Good consistent food. I eat here a lot when traveling because you always know you'll get a good meal. The Hours of Happy is an interesting menu with drink and snacks ranging from $3-7 for 3:00-7:00 pm. Good way to try some new eats!! I ordered the kale and quinoa dip not knowing what to expect... It arrived with a handful of crushed pita chips. Thankfully the runner saw it and made the decision to get me a new plate of chips. Ultimately I won't order the dip again... It was cold and the seasoning on the chips overpowered it all. The orange peel shrimp was delish, but again, it always is!!

Just what you would expect. I like PFs but they seem to be getting skimpy with their Sushi rolls. The spicy tuna rolls were a disappointment. The bar tender was quite good and the Korean BBQ Chicken dish was nice and spicy. All in all not bad but pretty ordinary. I have had better at PFs. Despite this the atmosphere and accommodations were great. See you all soon on my next trip.

Overpriced, underwhelming Asian cuisine. The service was not half bad, if a bit slow. This review is mostly about the food. I ordered beef with broccoli, with a side of the Sichuan asparagus. The entree was coated in a thick, viscous sauce that resembled teriyaki, but with the salty, one-note flavor profile worse than something Lean Cuisine would offer. The meat was chewy and rubbery, and tasteless on its own. The broccoli was undercooked and also tasteless. Everything was overpowered by the sauce. The asparagus were thin, woody stalks coated in another thick brown slime, this one with slightly more kick to it, but still overwhelmingly salty. I thought mixing the asparagus into the main dish would help, but I was sadly mistaken. It was just one big sticky, salty, chewy mess. Certainly not worth the price tag, considering you can get better quality food at a third of the price in an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet. Overall, there's a polished shine on this turd of a restaurant chain, but it doesn't hold up. They offer Hot Pocket-quality food for country club prices, and I found myself almost immediately regretting my choice to come here within two bites. I won't be back, and I would urge other guests to look elsewhere for their dining options.

This is a solid chain. They have a ton of menu items including those with alternatives for dietary restrictions. The food is as expected. All in all, it's a nice spot with good happy hour options and a decent patio. That's good enough for me at the end of my eight hours!

First it took over 15 minutes with two small kids sitting with us before my wife had enough and complained about lack of service. Second, people came in after us and were seen faster. Third, the manger was BSing with some waiters at the hot pass instead of doing his job. He never walked around and asked about their service. The rest of my family's food was good, but my kung pao chicken was salty (couldn't finish it). I would not recommend this restaurant.

While one certainly doesn't (or shouldn't) go to PF Chang's for authentic Chinese food, the food here on the whole is pretty solid. I stopped here one night out of convenience sake (it was close to my hotel) for a quick and easy dinner. The spring rolls I had were friend (I'd always thought they were supposed to be cold, but what do I know?) but they were tasty. The Cantonese scallop dish I had was nice and light, exactly what I was looking for. The Manhattan was made well, and the wine selection was decent. It's certainly not something to seek out, but if you're in the area it's a solid dinner.

Hey ladies!!! Meat market at the bar! No seriously, I've never seen so many guys consistently at one place before. All in business suits looking distinguished and most importantly...by their lonesome. Anyways, it is P F Chang's and it can be yummy, definitely one of my favorite chain restaurants. I think it is a teensy bit overpriced but consistently good. I like consistent. And while every P F Chang's across the country looks the same, there is something comforting about that fact. You know exactly what you're going to get.

Consistent PF as one would expect. I find the menus to include a few new items, one of which was the lobster roll. The roll was loose and overly sauced. The mouthfeel was "synthetic mayo meets mustard". The fish was paper thin...all said I wasn't impressed but PF isn't a sushi place so they get a A for effort but F for the cost. The Ahi salad was great however! They work well when they stay in their wheel house.

P F Chang's was my favorite place to eat in high school...which was very long time ago. I think I've ignored this trusty chain considering all the new amazing and exciting restaurants which keep popping up in Memphis. BUT, I ate here with a group of friends tonight and was reminded about how good the food is! The interior is nice, though hasn't really changed in the past 10 years. Menu has changed though, lots of great healthy options as well as gluten free entrees. I did miss that fact that they stopped mixing the dipping sauces at the table. Can't really go wrong with what you order here though the lettuce wraps (chicken or tofu) are a must! Service is great. One of our dishes was incredibly salty and our waitress took it back and off the ticket without any questions. Come here if you have a craving for American-Chinese, you won't be disappointed!

Service was great. Our waitress helped my husband and I decide on what to eat and it was amazing! Highly recommend for lunch time, it was not crowded and the lunch menu has some good options.

This was my second time eating here. I must say it was way better than the first. I had the ginger chicken and broccoli with fried rice...DELICIOUS! The egg rolls and egg drop soup were on point. Our server, Ashley was great. I also noticed the 99 score they received from the health department. Great restaurant.

Fresh food. Great sauces. Nice variety. Great dining experience. Fresh veggies and alternatives if vegetarian. Food is always served hot and made to order. Huge portion sizes.

Sitting here after having a very poor experience tonight - ordered the hot n sour soup and chicken lettuce wraps. Pretty straight forward fare here- both were served Luke warm- if I get sick later I'll know why, I even had to ask the server for a napkin. Off their game for a Sat night and to think I passed up the buffet in Tunica.

Every time I order take-out my food is overcooked. Can't pay that much money for food that is hard to eat or unappealing. I have stopped going and found a different place.

Food is good solid American Chinese - the three course Valentine's hot n spicy dinner for two had humungo portions and was about $80 plus tip and two alcoholic drinks.

I don't get all the complaining about its inauthentic Chinese food. What the average American thinks of as Chinese food is probably not what people in China actually eat, but dishes invented here. Besides, most chain restaurants offering anything that isn't straightforward American food won't be authentic. Anyway. I like it here. I like it for what it is: a restaurant. It's a little overpriced (depending on what you order here, you can get it for a bit cheaper if you go to Pei Wei - same ownership, same recipes) but there's added ambiance here. I'm so glad they added booths along the windows. It got very annoying that there were only four or five huge booths in the back, so unless you were lucky enough to snag one before the dinner rush, you had to sit in an uncomfortable chair. Aside from one bad experience here (which says a lot as I have been coming to this location since they opened), the service is always great. The servers are always friendly, really great about checking on you just often enough and finding that great middle ground between hovering and ignoring you. I don't think I've ever had an instance where I've sat there after a meal thinking, "God, will they EVER bring the ticket?" They are pretty good about introducing new items into their menu, and the new stuff seems like it's pretty authentic. I can't think of anything that's been taken off, I've been lucky that what I like hasn't been removed so either I haven't noticed or they've only been adding things. Oh, and the desserts. They have those little shot glass desserts which are heaven. The little Great Wall of Chocolate...irguehgrgiommrge. The full scale version is worthy of being a last meal ever kind of thing, so the shot glass size is a less guilty but probably still way too indulgent (so I hardly ever order it). I've never even tried any of the other ones. I've heard other ones are good, but I don't even remember which ones. They have like eight varieties though, so unless you hate sweets, they'll have something you like. One downside is yes, the noise. When it gets crowded, the acoustics are its downfall. The sound kind of builds in the middle of the ceiling and just...gets amplified. I kinda like things quiet so I can end up sitting there thinking, "Why would you scream louder to be heard over everyone else?" or "Why do I feel like I'm back at a high school cafeteria?" So I just try to go during off-peak times where I can hear my fork scrape against my plate and be satisfied that I'm annoying everyone...kidding.

I have had great experiences at PF Chang's. The atmosphere is nice, cozy, and inviting. The food is good, but like most others have posted, is a bit on the pricey side for this style of food. Service was very good and I left the restaurant not feeling hungry so don't think you are not getting your moneys worth. This is not a weekly place I would indulge in but I will be coming back.

The service was outstanding and it was fairly priced. A little more than you'd pay at your typical Asian bistro but, the service made it worth it. The food however is why its getting 3 stars. The rice was more like oatmeal and had just as much flavor. The food tastes like it comes from a frozen bag and just in general wasn't worth raving about. The dessert however absolutely awesome! I think next time I will try the sushi a friend of ours got it and said it was great. My husband had the honey chicken and I had the sesame chicken. Again it was alright but, nothing to write home about. $60 for both of us and we got very generous portions. All and all I'd go back.

I always tend to think of the place as overpriced then I'm surprised when the bill comes - in a pleasant surprise way. Yes it's Americanized - that's A-Ok to this super American girl. Things I like: The ambience The patio The mixing of the dipping sauces The service The food Things I don't like: The open dinning room can get a little loud at times. This is a very popular date place, I've been on many a first date here over the years. It's nice enough to not look cheap but not to fancy to set too high of expectations should the relationship progress. Plus they have the curved booths. But it's not datey , mostly I've been with friends or family. Food wise I'm a fan of the crab ran goons, lettuce wraps, sweet and sour chicken, the lo mein and fried rice. Of course I usually get 3 to split with my dining companion and there's enough to have another meal or two - all for an under $40 tab. Yes please!

I recently tried their meal for two or dinner for two combo. It is for $40+tax. THIS COMBO CAN EASILY SERVE THREE PEOPLE. So, this is a big price saver. It includes 2 soups, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees and 1 dessert. You can choose only few selected items from the menu for entrees. But it still covers close to half of the options. The overall quantity is good enough for three people. It comes to around $15 per head including taxes (if you are a group of three). Try out this dinner combo if you visit P F Chang's frequently.

I'm usually not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but this place has consistently provided me with delicious food. The service has always friendly as well. I like the family style of serving they have. Order several main dishes and everyone can try everything off the serving plates. The only thing that keeps me from coming here more often is that the prices a little high. The last two things I tried here were the shaking beef and Mongolian chicken. The beef was peppery and had a delicious lime vinaigrette with it. The chicken was crispy and I loved the sauce on it as well.

Food was good as usual. Service sucked. Sat with an empty tea glass for 15 min or so. When it was time for the check she asked if I would like one to go. Won't go back to this location.

I'm going to be fair. I'm going to review a "fake" Chinese/Pan-Asian restaurant. First thing, price... TOO DARN EXPENSIVE... If not for the 10% cash back from my credit card company that P.F. Chang's have all the time, I don't think I'll come here. In P.F. Chang's defense, there actually are some authentic dishes here. Believe it or not, there is actually a P.F. Chang's in the Philippines, attracting mostly tourists and the rich, mostly as a bar. If you do a picture side by side comparison of dishes like Kung Pao Shrimp and Fried Rice of the PF Chang's Philippines vs any PF Chang's in America, clearly they are different. Majority of the dishes served at this Memphis branch would never sell in an authentic market especially not at the price they are asking for. Let's get on with the reviews on the authentic dishes. Shrimp with lobster sauce and everything on the "sides" menu, and the soups... That's it. And, also to be fair, that's more authentic dishes than many other Chinese restaurants in town. Let's start with the side dishes: spicy green beans, spinach with garlic, sichuan asparagus, and shanghai cucumbers. They are actually "cheap" in comparison to the rest of the menu and vegetarian. They are quite a bit on the greasy side though, too sweet, and rather small servings. The soups are actually quite good. I don't really need to talk about egg drop, hot & sour, and wonton, right? The chicken noodle soup is kind of on the sweet side, but as I understand it, it's very Malaysian. That said, I get my soups on at Mosa. The shrimp with lobster sauce I'm definitely a fan of. The sauce is black beans with eggs. I may be able to justify the $15 price for this due to the quality of the ingredients. I would say that I do also enjoy beef with broccoli and moo goo gai pan. Almost everything else on the menu I dislike, and I've tried their fried rice and all of their other sauces kung pao, hunan, orange peel, spicy, ginger, dali, etc. Mostly everything is just too sweet. When Wang's is right behind P.F. Chang's, I really don't know why anyone would come here without a coupon or discount of some kind. BTW, I do like the mixed drinks with Asian flair here.

A fine PF Changs. My husband loves this place so we eat at this chain with some frequency. This one had a few differences from others we have eaten at. The restaurant is convenient to several hotels and a mall so it had a fair number of diners present. A young girl kept screaching loudly which made our dinner slightly less pleasant. The beer selection was good for draft and others in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying a full bar. The food was good. We had the ma po tofu which was average, the pan fried eggplant which was better than normal and the double pan fried noodles, which were great with the exception of an enormous amount of sauce. We also had a side of spinach with garlic which was very well prepared. PF Changs always caters well to vegetarians and we always appreciate that. The service was mediocre. Our server was friendly and conversational but the service was a little slow overall and the hostess was not particularly helpful and we felt we were sat in a really odd place in the restaurant in spite other booths and tables being open. All in all a good dinner of the quality you would expect from PF Changs.

I gotta say -- I think this is the best Chinese food in Memphis. Yes, yes, I hear the complaints now -- "But it's a chain!" "But it's not authentic!" All true, but I have to give credit where credit's due, and my first experience here was a great one. Service was excellent. They've clearly got some kind of standardized training going on, and I like it! The boyfriend and I had the lettuce wrap appetizer, soup (hot and sour for him, egg drop for me), and the honey chicken and Mongolian beef entrees with a side of spinach. With the exception of the egg drop soup (which feels like the ever-present miso at sushi restaurants -- kind of a throwaway item), everything was really good. This is definitely not authentic in any sense, but that doesn't keep it from being tasty! Total cost for lunch was $35, which I'm totally fine with. And their patio is beautiful -- I couldn't believe anyone was sitting inside on such a nice day! I'll definitely come back next time I'm craving some Chinese food.

Awesome food as always, service is first rate and the place is clean. When I ordered, the waiter asked if I wanted to try the same dish cooked slightly different, and it turned out to be an excellent recommendation. It will continue to cost every establishment one star for every time they ask me if I want to eat at the bar when I dine alone. I understand they don't want one guy eating up space at a four top, but when two thirds of the tables are unoccupied, I should be afforded the choice not steered to the bar.

40 year old single white male business traveler This is a standard PF Changs. The food is the same at every location, and the employees act as if they work in a five star restaurant. The hostess, who appeared to be about 15, seemed to be completely put off that a 6 figure 40 year old guy would come into her himpster-house and sit at the bar. If the lettuce wraps were not so damn good, I probably would not go back, but I've been there twice and will definitely go back again. I sat at the bar hoping for some hot single woman to checkout or perhaps a girls night out. No luck. There were just a couple of older 40-something white guys like myself sitting at the bar. I'm guessing they were salesmen as they all seemed to be re-evaluating their lives. The hot bartender did not make small talk with anyone, and she seemed more interested in what was happening after work, instead of the people who pay her. I asked for a second beer, and she looked like I asked her for a kidney. Not a great experience, but then again, it's PF Chang's.

I went with a friend on a Sunday night and was greeted immediately. The ambiance was nice and our server was very attentive. We sampled a few items and were quite pleased. All questions were answered quickly in a knowledgable and articulate fashion. I will be returning with others! Overall, my guest and I had a pleasant time.

This isn't your Mother's Chinese Restaurant, it's sophisticated fusion cuisine. My party had the eggrolls, crab wontons and the spicy wontons. Nice presentation and awesome taste. My main course was the steamed salmon. The bed of asparagus wasn't as generous as I pictured, but the onions and mushrooms made up for it. An extra bonus was getting a bowl of brown rice on the side. The salmon was from Norway, and it was nicely done. The food took a while to get to the table (15 minutes or so), but I don't know if the kitchen was slow, the service slow (brought by an expediter, not our server), or the fact that it was Saturday night. Call ahead and make a reservation, which might cut down your wait time for a table.

The server was great but it took almost an hour to get the food and that was ordering off the lunch menu and there were only 4 other tables occupied at the time. Food wasn't worth the money. Both beef dishes were overcooked. The Beef and Broccoli tasted exactly like the Mongolian Beef. Not coming back. Don't waste your time or money and go to Wang's next door.

We always love PF Chang's, but for some reason, things just didn't seem quite the same this time. The Dynamite Shrimp that I usually love seemed a little off, and the ginger beer, while still delicious, didn't seem to be house-made anymore, but maybe made from syrup. Overall, it will still delicious, just maybe not as good as I was expecting.

good food, but bar servers rude and have an attitude. Ordered take out and a glass of wine. Bill closed out. Ordered another glass of wine and thought my bill had been revised. Started to leave, treated like a criminal. Saw other tab (not clear it was mine) for eleven bucks and waited patiently for change which never came so left a 20. Not going back for a while, though have been a once a week patron.

I went into this restaurant expecting to experience a taste of China. Nothing could be further from the truth...I didn't see one chinese worker in the entire place. It had the feeling of an American chain restaurant. When I eat Mexican, I like to eat authenic mexican. That's why I don't go to Chili's or Taco Bell for Mexican. The food at PF Changs tasted sweet as if the chef is adding a small amount of sugar into the food. I had the pepper steak with steamed rice and both tatsted sweet. There are simply too many good chinese restaurants in town for me to return.

I have written several reviews on Chinese restaurants; most of whom were unable to deliver good Chinese entrees. I am a big fan of P.F. Chang's kung pao chicken. It is the most authentic Chinese dish I have eaten outside of China. My wife ordered the carmel mango chicken - and she kept stealing food off of my plate because the lung pao chicken was so much better. We also ordered the chicken lettuce wraps - they are just OK by comparison to a similar Thai dish named larb

Ahhhhh it's finally Friday! It's been such a long week at work that I was trying to find somewhere with good food and good drinks... I always forget there is a PF Changs in Memphis, but I had a gift card (recent graduation gift) so my friend & I decided to go give it a try and we are so glad we did! We arrived at 5:00, just before dinner rush and we were promptly taken to an oversized booth near the back of the restaurant (the host was very friendly & talkative).. We definitely wanted to start with drinks and appetizers, but were not sure what to get. Our waiter (James) was very patient and not afraid to tell us what he thought was good (which we appreciated) we settled on the crispy green bean appetizer (only $4 on happy hour), I got the PF-X (a sweet fruity, mango infused drink - only $6 on happy hour) and my friend ordered their signature bloody mary (made with pepper flavored vodka)... Both drinks came out promptly and were delicious. The appetizer came out shortly after and were equally as enjoyable... I was reluctant to order these because often time fried vegetable have a tendency to be soft and soggy, but the green beans were extremely fresh and had just the right amount of "crunch" ! Also, the spicy chipotle sauce that comes with the green beans is to die for! (we asked for an extra) After enjoying our starters, it was time to order entrees.. my friend isn't a fan of seafood (i love the crispy honey shrimp) so we decided to order two non-seafood dishes to share... She chose the sesame chicken and I was debating between the crispy honey chicken and the chicken in black bean sauce.. We asked James which he would recommend and although he said the crispy honey chicken was one of the most popular items on the menu, he said the black bean chicken was somewhat of a diamond in the rough, so I decided to try something new and went with that! We finished up our appetizer, talked amongst ourselves and before we knew it our food was out (pace of service was great - not too slow and not too fast). Both dishes looked phenomenal. The sesame chicken was on the spicy side and was infused with onions, broccoli, and pepper (but again, nothing was soggy it was cooked just right).. the black bean chicken was definitely a great choice..the small bite sized grilled chicken was tossed in a deliciously tangy black bean sauce (tasted great with the brown rice).. I would certainly order both dishes again. In addition to the great food, the service was also awesome. James, our waiter, was the perfect combination of laid back and professional..He wasn't afraid to tell us what he thought was good (or not) and he regularly checked on us (but not in the annoying kind of way where you can tell the server is ready to go home). The manager on duty was also making several table touches and came by a couple times to see if there was anything we needed. Overall we enjoyed our PF Chang's Experience & will DEFINITELY be back!

I guess it's not bad for americanized chinese food. We ordered the salt and pepper shrimp, broccoli with ginger chicken, ma po tofu, and sichuan beef. The stars were the shrimp and the tofu. The shrimp were lightly fried and tossed with sichuan peppercorns and fermented black beans. The ma po tofu bears no resemblance to the original dish, but it was still very tasty. If you've ordered ma po tofu in a real chinese restaurant before you'll get soft tofu stirfried with pork, chilies, and other spices. The tofu is never deep fried... however, here it was. On top of that it's not served with broccoli. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I would not call it ma po tofu. The sichuan beef was tasty but the beef was terrible! You get little slivers of beef that are deep fried so much that they become hard like little rocks. I can't even call this crispy. It was hard to eat. The chicken was just too sweet. We also had spring rolls, which were incredibly bland and needed a lot of salt. Service was just ok. The waiter was friendly enough, but he was rather inattentive. He didn't realize we lacked napkins and forks and he didn't fill water very often.

My wife and I had never eaten at at P.F. Chang's before and decided to give it a try for lunch last Sunday since we were in the area. We went with the Four-Course Meal for Two. We had the following: crispy green beans, egg drop and hot and sour soup, and crispy honey chicken and crispy honey shrimp. The crispy green beans were delicious. The dipping sauce was spicy and we almost ate the whole platter before we realized it. The egg drop soup was the fanciest I've ever had and was very tasty. I'm not sure what my wife thought about the hot and sour soup. Here's what elevated this meal from 3 to 4 stars: our waitress overheard and remembered my wife saying I couldn't have an appetizer because of a shellfish allergy. She came back after the soup and told me she had checked on what I originally ordered and that it had shellfish sauce. She gave me a different menu and I picked out the crispy honey chicken. It probably would have been fine (mild allergy), but I'm glad she cared enough to do that. I'm really glad she did because my wife and I absolutely loved the crispy honey dishes we ordered. There was nothing to take home. The prices were higher than you usually expect to spend on Chinese food, but it was well worth it. The quality was appreciable when most experiences with Chinese are on the cheap buffet end of the spectrum.

Again Love this place and those who don't must have some kind of Chinese food goggles on. Of course P.F. Chang's is not actually strictly Chinese. It was created by Paul Fleming and Philip Chiang and I can only imagine this is their take on what they feel is their spin on the way they make their food. If you don't like something so badly don't go, and don't just make blanket statement that all P.F. Ghang's should close. Also it is a China Bistro not a Chinese restaurant if that makes a difference. I would imagine it is more of a fusion of styles than authentic. Now that I got my rant our of the way on to the review. I love this Chain of restaurants, my wife and I have been to 9 locations and will be adding our 10th next week in Orlando, FL. We were on vacation to Memphis when we went to this location and had a great time. We actually told our server that we had been to 8 locations and about the vacation planning around Chang's, he was so excited that he told his manager and the head cook. The manager gave us our own Mini lucky cat figurine. He explained that they are for good luck and each location is given one and they have to face it towards the front door, also they take it with them to any company event. The head chef cooked us a special dish that was not even on the menu, he called it the trio and it had chicken beef and shrimp in a really flavorful sauce with rice. It was at least a 15 dollar item for free. We were overly impressed with the service that the waiter gave and as always the food was really good. It makes me laugh when people talk about Authentic Chinese food and how much this place is far from that. I never expect authentic anything from a chain restaurant but I think the execution of their Chinese food is really enjoyable.

So I decide to try out Chinese food after having a terrible experience with Thai food in town.....To my utter surprise, whatever I ordered, the food was salty and loaded with Soy sauce!!!!!! I complained about it and they brought me a low-sodium version which was as salty as the previous one. I can't believe how they're feeding everyone with high sodium foods!!! Had nothing distinctly Chinese (cuisine). I ordered Pad-Thai because I love Thai food and it was a Chef's special....A crappy plate of Pad-Thai costed $14.99!!! I bet you it wouldn't cost that much in a restaurant that is at par to PF even in California!! The ambience, crowd and service was great....very pricey and the food was not distinctly Chinese. Please watch your salt/soy P.F!

This place is really good but also way over priced! I had a really good Vietnames crab salad but I don't think was worth sixteen dollars. If you love PF Changs, but not the price then try out Pei Wei, same company, same type of food for half the price.

It is really hit or miss here... Often the food is too salty, service underrated, and overpriced drinks. That being said there are a few menu items that aren't bad. The dumplings pan fried and lettuce wraps are worth trying, and their noodle dishes are pretty good.

Suggestion to Order: Crab Wontons and Garlic Noodles. Mmmm! Dali Chicken is the spiciest thing they have on the menu for those of you who like spicy stuff. Like I have stated in my review for other PF Changs, they are my favorite chain restaruant. I do have a couple things to say about this specific branch though. It is rather loud and I felt kinda crowded... The waiters were really nice! My friend and I had a conversation with a couple of the waiters on what there is to do in Memphis. (A side note: not really a whole lot when you are under 21). Our waiter checked on us a decent amount and kept our drinks refilled. One of my pet peeves! Its location is right outside of a mall, so that is pretty convenient for people who want to shop or just got finished shopping :)

I have always been a big fan of Chinese food, and having developed a gluten intolerance that puts many foods off limits, but especially anything with soy sauce. Thanks to their gluten free menu items, my boyfriend and I have recently visited PF Changs several times. Our previous experiences were quite pleasant all around. Everything we've tried on the menu so far has been tasty and met expectations. We have had excellent service provided to us provided to us by both LaDarius and Morgan. On our last visit, Morgan recognized us and remembered the copious amounts of tea my boyfriend tends to drink, and always had a refill waiting for him. My gluten free food has been great, and I have not gotten sick once from contamination which has shown me that they take great care to make sure my food is safe for me to consume. (For example, PF Changs policy is to serve gluten free menu items on a different style plate than other foods are served.) But, I just cannot say the same positive things about our experience last night. While the food was good, the portions served were much smaller than they have been on our past visits. I ordered the beef and broccoli as I did on my last visit. This time, I had much more broccoli than beef, on top of the fact that there was less food on the plate all-together. The same was the case with my boyfriend's "sichuan" chicken. As far as the service last night, Tia was our waitress, and I was not pleased with the service she provided at all. My boyfriend was constantly provided with his tea refills, and while I do not drink the amount of tea he does, I never once was given a refill, though I needed one. And while portions seemed to be less than usual, I am never able to finish my meal and always take about half of my dish home. Tia asked our table if any of us wanted to take our leftovers home. One of my friends said she did not, but I clearly and audibly said, "I would". Tia proceeded to take my plate and place it on a tray with other people's dirty dishes, and placed a dirty napkin from someone else's table on top of my plate. I commented that I had said I DID want to take my leftovers home. Tia then took the dirty napkin off my plate and put my plate back in front of me. She left to go get a dessert menu for our friends, and when she returned I politely told her not to bother with the leftovers that I had changed my mind. This is appalling and quite frankly, disgusting. While this one was bad experience out of about six in the past couple of months, it was still horrible. It goes to show how important a good waiter or waitress is for a restaurant. My recommendation is to request LaDarius or Morgan anytime you visit this PF Changs location!

I have never had a bad meal at P. F. Chang's. I had the Sea Bass and Spinach and it was fantastic. The service was great!

I was treated to P.F. Chang's China Bistro for my birthday it being my first time and all. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was comfortable and we were seated very quickly with a booth of our choice. The lighting inside the restaurant was just right leaning on the dim side but add's the illusion of privacy. Our server was very friendly and helpful dropping by the table frequently asking if we needed anything. We ordered Chang's chicken lettuce wraps for starter's and the combination Lo Mein noodles for our main course. Overall, I had a great birthday dinner and would recommend P.F. Chang's any time.

One of my favorite chains, always consistent and friendly. We sit at the bar because we seem to get more attentive service. Happy Hour has it's own menu with $3, $4, $5 & $6 drinks and appetizers. This is a great Happy Hour menu. The regular menu has many tasty offerings all of which I'm personally working through one at a time. Don't forget to go online and join there "Warrior" program which gets you a membership card and 10% off regularly priced food. Very good everyday wine list.

Decided to go to an old favorite on an early Monday evening. Sat at the bar and my bartender Jason introduced himself and asked my name. When I gave it I just figured it would be to identify my check. Little did I know that I would be hearing Jason say my name constantly through out my meal to the point that I wished harm to his vocal chords. It was happy hour and the bartender suggested the SPICY SHRIMP Wok-seared red curry shrimp tacos from the happy hour menu. I took his advice and ordered the shrimp tacos, crispy green beans, vegetarian lettuce wraps, and a Diet Coke. The food arrived quickly, and hot. The lettuce wraps were as good as remembered, but a fairly greasy. Next up the crispy green beans. The green beans were not lightly fried, but deep fried. Fortunately they were not overcooked. Last up the tacos. The only thing accurate in the description of the tacos was shrimp. The tacos were bland with 6-7 tiny deep fried shrimps. The shrimp had a splash of sauce a few chives and two and a half thin cucumber slices. I only ate one of the two. This whole experience really soured my opinion of P.F. Changes.

If you come here looking for authentic chinese cuisine, you are going to be disappointed. This is truly a restaurant of trial and error. You have to try several dishes and you will find dishes you will like, some you will not like. The one thing there that is a constant for me are the lettuce wraps. They never fail me!!! love them!

It's okay. Been there twice. Wasn't that impressed the first time but had a better experience the second. The food was good but I'm not too crazy about it.

OMFG this is NOT Chinese food... not even good American Chinese food. A lot of it is inedible! Just because you add (cheap) soy sauce to plain stir fried noodles does not mean it's Chinese food thank you very much! ...and stop patronizing your customers asking if they know soy sauce is Chinese salt or that sambal olek (hot sauce) is Chinese salsa! Which idiot trained these people?!? I have nothing against chain restaurant. But they ought to kill this one! No stars 'coz they don't bloody deserve it. Shit got to give one star minimum but you know I'm doing VERY reluctantly!!! Please don't make me ever come back here again - I beg of you (to my mother-in-law - it's her FAVORITE restaurant - so help me gawd!!. Want some real Chinese food, go to New Asia in Germantown or any bloody Chinese buffet beats the food here. This goes to ALL the PF Changs in this country! Can't believe they even opened one in Seattle. The gall!

Please be aware that P.F. Chang's is not authentic Chinese cuisine. In fact, P.F. Chang isn't even really a Chinese person (at least that's what I heard). But if you're in Memphis and craving Chinese, I guess P.F. Chang's will do - it's probably as close to Chinese as you can get in Memphis. I tried the wonton soup, which wasn't too bad. For my entree, I should've went with something safe, like fried rice. Instead, I ordered the Singapore street noodles, thinking it was their version of the Singapore style rice noodles. The noodles weren't bad, but definitely did not taste Chinese. Oh well.

I don't care what anyone a says, this place rocks in comparison to plenty of other "Chinese" restaurants. If you go to a CHAIN Chinese restaurant in AMERICA & expect magic then you deserve the disappointment. I've never been disappointed b/c I knew what to expect. The Chinese restaurant in our town (owned by Chinese) was shut down b/c the health department couldn't identify the meat that they used as being beef, pork, or chicken so gimme fake PF Changs anyday. Quit bitchin and cook your own damned Chinese food!!!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
