This place had an actual gluten free menu. It was good food and the server knew what to do. It is a great place to go for any meal.

There's a country store at the entrance that will make your kids want to buy everything. Good food. Dirty bathrooms. Friendly service and half the price of a fancy breakfast joint. $35 plus tip for four, with milks, coffee and OJ. Breakfast all day too. Perfect for the last day of vacation.

Bob Evans started in Ohio. I have been here many many many times. This one is a bit more campier. The store is larger and has some nicer things. I enjoy the nice selection of breakfast meals and have ordered off the menu. The Service is always nice and professional. Coffee is plentiful and server is very good about making sure it is available. Funny thing is that Cracker Barrel is down the street and I like that better. But my co worker likes this better. It is a preference. I should also say, I don't care anything about breakfast food, so I try to have a breakfast sandwich. They have lunches too, but today I can only speak to the breakfast. Parking is easy and check out is easy. Took a few minutes, but it was quiet, so maybe the person who checks others out was in the back. When it gets busier, it works better. Good for people to have breakfast before they do the Nashville tourist thing.

I had never been to a Bob Evans before so we went before going to a Christmas lights show at Jellystone. I had a breakfast scramble that consisted of a 3-egg omelet filled with pepperjack cheese topped with Bob Evans sausage and accompanied by a biscuit. Everything was as it should be but the whole place felt like a cheap Cracker Barrel. Pros: Huge menu and they serve breakfast at night Cons: Huge menu and the service could have been better. In her defense, the waitress seemed to be working most of the large restaurant. Overall: Surprisingly decent food but the whole thing felt like a cheap IHOP-Cracker Barrel crossover. Go if you want some breakfast at night or stick-to-your-ribs meats and veggies.

Remember, on Yelp three stars is GOOD review. This is a good review. More or less ate here because there was nothing else around for breakfast. They forgot our order and had to be reminded, but were nice about it and comped one of our meals. Despite this lapse, the staff are friendly and attentive... they don't seem to care if you are "their table" or not, they will stop and fill your coffee. The food was decent, not bad. Coffee was light-tasting but full of caffeine...in other words, good. The quality of the food was one of the reasons for only 3 stars...wholesome but nothing special.

We went to Bob Evans on Valentines Day and there was only two staff members there. They sent all the other staff members home early! There was literally 2 other people there besides us and it took two hours before we left bob evans with NO food at all and went next door to McDonalds and had our food within 5 minutes and were out the door I definently do NOT reccomend Bob Evans at all!

After waiting 5 minutes to be seated because there was not a hostess present, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant. 5 minutes later we had not been waited on while 3 other parties had been seated & had their drinks. After a waiter asked us if we had been waited on & we said no - he immediately took the order of the party next to us. We left immediately after that. On a bright note, the employee who tried to get us to stay was very polite. But it was too late.

This was my first time at Bob Evans and I don't have anything to complain about. The service during my visit was stellar and the food was ok. It wasn't amazing but it definitely wasn't bad. I had a Farmers Platter, which came with A LOT of food. I mean....alot. On top of all of that food, the pancakes are unlimited, regardless of the type you order. My experience was pretty good.

Terrible experience. Came for breakfast Sunday morning, there was 15 min wait, which was not bad considering the place was busy. Got seated, placed an order right away, waited 20 min to even get some coffee. Another 35 min later got ice cold food. Eggs made wrong, part of the order missing. To top it off filthy bathroom, no toilet paper. No excuse for a chain like this.

Stopped for breakfast and returned the next day. We were greeted by a waiter named Tim who had a great personality and made our experience enjoyable enough to return the next day and ask for his section. Over the two breakfasts we had sausage and biscuits, french toast, omelets, hash browns, banana and strawberry bread and coffee. We all enjoyed our food and there was plenty. The kitchen was a little slow in getting our food out but Tim ensured we had a sample of bread and biscuits and our drinks stayed full while we waited.

I'm not sure I've ever found a place with lower grade food than Dennys, but this Bob Evans might be the first. I'd never eat lunch or dinner here and honestly, breakfast is pushing it. This is on the same level as the Waffle House. The food is poor, greasy and the service remains at par with those two. However, if you are with the family and need to eat, do it at breakfast, but be patient. Service is slow and the food might not come out the way you ordered it.

This last experience was possibly the worst experience I've had in a restaurant. Service was unbelievably slow. It took 30 just to get the drinks, before they even took our order. On top of that they didn't even bring out all of our drinks. About 10 minutes another waitress comes to our table and slams my drink down and walks away. She stated I don't know who's this is but here. Took another 15 minutes to get silverware. As far as the food goes, it was good I have no complaints about that. It was truly lacking in the service department. I highly doubt I will return to this location. Maybe somewhere else.

I will never eat here again service was awful got my order wrong and charged me 16 dollars for an average breakfast next time it will be cracker barrel

Only a few people in here and it's still taking 35 minutes or more to get the food. It took them 25 minutes to seat us and we were the only people standing there !! this place use to be good and fast. WTH happened?

  • James B.

Avoid. In a group of six for breakfast, it took 30+ minutes to get coffee. When our food came, our silverware had bits of egg on it. By the time I got clean silverware, my food was cold and I didn't eat any of it. This place sucks.

I never would have come here if I'd looked at these reviews first. A couple of friends said they liked Bob Evans, so we skipped Cracker Barrel to check it out. Both sets of silverware had dirty forks. They replaced them. I ordered sourdough toast, and they brought me two black pieces. When I complained, they replaced those with something more medium brown colored. The only thing I liked here better than Cracker Barrel was the sausage, because I don't care for the smoked flavor of the CB sausage. Otherwise, my food (open-faced omelet) was just OK. I won't be going back, ever.

If I could give zero stars I would. It took a party of 6 over 30 minutes to get our waters and coffees! Then the food came 20 minutes later. It was freezing cold and items were missing. Finally asked for the check before the rest of the food even came. I can honestly say this may have been the worst service I've ever received. A tip of zero dollars was left.

  • Kaela H.

The service was good. My dad got potato crusted grilled flounder, glazed carrots, and broccoli. It looked like it was made in a nursing home. There wasn't any glaze on the carrots, the fish looked like it was microwaved, and both the carrots and broccoli were just dry. My sausage gravy was worse than out of the can. My eggs tasted like powdered eggs. Probably one of the worst meals I've ever had.

  • Tara B.

This place is horrible. It took 40 plus minutes to receive our coffees and water, both of which a different waitress slammed them down on the table saying, "I don't know who gets what." It was near impossible for people in my party to then obtain creamer for their coffee. Food--some of the food that actually came out--was cold. A long hair was discovered in the eggs. Half of my meal never arrived, despite reminding the server. Finally, so disgruntled with both the service and food, we asked for the check and left. Barely anyone left a tip. It was THAT bad. Please, just save yourself the effort, and go to the McDonalds across the street.

  • Joe M.

This experience was absolutely awful. It took over 30 minutes to be receive water and coffee after being seated and another 15 minutes after that to get cream for the coffees. The food came out cold to lukewarm and missing several sides. One person at our table did not even receive their meal before we decided to ask for the check and leave. Please save yourself and eat breakfast at the McDonald's across the street.

First time ever at Bob Evans, went in got seated really quick, and then waited for about 5 mins and still no server. As I watch two other parties come in get seated and get waited on within mins, seconds even. So I'm pretty frustrated with the whole ordeal of restaurants. And we had to leave cause of no service. Come over to cracker barrel got seated, been waited on promptly and is eating with 10 mins great service at the cracker barrel by Opryland Hotel...

The food was good. But our server Theresa was not the best. She was impatient with my friend when he was asking questions about the menu. And then proceed to trash talk before she was even in the kitchen, that we could still hear very clearly. Slow to be acknowledged as well when we were first set.

I last tried Bob Evans 15 years ago in Florida and didn't like it at all. My family planned a surprise breakfast for my Grandmother here so I gave them another chance. I really enjoyed the French Toast and home fries. The turkey sausage was pretty good, but I have had better. All in all it was a good breakfast. They were, however, slow to serve the food. I will probably eat there again (when Cracker Barrel is too busy)... :-)

This was the worst service and food I have ever had, this place plain sucks! Took over an hour for a grilled cheese for my wife and a burger for me. Food wasn't even hot when we got it. Said something to the manager who could of cared less. If you had a rating of minus 10 that's what they should get

Two years ago I came here for lunch after my flight and before my conference and I ended up doing it again today. It was a better experience- they had many people working and many people struck me as extremely pleasant- beautiful smiles, thoughtful hospitality, friendly even though they looked quite overworked and stressed. I'm trying to figure out if things are just slower in Tennessee rather than in the Chicago area or if this restaurant isn't quite a well-oiled machine. I felt like I was there for a LONG time and had to wait a long time for each part of my meal. Other people seemed to feel impatient too and I heard someone complain, but I also saw great teamwork among the staff and even saw people break into a jog as they ran to the kitchen to serve their customers better. The all you can eat salad/soup/sandwich lunch is an incredible deal. I don't know how they do it. It was $6.99 at lunch time and then you can add bread/dinner rolls for an extra $.99 (I don't think my server charged me for them, now that I think of it) and I highly recommend their soft and yummy dinner rolls! I really liked my sandwich (turkey bacon melt but I had no cheese- it was tasty the the first time- you get one half at first- because the bread was buttered but for some reason the second half was just on dry bread not buttered before it was toasted/grilled and it wasn't nearly as tasty). I liked the chicken noodle soup- it was thick with egg noodles and a peppery flavor that wasn't overpowering and with big pieces of tender chicken- very good. My salad was OK but I had asked for dressing on the side but I think it might have tipped over into the salad because it was a pool of balsamic. My server Steven worked very hard and was kind and also was quick to notice my refills. I can't believe how much money I saved going here rather than other places in the area- for great variety and even unlimited soup/salad/sandwiches! Much better experience than two years ago.

The food was not hot and the customer service was terrible. I went during bfast and lunch and received the same type of service each time.

In a word, disappointing. I won't be back. Mediocre service. Small portions. Just "ok" food. Cracker Barrel is a better choice by far.

2 stars rather than 1 only because the place looks decent- fairly clean, well kept, good atmosphere, the waitress we had was nice and good. Only 2 stars because the food quality is beyond terrible... If I wanted a burger of that quality I would have gone to Mickey D's and paid 1/2 the price. My burger was $10.59. The cheap meat tore my stomach up- I was sitting in the bathroom as soon as my meal was finished! The only thing that made me sicker was that I had to pay for that cr@p! This is the first time I've been to a Bob Evans in about 10 years and I most definitely won't be going to this one or any other in the future... AVOID!

Well, BE was the only restaurant in walking distance of our hotel so that made our lunch choice easy. You know what you're going to get here - faux farm cookin' (not cooking...cookin' is different), huge portions, sausage gravy, and eventually diabetes. Just kidding about that last part. Because, to my great surprise, you CAN eat healthily at BE - I mean, I don't think anyone ever does it, but you can. There is nutritional info on many things and lots of veggies. I had a turkey sandwich which appeared to contain meat from a bird (rather than a loaf) and was able to sub fries for steamed broccoli. The restaurant itself was very clean, and everything came out quickly & correctly. So - although BE would not be my 1st choice (it's pretty far down on the list) this particular location did a fine job.

I have always been a fan, but the service has slowly gone to pot, and by pot, I mean the toilet. The last visit lead me to give a 3 star and since we have just left after sitting at the table for 10 minutes without so much as being acknowledged, it's off my list. The 5 cars in the parking lot should have been warning enough.

This place has really, really well mannered staff. We had a glitch in our orders going back to the kitchen. They could not have been more apologetic. All was soon resolved to our satisfaction. The food was really good and the value was there for the price. I enjoyed the set up of the dining room and the attached store. I wish we had one closer to my home. These folks are quality staffers and good workers. Kudos.

Service is absolutely awful! 20 minutes and still no drinks on the table. And we wonder why this chain isn't doing well. The servers move like snails at this location. Would have gone next door to Cracker Barrel of it wasn't for a group disagreement. Save your morning and drive past this Bob Evans location.

Went here for some breakfast while on vacation. I got the belgium waffles plain because they were out of strawberries. Had to send back the waffles because they had blueberries mixed in some of the batter. My mom and dad enjoyed their fresh farm breakfast.

Nick is an excellent server if you get him. I thought the food wasn't that great, but the others in my group quite enjoyed it.
