Went here during soft opening with a limited menu on a Friday night. Staff was friendly, yet unprofessional. Staff was cussing behind bar as well as texting, manager had a on vulgar t-shirt. I wasn't offended by anything, but this not a place to bring children. The bar is big with a decent selection of draft beers and boxed wine. Beer was served warm and in plastic cups. The cups were 12oz but they still cost as much as a pint anywhere else. We ordered a burger with an egg on top and their signature sandwich. The meat on the burger was good, but nothing special. The egg was overcooked. The fries that sat under the burger were uncooked and saturated with oil. The signature sandwich, which had fries on it, fell apart instantly. Probably will give it another shot down the road when they figure somethings out.

IF you are looking for a place just to drink, then this place is a decent choice. I would expect more from the menu even if it is a bar but it's no where near a decent bar n grill. The burger was good. The patty did not taste frozen or premade which is a plus. The homemade fries would have been great if they were actually hot/warm. My friends' meals were not so great - mainly the sandwiches on the French bread with fries n slaw on it. It was not edible. Also, there was a strong cleaning taste from the tea. The waitress didn't seem bothered by it and still charged me for it. In addition, there were large portions of the menu crossed off. No salads... They sell 10 wings but not 20? Doesn't make sense... So, the only options are sandwiches n fries n slaw. Unless they offer more menu options, become more service orientated, I don't plan to return. There are plenty of other sports bars within the area which offer better food, atmosphere and service.

This place is not bad. We came in a little later on a Saturday night, so they weren't too busy. Our server was nice, friendly, and did a great job. The menu was still limited, which was surprising, so things were marked out with an "X". Nice beer selection. The food was good, nothing amazing. It was a cool atmosphere with live music (not super great, but ok music). We will definitely be back to watch some Steelers games!

This place is great any of the negative reviews all seem to be from right after open. Staff is all real friendly, amazing food as usual from Piranhas. Glad the owner opened this location. When you go be sure to try to mini doughnut or the regular one you will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. Aside from the two of us there were a few tables of elderly people and a family with a special needs member. The music (radio not live) was blaring. We asked if they could turn it down just enough that we could talk across the table and hear each other. The waitress happily did. A few rock songs later and it was louder than before. This coming from someone who likes loud music! We ended up paying our bill and leaving to go somewhere else and talk. The only ones not grimacing at the volume of the music were the workers goofing off behind the bar. At least half of the already small menu was marked out with a sharpie and unavailable. We ended up getting wraps. Friend got a cheesesteak wrap and I got the grilled chicken wrap. Both wraps were good. Fries were pretty disgusting and we ended up not eating them. Friend had cole slaw as a side and didn't care for it. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Kitchen service was slow though, especially for such an empty restaurant. Lots of workers standing around with no much to do. Doubt I'll ever return and definitely won't recommend.

My husband and I ventured here one night while my mom watched our baby. We told our waitress Nikki that it was our first night without the baby and she said she'd buy our first round of drinks - wow! We ordered a rum and diet and my husband had a whiskey coke. Not only were they small, but disgusting. Oh well, they were free, right? We split the pastrami sandwich....don't bother. There were such a minimal amount of meat and the fries were subpar. My husband ordered another beer - since she said the first round was on her - and we sat and listened to the live music. We mentioned that the drinks weren't what we were expecting and she said that the bartender that night doesn't pour good drinks, but we should come back on Wednesdays when she's bartending and she pours better drinks. Kind of weird to diss your coworkers. 20 minutes later our bill rolls around. Our first round was NOT taken off. Instead $5 was taken off the bill...which didn't even pay for one drink. So we paid over $30 for a lousy round of drinks and a sandwich we'll never order again. Disappointing.

Food and service were okay but the menu has several things crossed off with black marker. So unprofessional and disappointing. There was not one thing left on the menu that could be misconstrued as somewhat healthy. I won't be back unless they overhaul the menu or start selling 3 for 1 beers.

Piranhas is the perfect place to watch the game, sip on some good drinks, and eat some good food. The staff is always so friendly, fun, and accommodating. They will put on any game on any of their many TVs. This location is a refreshing new take on the original downtown location. It's more open and family friendly, but still maintains the originality and excitement from before. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because this is a new location and they are still working out a few kinks as with any new restaurant. Newcomers should keep this in mind. This definitely isn't Applebee's or Buffalo Wild Wings, but that's what makes it so desirable. It's original. I wish more places in Mt. Juliet had the same relaxed, fun atmosphere as Piranhas. Food suggestions: order the Italian Stallion with garlic fries! They are Pittsburgh style sandwiches so it comes with fries and slaw on top (available on the side too). YUM!

Great burgers though a bit pricey. Our server was great and very attentive. However, it took over an hour to get our food for a table of eight and several table who came in after us got their food before us. When I brought it the attention of the manager, she seemed apologetic but didn't go to the kitchen staff to expedite our food. I guess, for a normal size table, this is a great spot. Again, my burger was really good. However, with my large family, we won't be going back.

Pirahana's Mt Juliet fixed everything that was wrong with their downtown location. Their capicola sandwich tonight was a delicious reminder of how good their food is. Don't forget to add the fried egg. It is one of the best sandwiches around. This location is open, not smokey, and has a large bar. Don't be scared of the negative reviews that came before mine.

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday and were very happy with Piranhas. Happy hour today included half off drafts all day and buy one get one sandwiches. This might be a limited time offer to build a customer base but my wife and I took advantage nonetheless. The caveat is that you have to get the sandwich "their way" meaning slaw and fries on the sandwich. I'm not a fan of slaw but my wife is and said it was some of the best she's had. It was easy to remove the slaw from my Cajun chicken. The staff was attentive and we will definitely be back!

Our first clue should have been the near-empty parking lot at 1:00 on a Monday afternoon; the second should have been the fact that only two tables were occupied when we walked in. But, we'd heard good things about their capicola sandwich, so we wanted to try it. My husband ordered the capicola ... he said the meat must have cooked earlier and reheated, and the bread was soggy. I ordered the classic burger - well done. I know, well done can be overdone in many places - here it wasn't even fully cooked (still pink in the middle and mushy). When I sent it back for further cooking, they put the same burger, cooked slightly more, onto the same (now cold/soggy) fries that I had returned in the basket with the burger. Not impressed. Our waitress was happy to refill my husbands water, but never once asked me if I wanted a refill on my soda. Then, when we had given up and were trying to get our check, everyone (cook, waitress, etc.) had disappeared! Another waitress (very sweet) was kind enough to find our bill, took off the burger from the bill, and apologized for our experience. Not somewhere I would recommend, or ever try again.

Food and service are good...salads are listed on the menu, but they don't have salads...also no desert...nothing like a good piece of Cheesecake after a bacon burger..

Walked in, spoke to a waitress, sat at a table for about 45 seconds before we came to our senses and left. Granted, the place had only opened the day before, but it was not a good start. Will try again in a few months, but I don't have great expectations.

Atmosphere isn't the greatest, track lighting made you feel as if you were constantly in the spotlight. For a bar, I was surprised they only had single stall bathrooms. The food is good, but not anything you would go out of the way to go get. Drinks are cheap, but couldn't shake the dive bar vibe.
