and messes in both the dining room and the kitchen weren't being cleaned up.

  • Alex J.

I've never given a one star before but they seriously earned it. Nothing about this BK is fast...their customer service sucks so much that I'm more polite than the employees. At least McDonalds trains everyone the same and has consistency. The worst franchise I've seen in years

I usually don't review fast food, but every now and then I don't mind a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant from BK after I night of debauchery... However, to wait 45 minutes for one is freaking insane. (Had I not already paid, I would've driven off.... Practically everyone else in line did.) They told me to "pull forward and someone would bring me my food." Ok, sure. You got it. ... ... ... After 15 minutes, I just gave up, got out of my car, and went inside. Finally someone asked what I was waiting for. "My breakfast sandwich?" "Oh, here." 1. They clearly forgot about the whole "bringing it out" to me thing. 2. It was cold. 3. No apology for wasting 45 min. of my day. 4. If you're the self-inflicting type that wants to experience terrible service and a nightmare I f a fast food joint... Go here. ...I won't anymore.

Im writing this from the drive thru lane. The fact that I can pen this missive from the drivers seat of my car from the drive thru lane with absolutely no threat to anyone's safety should tell you everything you need to know. This lane isn't moving. At all. It's Burger King. In the drive thru. Everyone knows what food they have (burgers) and everyone knows how it's going to taste (bad) so all they have going for them is speed. Hence the name "fast food." Yeah, you're not going to get that here. 'Nough said.

I was so disappointed when I saw the construction going on at this location, I figured it was being torn down and turned into something else. I went there today and it's the same old story - long wait with only one person ahead of me and my food was cold. I know it's convenient, but take the extra minute and go somewhere, ANYWHERE else. Also, this location never has ice cream, so if you have a late night craving don't make the mistake of waiting in line just to be told "our ice cream machine is down"

Again, I travel all over Nashville. Most times I like to have a sit-down meal, but sometimes I have to eat on the go. This was one of those days... I pulled in to the drive through and had to wait on the car in front of me for a little longer than usual at a drive thru. I had to wait on her at the window as well so I chalk that up to a large order, no biggie. The girl that took my order was pleasant, prompt, and correct with the order. The order was correct (No. 1 with cheese, no pickle) and if it was for the drive thru experience alone I would have given 5 stars. The burger was cold. There was not a bit of warmth to this burger. You could tell they put the cheese on a already prepared burger because the cheese (on top of the patty) was as whole and fresh as if it just came out of the fridge. I can only guess they took the pickles off this burger at the time of my order as well. The fries were hot and the coke tasted fine and the reason for my rating of 3.

If I could give them a half star I would.. The only reason I go is I like BK on as a whole and this location is closest to my house. They almost always leave something out. Super slow. For example just waited in drive thru 30 min. 8 min waiting at the box itself worst part is the inside was closed and no cars in front of me...I don't like giving bad reviews but consumer need to be warned there customer service is horrible.. Hope you really want burger king!

  • Ruth L.

It's the only closest Burger King to me otherwise I would possibly switch. Lines are long in drive through because they can be so slow at getting around to taking your order and getting it to you. They have a bad habit of not hitting the mute button and so after you order you will hear joking or complaining after you drive to the window. Inside the food has been good with the lines although long they move quickly and of course they have those new type of drink machines you can mix all kinds of different combos. Inside is clean also. My problem with it is I have gotten mostly good food through the drive through but every few times the burgers are burnt or drinks not correct such as too much carbonation with no flavor. Breakfast the mistakes happen a lot and you will never get the right sandwich. But If you are not one to get breakfast only then it's worth a try. You may want to use the inside so you don't drive off with bad or wrong food but when there are no problems the food is great

  • MARCUS B.

Burger King should shut this location down. It's rediculous. They ring you up and you stand in line with everybody else; 10 minutes later, they ask you what you ordered; then make it. Or you try the drive through and are told to pull up to the second window to order. Why? because there too stupid to take orders, cook and use the cash register at the same time? Ghetto King!

    (1)
  • Jack B.

This Burger King joint...jeez...where to start... If you're jonesin' for a Whopper but you've got nothing but time and patience and you don't mind if you get what you ordered or not, then this is the BK to be at! Seriously, there are times I've come to this place with no one in the drive-thru and it's taken 15 minutes (sometimes longer) to get my food. And it's not even the food that takes a while - it's the service. You've got to wonder just what the hell they're even doing inside because it's definitely not helping anyone who comes there to eat, that's for sure. They take their sweet time to take your order at the intercom, won't let you get a word in if you want it "your way," and you're lucky to get even a peep out of them when they open the window to take your money and hand you your food, though maybe that's actually a blessing... I could go on and on about this place but it's fast-food restaurant workers like this that infuriate me when I hear they're demanding that their hourly pay be doubled, not to mention the businesses themselves that let this sort of behavior continue. On a side-note, I've contacted Burger King about this particular location months ago to complain (which I've never done - ever - for any business) and never received any response, coupons or anything. I'll just assume the e-mail was sent directly to some pseudo-spam folder labeled "SSDD".

I try not to come to this Burger King if I can help it, but it's closest to my house and I was craving the Croissan'wich egg and cheese this morning! They always seem to have an attitude and slow as ever. Some days are okay, but for the most part, this is the worst Burger King I've been to

We were in the area around noon and decided to grab a quick lunch. Burned out on turkey subs on honey oat, I suggested BK, because I had just seen an ad for $1.29 Whopper Jrs. We sat in the drive-thru line for around 5 minutes & didn't move, not even an inch. I (the girl on fire - - for a flame grilled burger) convinced my friends to go inside. Maybe the drive thru person was new, it had to be better inside, right? When we got inside, there were about 10 people in line, 2 workers were taking orders, and, yeah, the line was moving, barely. Or it was until one of the 2 register workers walked away. That's when I noticed a bunch of customers over by the drink station. They had ordered and were patiently waiting for their "fast food". One must have dared to ask a worker how much longer because the worker said loudly and with some attitude: "Four Minutes". Finally, I got to order my $1.29 Whopper. I also ordered a small diet coke. The cashier gseemed shocked as she loudly asked me "SMALL?" I thought maybe I'm the only one left who doesn't desire extra large everything with extra mayo like the man in front of us got. After paying and while waiting a LONG time for our order, I realized my small drink set me back $1.79 plus tax. Then I saw on the "value" part of the menu that they offer a "value" sized drink for $1.00. Not sure if it's a little smaller or bigger than "small" but no way the "small" is worth 79 cents more. Really, I hope BK enjoys the extra 79 cents they got from me as much as I now cherish being a former customer. P.S. Since we got our "fast" food and so-overpriced drink to go, I won't comment on the condition of their nasty dining area.

This is one of the worst drive thru experiences I have ever had! Who ever is running this BK needs to be fired! So disappointed in this service.

I don't understand why this Burger King is still in business! The worst customer service in any store in Nashville. They are never open early in the morning when they are supposed to open at 5:30! Some people have to get to work early, but apparently not these employees. They are super slow and rude; act like they do not care if they wait on you or not! I'm writing the company about it; not that it will do any good. No stars would be perfect for them.

  • Janet S.

Time for my one fast food burger of the year, yes today and this year's choice is BK whopper and fries. $5.29 well spent. Nice bun though I wish they could get the lettuce concept down like In N Out do. Meat and all the trimmings perfectly balanced. The order taker seemed to be incapable of understanding the English Language but after four attempts at word order we nailed it. Place could have done to be a bit cleaner, gotta stay on top of those tables peeeps.

  • Brian C.

As Burger King's go, this one is ample. The big winner here is the facility. They completely re-did it a few years ago. The food is always good and consistent with the brand. Your big warning, beware of employees with attitude. I know, it's mass fast food, what do you expect. Here, though, there is some major 'tude! Go with the flow and order extra pickles just to completely piss them off.
