i find the sandwiches at all lenny's locations to be good. i like the sandwich selections and i feel full after leaving. prices are a little bit high but again, at least it's a filling healthy-ish meal. the south main lenny's has bad service. i don't want to see cell phones, and i definitely don't want the people making the sandwiches to be talking on one while they are in front of me. also, the girl at the register was rude, at best. i must say that not every time that i eat at this location is there a bad experience. it just seems that at times, no one wants to do their job.

Looking for something to make your mouth happy and your tummy do a happy dance? Look no further! Lenny's is the cool kid doing it and doing it and doing it well. The food is very good (hello there turkey on multigrain) and the staff matches the flavor (Sherri, I see you lovely). Awesome location for the natives. Easy on the pocket book. And if I should say so myself, perfect spot to talk to strangers. Winning! And the biggest crush award goes to those cookies. Catch me, I'm about to faint...

I'm a little confused about all the bad reviews for this location! It has, by far, the coolest space...downtown....on Main St....corner of Peabody...whaaat?! Perfect! Oh, and it is in a really old building and I just the love the high ceilings and cool entrance. I've never had a bad staff experience and it's Lenny's...the food is legit! I don't care if it is a chain. I literally go running so I can have one of these high caloric bad boys. Just ask my boyfriend, the last 10 minutes of our workout today, I was basically talking dirty about what all I was going to put on my sandwich...

Cant believe how good the service was here! Tonya was so helpful and made sure we understood the whole menu (it was my first visit to a Lennys). The meatball sub was delicious, cant wait to go back and have it again. Excellent value for money also

Oh Lenny's. You're there for me when I need you, but you also won't go away. I really like this Lenny's. It gets really busy at lunch. So much so that you might as well go to any of the casual sit down places in South Main. They really do have a great Philly Cheese Steak. I've had the real deal in Philly, and the ones at Lenny's don't disappoint. Most of their salads and sandwiches are good. I also love their jalapeÃ±o chips. The management and staff are always very friendly, and the restaurant is clean.

I'm not a fan of giving out only two stars, but this Lenny's is consistently inconsistent. Lenny's would not be my first choice for lunch downtown, but this Lenny's is super close to my office and we order "working lunches" pretty regularly because they are so convenient. If I have to suffer through something as boring as a turkey sandwich or salad, I at least want the items that I requested to be on there. Pickles? Why yes, I would like more than one pickle slice. Onions? I requested them, please put them on my salad. There is nothing exciting about shredded lettuce, turkey, and tomatoes. Good food, but management needs to properly staff the restaurant. The location and the fact that it is the weekend, demands more than a skeleton crew especially on a holiday weekend.

Sliced to order subs. Be patient. They gotta slice your meat and everyone else's ahead of you. Loved their Hot Pepper relish. Milder than jalapenos, with the perfect kick. Customer service was average. Not a whole lot of love shown when I walked in. Smiles anyone? Welcoming smiles or not, I'll be back for that Hot Pepper Relish! Yelp 31 reviews challenge #22/31
