Very yummy burgers and steak fries. Also a salad and food bar. Clean and simple. Good place to stop while traveling. Sweet and courteous servers. Will stop here again.

Nothing fancy, just a great, affordable, and convenient place to eat. Stopped in Manchester to stay the night on our way back from Disney, and The Oak was right next door. The best part of our dining experience was the wonderful southern hospitality you'd expect from a restaurant in Tennessee. Oh, and fried chicken livers on the salad bar, GENIUS!!!

Very tired interior and food that is nothing special. I had the salad bar and my mom had a cheeseburger and fries. I won't go back.

I would give it three stars for the friendly service and nostalgia but that's about it. I took away one star because the food wasn't very good. Maybe we caught them on a bad day? If you want a friendly smile from your server, this is your place.

Be prepared to step into the past in this restaurant. We stopped for dinner on Friday night, the price was right and the service was good. Salad bar had some items you don't see every day. We had fish n chips and the portions were very large. I'd say it was pretty good food for the price, sorry I didn't see the reviews about the fried chicken and shrimp before we got there.

Family style place right off the highway. Easy place to stop if you are a traveler and don't want fast food. Service was super friendly. The salad bar was fresh and had nice options. The menu was typical southern fare. My dining buddies raved over the fried chicken and fried shrimp. The decor is not fancy, but the restaurant is clean and welcoming. I would stop again for sure.

Look past the 1980's decor and just enjoy the food! Great place to stop and grab a quick bite of food that did not come out of a bag or freezer. I had the lunch buffet and salad bar. It was a nice change from fast food and reminded me of a hometown restaurant I grew up with. Go for the fried chicken and forget your calories for a bit and you won't be sorry. They also had several choices of homemade pizza that didn't disappoint.
