French 101 is amazing. So is mid term meltdown!! Only problem is.... Service. We got there and the girl who took our money and order was very rude & unhelpful. Bar had rowdy people yelling at my friend and I. Not a great atmosphere, great food though. DELIVERY is my vote.

Probably the best drink special in memphis and if you're lucky enough to get her, Athena is as attentive as welcoming as you can hope for in a bartender. Side bar: maybe the best chicken tender I've ever had... That's what happens when you bread and fry them in house.

I was trying to decide what I wanted for dinner. It came down to delivery, and I was sick of pizza. After browsing some sites, I came across this college grub joint. It seemed like it had potential. I ordered the Tiger Balls, some cheese tots and a double cheeseburger. The delivery was quick. The tiger Balls were amazing. Good flavour, great texture. Not too spicy, but not bland. I recommend them. The burger was a little light. Go for the three patty next time. The flavour was good though. The tots were disappointing. Maybe I will try the fries next time. Overall, great experience.

The food was good. But I was overcharged $2. This would be a 4-5 star review if I didn't feel like I got ripped off. We had two double burgers (4.99 each), one order of fries ($3.99) and two tap waters (typiclaly free). Total with tax should have been $15.26. Instead it was $17 and some change. I guess I was charged a buck each for the waters. I dunno. I didn't get an itemized receipt. I will be back because I really liked the fries. (the burgers really aren't any better than Steak and Shake). But I'll be more careful checking the total next time. Even with the overcharge, It was still a decent deal. It's hard to get a good lunch for two for less than $20 bucks.

I have lived in the University district for a couple of years now and kept putting off trying Ubee's. I was a bit upset at the size of the burger but the taste more than made up for it. Then top it off with homemade fries (my weakness) and this place could become a go to place when I want a burger and fries. It's much tastier than a fast food meal and only a couple bucks more. I ordered out but I will say that the short time I was in there I was impressed with the setup. They had a stocked bar and tv's each direction you looked. Will be back here for sure.

I haven't actually eaten IN this restaurant in years...but I do order delivery from them quite a bit...like an embarrassing amount. You see, I am lazy. And I don't like to leave the house sometimes. And they have good food. And quite the variety. So no matter what kind of mood I'm in (or my boyfriend's in), I can find something that I like. I am not a fan of salads delivered but their salads are really tasty and travel very well. Plus you can order online without having to call...like I said, I'm lazy and sometimes don't want to talk to people. So this place is a really big win for me. Oh yeah, and they deliver until 3 am...when I'm drunk at home after a bottle of wine, this is an even bigger score because I never have food in my fridge...like ever.

Really good food. It's kind of greasy, but I really don't know what else you'd expect. The burgers are juicy and delicious, but the meat to not-meat ratio could be better, and my burger had a little too much mustard. The spinach artichoke dip is awesome, but the chips aren't so great. Dodge the chips altogether and dip your fries in it, if you know what's good (ahem, really, really bad) for you.

Awful. The last two times I tried to order from Ubees was a disaster. Back in December 2014, I placed a delivery order. The delivery address is only three blocks away. After an hour and a half, I called Ubees and they hadn't even made the order yet. I let them make it and bring it to me. Today I decided to try again. Mind you, it's been 6 months since the last incident. I placed an order online. Gave my credit card info. An hour later I called them because I had not seen anyone yet. They claimed to not even have the order. Even though I have an email receipt for it. Needless to say, I will never bother with Ubees again. I tried to eat there because they delivered to my job. The food is not that great anyways. Thank you for wasting my time and money

Haven't been here in a while so I figured I would get a triple burger. Wasn't as good as I remember it. But I am partial to Dyer's Downtown Lol. All in all its still a nice place with good food.

My friend and I were just having a conversation about prison. Specifically about being raped in prison. She thought that I should be fine since I am a big guy and can fend for myself, while I countered with the argument that big guys just get gang-raped. So with the concept of thugs violating one (or more) of my cavities you would think that the idea of balls near any orifice would turn my stomach. Then I read the menu for Ubee's. Ubee's has an appetizer available called Tigerballs, and I honestly never thought I'd be so happy to put balls in my mouth. Listen to the description: "chicken breast stuffed with melted jack cheese and jalapenos, wrapped in bacon and deep fried." Wipe your mouth, you're embarrassing yourself. Is that actually what tiger balls are made out of? If so, i see why they're endangered. That menu item alone was enough to get me in the door. Ubee's is right across from the Stratum on Highland and has a pretty significant delivery radius and time window. If you shed your clothes the minute you walk in your door like a pre-adolescent snake with image issues, that is welcome news for you. Let's face it: No one leaves the house once the pants come off. If you eat in the restaurant, it's set up cafeteria style. You walk in and place your order at the register, and then you can walk down the aisle and gaze awkwardly at the people making your food behind a (hopefully) sanitary glass panel. This place actually fries their burgers and they have a vat of grease in a cast iron skillet where the action happens. I think if you fail to specify what you want on your burger it comes with mustard and pickles, maybe onions too. I'm not sure if you can dress the burger to your specifications, but I think you can. While the idea of the menu is intriguing, the execution is a little lacking. The burger ends up tasting like a slightly better, significantly larger Krystal burger, with the added benefit of additional patties. The tiger balls could have benefited from some seasoning and more cheese and jalapenos; the latter combination is almost lost in all the meat. They do offer tater tots (always a win) to which you can add chili and cheese and home made fries that are supposedly great. The space itself is a little tiny, with a number of small tables. In the back, there is a dart board and an arcade game for all the young bucks with short attention spans. Just a tip: the bathrooms were a little grimy when I went so you may want to hold it.

We drove 7 hours to get to Memphis, so when we got to the hotel we were tired of driving! Ubee's was only 4 minutes away. That's the reason we chose to go, and I am so glad we did! My husband ordered a Double U, and I had the French 101. Both were amazing! Fresh, hot, and quick! The fries were homemade and also delicious. Workers were kind but super busy. Would love to go again!

This place has the worst customer service ever. Their map shows that they deliver inside the 240 loop (which I am located). I called tonight to place a delivery (which I have ordered delivery several times before) and tonight it seems that it is was a problem. When I asked if they changed delivery range, I was hung up on. When I called back and asked what the problem was, I was hung up on again. I will never be back to this establishment ever again. Last time I was I was there, I saw vomit all over the bathroom and bar area. I previously looked over this heinous disregard for public safety, but now I want it to be known by all. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from here.

Yummy, greasy American classics like diner-style cheese burgers, spinach and artichoke dip, fresh french fries, etc. etc. with ONLINE ORDERING! and DELIVERY UNTIL 3am !! ?! We need more places offering these services around Memphis! Especially in the University/Midtown area.

I spent most of my college career drinking here... Its a hole in the wall that not many people really rave about. My freshman/sophomore year it was always packed... But now I think its a little less popular. By far the best happy hour I have stumbled upon... from 9-10pm 7 days a week is Animal Hour and they offer two for one well drinks and beer. Almost everyday of the week has a drink special too! The food is great drunk food... GREASY!.... They do offer really amazing salads. I love there GoGo Granny salad! They also offer hummus and pitas which I love! It also delivers and they are open late! If you live around campus or you are looking for a good happy hour.. Ubees is the place to go!

I wish I could review the food. The service was so bad that I never got the chance to eat it. They delivered the order and it appeared that my order was not included. We called ubees back and stated that my order was not there. The person on the phone told us we were lying and that he bagged the order himself. We were not giving the chance to explain that they made two orders the same. This is only my second experience with ubees in six years and they both have been horrible . I will not give them a third chance to disappoint me. Please learn some customer service skills .

Love the burgers and fries. Service can be a little spotty, but if you want a good, greasy burger to really hit the spot, Ubee's is the place.

Love that this place is open late! I'm a HUGE fan of their deep fried Snickers! Yes I said deep fried Snickers! Yum! We enjoyed our Ubee Cheesy burgers and the BBQ nachos are to die for! The round booths are clutch too as we had a big group and we were all able to sit together. The service was really good and they were friendly and helpful even though they don't have table service. We were told immediately that we were Supposed to order our food and drinks at the bar and they cleared our table as we finished each dish. I almost forgot! TIGER BALLS! OMG this is fried chicken stuffed with chess and jalapeños and wrapped in bacon! Yes a heart attack waiting to happen but so worth it! Mmm! I will be back for sure! Can't wait to try out more deep fried goodies!

So you want to try a Dyer's burger but you don't want to visit Beale St? Just visit Ubee's on Highland St. and order the "Two Timer." A double patty, double cheese burger, that is the same sandwich as the popular "Double Double" at Dyer's. The double patty is a must since the beef patty is pounded so very thin before being deep fried and dressed with mustard, pickle and onion. A single patty just will not suffice. The hand cut fries were fresh and tasty. If you want a good, greasy, agreeable burger and fries, and your partner wants something a bit more healthy, Ubee's can accommodate them too. Other options for sandwich or salad can be found without the grease and calories. Service was friendly, prices were fair. Ubee's and Dyer's are under the same ownership.

Ubee's lives up to its reviews. Jonesin' for a burger, I drove from my office in Bartlett for lunch and grabbed a colleague to ride shotgun. I ordered a Two Timer, Ubee-speak for a double-double. She ordered the single version. We both ordered fresh-cut fries. Both were about as good as burgers and fries can get. The patties are thin--my preference--and we noted that you need the two patties to get the burger-to-bun ratio right. I love my fries crisp. These hit the mark. I wish this place was across the street from my office.

First visit here and it was worth the drive from Germantown to U of M area. I was to meet a friend at Juicy Jim's (CLOSE AND DOORS LOCKED TIGHT) so we went on a search for something new to us. Ubees is quietly tucked in just off of Southern & Highland shopping mall area, right behind Lenney's Subs with ample parking too. This is a burger joint who knows their trade very well. There is nothing fancy outside of the Tiger Blue everywhere, but come on...what do you expect right across the street from the University of Memphis. What you should expect and are granted in spades is a really good burger and some of the best fresh cut fries around. You can also expect just the college kids do to get this awesome burger combo for less than $10. You heard me right...for twice the burger size and four times better in taste than a "Wendie's Single combo" you can hang with your friends and enjoy great music and free refills in your very own take home reusable & dishwasher safe souvenir Ubees cup. Oh, & they serve Beer and looks like they have a full bar too...now you'll never find that in a Wendie's. Good stuff as far as burgers and Fries go so take my advice and check this place out.

You've got to be kidding me right??? How have I lived in Memphis for this long now and not a sole has directed me to Ubee's?! This place puts Huey's to shame by about a million times over- no joke. They have chili-cheesified tater tots. Yes, you read that correctly. As if tater tots weren't good enough, they can smother yours with chili and cheese. Their fries are homemade and delicious as well, but how can I be expected to focus on fries when there are tater tots to be consumed? In case this little nugget of goodness didn't send you running straight to your car, their burgers are the best I have had in Memphis. I feel so confident in that statement, I would wear a shirt confirming it. Better yet, I will allow Ubee's to hire me to fancy-spin a sign saying so at the corner of their driveway on Highland, and I despise fancy sign spinners. This burger was completely not at all what I was expecting. It is hot off the grill and has this thinner,char-grilled, crunchy crust around the edges. The flavors inside the actual meat mixture are amazing and can sustain the whole sandwich because they only dressed mine with a dollop of mustard and some pickles. I loved this burger so much, I'm sitting here trying to convince myself it isn't ridiculous for me to go back for dinner. Ubee's isn't anything fancy to look at inside, but it's clean and they offer up a full bar and quite a few television screens to watch the game. SCORE! Bringing the man-friends won't be a problem on Sunday's during football season. If you live fairly close, Ubee's delivers till 3am, which is quite an accomplishment in Memphis. I second the gal who is thanking her lucky stars she doesn't live within the radius of delivering. If I did, I might have already had 2-3 more of those mouth watering burgers delivered to my door today. I shudder to think what an issue this might become.

I don't need delivery until three in the morning but it is nice to know I have the option. This is one of the few places in the area that delivers and the food is pretty good. I'm a huge fan of the UB-Que salad and my daughter loves their cheeseburger and spinach dip.

I have been to the location and I can say that it is clean and the people were friendly (and has a full bar. yes!), but i usually just order delivery. 4 main points: 1) I like the wings here. They actually have a lot of good appetizers, though I'm a wing guy myself and I can say I'm satisfied with what they have to offer here. 2) At least their normal hamburgers/cheeseburgers are served (normal sized and on normal buns) with the same kind of condiments as a Krystal burger - mustard, onions, pickles, no veggies. i personally enjoy this very much, their burgers taste great. they serve salads so i'm sure you can ask for tomato and lettuce on the burger, but i enjoy the flavor of their burgers, 3) TATER TOTS - they serve tater tots. crisp tater tots. what kind of end of the night college student doesn't want to devour towers of tater tots? fortunately they deliver late, until 3AM. try the tater tots. seriously. they're good. 4) Good salads - I am a carnivorous omnivore to be sure, I love my meat, but the salads here are good enough for me to order a vegg salad for dinner sans meat. their salads are very fresh, not the disappointing iceberg disasters you find on some restaurants' menus. they have an excellent greek salad, and a number of other salads that i have enjoyed. Their dressings are pretty tasty. In sum, it's hard to wrong with Ubee's. Since they have a full bar it's a good place to hang out and grab some drinks and some grub. I prefer its late delivery options (and sometimes order in the daytime as well) and its simple menu of fresh burgers, sandwiches, and salads. i'm a meat eater but i love their vegetarian options, including the dirty hippie, an excellent portabella and artichoke sandwich with red pepper and feta on ciabatta. yum. it's good for food, it's good for drinks, it's good for delivery. try it, you won't regret it.

I LOVE UBEESSS!! (not to be confused with Newbys, which is a few doors down!) The service here is always fantastic, and everyone is so friendly! So.. Its Midnight, and your craving a burger and tots, but your too lazy to get off the couch, and drive. not a problem.. Ubees DELIVERS!!.. until like.. 3AM!! (this could be dangerous!!) My favorite things from Ubees.. *Hip Dip- delicious spinach & artichoke dip! *Classic burger w/ cheese- soo juicy!.. with FRIES .. of coarse! *French 101- chicken and feta, on a croissant.. what a perfect combo! *Dirty Hippie- when I need a veggie fix * U LaLa- SHRIMPP!! *Go Granny Salad- when I feel like eating healthy! :) AND of coarse you have to finish your meal with the .... CHOCOLATE COBBLER!! (warm it up in the mirco-wave with some vanilla ice creamm.. soo ONO!) They usually have some good coupons on their website, and also have a really good Happy Hourr!!

we have never been there to eat but we have gotten delivery from there and will again. we had a salad and a shrimp sandwich from there. the food is priced reasonable and the quality of the food is really good. i had the go go granny salad with granny smith apples, walnuts and blue cheese. it was fresh, crisp and a large portion dinner salad. i added grilled chicken to it and it was super tasty. my hubby got the u la la sandwich with shrimp, spinach, roasted tomatoes, & basil aioli on a croissant. it's a yummy bargain for 6.99. cheaper and healthier than a shrimp po boy offered by other places. check out their menu. it has quite the variety of items and they have fun names. gotta love some place who doesn't take themselves too seriously. the food is reasonable and they deliver. i am thinking for some future sports watching that this might be the place to be or at least order from.

This is a food place by day and a bar by night. This review is from the bar aspect. The only reason I give this two stars is because I have noticed it is a popular place. I have seen lots of people here and I also here it has good food. But truth be told, this place is small. Its small inside and its small outside. When you go out and want to go to the bar or a place to chill for a while you at least want room to breathe. This place does not offer that. The have places to sit inside and outside and they have a tv inside but I just can't get over the fact of how small it is. It's a shame how popular this place is when RP Billiards is literally right around the corner and it is much nicer plus they have pool tables and dartboard and a large bar where more than 3 people can sit. When people go out of course they like to sit and talk but they also like to stand up and walk around maybe mingle a little bit and this place simple does not offer that. I am willing to bet I could walk from the outside patio all the way to the back wall on the inside of the building in about twenty steps. I have not "tried" this place and don't plan on it simply for the lacking of atmosphere. I would bet most people who call this a great bar have never been to a REAL bar.

Ubee's is a combination bar/restaurant, with equal space dedicated to booths/burgers as to a bar and hangout space (with a Wii!). It's pretty quiet during the day, so I'll just comment on the food. I had the Midterm Meltdown, a double cheeseburger patty melt. I loved it. Delicious. The tater tots were very good-- hot and tasty and not fried too hard. They have root beer on tap. There are giant squeeze bottles of ketchup on every table. All of these are pluses. My sister swears by the Yummus, but I haven't tried it. Other favs amongst family members are the double cheeseburger, the French 101 panini, and a make-your-own panini with shrimp and bacon. Oh man, that one sounded good, too. I don't remember exact prices, but it's fairly cheap. Very friendly counter staff, too, ready to offer a kind word, or a recommendation if you're not sure what you want. Thumbs up, guys. I'll be back to try more tasty foods.

Oh, Ubee's. I sort of love you. The skinny on Ubee's: 1. Their food is okay. They make gigantic, decent salads and serve them to you in big metal mixing bowls, which is kind of fun. They have these horrendously greasy burgers that taste good if you're into that sort of thing, which I guess most people are. They serve tater tots. Be still my heart. Their other sandwiches are all pretty tasty, though nothing to write home about. 2. The people are AWESOME. They are honestly the most friendly people ever. I'm a Yankee from Philly and I love me some Phillies baseball. Needless to say, it's hard to find somewhere to watch the games. During playoffs last year, the best I could do was a sports bar with the sound off. I came to Ubee's and they put the game on for me in this little nook area with a couple of couches and turned the volume on and were just totally friendly. I ended up watching the rest of the games here and they accommodated me every time. Other, non-game times I've come in and just hung out chatting with them, I've also found them to be great people. Even when I call up to get food delivered (which is a sin because I live like 11 seconds away), they are cheery on the phone. 3. Speaking of delivery... they are open til 3 am. I don't think they charge for delivery, but if they do it's only like a dollar. So if it's raining or you're lazy or whatever, give em a call basically any hour. 4. They are cheap. They run tons of specials on drinks and, even when they don't, their food and drinks are cheap. 5. Smoke-free. 6. The interior is kind of fast-food'y, which makes them a less-than-ideal weekend hangout spot. Ubee's is a great little spot with good people. Go in and have a beer and burger and chat with their friendly servers. If you want to watch something on TV, speak up. Oh, but avoid their karaoke night. It'll make your blood run cold.

The patty melt is really, really good and greasy. I also had the hummus and I liked that. The chocolate cobbler was really good but I was expecting it to look like a peach cobbler except replace the peaches with chocolate. But the whole thing is actually chocolate, including the bread/cobbler part, so it's more like a deconstructed chocolate lava cake type situation. Still awesome, just not what I expected. Just so you know. Also, fountain drinks!
