This was our first time trying this place. We had a coupon from clipper magazine for free garlic rolls with the purchase of a large one topping pizza. We ordered half black olives, half cheese. I liked the pizza. It was thin, the crust was good, and the sauce tasted like fresh tomatoes. The garlic rolls, however, made me feel kind of sick. They were super oily and the garlic was almost overpowering. I like the idea of them but they were just too much for me. We will probably order from here again, but we will pass on the rolls and just stick with the pizza.

I have to agree with the most recent reviews on here. This place needs some serious training in customer service. Maybe have someone at the counter who knows how to smile? Or possibly greet their customers when they walk in the door? Instead, the television was so loud I couldn't even hear the girl at the counter. I was made to feel like I was bothering them by asking a few questions. (It was our first time there) Don't worry, we won't bother you again. I'm giving it two stars because the pizza was actually decent and it was made in a timely manner.

Walking in you are NOT greeted by the rude girl behind the register with blue hair who is dressed as if going to a Halloween party. The customer service there is deplorable and I wonder how they are even still open. The dining room is small and I was uncomfortable going in there, having to walk by a female employee feeding her infant in its stroller, as if they were at home. I thought I'd give them one more try because the pizza is acceptable. Not good enough to compensate for the many other inadequacies.

So I have only been to this place once and my yelp review of it was not that bad. It mentioned that the pizza was okay and the environment was very nice though certain things were lacking. One of the things I talked about was the person who served us. Everything about her was fine, more or less, but I was unhappy with her willingness to accept an offer from my elderly mother to walk to the Starbucks and buy her coffee. I thought it was unprofessional and that as an employee, she should have politely declined. However, in my review I was not rude about it nor was I angry about it. Now, I would like to update my review due to the fact that her mother (apparently the owner of Brooklyn Boys Pizza) responded to my review with a very rude, very biased comment. Because, of course, her daughter could do no wrong? Well, she did, and rather take the review and learn from it, the owner has decided that it wasn't her daughters responsibility to be professional in this situation rather it was my responsibility to control another human being. I'm sorry to say that I feel bad for the poor girl who obviously doesn't have much of a role model in the professional sense. No wonder she didn't know that it was inappropriate to accept such an offer. In case it has to be said, I would not suggest going to this location especially if you plan on writing a review. There's better pizza in better places with better people. EDIT: And now that I've written this updated review, the manager keeps messaging me saying I'm a horrible person and that her daughter is wonderful and I shouldn't be writing reviews and that I'm just mean. So much so that I had to block her. Seriously. EDIT: so today I checked my yelp to post a review about a comic book store and noticed I had a message. When I checked it, it was from yet another owner of Brooklyn Boys Pizza offering me apologies for the previous owners comments here on yelp as well as with a free large delivery pizza. I assumed it was a bribe to take down my yelp review. So I called in to check the validity of the offer and they told me that that person was not authorized to give out that code and that no such offer stood. Now, I don't care that they receded their offer. I didn't like their pizza when I first tried it anyway. What I care about is the game that this company is playing. They need to seriously get their act together, start communicating with each other, and step up their game!

Walked in place was clean and nice. Ordered pep/Hawaiian pizza. The Hawaiian pizza was great. The crust was just right. The sauce was very good. Overall the pizza was good and service was good. Price is high, but I would rather pay for a good pizza instead of a 10 dollar pizza that's not good.I will go back.

Very disappointing. The rolls were too oily for my taste and the Supreme pizza had NO sauce. The chicken wings' breading was falling off & wet. We were looking forward to an alternative to the norm (papa johns etc) but I guess we will stick to the norm. Will say though the pepperoni pizza was decent thankfully.

First time here. I have been waiting in anticipation for this place to open. The dining room is quite small (seats 16 and 4 table tops) so it is more of a delivery or carryout place. The dining room hums of refrigerator and appliance noises as there is no TV or music playing. Besides the sound the smell of the baking dough fills the air, putting a smile on your face as soon as you enter. One thing I really like as well was that I was greeted immediately as I walked in by a young man behind the register. First impressions are always the most important. After ordering I was told it would take 20 to 25 mins so writing this review is how I filled my time. They do not have free wifi but you can pick up a very faint signal from Creamy World yogurts place a few doors down. Well my pizza is here, not in the 20 mins quoted but in 12. Nice! I'll tell everyone how it is in another post.

I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY and Fugeddaboutit" this is not Brooklyn pizza. I do have to say the staff did have the Brooklyn attitude down, no smiles, no thank you. I was disappointed to say the least.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
